For all the hoopla elsewhere about these guys, I am not impressed. I called them 3 times urgently asking for a quote. I had seen their signs in the neighborhood and thought they would be a quality outfit. I never got even so much as a quote even though on the second time I was assured I would have one right away and I explained the urgency. I have since found out they cannot handle their business generated from their reputation and rely on subcontracting from other painting outfits (I talked to one of them). Harding effectively serving as the middle man. I don't know how they and their hired outfits paint, but its a moot point if I can't even get their attention. My experience: don't waste your time and hopes. Edit: I just got a response from Harding about this review...that I wrote 6 years ago! Par for the course, Harding's Painting!!! Glad to know I matter.

We recently engaged Corey Arsenault at Hardings to give our 20-year old house a complete interior paint, to prepare it for sale, after having tenants living in it for over 12 years (it was in a pretty rough state). From the point we reach out, we were met with fantastic responsiveness. Even though we did receive less expensive quotes from a couple of other companies, we proceeded with Hardings due to the level of professionalism, thoroughness of inspection and referal from a family friend. Both us and our realtor were absolutely amazed by the attention to detail and workmanship. The quality of painting was phenomenal and the house was completely renewed through the work that was done. The attached photos show how good it looked once finished. Our house sold after being on the market for less than a week and we think the investment we made on repainting with Hardings was a massive contributor to the speed of sale. We couldn't be happier and we would definately highly recommend them!

Harding's submitted a very accurate quote for our condo complex's exterior trim painting project, and lived up to it by being prompt, efficient and effective. There were a handful of "misses" that were quickly corrected after a post-project walkaround. I would recommend requesting a quote from Harding's to any property manager as part of their due-diligence.

The work requested was 5/5, the only fault was cleanup after. I'm still cleaning the ceiling speckling. But the work done was excellent. I have numerous pictures and items that need cleaning after the work. Likely could have been avoided by removing personal items from the blast area. The work was 10/10. Just make sure you give them the space to work. Expectation of services without removing furniture is a recipe for disaster.

We had to cut a hole in our ceiling to fix a plumbing leak. Harding came in and in a morning they repaired the hole and repainted so you cannot tell a repair was done. The final price matched the estimate. The staff were friendly and very good at their trade. Overall excellent!

Excellent Service from George at Harding' s painting. Some exterior panels, trim and garage door on our house. Matt and George we're great. Very professional, organized, on-time and budget. EDIT - We had paint peel off our garage door caused by water bubbles forming under the paint. This was because they did not prime the garage door before painting and the cool, moist weather the day of painting. They replied promptly and came out to fix it when weather permitted. The "fix" caused more issues and damage to our garage door. Paint sticking between panels caused bolts to rip out of the door. They again came out and fixed their errors. I have been compensated for the repair cost of my garage door. While it wasn't a perfect experience George and Harding's did stand by their work and eventually get it almost as it was before they first arrived.

There was some inferior paint jobs before (dripping paint, poor patching and sanding) but he fixed it right up! Great service - highly recommend We typically clean our own home ourselves every week but every now and then we like to treat ourselves, buy our time back, and have someone else to do it. It was super easy to book the service, and Judith (the owner) was laser focused, finding out what our immediate priorities were. I was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. The overall cleaning was great, as expected. However, what I was really happy with was how clean our master shower was. I'm pretty confident in saying we keep our home and bathrooms really tidy, however the shower glass has always been an issue (hard water stains). Harding's Cleaning did such a great job getting it clean. No hesitation, we'll hire them again. If you're looking for a reliable and personable cleaning service, Harding's Cleaning is it.

I called Rob for a referral to a painter who could help with some exterior painting that I need done. Poor service and painting. We have multiple place where the texture changes because of a repair that only got one coat of paint. Lots of places where the wall was not prepared properly and the paint flaked off. They came back 3 times to fix issues and would leave after an hour wether they are all fixed or not. We would set up a time for they to start and some times would not show up for 3 hours later. They also tried to charge us $2000 more than quoted the day before starting. We have us on getting them to fix the issues and have fixed them ourselves.

I am adding to this review because we have just had Hardings back again to paint our popcorn ceilings throughout the entire condo. Very happy with the results, the guys got the job done in one day! Very professional and friendly! Thanks again for a job well done and we will always use Hardings for any of our painting jobs. We purchased an older condo that needed a paint transformation and Harding's Services did not disappoint! Every inch needed to be painted. Not just the walls but the window and door jambs, casings, heat registers (baseboard water heaters), all closet doors including bifolds, and sliding doors. Bathrooms and laundry area. Before painting there were many many small, medium and large holes to be filled as well as cracks. The team from Harding's was excellent from the first step to the last. Thanks to our first contact member, Corey for all your help. Corey was very proffesional and knowledgeable answering all of our questions and making sure we were happy. A huge thanks to the painting crew Jonathan, Fabian and Eleesa. These people worked very hard, they were polite, friendly and their work was awesome. I knew that Corey worked for Harding's but did not know anyone that had used them, so when I needed a quote to get our newly purchased home painted before we moved in I decided to get a quote from Corey rather than just pick someone I did not know at all. I talked to him on Friday and he met me Monday to see what I needed done. I needed it done quickly, like painted that same week, before the movers came. He did what he had to do, which involved getting pieces of painted drywall by removing the cold air duct, for a color match and sent me the quote later Monday evening. We were happy with his service and how he told us that for what we needed it was probably better to go with the cheaper option. He didn't try to up sell us at all. Two hours later he sent the quote to my wife and I. We reviewed it and were very impressed by the price. He also said he could get a crew in to do it the next day and finish it the same day as well. We booked it. The next day after work I went and checked it out and everything was painted exactly how we had asked and it was all done. The crew Corey had in did a great job as did Corey and I will hire them in the future.

Unfortunately, Harding Cleaning Services fall under this. This was the worst residential and commercial cleaning we have ever experienced. We hired Harding Cleaning services based on their boasting of a thorough and meticulous clean. What we got was FAR from that. Our commercial space - the carpets were cleaned around, not under, shelves were not dusted, things I would assume a "professional" company would know to do. The manager seemed to have excuses and not address our concerns, only saying their cleaner had folded the mats, but not lifted. There was considerable dirt and debris when we had looked and we are not professional cleaners. Our residential clean was like they did nothing. First, the said they would send 2 cleaners, 1 showed up almost an hour late after I had to email to ask what was going on. The job they did was clearly rushed and several areas were not cleaned at all. Our front entry way table was not even touched, there was an inch of dust. Our bookcase, same thing. Our water dispenser on the fridge, filthy. Air return vents, not touched. Floors were lightly cleaned but still dirty. We have pets, they clearly did not dust in many areas. When I emailed to say no thank you we will not be proceeding with your services, the manager didn't even bother to ask why. Do not waste your money ($45 per hour) on this company, I had to have someone come in a week later to do it again. The manager has a great sales pitch but their quality of work is no where near what they say it is. EDIT: I emailed the company through their customer feedback with pictures of the clean and received no response about the quality of their work. Consent was given to return to the office space as they had a key. While Air vents may not be included, dusting is and the top of the vent was not dusted at all. The discount offered was because the 2nd cleaner showed up an hour late - email confirmation of this statement. Again, excuses for poor quality of work. The items not cleaned included, tables, bookshelves, water dispenser on the fridge, bathroom floors (see photos)

Our interior painting was just completed by Harding's. From start to finish, I was impressed with the service. Jason came out to estimate the project within a day of my call, and the prices were very reasonable. We compared to other companies, and Harding's was much more reasonable. As a side note, for those of you with smaller painting jobs, the minimum project for Harding's is only $250, versus $750 and $800 minimums for other companies we called. Our project was completed within two weeks, even in the busy summer season. Chris (the painter) arrived on time, was extremely professional, and took care to protect our carpets, remove shoes, etc to keep our home clean. He was very efficient, did excellent painting, and managed some difficult areas (such as a two story staircase and trim on the ceiling) with beautiful results. We were charged exactly what the estimate said-- not a penny more. Following the job, I was called a day or two later to make sure we were satisfied with the results, and they offered to touch up any spots we may notice in the next few weeks. Overall-- with affordable service, careful and professional painting, and friendly staff, I was extremely satisfied with the experience. I would recommend Harding's to family or friends.

We recently hired Harding’s to paint our kitchen and bathroom cabinets and kitchen ceiling. We are so very happy with the professional results. The two rooms have been transformed! Matt Rachul gave us the estimate in the spring and suggested that if we weren’t in a rush and could wait until the slower winter season to have it all completed, he could give us a discount. He is extremely knowledgeable and gave us some great ideas. Jason was our painter. He came to remove all the doors and drawer fronts so they could be sprayed off-site. By the end of the week, they were back in place, all the trim was painted and the ceiling finished too. What a difference! I can’t stress enough how particular Jason was to the prep work and the painting details and making sure everything was done to the highest standard. He also made sure that all the areas were taped off and protected with plastic sheeting. There was minimal disruption to the house while the job was ongoing and they made sure everything was cleaned up before leaving for the day. This is not the first time we’ve hired Harding’s for painting and it won’t be the last. In fact, we are already arranging our next painting project in a couple of weeks. I highly recommend them if you want to deal with professionals from start to finish, who offer valuable advice, all for a competitive price.

Harding's was willing to paint just one window while another company said it was too small of a job for them. I needed my house power washed and painted i asked if they could organize that the painters and window people came at the same time (they are separate contractors under the harding umbrella) the lady on the phone said yes. I got a call from Shelley and it was obvious in the first couple minutes she had no desire to coordinate appointments with the paint division. I took time off work 2 times to accommodate them...hmmm. i had to call the VP twice to get her to answer calls and emails. Shelley didn't come out when she first said they would and I had to phone back and ask what happened. Long and short with the power washing division I would not recommend them and Shelley needs some classes in customer service and how to talk to people Painting division Matt was quick to respond with the quote but then dropped the ball and didn't return calls. I was told there would be 2 guys painting and there was only one, same happened at the neighbors. I took a morning off work after I was told by George that he or Matt would meet me and no one showed and it took 2.5 hours to get George to call back...the painter called him Long and short Nick the painter was great and super professional. He did a great job. The others have no respect for peoples time I would definitely recommend Nick but the rest need some customer service courses.

This happened back at Easter but I am still not over it. The paint job was so bad I spent 6 hours fixing my main room and then another guy had to come and fix the entry and staircase. And after all that they only gave me 10% off the bill. They did not live up to the contract that clearly said they would cover all remaining furniture that was left in the room. This did not happen. One of the painters had muddy shoes on my carpet. All in all is was just a really bad experience. Aug 2: I have called the owner twice like I was asked to and NEVER got a response from anyone. Do not hire them. They must not care at all.

I wish I could rate the service at far more than 5 stars. About 2 years ago, I had my deck and veranda sanded and stained due to wear and tear. Phil Zoorkan completed the work with a product that was "guaranteed" for 5 years. In less than a year, the deck was slightly peeling and Phil came and looked at the issue and committed to rectifying the problem as soon as possible. Weather problems and scheduling resulted in the work being delayed until this year. As soon as there was a dry spell earlier this month, Phile arrived and completely redid the deck that was peeling. I returned from a trip yesterday and saw the result this morning. The only word to appropriately describe the results is AWESOME. I will always use Harding's for all my painting needs and can only hope I have Phil complete the work with his exceptionally professional approach to the job. He is the best!

June 21/21: UPDATE We had Harding's back to stain our fence today. Deep and his team - Ramen and Mani, arrived on time and knocked it out in half a day. They sprayed the stain and the result is an even coat across both sides of our massive fence. The team was careful to cover up tight areas to avoid overspray and took extra care working around our gardens and shrubs. They were incredibly pleasant and a joy to work with. The clear cedar stain recommended by Attila is perfect and our fence looks brand new. Thank you Harding's! Once again-exceptional workmanship and service! August/20: We had a few quotes done and all were comparable but we were sold on Hardings’ prompt response, level of product knowledge and project know-how. Aside from the color, our vinyl siding was in good shape. We’ve researched painting it and waffled over mixed reviews. A few days after (and after payment was done) I noticed what looked by roller marks in the front entrance when the sun shone in the windows. We had Matt Rachul attend our house last fall for advice on painting a spare bedroom. The work was great. We called Matt back to give us a quote on the entire house. Initially Matt was great to work with. The painters he assigned to our home (Frazer, Matt & Aaron) did a wonderful job. Shortly after the job was completed and we had some issues with the finish, things went badly. Matt Rachul came to our house and advised us that because we had purchased our own paint (which they said was fine to do), they would not be responsible for any of our issues. Of note is the fact that we actually used a higher quality paint than they were proposing. My wife called Matt to discuss the problem with the finish on our walls. Matt’s response was that it was not their issue, given that we had used our own (higher quality) paint. When my wife indicated that did not seem justifiable, Matt chose not to discuss the matter any further and hung up on her.

We cancelled our whole work order to have our 8 unit complex painted with a few touch ups inside and mostly outside. The scheduling was not well planned. The email work order said the job would be scheduled within 10 days and that was on July 8. 18 days later, on July 26 I had to follow up as no one had gotten back to me. I mentioned we need some notice to let the tenants know which date to have their balconies cleared. So on July 26 the chosen date was July 30 which gives me 4 days notice, but at the time when I checked the weather it was forecasted for 40% chance of rain so I asked to reschedule after the August long weekend. Then I get an email this morning July 28 that’s it’s been rescheduled for tomorrow July 29, giving me less than 24 hours notice. The board decided to cancel the work order altogether and as soon as I told the employee assigned to our work order that we want to cancel he hung up on me before I could even finish my sentence, so that’s that. It’s like I was a nuisance to him. I’m giving 3 stars because I don’t think 1 person reflects a whole company and I don’t doubt this company does good work but we never got the opportunity to see that through.

On two separate occasions I have called Harding's Painting just to receive a quote for some indoor work. I spoke to Corey, who asked me to 'shoot him an email' and he would promptly get back to me. Well that was January; over 5 months ago. I called again two weeks asking for a quote for outdoor painting of our house. Again, I have not so much as received a phone call back. Can't comment on their work as they obviously don't even want my business. They obviously do not know anything about customer service and I would adamantly recommend to not waste your time even phoning this company.

Response from Atilla on my request For quote was same day. I accepted the quote and had a crew on site in 4 days and the job was completed in 1 day (950 sq.ft. 1 bedroom suite). There was quite a bit of daping and nail hole to repair as well. Good clean up! Crew was friendly and professional.
