It was absolutely amazing!!! Everyone was happy, patient, and didn’t rush me. The selection was nice, and the price was just right! I came all the way from Superior Township even though I could have gone to Ann Arbor. Glad I did! Only disappointed that I couldn’t have a glass of the Vernors beverage due to Covid-19. I will return to get a glass once we pass this pandemic.

My eye exam was wonderful, the optometrist was incredibly friendly and knowledgable. The other staff were INCREDIBLE. So so so helpful, really friendly, and went above and beyond helping my mother-in-law and I pick out the perfect frames. Absolutely the best customer service.

If you're getting your eyes examined there, the eye doctor I had was top notch! This is a well run store with friendly, helpful staff, and you'll have plenty of frames to try out, all of which are high quality. I just got my new glasses today. I couldn't be any happier. I'll definitely come back for my next pair. :)

Super simple, easy and quick process. I came in with no experience with glasses at all, and in less than an hour I had my eyes examined, was given a prescription and the staff helped me pick the perfect frames.

Bless y'all! The company in general just makes picking glasses fun and very affordable. As for this specific location, I am so pleased with all of my experiences. Each person is very kind. I picked a tortoise frame that I liked in store, but didn't like the pair I ended up receiving. I went back expecting to return for a refund or exchange for completely different pair (which is also very easy with their 30days hassle free policy). But they gave me ANOTHER option - they brought out different pairs of the tortoise frame I'd chosen and let me pick the pair that I loved and just switched the lenses out. So, so easy. I was so stressed about going back and returning etc etc but they made me feel comfortable with whatever I decided. Additionally, everyone there has great style and taste. So, I trust their opinions on frames...even ended up with an additional pair I wasn't expecting to like lol thanks so much!!

I cannot speak highly enough of this store and Warby Parker as a whole. I stopped by without a prescription ready and the associates helped me pick out a pair I liked and a pair of sunglasses. My head is kinda big, so finding a pair I like can be really challenging. The associate I worked with was really patient and helpful. She uploaded my order to the website. Once I had my prescription, I just had to upload it only and my order processed immediately and was at my door in less than a week.

I love WP -- they are the best! I ordered my glasses after doing a home trial of five frames. This allowed me to choose the perfect frame; I sent them back and ordered my favorite with my prescription. It got very pricey due to my terrible eyes, but that's not really their fault, and for once I have cute frames. I am going in for some adjustments this weekend and expect good things in person, as everything else has been great!

Great experience with eye exam and picking out glasses. A few non-metered parking spots on Clifford, also they will validate at the Z parking lot. Ask for a cup of Vernors while there!

Had an eye exam here and also bought one pair of glasses. The eye doctor was great--very friendly. After my exam I stuck around to look at frames. I was disappointed in their selections. The vast majority of their eyeglasses have thick frames, and I prefer thin, black, metal frames. I also prefer rectangle-shaped, smaller lenses, and there were very few eyeglass frames with my preference. I ended up settling on a pair that I did not love because they were one of the only pairs that met my preference. The glasses fit great and came quickly. Although I did not love them when I first started wearing them, they are starting to grow on me. I still wish they had more thin frames with smaller lenses (in all colors)! And I did not get free Vernor's :(.

I bought a pair of the laurel sunglasses and I love them. I'm a super busy working mom, so when I desperately needed a new pair of sunglasses there was no way I could go out and leisurely try on multiple pairs. The home try on was extremely easy. I selected a pair and my frames came quickly. Unfortunately, my first set was slightly warped, however the customer service was impeccable and they immediately sent me a new set of glasses along with a pre-paid return label so I could send back the defective pair as soon as my new ones arrived. These glasses are stylish, affordably priced, very convenient to buy/try on, and the company has incredible customer service. I will definitely be purchasing again!

I called Warby Parker before driving to there Detroit location on Woodward to ensure they were open. A man answers and tells me yes store is open and they are open for inside business. No appointments needed. I Drive down and they are closed!!! No signs on the doors of why or anything. There is a positive ending though. I went to Ford Health system OptimEyes and Kerri whom helped me as extremely friendly. Plus They were following all Covid protocols so they received my $1546 worth of business from the different peers of glasses I purchased.

Helpful, knowledgeable staff. Easy to get to, with many transit and reasonable parking options. They're out of network for me. Their prices are so low that my out of network reimbursement would have paid the entire bill if I hadn't gotten progressive lenses. After 1½ months, I'm pleased with the prescription, lenses and frames. I'd encourage you to give it a try and make an afternoon out of enjoying downtown like I did.

Pretty cool place. Had trouble deciding between two pairs and one of the staff helped me out. Prices are surprisingly good at $95 for the frame and lenses. The store also looks great and makes you feel like you're ordering something premium. If you don't live too far and are looking for glasses, give this place a shot.

The way that this place treats ppl of color who work there is unacceptable. I’ve heard numerous bad stories about employees of color not being treated unfairly. This place puts on a good cover but behind the scenes it’s anything but. The products they sell are great but this place has a lot of work to do protecting its employees of color and treating everyone equally.

Wow, was going to drive out to Costco on 12 mile to get a pair of reasonable glasses, did some online research, found that Warby Parker was rated even more reasonable and great quality, only drawback was limited stores to find,, and here, they have one now in Downtown Detroit where I live.. so, I WALKED over, no freeway driving thankfully, got a great pair for 95.00 , look great, walked home, was ready in 4 days, walked over, picked them up., walked home in 10 minutes..Doesn't get any better, great glasses and real nice , efficient sales/ service people at the Woodward store. Definitely recommend.

Great eye glasses place, to me, the fact that they give you Vernors for free during your visit gives this place 5 stars on its own. The people were also very helpful. The prices are lower than pretty much any other eyeglasses place and when you buy a pair, Warby Parker will give a pair to charity.
