I went here to get progressives. They had great prices and very helpful staff. I did not buy my glasses here though as I felt their choices of frame style seemed dated and a not to my style. I didn't see any frames I liked. But I felt the people here were kind and helpful.

Hakim on Broadway was great! The staff were super helpful while I was shopping for glasses- not pushy and very welcoming. I had visited many other places in Vancouver and Hakim had by far the most diverse selection frames with the most down-to-earth staff.

Have been in person, then spoken on the phone to try and get my prescription from the exam. Have found them to be repeatedly unhelpful and frustrating. Optometrist who conducted exam was very nice, but has apparently left.

had my consultation with Fatima and Armaan at Hakim Broadway this late Nov or early Dec. Excellent customer service. They knew how to provide feedback on the frames that would suite me, in a very self-esteem boosting way. They helped me figure out costs, trialing the direct billing system multiple times. Lovely people, it was great to have a female and male perspective on the frames. I went home feeling great too, which isnt something that often happens when looking at that many mirrors lol. Bless you guys. about to come over to pick my finished frames (they were ready around xmas).

I decided to go into Hakim optical on west Broadway for the first time last week. The ads for this chain make it seem like it’s on trend. Not the case with this shop. There were a lot of ugly Hakim brand frames but little to select from. It felt depressing.

Choosing 4 pairs of glasses was a very difficult task for me and my wife with different tastes, but with the accurate, smart and valuable guidance of Ms. Ferri, the optician in charge of West Broadway Hakim store, we were able to choose the right frames and glasses and leave both happy and satisfied. The manager (I can't remember his name) is extremely knowledgeable and was instrumental in helping us choose the right frames. With an amazing selection, great prices and excellent customer service we'll definitely be buying our next frames here. Highly recommended!

If i could give them more stars I would. We began our vacation on a Saturday, from Whitehorse Yukon, with a stop in Vancouver to watch the Canucks Bruins game that night, and on to Mexico first thing the next morning. In our hastiness to catch the plane, my wife forgot her glasses of all things. Well we landed in Vancouver and phoned these guys up, they directed is to an optometrist who would take us last minute on a weekend after numerous attempts before we even stepped foot in the store. After some running around to get the prescription, we arrived at Hakim Optical to a very friendly shop owner and assistant (I'm very sorry but I don't recall their names). They promised they would do everything they could to get us some glasses that day, and they delivered! But it doesn't stop there. After finding the perfect frames, it turned out they only had one of the prescription lenses in stock. They proceeded to phone the other Hakim Opticals around Vancouver until they tracked down a lense, but the shop that had it, unfortunately, had a broken machine and could not process the lense. There were arrangements made and some running around and the lens was brought to the West Broadway location where the glasses could be made. Alas our vacation was saved, (and became the trip of a lifetime) and it even turned out that my wife is happier with these glasses than she has been with any in years. I cannot thank you enough Hakim Optical, your service was above and beyond any I could have ever imagined from anybody. And a special thank you to the gentlemen who provided all of this while smiling and putting in all this effort without making us feel like an inconvenience in the slightest. Sorry for the long review but the service was exceptional. Thank you again Hakim Optical!
