SAIT is a beautiful campus with amazing programs and instructors alike. Did a 2 year program here and don't regret it for the world
Great building for seminars.
It's a great facility (except the bathrooms they are terrible and out of order a shocking amount of times). I had a great time and learned a lot. The coronavirus lockdown cut my program short and I also lost a ton of opportunities in the way of shop time and business development.. naturally there was no sort of prorated refund.
Sait is one of the most popular colleges in Calgary. All buldings and roads are in very good conditions, so it is really safe place for students and pedestrians. From the main campus Heritage Hall you can see one of the best views of downtown.
SAIT has a sterling reputation among students and employers in industry. Facilities are of a very high quality (library, study area with table lamps and wood furniture, food court etc.), all set in a beautiful campus with a view of Calgary's downtown core. In addition, the resources are all geared to help you successfully learn and also find a good job. The staff are simply the sweetest and most helpful and instructors top notch. The school keeps in touch with employers who are frequently on campus attending events such as class presentations and such...they eventually (or shortly as is sometimes the case) hire students right out of the program. Research the program you are interested in so you know it's right for you, then make use of all the excellent facilities and resources available and most importantly: give it your best! SAIT will not disappoint.
It's the best. The teachers are very professional and friendly. Buildings have all the tools to study.
SAIT Polytechnic is a technical school offering a multitude of courses, a great atmosphere, and many clown sightings. has full food court and only a few miles from downtown it is a great place. 10/10 would attend again!
Clean and even with the in-person learning, it feels Covid safe
I graduated from ITSD. I love their approach on teaching. It's practical! You graduate and you know how to do your job. The things I did practically by hand are the things I still remember until today. I would go back to take another diploma one day.
VERY VERY happy with them taking the guidelines seriously and checking proof of vaccination and IDs at the doors of each building!
Beautiful looking building, the original SAIT. But then you walk inside, and it's all '80's. The inside needs a tasteful renovation. …
Great place to learn. Smaller class size, and knowledgeable instructors means better chance to talk. Campus has a great location and amenities nearby, plus right on the c train line.
Fantastic school, and really work hard to make you employable and ready to enter the workforce as a top applicant. I have loved my degree program, and compared to other students in the same program (business) at larger universities, I feel more knowledgable, am more qualified and ready to begin my career. I leave SAIT with my BBA in Financial Services, my completed CSC, most of the way finished my CFP. No other university business degree program that I’ve seen offers these credentials to their student through their regular degree syllabus. Coming from U of A, I have the ability to compare the two, and moving to SAIT’s business program was the best move I could have made for my education and career.
I love this Campus. My Son was in the culinary program. And my daughter-in-law is now attending classes there.
Campus is beautiful. Have attanded this place for school and weddings and enjoy being here. Would give it a 5 star but the bookstore lately has been only a 1 star service. I do appreciate that they have the Starbucks open during covid and that parking is cheaper than usual as well. Instructors have also stepped it up during these weird times.
I can honestly say this is the worse experience I have ever had, firstly never pay tuition earlier then a week before the due date because they will add other random fees. Furthermore hope you're ready for subpar education compared to before covid. SAIT isn't here to provide good education, they only want you're money. If you can I would suggest any other school.
It was wonderful to be back able to attend an event at the Jubilee again. Saw the Calagry Opera production of the Merry Widow. It’s was a great show, I just missed being able to purchase beverages between acts.
worst college ever .. stupid rules during covid times
The trade teachers in school of construction are good stuff. Unfortunitly i was unable to buy a parking pass due not recieving any emails or login info to buy a parking pass. Now im stuck paying 800 bucks for 8 weeks for parking. And it's extremely hard to get a hold of someone on the phone usually a hour wait time and when you do they are not the happiest.
UPDATE: This issue was dealt with promptly, and I would like to thank the service staff. I hear recent cuts have made things pretty tough, and the receptionist on the phone was patient but thorough. I eventually took the upgrading in question, and forgot to update this review. Thank you! ORIGINAL: Attempted to take academic upgrading here. Applied fine and managed to submit my transcripts. When I attempted to apply for the courses, there was a requirement that I met but apparently the system didn't think so. I submitted a ticket and they got back to me a few days later - they said transcripts are correct but there is an error in the system still, so I have to phone in to speak to a rep and apply directly. Now that would be fine. However, I phoned the number they provided at least a dozen times over the span of two weeks to be met with an answering machine that didn't let me leave a name or number. Not even the option of holding on the line. Sure enough the course has started and still has 15 open seats...wow.
Graduate of the respiratory therapy program! And only have great things to say about SAIT and the campus! Has a great view of the city and is a spectacular campus! The teachers and staff where very very helpful and provided a great education
Very neat place. The campuses here are so modern, and technically advanced. Came here on a field trip with my high school, and it was amazing. They offer so many Interactive programs for kids that haven't enrolled yet due to age, and high school graduate time. The tour guides were super friendly. I had a ton of fun trying this place out. Amazing experience., and quality visit.
Honestly, great school. I learned tactical skills but mostly life lessons and amazing friendships. Choosing SAIT was the best call 19 year old me did. One thing my curriculum of 2018 needed was Sustainability and the basics of applying a Circular Economy. That was the only class I noticed lacked importance and further information. Unfortunately, I only noticed it went I went to university and saw how most things revolve around sustainability and if we don't apply it from the beginning we are at a large disadvantage.
I really loved sait! Met some awesome people . I just wished my program was a bit longer and that my classes were a bit earlier. 6 months didn't feel long enough to feel the full sait experience. But from what I did experience I really enjoyed. Totally would recommend this school!
While I'd initially called during a system transition, and had run into some quirks-things turned around quickly. My application to return to school was far smoother, and efficient than one could hope for after making contact with someone in the office.
update in August, 2020. (9months) Still waiting . --------------------------------- I paid my brother one year tuition but his student visa didn't get through. I have been requesting a refund since mid of December, 3.5 months later, after more than 5 phone calls, multiple emails requests, I learned the same answer every time !!!!! " we didn't see your request in email, and I am going to make another request, then you have to wait another up to 6 weeks. " I don't know what i should do if i get same answer in 6 weeks. 5 phone calls sound nothing but it takes 40 to 60 mins waiting every time. very frustrated!!!. I hope SAIT college can see my review and respond.
Hands down a world class experience from a world class instituion. I've been at sait for 4 years of training and I'm going to miss it with my heart and soul when I am done. My instructors have been the best teachers I've ever had. The …
Going to class was a bit of a pain but great experience over all my instructors are rad and the students I talked to were also rad!
Unqualified staff. Very very hard to reach and resolve an issue. Awful website and enrollment process. Staff have no knowledge about the courses and the correct requirements. I absolutely wasted thousands of dollars and I realized they offered me a wrong program that can’t ever use. Go to any college but Sait . Waste of money and time.
Absolute worst post secondary! If you deviate from the course program in anyway be prepared to have an incredibly difficult and frustrating time finishing courses. SAIT does not offer courses in both semesters and does not post future semesters until one month before the next semester. This gives student no ability to plan out future semesters ahead of time. Along with this, the administrative staff are not only miserable to deal with, but do not care in the slightest to help students out. Along with this, SAIT has one of the lowest transfer credit rates, they accept no where near as many class in comparison to every other institute. If you work, have children, or plan to take longer than the allotted time to complete a program, do your self a favor and DO NOT go to SAIT. choose an institution that has some sort of flexibility because SAIT has zero.
My name is ARAVIND SUSHAMA RAJACHANDRAN [student ID 000853039] from India, who deferred my offer letter for Environmental Technology in SAIT to September Intake. I paid the entire tuition fees for first year on February onwards and currently in the wait list of the same course for September intake. As the pandemic rising day-by-day, I requested to cancel my application from waiting list and to refund the amount paid on July 20 2020, since then there is no updates from college. In website they assures that they will respond to a mail with in 2-3 business day but in my case its about a month and still no response. Why you guys offering this much worst customer service to students.. Please do something as soon as possible in my case
Handled covid terribly. Made it a nightmare getting back to classes. Could not have made the process harder for me. Called the office of the registrar-they were rude and dismissive
Its big, its got a lot of amazing resources, many amazing staff, and SAITSA is really nifty as well. Unfortunately, it's very very expensive, and only getting worse (whether the economy will get better or not). I'd say you should come here if you have a very specific idea of what you want. In the age of the internet, it's more and more difficult to legitimize the actual education of the courses, and by the end, you may wish you never went through all the trouble for a paper and some sudo-legitimacy. To all those students like me, finally hitting the end of your time here, I wish you luck. Also, pro-tip: Take advantage of the councilling services SAIT has to offer. Its incredibly difficult being a student, moreso as you move forward in the program. The councillors are free and incredibly supportive. If you don't like the one you have you can try with another.
I love my school so much! Everything about it is great! I re-did high school here and currently a full time engineering technologist student... the atmosphere on campus is welcoming to everyone, campus is easy to navigate and instructors are excited to teach and help!
I had done my AT FIRST year and dropped the 2nd due to the baby but because there is no daycare at SAIT i am still in trouble to go back and complete. after studying on student loan i cant afford daycare for my child.
Great courses when they feel like actually letting you in so you can take it
Best school ever Top notch staff, facility and education ????
6/5 I don't understand how anyone could give SAIT less than 5 stars. It truly is a world-class facility that aims to provide every student that walks through the door the right tools and skills to be successful in what ever trade they desire. I took the AT program and if it wasn't for the guidance from the instructors and the course material we learned, I'd hardly be the tech I am today! For one semester I also lived at East Hall on campus and that was a great learning experience as well. I have had many opportunities come my way because employers resonate so highly with SAIT. There's a reason it has been operating in Calgary for so long and continues to grow! Nice work SAIT! -mackenzie
I was part of the first class to graduate from the then new Financial Services program. The education I received at SAIT has been useful in all of the jobs I had over the years. From the investments class through accounting, law or statistics, everything learned at SAIT has been, and will continue to be, greatly useful.
I'm not really sure what there is to review about this place. I took a picture as I was walking by for classes in another building. It's old, but well maintained. Looks like a cool Castle with the same look and feel of a lot of the other schools in the city built around the same time. Neat to check out if you're in to history as it's mostly original inside and they have a bunch of plaques with historical information all around.
Proud to say it's my Institute, the best education provider in North America. Awesome campus and lovely stuff and students.
I’ve been trying to apply in SAIT for high school upgrading in for this fall semester, since SAIT didn’t respond I chose Bow Valley. Now I tried contacting SAIT again but no respond, it will be perfect if they hire someone who can handle calls and respect students time. I’ve been wasting my time calling SAIT. My friend has also tried contacting SAIT and got no response, I am totally unsatisfied by SAIT’s unprofessional service.
Abysmal school. Twice now I've been placed into online only classes despite explicitly making sure to register for the mixed or in-person courses. No communication on anything ever until you go there in person and demand to know what is happening, The dorms don't have an oven of any sorts and will attempt to charge you for a whole month even if you leave within the first week of classes. Never go to this school, paying some guy on reddit to teach you would be a better use of money.
I think your content on the website is not true. They deceive students with these information, for example rate salary of the website is captivate, but in real is completely different. I graduated at Network Technician in 2017 and this program never help me to find a job, the only thing I get is owing money to the government. I understand this is a business and it is not helping student to upgrade skills and find a job.
I have applied in this college because i liked it very much , watched videos on youtube this college is very good ... Thats why on 22nd jan 2021 i have applied for offer letter ... They said we will provide you offer letter within 14days, infact i waited for 3 months but no response from SAIT. Because of that i have to apply for other college and they gave me offer letter in about 10days . And still no response from them.....
BE WARNED!!! ????SAIT unethical and unfair business practice that you need to be aware of so you don't waste your time and money! I applied to SAIT in May for an OPEN advertised program, waited almost 3 months for an update on my application status only to be told that the said program, been advertised as Open to the public up until the 1st week of July was actually filled up by early February. I reached out to the CEO, who passed my concerns on to his registrar but no one seems to bother addressing why an institution would advertised a non-existent program defrauding applicants of their hard earned money and causing so much frustration and heartache. So if you wouldn't want to go through the frustration and unfair treatment that I received from SAIT, seek admissions somewhere else and not with SAIT because that "advertised program" on their website might actually have been filled up months back or practically non-existent. I wish there was a way to give zero star. I will keep posting this on all platform to warn applicants and expose this unethical business practice until SAIT takes responsibility for this and make it right.
Hi..I want to pursue my futher education from your reputed institution.I am planning for January 2021 intake..so my ques is Can I get admission in the Jan 2021 intake, if I apply for my offer letter today and how much time will it take to provide me offer letter?I shall be grateful to you...kindly reply asap...
Top Institute for tech and technologists. They also offer business, culinary, and apprenticeships in many different fields. The instructors are great and will help you with work if you ask. You get as much from the programs and culture as you put in. Consider it not just an ends to a means, but also a great place to make connections and acquaintances.
Low star reviews are from people who A) unable to finish a course because they don't work hard B) Socially inept and unable to find a job after graduating or C) Are just negative people. My experience at SAIT was awesome. Took a diploma then continued on to get my bachelors degree. It is a great route for people who learn by doing, actually want to get a job after graduating and/or are into technology. The instructors are awesome (especially Geomatics & GIS ;) ) and Verda was one of the most responsive, encouraging and helpful educators I've ever worked with. After wasting 2+ year at U of C, making the switch to SAIT saved me. It set me up for industry and encouraged me to think outside of the box when dealing with problems. Thank you!
It's a great school, but my only criticism are the add/drop courses. I mean why do I have to see my coordinator/advisor to drop a course especially from a two year program, if I can simply drop the course online from MRU or UofC? Completely absurd. As well, my other concern is the fact that I have to attend classes every day Monday-Friday without even taking a day off. You know? Us students have part-time jobs and need personal space from seeing the same group every day! The buildings are a combination of old and new which is meh.
Very beautiful place. The architecture is amazing! I loved walking around with my family during an open house.
I went here for first year sheet metal a while back, and despite a couple of instructors being fairly decent, there were a lot that just didn't care. How do you learn from someone who doesn't care? Not to mention that their shop they expected us to learn in was (dont know if it still is) so archaic. Those machines don't exist anymore! What use is it to learn on a machine that you'll never even see in your career? A good majority of the shop class was completely irrelevant to modern day technology.
A wonderful place to learn. Small classes, charismatic instructors, hands on experience in conjunction with the theory. What more could a student ask for?
1st complaint: If I could rate 0 I would. This institute is a joke. First the dropped qualifications to, 50%so they could make more money on admission fees. My 55% was not qualified and when I called to ask why they said 60was more the requirement even though they say 50.Got a 74% and that wasn't good enough She finally told me to 80%and higher will actually get you in. So I just blew $100(at least taxes will cover it) when they really should just state the 80%for a requirement but why when they can make more by lowered false requirements. Second complaint: I challenged the Biology 20 test that sait offers. Apparently they keep that mark and will not update your transcript marks with that if you want to go to another college. Since I did the test there it's for them only, even when I asked to just see it I can't get my own mark for the biology 20 challenge test that I paid for so I could have anytime I wanted to go back to school. Also my upgraded Engine 30 mark and my computer test mark, that I had paid to take the test for, is also withheld from me. $150 I paid to take all these tests which are my marks and I can only use them for sait, no other school. So to get around that a little is I told them I was applying to sait and I would like those emailed. They will tell you administrative has all the marks but insist on getting it emailed to you anyways. They must think you are applying to them, don't be arrogant and say no you are going somewhere else cause you won't win and get your marks, play their game and just say you are.
This negative review is about the medical refund. My daughter was covered under my medical Insurence so she applied for the refund that SAIT automatically charged first and you have to request for refund which is so stupid as it is. They didn’t refund the amount for first semester as according to them the deadline was over to apply the refund but they didn’t refund it on the last semester as well even though it was applied before the deadline. My daughter has the proof and she tried sending emails back and forth but they did not refund the money. What kind of educational institute is this, which charges students and don’t refund their money upon request?? Don’t they already have so many other unnecessary fees?
Good luck trying to communicate with anyone at this school. I had to contact 4 different people and still never recieved a straight answer or help in any way.
As a former student, SAIT provided me with the knowledge and confidence to strongly establish myself in my field. Now, many years later, I am a proud faculty member of this institution. Your experience will be a result of the efforts you will put in, but with hard work and a positive "can do" attitude, you are very likely to find all the successes you dream of.
I do'nt know if my National oil corporation in Libya had contracted w you to take course for six month , but I wish to take the course in this SAIT.
It is one the best polytechnic college in the canada. It is really worth to get your studies done from here but sometimes your schedule can get really tight so many students may not like it. It provides deep practical and theoretical knowledge.
Great job navigating covid to still provide an education and resources to students. I will review bookstore seperate. EDIT: based on their reply and willingness to assist I've bumped this up to a 5 star review. It goes to show how much SAIT cares
Did my Apprenticeship here back in 09 and the school had great instructors with great hands on training . Have returned recently to find that the courses are dragged out with irrelevant, and outdated material . Text books are often wrong and or opposite of what's on a test . The tuition costs don't reflect the value of the course... fancy new buildings though .
The Bookstore is a disaster. My course starts in days and the apprenticeship material is on back order. I had this issue last intake too, no point on emailing. If the manager does reply 5 days later his customer service is horrid. Trying to go to school in a pandemic isn't the easiest you would think they would at least be helpful. I wish anywhere else sold this material.
I received a scholarship from this school and have been trying to accept it for the past few months. I have called multiple numbers, and emailed multiple people with no response. The deadline to accept my money is now tomorrow and I have still not heard back. I would really appreciate some help as I am out of options. Super disappointed.
8 hour days in the shop to make up for lost time during early months of covid. Awesome welding program, would highly recommend this school to anybody wanting to learn trades.
My relationship here was extra special. In fact, its where I had my first enlightenment as a bedroom educator. Thank you president David for everything you’ve done for me and my family, through this relationship, all these years.
Finishing first year of IT program, nothing promised was delivered. From 5 classes we had only 2 proper instructors, the rest are contracts, who can not deliver the content or provide the instruction. I am currently considering transfer to another college. I would not recommend anyone to enter this school. They all about money making, and care very little about students.
Does the staff here receive training that addresses the barriers that adults from foster care face when it comes to attaining higher education? What steps is SAIT taking to become an ally to this vulnerable population?
Great technical school!
These guys have the greatest student support ever! as a student in one of their program every semester they had issue with money and it was always that they wanted more money from me! and what is so wonderful is that they would threaten the student near the middle of the semester that they own them more money and if its not resolved within a very short deadline the students will not have the access to the entire d2l program. so this semester I paid more than 10k initially via student aid fund and on Oct 30th they send me a notice that I own them additional 1.3k and the deadline to pay for this fee is by Nov 5th. yeah they want a student to somehow make $1300 and pay them with in a week. no prior notice whatsoever. I asked them that I requested student aid for a review for some additional fund but they need time so I have asked the sait to extend the grace period and they simply said no and that you need to pay now. Its not even like I said I dont wanna pay, as a student who is busy and is doing midterms where can you make $1300? and last semester similar thing had happened and on a prior semester they also did a similar thing where they said students were allowed access to school facility and would need to pay additional fee for school recreation fee? that was not notified until the last moment few days prior to deadline. If this place truly care about teaching and producing quality workforce this would probably not be the way to do it. essentially threatening students with their class to ask for more money. I would not have felt this way but after having this issues all 3 semesters that I have been with them I strongly feel that they have an inadequate system that does not work in favor for students.
Last year (spring 2020) I enrolled in a distance education power engineering course with sait. Basically, their course was a copy of the pan global questions and offered no further content. When I tried to ask some questions about how I was going to do my exam (start of may) I could not contact ANYONE and they would not reply to my messages or emails. Finally I got a reply in mid August (almost 4 months later) that they could extend my already expired course by 4 days to do my exam, but they would not respond to me when I tried to contact them about it. When I finally got ahold of them I got told they cannot do anything about it because since I could not complete the exam, I had failed the course and could not get a refund or credit toward any other course. Lesson learned- if you do not have means to physically walk in to SAIT to ask questions or get help, do not get a course with them as they exist primarily to make money, and once they have your money they will ghost you so you have to buy your course again.
This place is terrible they took both my husband and mine money and kicked us both out the staffs don’t give accurate enough information causing confusion. They don’t really help you to appeal anything properly explanation need to be given …
Very slow and lazy in response. Especially at the Centre of Continuing Education. If Jessica ever replies to you it will be either too late or very brief answer so you will be left with even more questions.
SAIT made me so frustrated. I am graduated and international student. I waited for over a month to have my transcript and my completion letter to apply for my PGWP. SAIT sent me an email with no unofficial transcript. In the email, they showed me detail about how to pay $10 for official transcript. However, I don't need official transcript. I only need unofficial transcript. They only said I can print it on mysait. I went to mysait website, but there were no way to print or save it to my computer. I tried to contact them by email last week, call back system for today, but what I received is unavailable...SAIT only have instruction to pay, and delay to help students.
I like the building. The interior is amazing, but workers kicked out students from 2nd floor even though it was empty.
As the person below me stated, parking is absurdly expensive, the parking attendants are some of the most rude people you will encounter. The campus itself does not have any guide posts, other than vague maps which are barely readable. …
I went to SAIT many years ago for my welding apprenticeship. The instructors are all very knowledgeable and as far as welders go, friendly. The institute is a great place to further your trade and thanks to SAIT Alberta is recognized worldwide as producing the finest tradesmen of the highest quality and know-how. A real gem in Alberta’s blue collar crown. Keep up the excellent work.
SAIT claims that most of its graduates are guaranteed employment after finishing schooling, that isnt true. SAIT is all about taking your money and offering little to nothing in return. I have a couple of friends who graduated from here years ago and still havent found employment, even though "employment is gauranteed" on the website. Do not attend this school, it is an absolute scam.
Sait will cancel your school whenever they choose due to covid and then make u wait 2 months to get your rent and tuition money back! Why cant a refund be issued instantly to a credit card especially when its someones rent money!!!! The staff at the residence are completely childish and unproffessional!
SAIT is the worst place to be in. Quality of staff not that good, most courses have no mission just to take money from students mainly immigrants. Very bad experience with Ready to teach program. The instructor was so mean
Requesting for a refund and I was informed last November that the process was approved and would take 6 weeks, when I followed up after waiting for 6 weeks, they told me that I need to submit documents and have to go to my bank to get a letter from them. If this was their procedure, why would they not inform the student in the first place? I sent them an email asking the reason why I wasn’t informed and it’s been a week since, I haven’t gotten any response from them. The communication is just so bad. They just take your money but when you have valid reasons for withdrawing your application you would go through hoops just to get your money back.
I wish I could give less stars because this is the worst experience I have ever had at a school. Nobody seems to be responding and I keep sending emails to the school. First of all I bought a textbook from the bookstore which I returned to the bookstore right away before opening the package. Since June I still haven't gotten my refund for the textbook. Secondly my tuition, they sent an email asking me to respond to it or my classes would all be dropped. I responded to the email saying that I can pay for the full tuition as soon as needed. But no response from them and I can't even pay for the tuition because they dropped my courses. This is bs if you guys are going to shut off your phone lines atleast have more people checking emails.
Moved to Calgary to go to SAIT and now “deferred” meaning “cancelled” SAIT has no consideration for their students. They don’t answer my emails to take open studies. I wish SAIT sent an email or letter letting us know they considered bumping students
They never really go the extra mile to help students get in the programs they want. They don’t even email the students if they pass the pre requisites. International students have hard time getting into their programs. Most of their graduates don’t even land a job. I dunno why people are so into this school. Like really, the best????? Where? Plus the fact that there are no real people to talk to you about your concerns during their admissions. It is all done online. Mind you Sait, students are humans, not computers. Put a real person on your contact phone to talk to students. And oh, is there a contact number for customer service?
Beautiful ???????? a lot of building that make SAIT I loved it
I applied to a program at Sait. I have over 20 years experience in the field. Yet staff at Sait tried to convince me to take other courses that cost twice as much and do nothing to benefit my career path. After saying no. I know which course I need and what course I want. Sait staff then denied my application saying I should take the courses I do not need first. After asking if they are running a school or a business. They blocked me and have since refused to respond to my emails or return calls. Shame on Sait. You are a school. Get a different job if your only goal is to make as much money as possible.
I heard that SAIT is a reputable college however whenever I try to contact them SAIT don’t respond and never reply back(regardless of timing) non of their service are good, every time I try to contact them it’s like I’m wasting my precious time. I would rather contact another College who can at least answer and value students time.
when were children, it is not as bad as today, as we know, since ross david be the president, it started dropping, as of today, it concentrated on profits, it’s totally kind of business but not school any more, it’s certainly that it transforms from school to a merchant under CEO the Ross’s inner operation
9 years ago I was student here took financial course at night time because I was full time company some where when is my last course need to be done it suddenly gone which mean no longer offer no matter how much question I have to ask student service, OK FINE! I changed the fact to AutoCad course finish it in 2 years. Employer service department won't help me find a job because only offer full time student. I read your commercial come to upgrade your self i totally spent almost 8000.00 can't find a job it suppose to be after study here!
Is SAIT better for two years " Legal Assistant " diploma?? How far is the chance of employment ensured here after completion of the course ? Is it a right decision to admit here taking two years " Legal assistant Diploma " ?
Lies about hire rates on lots of courses, they didnt drop our classes 99% hire rate until a few of us complained after the course. Field professionals, not instructors. They haven't even taken a crash course on teaching and really dont care about you. Just making money in the off season.
SAIT has given me nothing but grief since day one. No one is willing to take the the time to guide students in the right direction. I would give them a zero if possible, so many glitches in their system and they never respond to emails. The biggest waste of time and money.
Great college with many different buildings to teach a variety of subjects from culinary arts, to nuclear medicine, to business administration. There are a few shops/restaurants/coffee shops on campus (most are closed right now due to covid unfortunately). It's a beautiful campus with an amazing view of downtown. Having its own train station is really handy, and there's a few restaurants, bars, and stores nearby. Great school in general.
I have not received any email for my refund, and as stated, I submitted my refund request on January 27, 2021. And then I called after 8 weeks, the day of March 18, 2021, to ask about my refund because I received no information or email with the e-transfer. During the call, they told me to wait two more weeks, I waited an extra two weeks, and today it's April 12, 2020, I have still not heard of anything regarding my money. It's been 12 weeks in total, and I haven't heard anything. WHY are you guys not giving students their refunds. I do get its e transfer, and it takes a long time but more time than the promised time, plus no one answers from the sait refunds email office or even when you call, it's nonsense. Even when I call, no one has an answers. That's crazy, and this needs to be changed! I will be calling again today to the register. If I do not receive my refund or a particular answer, I will be reporting this problem and further informing others and my peers to be careful with it. THE REFUNDS WAY NEEDS TO BE CHANGED !!!! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!
It's great to be able to do my 4th year in the time of COVID. They are doing as good as a job as you can with having to come for shop time. Online is different but it's working. They are a great school.
Registration was smooth program contact is nice. My book isn't in stock even though class started yesterday and they don't know when it will be. SAIT is great but maybe look elsewhere for course materials
How a government subsidized school gets poor reviews from some people is beyond me. I am incredibly grateful for the experiences I have had at SAIT and thankful to live in a place that offers educational training for a wide variety of people. I have taken a trade training, continuing education, and general interest courses at SAIT. Each one has been marked with professionalism and industry professionals.
Hi,I just wanted to ask if I applied for a course and when i was applying I clicked a course that I don't wanted to take and I paid $120 can I change the course and take the one that I want or I have to pay another $120 fee.I hope someone answers this question of mine.
Starting my second program here in the fall. I have been very happy with my experiences at Sait. The courses offered are relevant and direct. They are very good about offering courses in fields that have a good employment outlook.
Unimpressed with SAIT'S unwillingness to work with students if they so choose to want to do their second year online instead of in person. A student should have the right to their education and the right to doing it in a way that makes them feel the most safe in this 4th wave of covid. Shame on SAIT for telling someone to either put yourself at risk and come to campus or drop out.
I was sooo unimpressed with SAIT for the entire 2 years that I went there. I have family members who have gone there as well and every single one has had major administration issues from being left out of their year book and not receiving a diploma to not having a SAIT account made. I applied to have my transcript sent to another school and it took 5+ months. It took about a month to receive an email back from the school. Not really sure what they were doing in that time. Each response for administrative issues was a simple apology with no action. I had amazingly unprofessional instructors who would forget that we had class, teach for 10 minutes and leave, or rant about politics the whole class instead of teaching. Would not recommend going to this school unless you want to get screwed over.
