Like the glasses. Everything you'd expect. The nose piece hurts after an hour.
The Wow package, with glasses and light, have expanded my ability to do handwork. I use these in the living room while watching TV and I plan to take them camping--both places I love to stitch but that has low light. I think they are great!
Company is very responsive and helpful to make sure I got the best fit possible. Wearing the glasses and magnifying lenses (when needed) really has helped relieve stress in my back.
Yay, I can thread a beading needle easily with my new CraftOptics lenses! I have a complex eyeglass prescription that works really well in my CraftOptics lenses. I had no trouble adjusting to vision distances and doing various beading projects with better posture and far less eye strain. I am still experimenting with different nose bridge adjustments to get the most comfortable fit. My new CraftOptics lenses are making a huge difference in creating detailed art projects.
This is a total game changer! You can see everything! I can't say enough about them. The glasses & light beam are just amazing. I love them and will recommend them to anyone. The company is just awesome. They are very helpful and really do care that you get a great product. If you sew or do intricate needlework like I do this is a must have. I am very happy with them.
I ordered magnifying loops with light and I’m very happy with them. One of the most professional companies I dealt with. They helped me in choosing the right product. They promptly and professionally answered all my questions and they also went an extra mile to help with , completely unrelated , shipping delays.. They deserve fully 5 stars..
I have had a pair of CraftOptics for a while now. They have made a huge difference in my quilting. I use them for the actual quilting process, binding, applique and even (gasp) when I have to rip out my quilting. Truly one of the best purchases I have ever made. No affiliation just a happy customer!
The company is the best at what they do. For years I struggled to see my work when stitching and beading. I finally got the set of glasses and light beam and wished I hadn't waited so long!!! I recently had my prescription changed, and they were able to quickly get the new Rx to me for under $100.00! Last weekend, my light beam started to fail due to a possible short in the wire connecting it to the power pack. Today a whole new beam and power pack are being delivered free of charge! They said the new wire should not have this problem, and they are providing the whole set so that everything fits together properly! I just have to send the old set back with a prepaid label that will be in the delivery! These folks know what they are doing! They do it very well! I recommend them to everyone I know!!!
I love my CraftOptics! I've had vision problems all my life, and I have very poor eyesight, but I can do detailed, fine needlework with these - and I can easily carry them wherever I go. Love their portability, the lighting option, and the excellent magnification they provide. And their customer service is superb!
I have been a customer for several years. I upgraded my light about 1 1/2 years ago and recently had a problem with it (working intermittently). I contacted the company and they immediately sent a replacement light at no charge and without any hassles at all. I was very impressed!! They stand by their products and I highly recommend this company.
I was hesitant to purchase these glasses due to cost. After receiving my glasses I can honestly say they are worth every penny. I am able to see my needlepoint stitches much better and see places that I may of missed. I have a friend who was hesitant on the cost and opted to purchase a more economical brand from Amazon once they arrived it was so reassuring to see the lack of quality in that pair vs my craft optics!! I think she will be returning the Amazon pair and buying CraftOptics. I will keep you posted.
I couldn't be happier with my purchase! Don't let the price stop you... these glasses with the magnification/light has been a game changer & worth every penny. The customer service is EXCELLENT. I do a lot of cross stitching and even with an OTT light over my shoulder those tiny stitches were getting more difficult to see. These glasses have made all the difference. I also can't share enough of how patient, genuinely nice & knowledgeable the people I have spoken with at CraftOptics have been. You will NOT be disappointed... you will just wish you had ordered sooner.
I got my craft optics earlier this year and they really have been a game changer at my work bench. I’ve been a goldsmith for 25 years and feel like these glasses have allowed me to see things now that make me feel like I was doing them blind and in the dark before. The light is really helpful when I need it and pretty easy to take off when I don’t.
With all the close work that I do (beading, alterations, and needlepoint), I finally realized that magnification would be extremely helpful. I bought the CraftOptics glasses with light, and after an initial period of getting used to the feel of the glasses, I now find that I quickly switch to them if I start working with with my normal glasses. With beading, it's like I'm working with a larger size bead because I can see them so much better! I do find the light helpful, but since I do have a good lamp when I bead, I took off the CraftOptics light so that the glasses would be lighter in weight. That helped me bead longer. But with my other crafts, the light will be most welcome regardless of the fact that it does add weight and more time to get "plugged in".
I bought the glasses , primarily, because I like gadgets. I have forgotten the lady's name at the CraftOptics office but she was genuinely helpful with all of my questions. I received the glasses in a few weeks time and after using them for a day or two I thought "These are okay and I shall continue to use them." Skip forward a few weeks and I think "I can't live without them." The quality is very nice and I would buy them again.
Worth the investment in every way! I can bead longer with my CraftOptics! I highly recommend this company and their product!
I could just kick myself for waiting so long to purchase mine. They are truly a godsend. I was able to do needleturn applique which I have not been able to do for many years. The true test for me was when I needed to rip black stitches from black fabric. I could see the tiny 1.5 stitches. They are worth every penny and more as far as I am concerned.
This is the most amazing product and company! I work on very detailed, small craft objects. The combination of the magnifiers, my reading glasses prescription and the light makes more difference than I would have believed possible. Wearing CraftOptics, I have been able to do things I haven't been able to do for about 10 years. I thought I was losing eye-to-hand coordination but it turned out that I just needed to see better. And now I do! Worth every penny.
I am enjoying my new Craft Optics magnifiers with light. I’m working on projects now that I haven’t been able to do for years. Thank you!!
Super customer service! Love my Craftoptics!
I love my glasses! Beading is so much easier and enjoyable since I bought them. I highly recommend them. You won’t be disappointed!!!
Great having something that helps me see up close while sewing and quilting. The light really helps also. I would highly recommend the Craftoptics.
What a great new tool. So light and easy to wear. They were really easy to get used to and make close embroidery work much more fun!
I absolutely love my CraftOptics glasses. They have enabled me to enjoy needlework again! Yes, they were somewhat expensive, but I use them nearly every night and have something to show from my evening hours instead of surfing the net or watching TV. Their patient staff guided me through the selection process over the phone and made sure that I was ordering the best set for my needs. I added the lighting feature and have been impressed by the battery life. I wish the AC adaptor cord used for charging was longer so that I could plug them in while stitching. The reasonable fee for changing the prescription of my lenses down the road was also a factor in my decision to invest in a set.
Love my Craft Optics glasses, magnifiers and light! I do a lot of hand embroidery and I'll never be without a magnifier and light again - these are so portable. Great customer service! I highly recommend Craft Optics!!
I honestly didn't realize what a difference CraftOptics was in my needlepoint -- no more magnifying glasses with a minor's light for me! I found myself less tired , I did not realize that I had been stitching for 4 hours straight. The good/bad side was I easily saw where I had missed stitches in my work; my stitching friends want me to check their work before they have their needlepoint finished. Now when someone looks at me stitching I automatically go into my commercial about CraftOptics; they are really not much more than a pair of prescription eye glasses.
My Craftoptics were purchased several years ago, but they were a huge help for me. Actually my late husband bought them as a gift for me. He passed unexpectedly and very suddenly 3 years ago. He always supported my crafts. I teach Traditional Hawaiian appliqué and quilting as well as beginning knitting at our beautiful Senior Center In Central Park, Huntington Beach, CA. Have done so for just over 2 years now. The detail work I do is made much easier by these loupes paired with my Rx. I was impressed with the quality and care of this company. They arrived quickly after I ordered and are extremely comfortable and practical. My students giggle a bit when I put them on, but they definitely appreciate the detail work I can do when I use them. I also sew, quilt, crochet, embroider, and do other handwork. This product has made all of these crafts much easier.
Love my CraftOptics with light. It is so nice to see my embroidery stitches without eye strain. Customer service was wonderful to work with.
I love these glasses!!!! I don't know how I ever did the detail work that I do before I got them. The light is a must have, no more fussing with a stand alone light. I Even use them when I'm knitting socks I can finally see the wrapped stitches in the heel. I've tried the headset magnifiers and they are junk compared to these glasses. I can't say enough good about them, and their customer service is great too.
These are a game changer in micro crafting. I can actually see what I'm doing. The staff was amazing asking questions and confirming the order.
These optics were exactly what I wanted. The frames are lightweight but sturdy, the magnification is where it should be, the light brilliantly illuminates my project, and the rechargeable battery makes them portable. The customer service is terrific. My annual eye exam was 6 weeks after I ordered my glasses (I took advantage of a special sale), CraftOptics contacted the optometrist office for the prescription and created my glasses specifically for me. The staff followed up with me 6 weeks later to be certain my experience was trouble free. I highly recommend investing in these optics and this company.
Best purchase I made in 2020 & worth every penny. My hand-sewing has improved to competition level now that I can easily see my work. And better yet, I can sit & sew anywhere without seeking out the brightest lamps to curl under for better vision. Although expensive, these are well worth the investment !! Highly recommend and would purchase again in a nanosecond.
I purchased my CraftOptics about two and a half years ago. I have been doing counted cross stitch for over twenty-five years. I wear bifocals and even though my prescription was changed, I had difficulty seeing without a magnifying glass and bright light. It became so cumbersome that I nearly gave up needlework. My daughter and I were at a show for miniatures and stopped at the CraftOptics display. They were amazing. I ordered a pair with the magnifying lenses and the attached light. I love my CraftOptics. I am able to enjoy cross stitch again.
I had been looking at these for years and was skeptical about the spending the money. Now that I have them I feel that they are priceless. The clarity and ease of using is incredible. Would recommend them to anyone.
My only regret is not placing an order years ago! Working on my crafts and sewing projects are so much more enjoyable using my CraftOptics glasses. They were a terrific purchase for me. The product and the customer service were truly wonderful. They answered all of my questions and the delivery was fast. I would most definitely recommend CraftOptics to my family and friends. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again! Thanks so much! Rita Williams
The product is exactly as described and promised. I have had several followup emails to make sure I did not need support. I sit in bed at night now and do fine paper piecing while listening to audio books, and I can see what i am doing! This was something I could not do before, no matter how much light i had to work with. I waited a long time to order this set and really thought about whether I needed to or not. I have found it to be a wonderful and indispensable addition to the creative side of my life.
I am absolutely thrilled with my new Craft Optics glasses. They have made a HUGE difference when working on my needlework. My only regret is that I waited so long to buy them. I also need to commend the folks at Craft Optics who helped me. They were all a delight to work with. I’m a very happy customer. They are well worth the money.
Took a little adjustment, I have close set eyes and I couldn't get them to seeing one image. Top notch customer service to the rescue, a lot of patience required on their part with me, and she was. They work exactly the way they are designed to so "I can see Clearly now" with all my tiny textile work I do. At 72 you have added many years to my creative life. Very grateful!
I love my CraftOptics and use them daily in my jewelry business for soldering and any close up work. Couldn’t do my job without them.
I have a difficult prescription and they managed to get it right. Now I can do needlepoint and jewelry projects that I haven't been able to do in YEARS. Customer service was excellent as well.
Craft Optics magnifying glasses are fantastic! I thought I was going to have to give up sewing and embroidering because I could no longer see well enough close up. The ordering process was very easy and the glasses arrived in a timely manner. The adjustment time was minimal and customer service is top notch. I highly recommend these glasses and wish I had ordered them the first time I saw them at Sew Expo.
I love my new CraftOptics glasses. I wish I had bought them sooner. The magnification is wonderful and the light is the greatest. I've tried them without the light and realize the light is truly the iceing on the cake and I couldn't do without it.
I purchased my CraftOptics with light during the Pacific International Quilt Show at Santa Clara, CA in 2019. Not certain at the time what all I would use it on, I knew that it would be helpful for many applications. Well, my usage has exceeded my expectations. I used it to repair an old mechanical clock, soldered very fine wiring - twice, found faint inspection and acceptance marks on antiques, oiled my wife's sewing machine and also repaired a 1919 mechanical adding machine that needed a lot of work. It will soon be used to in repairing and oiling my old American Flyer toy trains as well. I simply could not have done these things well, if at all, without my CraftOptics including the light option. The potential uses are endless, and this has been an excellent investment in my hobby of repairing and maintaining various mechanical objects that my wife and I use. Regarding the light option, I have to say that gone are the annoying shadows that used to irritate me when trying to get adequate light on small or recessed parts. What an improvement over the use of multiple lights to try to eliminate shadows, often unsuccessfully. I do recommend CraftOptics.
I haven't been able to do the painting I enjoy because my eyesight isn't clear enough. These loupes/glasses help me to see the detail I missed. I like that I can flip the lenses up as needed for mixing paint or choosing the next brush I want to use.
My Craft Optics glasses have made a world of difference in my fly tying. I can now clearly, easily and comfortably see the smallest of hooks I tie on, which was not the case using simple readers. I regret I didn't discover Craft Optics years ago.
I purchased a pair of craft optics after suggestions, by 2 well known jewelers I follow and have studied with, claimed they were superior to any other optics. I have and Optivisor, and tried 2 other optic devices from Amazon. Though all were less expensive they lacked in clarity and comfort. I only wished I had made the investment earlier. You definitely get what you pay for, and CraftOptics are worth every dime! I am saving far more in Silver by less errors because I see better, and vision is priceless. Protect yours. Buy these they will make you smile.
My biggest regret is not getting Craftoptics glasses soon. Love my Craftoptic and I actually purchased two pairs, one for handworks and the second for longarm. The customer service is outstanding, very helpful and friendly.
Love this product. I'm a quilt artist who uses paints to create art quilts. I was having difficulties painting details due to an old injury to my neck. I couldn't get close enough to paint the details without putting a strain on my back and neck. With these glasses I can sit up straight and see the details. In addition the light really highlights the area I need to see. One of the best purchases I've made for my craft.
Great product, I use mine for cross-stitching and they're a lifesaver. So much easier than trying to maneuver a magnifying lamp (and I did try four different ones before I found CraftOptics). The best part of the experience was the ordering process. I used an HSA card along with my credit card and was unable to enter two separate forms of payment online. I called in and spoke with an actual employee of the company - not a third party answering service! She was so friendly and helpful and they followed up after the sale by communicating where my order was in the process. I don't wear glasses but they do offer prescription and you can send them in to get the prescription changed if your eyesight changes. Overall, I cannot praise the product or the company enough. These are on the pricy side but for me it was well worth the splurge. If you decide to order based on this review please feel free to enter my name as a referral on the order form and you'll get a $25 discount!
I am so pleased with these glasses! They truly are as advertised and have made embroidery enjoyable for me again as I can actually see what I am doing. I got used to working with them very quickly. They are light weight and because they have my actual prescription in them I do not have to take them off to read the pattern or look at something further away. The combination if my prescription, magnification and light is brilliant. The order orocess was easy and they came quickly. No trouble getting them over the border to Canada. I am very satisfied!
