Alicia was very dedicated towards helping me find the perfect frames. It took me almost two hours but she was very patient and honest with me. All the staff at Hakim are very welcoming and helpful. They are quick and efficient and I would recommend them to anyone.

My glasses went through my robot vacuum and were completely ruined and useless. After consulting another optometry shop locally, and told it could be a 2-3 week wait I was recommended to check Hakim as they have an in house lab. I was not disappointed! Even during a pandemic, the staff was courteous and on the ball. My lenses were in stock and at a very fair price I got my glasses fixed in 30 minutes! I will never go anywhere else for my eye wear needs and I highly recommend Hakim Optical on Lasalle! Best service hands down. Thank you!

The staff and opticians were all beyond professional, patient, welcoming, supportive and genuinely kind. I am heavily impressed, especially when comparing to LensCrafters (which is shriekingly horrid, at least the one in the Sudbury mall). I was able to price match and order the same frames (I think it was way cheaper too), and Hakim did it so much better, with no fuss at all, and in a timely and pleasant manner. My parents loved it here too, it even began to feel like staff were our best friends. This was never my top choice for Sudbury, but it definitely is my go to now. So so incredibly pleased!!

The lady helping my mom and I was ignorant and made us feel like we were burdening her by asking for help (as if thats not her job). We came in because my mothers glasses broke after only having them for 2 months and wanted them fixed/replaced which was covered by the warranty. Perhaps we were treated poorly because we weren’t in to spend any more money.

My name is Robert. I had an unfortunate incident happen with my glasses. I went to Hakim Optical in Sudbury. The lady behind counter was very friendly and courteous. Fixed my glasses in minutes FREE OF CHARGE. WOULD NOT ACCEPT A TIP. I live out of town. I would strongly recommend if you have a problem or need glasses. Go to HAKIM OPTICAL in SUDBURY. Thanks to the receptionist fixing my glasses.

My father has his eyes examined here and purchased glasses. He later decided to get glasses somewhere else and phoned Hakim Optical to get his prescription. He was told that he could not have the prescription, as the exam fee paid for his exam but not the release of the prescription. He was told that they did not release prescriptions, as they did not want people buying glasses off the internet. This is a complete fabrication, as an exam and subsequent prescription are part of a medical record, which is the property of the patient. He believed them and would have continued to do so if I hadn't pointed out that they were lying to him. These people were trying to gouge an older gentlemen who trusted that they would be honest with him and tried to force him into continuing to buy glasses only from their establishment. When I phoned and pointed this lie out and also explained that you can clearly read on the Opticians Association of Canada that the prescription belongs to the client/patient the were suddenly able to release it. They are crooks who lie to customers as a way of forcing them into spending money in their office. They should be ashamed of themselves for trying to take advantage of those who trust them.
