I tried to purchase ink for my printer. $76.99 for the HP63 Black and Tri-colour ink cartridges (not the XL). The exact same product at Staples is $58.99. Not sure how you can charge nearly $20 more when your stores are like, 100ft from each other. That being said, wonderful staff.

Great place to go and get any sort of electronics that you may be itching for... great return policies, staff is helpful (most of the time... when you can find them!) and they almost always have what I'm looking for in-stock. I have always came to either Best Buy or the now defunct "FutureShop" to purchase my Xbox consoles, and their warranties have always been worth it. I highly recommend coming here to get your electronics!

Tried multiple times to give them our money. Couldn't find anyone to help, asked multiple people for assistance and they passed me off to someone who never did show up, on two separate visits, Was quite frustrating as this happened twice in a row, both of which where the store simply wasn't busy enough to warrant it. Went in to Best Buy to look at the printers and noticed that me and my 2 friends weren't just being watched but stared at very uncomfortably by all of the employees. We weren’t sure what we did wrong so we asked why they were following us and the manager said it was for if we needed any help. We felt uncomfortable so we left. We came back to complain and the manager told us the real reason to why she had her employees surround us. She said that since we are teenagers she thinks that we could stuff a tv up our shirts and leave with it.. didn’t even apologize. They lost my business.

Good experience, I was helped out fairly quickly. Typical Vernon small store problems; lots of sold out items or items they don't stock that they do at most other Best Buy/big electronic stores. But one amazing thing about Best Buy that will always keep.mr coming back for most electronic and other purchases is their return policy. 14-30 day open box return policy depending on the item is awesome! I have tried out cellphones only to take them back and exchange them more than once until I found something I liked, as well recently bought a GoPro and used it for a few days and realized it wasn't enough and needed to upgrade to a better model GoPro and as always had no issue when came time to exchange it! Both times it was the staff at Best Buy that encouraged me to use the 14 day return period as a trial time to see if the product was what I needed. Most stores wouldn't dream of such a thing.

About two years ago I brought my laptop in to get fixed using the geek squad warranty that I purchased for $400+ the cost of the laptop. I brought my laptop in after a month of usage to look at a corner that was popped out and light was leaking from it. At that point the geek squad people said it was nothing, even though we showed them that there was light coming from the corner and pressure on the screen. Fast forward to today. The corner is now damage from the pressure, popped out and the laptop cannot close. The frame is now getting warped from being in this position and getting anyone else to fix it would void my warranty - that being said I would say best buy voided it themselves by not even taking the laptop in to look at it. Safe to say I won't be getting that warranty again seeing as the employees are too lazy to do their job and investigate actual problems with laptops. From simply needing a new clip to needing a brand new frame, I think they are a little more reactive than proactive. Edit: they took the laptop in finally and everything was fixed quickly with no problems.

best buy I don't hate you..but I went to best buy to get my computer repair from geek squad. I had to pay 220 for a hard drive replacement. I order it a week before Christmas they said could take 2-3 week.I receive a phone call first week off January and was told it hasn't been work on yet. I was told I would have to pay a addition fee if I wanted them to fix it. I said ok I waited this long, and so I can wait a bit longer. So I than Recieved my computer last week of January. When it arrived The worker didn't know how to do paper work. The paperwork was badly done they said they pulled out a sheet off paper and the cost would be over 750 dollar. They had to call a manager to tell them that the laptop was not an apple product so it cost 350. When it was all set and done I had to pay over 400 dollar for a simple HDD replacement. Also they told me that my old HDD was unusable but it work fine when I gave it in. The random blue screen once a week. they didn't give me back my sdd hardrive My old HDD was worth more than the 400 I payed. Lesson learned suffer the blue screen or do it your self.. I totally felt like they stole from me after this experience. Never going to geek squad again.

I was having difficulties obtaining a shipping label from the Geek Squad customer service phone line. I was on the phone multiple times a day trying to resolve the issue. Thankfully when I arrived to 1099 Marcus Drive, Erick from the Geek Squad and the other staff members Erin and Dayton were extremely helpful and understanding with my situation. It's a clean store, with spacious aisles, and they're doing a good job of promoting their higher-end merchandise such as 4K televisions and immersive audio experiences. The staff are quite helpful--I suspect to help stave off boredom, as I've never seen the place particularly busy--without being pushy. And their customer service is excellent: I've never had a problem with returns or exchanges.

They are ok, they took the effort to find what I needed, I went in when it was early and had way to many employees ask me if I needed help, I swear walked across the store and was asked by everyone in every dept, I was even asked on the way back to the till by the same person twice, I find it kinda amusing considering I work in law enforcement and knew I didn't look like a undesirable, but really :) Nothing wrong with being helpful, but how about wait a few minutes before asking if they need anything or until the person comes up to you for help. As for the store, decent layout, ok lighting parking is fine, but really I'm not joking about above.

If I could rate this visit as minus one I would. I needed warranty on my wireless mouse that came with my wireless keyboard. Best Buy emailed me a copy of my receipt at time of purchase yet they couldn't find this info today. So I was told no warranty on my Logitech wireless mouse. I won't go back to Best Buy as they don't warranty that they sell. I've bought a lot of products here but never again!

Went to best but to purchase a laptop. For some reason they don't hold very much stock so I had to order my laptop online to be shipped to my house. Even tho ordering from online, they only had 1 colour available of the 5 they supposedly offer. The original arrival date was to be August 4th but UPS doesn't deliver if you have a box number, so they kept it. I had to call UPS to give them a second location to deliver it too. I feel like best buy coulda told me it would be easier to have it shipped to their location and I can pick it up from there. The person who sold me the laptop also got my email wrong even tho I corrected it when I double checked. Had to call to get that sorted out, again, so I can get my tracking number. Thumbs down.

I have used Futureshop/Bestbuy over the years for many purchases. I go in knowing exactly what I want & if they have it in stock already. Everything from Appliances to car audio to video games, they have a little bit of everything, but not every brand/model. The few times I have had questions to ask, the employees have been able to answer my question, or inform me that they weren't sure about that specific product. The great thing is that I have had to return things in the past, either because they didn't meet my expectations, or I found cheaper elsewhere & I have never had a hassle. Very top notch. Also had an extended warranty on my iPod & they repaired it to my satisfaction.

They couldn't fix my laptop that was under warranty so I had to get a replacement one. They gave me a salesman in training who didn't know what he was doing and I had to tell him the same information literally 10 times. To top it off I had to pay almost as much money to replace the computer as I bought it for, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY. Not very happy, and never dealing with best buy again, what a figgin rip off.

Example: one had a 500g hard drive and the other had a terabyte all other specs were the same. price difference was 3 times the price of just buying a terabyte hard drive. was getting warranty work done to my computer, it had to be sent off, not a problem, but I asked them not to wipe clean my original setup when I bought the laptop, but sure enough they did,they apologized, I used to have no ads or pop ups, now its constant, and slowing it down drastically. Do not get a screen protector from geek squad. I got a screen protector done at geek squad and it was not the right one for my phone and I went back and told them that its the wrong screen protector and they said they will put a new one on but they didn't they just took the old one of and gave me my phone back with no screen protector on it and so i was so fed in the end i went back a 3rd time for a refund and finally a guy that actually cared took care of me and put the right one on. but it should not take them 3 times to put on a right screen protector when i told them what phone and they should check their work before it goes out to the customer.

We purchased a TV from the store (in Sudbury, ON) on November 4th (paid over $1600). We paid for delivery and were told the TV would be delivered on November 5th. We waited all day for the TV... no delivery, no phone call, nothing. Tried calling the store, impossible to get through to the store. Spoke with online customer service. They cannot find the TV, they have no idea why it's not delivered, when it will be delivered, if it is even still in the store. Finally spoke with someone in customer service who will try to contact the manager of the store and have this person contact us... We've been waiting hours. Still nothing. This is essentially theft.

Easy to get what I wanted. HOWEVER, what I bought didn't work from the start. Games wouldn't work properly if at all so finally decided to bring it to geek squad. DO NOT BUY the geek squad protection on anything. I paid for three years of geek squad protection but inside of a year I was informed by best buy employees and geek squad online that it's a manufacturer problem and I would have to deal with them. Here's the problem. Bestbuy sold me a protection plan that is good between 2019-2022. Having said that, they require you to deal with the manufacturer, in this case Microsoft, during the first year essentially RIPPING PEOPLE OFF of at least one year of service. I understand it's not an extended warranty and sometimes companies like microsoft require units to be serviced by them under their limited warranty. BUT, best buy is knowingly ripping people off and I know this because all of the employees I interacted with agreed with my claims. One tried to help me but in the Sudbury location management is lacking, at lest when I called. I encourage people to never buy geek squad protection and buy from Costco or direct from manufacturers because the return policies are way better. And when I went into the store a few minutes ago, I counted 11 employees and four customers including myself and nobody from the store asked me if I needed anything. They were to busy looking at their cell phones and even playing games on them. Again management was missing. Nothing against the people working here but it reflects poorly on management if this was how they were trained

There I was, standing in the Vernon Best Buy customer service lineup, Garmin GPS smartwatch in hand. The smell of new phones and gadgets meets my nostrils as I glance around the store. After a couple of minutes, It's my turn to speak to an employee. So unsure of what was about to happen, I stepped forward. "Hey, how can I help you?" The employee asked me. "Hi," I replied. "I bought this watch a couple of days ago and am hoping to return it for store credit." "Alright sounds good," The man said before turning toward the register, (no doubt to activate the pin pad.) "Don't get me wrong, I love the watch and it's really great, but the reason I got it was to communicate with my parents, and the watch didn't have the features I thought it would." "No worries." He replied, gesturing toward the pin pad. Then it hits me. "Wait, the money's going right back on my card?" "Yup." He answered simply. Strange. I thought to myself, last time I tried to return something here I only got store credit for it, and it was quite the hassle... He hasn't even opened up the box yet to make sure the watch is in there. -Which it was- Then he asks me for my signature on the pin pad. After I write it, he prints off a seconds receipt and hands it to me along with my original. "Wait," I asked, I can just spend the money on anything I want outside the store?" -235 bucks- "Yup, you could spend it all on McDonald's cheeseburgers if you want." His answer caught me off guard a little, which made me laugh. "Thanks, man, I'll see you around," I said before walking off. Anyway, the moral of the story is, I currently work in a customer service role at Splashdown water park and understand the importance of good customer service, and also understand how much of an impact customers' attitudes can have on your day. Out of the last ten trips I made the past two months, only three times did this store have the product I wanted in stock. They will not sell demo units. - Staff. Its great to have a lot of staff, but when you get asked if you need help every two minutes - it gets frustrating - Geek Squad. I would do a simple Google search on why the Geek Squad should never be trusted. They provided false information to my brother in law which would have cost him $80 when no actual new part on his laptop was required.

I ordered from bestbuy because their order estimate said it could arrive as early as the next day which implies that they will be using 1 day shipping, which is conceivable for an $800 item. After ordering I waited a day and contacted a CSR to see where it was and all they could tell me is that it was not shipped and I couldn't cancel the order because it was too far along in their system. It took 2 more days to ship and the delivery date is 7 days out from the date of shipping... I could have ordered from Amazon and had it 7 days quicker and $30 cheaper. If bestbuy cant give me good customer service, prices or a quick delivery then why would I ever choose them over Amazon again? And now that I have told you their trick of giving you a quick shipping estimate to lure you in and then not allowing you to cancel once their lie has be exposed, why would you order from them either? This is a review of their online system no brick and mortar bestbuy in particular.

The staff sold us a set of headphones insisting that they were multi-point. Took them home only to find out that they weren't. Tried to return them, they would only do an exchange because they were earbuds. We exchanged them for another set that the staff, once again, guaranteed were multi point. Big surprise, they weren't. Went to London Drugs and the staff were incredibly helpful, got us the right set immediately. Tried to return the second set that "Best" Buy sold us, NOT ear buds, and they were extraordinarily rude and wouldn't refund us. We had to fight to get store credit (like we want to go back there now?). Definitely wouldn't recommend, spend your money somewhere that appreciates it!

You see the place from outside. It's large and imposing- typical of large technology stores. You enter and see a large swathe of stuff. There's a greeter, and you wonder why- it's nice, but feels unnecessary. In any case, you expect marked up prices typical of a store like this, and for the most part, that's what you get...but it's not atypical. There isn't anything blaringly wrong, and that's good enough for you.

Well I attempted to purchase at a local store instead of from Amazon. Galaxy buds plus are on their site for 149 and 200 in your store. Your staff refused to price match because my item was only shipped by Amazon. You shoukd study this policy. I bought a tv recently and decided it was too big for my room. A hassle-free return. No questions asked. Just friendly guys unloading the old, and loading the new. I didn't even have to try to stuff the tv back in the box. I was told to just put the box in my car, put my tv in a blanket, and bring everything on back. Best Buy took care of the rest! I'll start by saying the staff here is generally very good, if not excellent, and are willing to help while being fairly knowledgeable. The only real issue I've had at my local Best Buy is that the stock can run short/low somewhat regularly and the prices are a little higher than available elsewhere; but Price Matching is always an option and one I use most of the time when shopping here. I say shop comparatively online and get that price match to support the high quality employees that work at this local store.

Mixed experience. Sometimes I go and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They help me find everything that I am looking for, help me compare different products, and make recommendations based on personal experience. This is great. The less than great came when I tried to return a failed usb stick. I had lost the receipt, had only used it two or three times before it became unreadable by any computer, Mac or PC. They wouldn't take it back. There is something to be said for companies like Walmart or Costco that will take back any of their products basically no questions asked. The sales associate wouldn't take it back, give a store credit, or exchange it, even though they had the identical ones still hanging on the shelves. A bit more compassion for the consumer would be nice.

This feedback is to show some gratitude to Josh G., an employee with Best Buy, in Vernon, B.C., who went above and beyond to assist us in locating the correct dash cam and completing the transaction. Josh was friendly, approachable, and very knowledgeable on all things related to electronic devices in general, and dash cams in particular. We had an issue which required the store manager's approval, and Josh took the initiative to speak with the store manager and explain our situation. Although the rest of the staff at the Vernon store were not very understanding with our situation, Josh was the single bright light that compensated for their poor customer service, or lack thereof. Josh managed to resolve the issue and we left the store satisfied that we received the right product, but more importantly that our needs were addressed appropriately. While professional and respectful service is an expensive commodity during these uncertain times, Josh is a prime example of how important it is to still do the little things that go a long way in retail customer service.

I was able to purchase the unlocked Pixel 3a at Best buy. They were busy at the time but the customer service was great and helpful. There was lots of parking close by. Highly recommend going to Best Buy if you're looking to buy a unlocked phone with no contract. So you're able to choose more freely what type of phone plan you want with out getting stuck in a plan. Future Shop to me is so much akin to my experience at Target Stores. It is the blah of electronics. It is expensive! You will not get a deal ever. I wish I could say something more positive but is is a lame electronics store. I have made maybe five purchases since it opened. All items went back due to defects with the exception of one desktop. After one month it had issues. I had to pay $40.00 to have it shipped to Acer to replace the drive and it still has a problem. Reminded me of service in the 60's! So unless Future Shop makes some effort to to increase the quality of its products and prices I would give you a year in Sydney to lose more money and finally close. You really need to make some BIG changes to succeed. Hope you do of course and remain in our market. Meeting the competition's lowest prices does not cut it. A lineup at the returns desk does not cut it.

I want to start by saying I've spent close to $6000 on the home theatre system for my upstairs living room at this Sudbury branch in a little over the past year. When it comes time to do my downstairs living room I'll be shopping elsewhere. I've had many issues with the customer service at this branch. I've wandered around the isles on more than a few occasions looking for a sales rep for help and the place was a ghost town. Only later would I find a gaggle of reps gathered in one area having what could only be described as social hour. When one was asked to help they acted as if I was asking the world of them. Once they dealt with my 1st question they started to walk away. I'm not kidding. This kid acted like I was keeping him from a hot date. Add to this the fact that anytime I've had to call this store nobody ever answers the phone. I can't count how many times I've spent more than a half hour trying to get through. Now I do want to mention that there is one exception to the atrocious service at this branch and that's Ryan (sorry Ryan I forget your last name). I think he's an asst manager or a department head or something along those lines. He sold me my stereo receiver. He was completely thorough and helpful. But I shouldn't have to drop nearly $1200 on a stereo receiver and speaker accessories to get good customer service. It should be the same when I go in for a $20 charger for my phone for Christ sakes. This store really needs to shape up or I'm sure I'm not the only customer they're going to lose. The only reason this review was given 2 stars instead of 1 is entirely because of the professional attitude and effort shown by Ryan. Best Buy Sudbury could use many more of you Ryan.

Went to this store on my birthday seen online there was a 55 inch tv for 299. On sale. And then one of the guys that works there says ohh were out. But come back Tom and ask for me cause I'm working 3-9 and I will help u get a t.v for that price or similar. So I went In the next day and the guy wasn't working. So I spoke with another guy and he said they had a t.v but there was only one left then told me and my mom to wait till he found it. 15 mins later he comes out and says he can't find it. I hate boxing day shopping. Too many people too little staff, tempers are high and stock is low. I was waiting for a Tv for 20 minutes. Now that seems bad but i wasn't running around looking for someone to help, they knew I was waiting and helped me out as soon as they were done with the other people waiting long before me. They didn't forget about me. Steve helped me and my mom get her a new TV, he was fast, easy to talk to and knew everything we asked. Tristan, this guy knows everything there is but more so he knows exactly what you need, if I know anyone needing anything I'll be sending them to Tristan. Lastly, Matt is the kind of guy that is able to make you laugh and forget that your shopping at such a hair pulling time. These guys took good care of us, there easy to deal with and I am comfortable coming back to this best buy time and time again. As well as sending anyone else I know who could use a hand.

I visited best buy this evening for a new headphone. I am satisfied with the quality of the headphone, but not the service here. When I asked if I can return the headphone if it has any problems, the staff said it only can return when the box is not open yet ???? then I asked for a bag, he said they don't usually give bag, if I want a bag, I have to pay 50 cents. It's not much, but the main problem here is the staff bad attitude since the beginning, even I did nothing wrong with him. Really upset with this experience.

Most friendly staff of the Best Buys I have been to. There is always someone available for questions. We've made a number of large purchases from this location and could not have been happier I also purchased the Geek Squad monthly service for the previous 12 months but as an IT person, it didnt add much value for me. This is something the older generations could utilize. I did have a free installation for the TV I had purchased and the guys that did this were excellent. Mounting above the fireplace in older brick can be tricky but these guys were awesome.

Y'know Best Buy Future Shop is good because they don't answer their phones due to Covid (Yeah try calling any Best Buy, you get told to go to their website) and have reduced hours in Nova Scotia even though we've only had max 6 cases in the last 6 months. Apparently Covid morphed so horribly that you can catch it through phones. Nothing available instore, ALL has to be ordered online. Terrible company. one star. Maybe Futureshop shouldn't of merged with Best Buy and fired 700+ employees in 2015. Best Buy itself is horrid. Before this 2015 merge I bought a overpriced Pc at Staples in 2013 because I thought it would be cheaper then Futureshop, turns out the Pc I bought didn't even have a Motherboard that could have video cards put in it and I paid over $800 for that pc in 2013 which is ALOT today let alone back in 2013. Oh but it gets better! In around 2015/2016 after having to buy another motherboard at Futureshop (SURPRISE that also had to be ordered online and took over a week to get!) which was $150 just so I could get video cards placed into my Pc I got a 750ti for around $150 at Staples then got the guy at Staples to put it in my Pc, (which I paid around $40 for him to do so), didn't place the card in correctly and a few months later my Pc wouldn't turn on, I took it to a Pc shop we used to have here in Reserve Mines called the Web Beach (Also a terrible store and no longer exists), they told me that the 750ti fell out of the slot it was placed in, which meant that the serviceguy at Staples half arsed it in and did a half job. So the guy at Webbeach placed the card back in and charged me nothing for it. (one of the only good things I could say about Web Beach). I wish there was a negative rating because aside from a few good guys at Geeksquad I couldn't rate this low enough!!!!!

I like shopping there occasionally when I know what I need. I noticed yesterday that their stock is very low of most of the products... their prices are also too high compared to the same online. The store is always clean and the staff are nice. It has accessible doors and clean washrooms with handicapped ones. We got our screen protectors installed yesterday for the phones. They did good job with my I phone but my husband’s didn’t go that well and he had them redo it. There is a huge parking lot for the plaza and we most of the time find spots easily except for before Christmas as all other stores.

We only went in to look around and kill time before work. The staff is pretty involved and enthusiastic. We ended up purchasing an Alexa Echo and a group of staff chatted with us about the purchase telling us how fun they are and funny things to ask. They also let us know about the things it can control like lights and security cameras. I was very impressed to know how much they knew about the specific product I was buying and it helped me feel confident about my purchase knowing that so many of the employees knew and use it daily.

Best place to get your electronics. I have bought a couple of computers, monitors, accessories, electronics, cell cases, camera lenses, hard drives and other things over the last couple years. They have the best prices in town. If they don't have what I need in store, orders placed online arrive in a few days. Best part is they now accept PayPal. The only problem is that when you go in the store, you are bombarded with staff overly eager to help you. Some people may like this, but I don't. I find it quite irritating.

Don't shop here. The Manager of the store does not follow company policy for price matching. The item I wanted was in-stock online at another retailer and they said they couldn't price match because it was below cost. I called their head office and they advised that the Manager should have priced matched the item. I then had to order it online and then requested a price match over the phone without an issue.I will definitely avoid this specific store going forward and share my horrible experience with friends and family.

The staff is pretty friendly and helpful. Used this location to get a new cellphone while I was visiting family. The guy working the phone section really helped me get the best value plan/trade in/etc. One thing of note, their phone number didn't seem to work; whether dialing from the number on the website or Google search. I've been to this BestBuy a few times and always had good customer service. A special mention goes to Maria. Maria was friendly, compassionate; she spoke to my husband and I without being condescending (unlike an employee at a different store we'd visited earlier- not a BestBuy), she answered all of our questions and concerns with appropriate detail, she demonstrated understanding of our needs and wants with regards to the products we wished to purchase and didn't pressure us. We were able to leave the store for a while to discuss our options and purposely sought out Maria when we were ready to make our purchases. Me and my Fiancee went in to purchase a PS4 VR and wanted to make sure that they would honor their return policy for the gaming accessory because we were unsure whether the VR headset would fit over my Fiancees glasses. We were told that they would not take it back as a return if it was open, when their website says that they will take back open gaming accessories in the return policies. We then asked if they maybe had a set that we could see if his glasses would fit behind and were told no. The staff here absolutely did not try to help us in this situation at all. Its ridiculous that this store would go completely against the return policy that their website states. Very glad I did not go by the website and purchase the VR to have it not fit and be unable to return it.

I wanted to give 5 stars but everytime I go there they do not have cash. Yep actually money. And I had gone on boxing day out of boredom , picked up an ecobee3 and some sensors which was one of those they have to get at the back with the empty box which they had tons on the shelf. So I waited a long time in line for a long time. When I got to the cash I had to wait again (no cash. They literally have no ???? and only accept debit or credit as they can't give you change lol) then I was told they do not even have the ecobee 3 in stock. What a joke. Or the people working there will not want to look in the back for stock even if there is stock in the back or no boxes on the floor (this is on a normal day with very little customers around). So its either one or the other lol. I am giving at least 3 stars because the store itself is clean and I usually reserve to pick up in store thru the website when you can.

Came in to purchase a headset. I got out to the vehicle and noticed the packaging had been opened and had been resealed with an old piece of tape. I came back into the store about 10-15 minutes after purchase and asked to exchange for a different one (not return). I was told I could not exchange the item because it had been opened. Not impressed. Bought a camcorder whicih did not have the proper cable to charge the battery with it. Was told I could use one for an older cell phone and that did not work either. I have lost several days of work trying to charge a battery so I can work from home. Either supply the proper cables with the product or hire staff who can give better advice!

During quarantine, reserving an item online and picking up outside is a great way to distance yourself and quite efficient. my personal experience with reserving was quite easy and the item was ready for pick up within fifteen minutes. I reserved an unlocked iphone and I was very happy until it came to buying it: the woman that was selling me the product wouldn't stop asking me questions on why I was buying it unlocked and why this and why that. the process took a very long time because of this and she made me feel very insecure and vulnerable as if it was any of her business in the first place. I wish I could complain outright but I was trying to get out of the store with my product as fast as I could and didn't catch the employee's name. Would not recommend this location if you don't want the employees shoving their nose in your buisness and pushing their opinion around making you feel like a child :(

Not a great first time online experience. First their system couldn't match my banking info with theirs. So when I called them back and attempted to fix the issue I had to give them all the info again which did not result in a resolved issue. Got another email saying their was another problem with my banking info, called again to confirm the info again, this time the lady assured me it was all good and that the transaction went through. To much chagrin this was not the case because I received another email only minutes later saying it wasn't done even though she confirmed it was all good. Called again. Spoke to a guy named Mark and he said it was all good and that he would transfer me over to the delivery department to confirm delivery date. I called shenanigans on that because when i spoke to the delivery department they said the order wasn't confirmed and now I had to wait until her computer was updated...why did you transfer me to delivery confirmation department if it was not ready. The lady I spoke with in deliveries kept cutting me off trying to explain to me that she couldn't do anything for me at this time, I have to wait, to which I responded in the heat of the moment "well then you better get off your chair and go and talk to your supervisor now to resolve this issue" to which she responded some half $#% automated response (now I felt like I was talking to a machine), might as well have been. Still waiting for confirmation but I can assure you I will not be shopping at Best Buy again.

I have never had excellent service here. Only sub-par at best. The majority of the staff seem like they are willing to put in barely enough effort. But I find if you ask enough people on staff that day there are at least one or two superstars working each day that you will get good help. I am disgusted at the complete lack honesty and any form of customer service at this store. Don't shop best buy, they take zero responsibility for their disfunctional products and services. Their "geek squad" is a complete sham. I have taken my computer into geek squad at least 5 times in the last few months, and every single time my computer is returned to me with either all of the same issues unresolved or with even more problems. They muddled up my key pad on my brand new laptop and have been asked to fix it 3 times now to no avail. They continue to claim that they have fixed the issues with my computer each time that it is picked up, but it is complete BS. Also many of my calls are never returned, and each time I attempt to reach someone I have to spend a good 20 minutes calling to get an answer and am then told everyone is too busy to speak to me. I will never buy anything from this pathetic excuse for a retail store again.

I went to Best Buy today to purchase an all in one printer, but the two guys who waited on me were more interested in selling me the store protection plan than a printer. I left the store without making a purchase and will have to do more online research for a printer to meet my needs. Best Buy in Vernon, BC. Bought a Kobo reader online which was processed really fast. The problems started when we tried to pick it up. They wouldn't accept my husband's ID for pick up even though we are at the same address. He had the email pick up notice and the gift cards used for purchase. He came home and got me. I of course forgot my ID. The guy at the counter suggested I cancel the online order then take it up and buy it. There is no place on the order details page that allows you to cancel your order, even though it's supposed to be really easy. Apparently the web site "does this sometimes". So I asked the worker to cancel my order but he says he can't do that without 2 pieces of ID. We asked for the manager but he was about as friendly as a troll and was not able to offer us any solutions. So we drove home a 3rd time and came back with my id and now have the reader in my possession. Said this 20 years ago which was probably the last time I was in there, and I will say it again...I will NEVER purchase anything from this store ever again.

I take it in they tell me my motherboard is broken and "they will look for one that fits" I also mentioned to them that I never updated my bios wasnt updated before I put it in as that might be the cause. (I know fail) guy tells me he's gonna do it for me (doesnt) I then go get my PC to find out the overvoltage was a misread by my motherboard all along and that it was fine... Over the recent holidays I took advantage of the sales and purchased a number of high end items for family and myself. I received excellent support and advice. I ended up taking a few items back due to a failure on my part in purchasing the wrong items (memory chips and video card for my computer). The Future Shop in Vernon has been both courteous and supportive even when its definitely my error. Taking items back was a good experience. I wish I could say the same for the Future Shops in Vancouver. They could take a lesson in customer service from the Vernon store. I ended up spending considerably more than I had expected or planned to due to their courteous professional service.

I've been looking for a new tablet and went to the store on Thursday for some help in finalizing my decision and to make my purchase. After being in the store for 20 mins and unable to get help I left. Today I returned to try again. I spent some time again looking at the tablets and approached a sale associate for help. He said he was unable to help me, but would call someone. A few minutes later I was approached by a bored looking associate that asked what type of cable I was looking for. I explained that I was actually looking for a new tablet, and told him what I intended to use it for. He proceeded to read some information off of a card on the shelf for a tablet and said that it was on sale and a good deal. He provided no useful help or information at which point I decided to leave and he got very defensive and rude. I miss the days of Futureshop.

Went in to return Monster isport victory headphones that I purchased with the extended warranty(179.99$) on June 27th/2018. The headphones stopped working and after emailing Monster it was determined to be a warrenty claim. I talked to a very rude customer service agent that initially told me they wouldn't do anything because I didnt have the box for the headphones. After talking to this employee for another minute or two he decided to go talk to the manager. After a minute he said that they would do it. I decided to go with the Jaybird X3 we will see how that goes. All in all the customer service person that helped me the first time was very rude and condescending and the second customer service person I delt with after going to get the charging cord was amazing.

I ordered a stand up freezer, they delivered it but the handle is broken from manufacturer. I spent over an hour on the phone 2 days ago after being blown off. Then finally someone helped but couldn’t reach a service tech to schedule someone to come out… I paid extra for the 5 year warranty… still no one has called and I tried calling geek squad twice and both times they hang up. Ever since covid, it seems all big box places give EXTREMELY poor service and all small businesses cannot get product. I will NEVER buy anything from Best Buy again and will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I strongly URGE people to spend the extra money and wait for local smaller businesses to get the stock. My lesson is learned. Everyone needs to start doing this or we will all end up paying for broken junk and nothing can be done. They just don’t care and neither does the government

Online orders can't be modified at the store level... You can't call the store and they won't contact you... The store can't contact the appliance delivery teams... The store can't really do anything aside from sell what little product they have on their shelves. The store and Best Buy customer service blame Covid but no other retailer is this backwards. There's a now severe disconnect with this company and its services. It's not necessarily the fault of the store directly but it's beyond frustrating to deal with.

Recently we purchased a computer and printer from Best Buy at the May flower Mall. Just have to say that the customer service was exceptional. The employee who looked after us (Brayden) was excellent . He was not only knowledgeable ,but very good at listening to us and interested in finding us exactly what we were looking for. From out of town...tried calling to see if a product was available. Automated service doesn't make sense and doesn't connect you to a store. Online system doesn't let you check to see if there is an item in stock. Possibly the worst automated system out there. You'd think they would be more user friendly. First and last time I even attempt to purchase anything here.
