Outstanding! I have been a patient of this Clinic for many years and I can't imagine going anywhere else. The staff are always pleasant and respectful from the moment you walk in the door until you leave. They treat you like you are a member of the family! The waiting rooms are comfortable while you are there. Measurements and other preliminary exams are done first to keep you from waiting too long. Every step along the way you are treated with the utmost respect. I trust Dr Zonar 100% with my eye care. He has always been very thorough and explained every change ( or no change ) in my eye health. He is more than happy to put in layman's terms what he discovers during the exam and I always feel as though I have a good understanding of the condition of my eyes and level of my vision before I leave. If I am not in a position to purchase glasses from them on the day of my visit, they happily supply me with a prescription. There is absolutely no pressure to buy from them unless it is my choice, but since they have so many beautiful frames to choose from at a reasonable price, I normally do. Have I mentioned that I think Simcoe Optometric Clinic is a great place to go for your eye care needs? :)

I've been a client since about 1993. Great service, very quick and attentive. Called on Tuesday to get my glasses fixed; had an appointment Thursday and was in and out in under 10 minutes. I have looked at buying my frames elsewhere but never found the same quality for the price!

After being a patient for nearly forty years we were told today that they could not provide emergency eye care to a senior because of a dispute with the Ontario Government. To me it is not acceptable to risk a patient's eyesight to make a point. Maybe a little compassion for others would help.

I brought my two children in to have their eyes examined at Simcoe Optometric Clinic and it was a great experience! My son was nervous to have his eyes looked at and the doctor was very reassuring and was able to perform all the tests without any issue. The staff are also very welcoming and professional.

Worst experience ever. The optometrist kept giving the wrong axis. After the third set of making glasses because Simcoe optometry kept blaming hakim optical.. the optometrist realized she put down the wrong axis.. and finally I had a good pair of glasses made by hakim. Unfortunately hakim had to make 3 pairs because Simcoe optometry were blaming them, not the prescription. BUT When the prescription changed, the glasses were miraculously better. The customer service during this time was also horrid.

Definately this is one of the best optometric clinics in Ontario! Great dedicated and caring doctors work with the top notch technology. My family have been visiting this place since 1992. After moving to GTA, we still drive a long way to see Dr. Zona, as the eye health is everyone's top priority, and we feel very lucky to under Dr. Zona' s care! We also found the glasses we get here are with the best quality. I think they must have a lot of research to find the best products possible. Your dedicated team work is greatly appreciated!

Haven't had an eye exam in over a decade and had no idea what to expect. All staff were very kind and patient with me, from the people at the desk when I first walked in, to the optometrist who did the exam. I don't know what's usually involved in eye exams having had it be so long, but the exam seemed very thorough. Staff also helped to make sure as much of the visit and glasses I'm going to need is covered as possible, since I have no idea what I'm doing. Would definitely recommend.

This was my first time to this Optometric Clinic and I can not rave enough about this place. We moved to Simcoe Dec 2020 from Hamilton where our regular optometrist is located. I was having eye pain in my one eye and needed to be seen ASAP so I called first thing in the morning and I was seen in less than an hour. They were all so nice very friendly and knowledgeable the optometrist I saw was amazing, he was wonderful very thorough and patient and friendly and explained in detail what he was about to do to solve my eye problem as he did a complete eye exam. If ever anyone is looking for an amazing place to go for your eyes this is it. ***** My husband and I will definitely be coming here from now on.

I received my new glasses on Oct 12, 2021. I wore them daily for 27 days. I was having headaches all day, every day. Everywhere online as as well as my friends who wear glasses told me the prescription was probably not correct. I went back to do a re-test and the doctor was very dismissive of me saying they were too strong. We did a retest and they claimed the numbers were correct. I asked for the glasses to be adjusted. I picked up the new lenses on November 8, 2021 and they weren’t correct either. I gave up on the glasses and wore the contacts they fitted me for starting Nov 9, 2021 and wore them until Nov 24, 2021 (15 days) but I was still experiencing headaches all day long. It had now been a total of 42 days of nonstop headaches from the glasses and contacts they gave me. I booked an appointment with another eye doctor to get a second opinion. When he saw what prescription was in my glasses and contacts, he couldn’t believe how wrong they were. After his testing he gave me a pair of trial contacts to wear with the proper prescription I needed and I’ve had them in now for 5 days and my headaches are gone and I’m seeing clearly.. Due to my experience and the amount of money I spent on contacts and glasses that weren’t correct, I will no longer be trusting my eye care with Simcoe Optometric Clinic in the future.

I've been going to the Simcoe Optometric Clinic, under the care of Dr. Zona, for several years now. The service I have recieved has been 5???? by far. From the receptionist to the Optometrist, and everyone in between, my experience has been great. The staff are courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and honest. 4 years ago, I purchased a specific pair of frames from there, but upon reflection I decided on another pair instead. There was a price difference in my favor which they adjusted and credited me for, a day later. A few weeks after that I recieved a cheque in the mail for $23 stating that I had paid too much for the frames. I had no idea that I had over paid. The fact that they took the time to let me know thatth mistake was made and swiftly corrected it, is a testament to why they've had longevity and high praise. I highly recommend SOC.
