Extremely rude and unprofessional ! I’ve never been so embarrassed ! I came to this location on feb 6th/21 at 11:30am. I walked in and was rudely greeted by an Indian woman asking if I had an appointment. I told her no I didn’t realize I had to have an appointment, I apologized and said I had no problem leaving to make an appointment for another day. The woman said that I could stay because I was already in the store. She asked me if I had a prescription, I said yes, she then rudely handed me a tray for the glasses I try on and she let me look around. I finally found a pair that kind of looked good and asked a chinese looking woman working there how much the glasses were. She was very kind and helped me, she answered all my questions and looked at my prescription to make some recommendations. I told her that I wanted to browse and compare with some other optical stores so I would come back. The Indian woman rudely interjected and attacked me saying “I thought you said you had a prescription! If I had known I wouldn’t have let you look around!” I told her I did have a prescription but I wanted to compare. I told her I had no problem leaving when she first told me I needed an appointment but she let me browse and now she’s attacking me. Needless to say I left and will not be returning. I do not recommend you go to this place of business appointment or not. Customers shouldn’t have to be scolded by a place of business. We are spending money for your service, we aren’t beggars !

I have not purchases anything from Hakim Optical yet but my friend has and I was with her at the time. Their service is good and I am looking for new glasses right now since my old ones broke. I think I will be going to them now especially with their great deals.

I would not even give this location a 1 star. I was given wrong info from day one. The manager is extremely rude. No customer service. Manger treated me like my business means nothing to them. When asked questions the answers keep changing. Even after the screwed up twice then have no empathy. I do not recommend this location at all. I have gone to other location and have gotten better service!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Please do not go here. Eye health is very important, do yourself a favour and avoid Hakim Optical in general and head to another place.

Very quality service. Although this was my first time with Hakim the staff at this location did everything they could to help me. My frames got bent 2-3 weeks after purchase. I went in, they reshaped them for free. The lenses needed some moderate changes, they did that also for free.

Worst location ever. I was charged for fixing a screw that no one has ever charged me for, on top of that they declined to fix alignment of frame very rudely. I can tolerate anything other than rude behaviour. There was a girl in evening shift who was not behaving well.

When I asked about the advertised special she said she didn’t know what I was talking about. Then told me it was only for students. Wanted me to buy $300 frames. We left. Came back with the ad. She rudely pointed out the affordable frames and did not help. AVOID

I wish I can give negative 100 stars to this location. Very rude sales associate. We went there for our appointment on Oct/10/2020 at 11 AM. We reached there couple of minutes before our appointment. The associate who opened the door for us was very rude. She told us to take the seat. Around 11.10 AM she told us that the Dr. Is running late and she is coming from Mississauga. When I asked her how long we have to wait, she said that dr did not tell her when she will reach here. Very non-professional service at this Hakim optical. PLEASE DONOT GO THERE. IT WILL BE TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. We simply walked out of store. I do not believe that I will face such a bad Customer service and non-professional Optician who does not value customers time in this era ! This store should be closed right away.

Very poor customer service. I would give it no star if I had a choice. My mom bought a pair of prescription eye glasses and after trying them on she realized that she can't see properly. She went back within a week of getting the glasses and she was told that she will have to pay for the lenses. The person who helped her even went beyond and said that she told my mom that this problem will happen if she buys the frame she selected which was a complete lie since I was there when my mom selected the frames and we were not told any such thing. Very unprofessional . We had a very disappointing experience

This store is not producing the quality it used to. Lastime Helen took very precise measurements and the glasses fit perfectly for both my wife and myself. Unfortunately this time another person took our measurements and the glasses we got do not fit well at all. Very surprised at such a big name and such a very poor product.

I was with my girlfriend when she went to purchase her glasses. They have no clue what they are doing there. They don't know time lines or insurance process. When they make the mistake they take no accountability of what wrong they did. Terrible management. In this day and age I am surprised they are getting away with such bad business acumen.

Let me save you some time. DO NOT GO HERE! I wish I could give them no stars at all, DO NOT speak with the female by the name Helen! She will lie straight to your face. No customer service and extremely rude. This store and the Markham and Lawrence one should be closed and the employees never rehired at any other Hakim location.

Absolutely worst service. Manager and optician was extremely rude. Willing to sell trial contact lenses for above retail price. If I were you, I'd go elsewhere - there are plenty of other honest and reliable shops around the area.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely rude employees and manager. They act like they are doing me a favour. They messed up with timelines and messed up with glasses. When I spoke to the manager she was more rude than the employee. I got two glasses and never used the second one until a few weeks ago and both arms fell off. I know they tampered with it. How can both arms just fall out with out much use? Find another location to buy your glasses.

The employees (Saro and the other lady who's name I forgot) are super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this location!
