This place at STC messed up my prescription. They put -3.25 and-3.25. I go get it down at the eye place at Fairview mall and it was -3.25 and -3.75. They need to learn how to do their work properly. Don't recommend going here. Wasted my free eye exam on this

Great choice in branded prescription glasses. Staff was well informed and very accomodative, they helped expedite a pair of glasses for my wife. Definitely coming back for future glasses needs

I bought a pair of eyeglasses with scratch less lenses. But after using it for a year it had scratches all over. I have another pair of eyeglasses bought from somewhere else and I have been using that for 5 years now and I don't see one scratch on it. I would avoid going to this place. I called them and told them about the scratches and the lady said it is normal duh!

I’ve been shopping here for the past 3 years all the staff have been very helpful. I like how they don’t approach me as soon as I walk in unlike LensCrafters and many other places , it gives me some personal space to take a look around the store. I was choosing between 300$ glasses vs 500$ glasses and the staff actually chose the 300$ glasses because it was more suitable for my face shape and prescription . I have to say the staff are very very honest when it comes to choosing frames.

They don't take insurance coverage from Sunlife, Manulife, etc... Hopefully this review saves you a trip to STC! Only found out after coming into the store.

Never worn glasses before, shopped all over, everyone was a pure sales and all about just making a deal, sell sell sell, price price price, then I found EYESTAR at STC. No BS straight honest advice and 100 % super service and GREAT PRICE. Thank You Jacklyn :) You great service has made my Wife and Myself an EYESTAR for life.

I bought prescription glass with frame twice from this store. Unfortunately 2nd time I was dissatisfied with the glass quality. I didn’t pay less but didn’t get what I paid for. Also, On my subsequent visit, I saw they clean the glass with a spray and when I asked if they can provide me a cleaning spray, they replied-“you were given this one time when you bought the glass”, which is totally incorrect. They never gave me anything like this. It means I could get 2 bottles of spray for 2 of my purchases which they didn’t give me.

Excellent customer service from William and the staff at this location. They let me try on as many styles of eyeglasses that I wanted, and were willing and knowledgable when explaining the choices I had for eyeglass lenses. I would highly recommend Eyestar Optical , a better alternative to lensrafters with much higher quality products.

Sarah handled my questions with polite etiquette also William who was the individual who repaired my other sunglasses was very efficientl and professional. The selection of optical selections are diverse and carry a wide variety of high level brands. Overall first time experience was to say the least POSITIVE AND FRIENDLY... HAPPY CUSTOMER AND DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED...

Don't ever shop here, horrible horrible staff . Doesn't even deserve a 1 star. Went into browse, and I here two employees just chit chatting and doesn't welcome or greet me, when I even made eye contact with both staff members. The employee that helped me out was the assistant manager named Jaclyn.She approached me after 5 minutes, and was definitely racist. As I was browsing, I overheard her chatting with the other associate saying 'brown people are cheap, we shouldn't waste our time helping them, they are definitely time killers".This was something really sad to hear, as majority of the population in Scarborough are brown people. How can someone especially an assistant manager be judgemental, and a racist. Clearly this lady, doesn't have the mentality that every customer should be provided with equal service. Just seems desperate for money and sales, which isn't wrong in a retail environment, but should treat every customer with respect and a great experience at the store. This store doesn't deserve sales or customers, as per say there are many options out here in Toronto to purchase glasses/sunglasses that provide amazing service. I would recommend lens crafter as the employees treated me with respect, and everyone was really welcoming and nice at the stc location.

I always come here for my contacts and eyeglasses but I will not be returning as I have called SEVERAL times to book an eye exam over the past 3 weeks and I have been told time after time I cannot book an appointment until the doctor is in. When is the doctor ever in? RIdiculous. I will go elsewhere.

I went to Eyestar optical last week. They have high quality products and a wide variety of collections so that can make your decision very hard. One of their employees, Kate approached me and let me try all the glasses that I wanted to try on. She chose the ones that would fit for my face type and explained to me to understand about many different brand/types of progressive lens. They were sanitizing every each one of the glasses that I was trying on so I felt kind bad but she made me so comfortable trying on SO many glasses, thank you Kate! Her professional suggestions was so helpful and I ended up pick one pair that I really love! I highly recommend this place and I would go back there for my fifth pair of glasses!

There were some scratches on the frame and lense of my sunglasses. William (the manager) replaced the lenses for a reasonable price and also polished the frame for free. I was so satisfied with the result. William and staff are very nice and friendly and always trying to keep their customers satisfied. Also you can find the best sunglasses and frames there.

Horrible place. The optometrist sold me one pack of contacts for $35. He told me that's the price of 2 packs. They didn't refund my money. I wasted my time and money. This place rips you off
