I had a super great experience with the staff! Everyone was so nice and helpful. Sally gave me great recommendations for a great pair of glass frames and Connie gave me tips about contact lenses. We also had a pleasant conversation, definitely did not expect to have had this much fun shopping for glasses. Sidney even cleaned my existing pair and fixed a new pair of nose pads. Highly recommend!

Same Day Prescription Glasses are real! And these ladies realize that! Lost my glasses in the lake, drove up to the city blind the next day, told the girls my story and they were happy to help. I picked out some frames that I liked and within a couple of hours they had the lense in. I'm very happy with the service, they were so eager to help me. Will be switching eye doctors to Factory Optical. If you get glasses during their 2for1 event it is very reasonable prices.

I have been waiting almost a month and half for a set of sunglasses they said would be ready in 10-14 days. Each time I call they say they are being processed in their lab in isreal and it shouldn't be to much longer. Each time they say that another week goes by with out hearing anything. I will not be purchasing my glasses from this company again as they are quick to take your money but long on actually delivering. Very poor service.

Worst experience imaginable. My wife and I purchased two prescription sunglasses, spending about $900 all together. They were quick to process the transaction. However, when we finally got the sunglasses after a couple of weeks both the sunglasses were hurting our eyes, the prescription lenses weren't prepared to specifications. We returned them to get fixed and at first they wouldn't acknowledge that the lenses were prepared incorrectly, instead they were saying our prescriptions were wrong, since the prescriptions weren't from their location. After arguing with them, they finally checked the lenses specs and found that they didn't match our prescription. They took our sunglasses and said they will be fixed within a week and they would call us when they are done. A week and a half passes, I go to the store to check on them, surprise surprise, the customer rep didn't even put the order in to have the lenses fixed. Finally they put the order in to have the lenses fixed and after another two weeks we get them. We wear the sunglasses for about a week and they aren't sitting properly on our faces and my wife's sunglasses' frame is wobbly. We take them back to have them to get checked out and they say that we need to get them fitted to our faces. Thanks for telling us the first time instead of making us run around. They fit the sunglasses to our faces, but for my wife's frames being wobbly, all they do is change the handles instead of replacing the entire frame. This reduces the wobbliness of her frames and she decides to live with the flaw because we were tired of dealing with their horrible service. A couple of months later, my wife's Tiffany sunglasses' have the little hearts on the handles fall off. Their website states that some frames, like my wife's frames, are covered under manufacture warranty. I took it to the store to get the frames fixed, surprise surprise, they are saying my frames aren't under warranty because I didn't purchase their premium coverage for the lenses! I called another location to see if they say this BS at every location, but that is not the case. After arguing with them again, they realized that the frames are under warranty, but I will have to pay to buy the missing hearts that fell off and the manufacture will fix it then, that is glue them on. In conclusion, don't bother going to this location unless you want to pay a lot of money to run around and deal with some seriously incompetent employees who don't know their own policies!

Joanne is a life saver! Two weeks ago I was cleaning my glasses when one of the legs snapped off. I went to the store first thing in the morning without being able to book in advance and Joanne was able to not only help me find a replacement frame, but also put my lenses into them and helped me with my warranty. I was in and out in 20 minutes with a new frame. Highly recommend shopping here. They will continue to have my business when it is time for new frames again! Thank you Joanne!

This is our second visit and purchase. First time was for my wife, today for me. We had good staff feedback and help when choosing frames. I did find it difficult to pick frames, always have. So many manufacturers are not realy doing anything innovative in design and colour choises for men. So in a place like this where there are hundreds of choices, there is a strong commonality with them. Like automobiles... all so simular and a common 3-4 colours. Kid of borring. Wish there were more funky and fun ones to choose from at this location, but I also aknowledge I am very picky and the demand for such may not exist. Anyway, with help from staff and the wife we found a good pair! They had a flash sale, one pair for 50% off. This was great as I did not want two pair and I like a deal! I was able to order a great pair of frames and the best lenses possible for my strong prescription for less than $300. Unheard of now unless you do a mail order shop. Also, after several months, my wife's frames had some paint chipping off of them. We showed a staff member. Without issue they are arranging replacement under warranty. I will edit this review if we have anything less than the type of service we have had thus far.

I went into Factory Optical and received the most phenomenal service from Zoe and Connie. They were both kind, personable, helpful. My son even commented on how wonderful they were, and he is 11 years old and does not pay attention, so that definitely speaks volumes. Great service!

My experience there was actually a couple of years ago. I went for the eye exam, and purchased 2 pairs of glasses. The girl helping me choose glasses made it fun. However, when I got my glasses, I couldn't see. They were progressive lenses, and when I went back, they told me I just needed to keep trying. I went back 3 times. Finally I went to Walmart, and had a new eye exam etc. They even used one set of frames from Factory optical to put my new lenses in. I could see instantly. I had been walking around, trying to see for weeks in a prescription that wasn't even mine. Worst. Experience. Ever.

I purchased my 1st set of glasses 6 yrs ago so it was a no brainer I was going back when my prescription changed. I was blessed with Falyn as my representative at the store. She was patient and honest with me as I picked through all my options. I chose my 2 pairs and picked them up a week later however I was very unhappy with them. Factory Optical has a guarantee that if you are unhappy you may return them so I did. Falun was extremely patient and helped me pick new frames and allowed me to take home the frames to make sure I was satisfied. The day we agreed to bring them back turned out was right in the middle of her holidays and she made a special trip just to help me. She went over and above to help make sure I was satisfied. She is always happy, smiling and helpful. I will always recommend her and this store. Thank you Falyn.

Going on my second pair of eyewear, and looking forward to supporting Niki and her team in the future. -------------------- UPDATE - 2018/07/06: A big thumbs up to the team at Factory Optical (Saskatoon Stonebridge), who continue to demonstrate how they value me as a customer. Bought my second pair of eyewear this past December from them and, the other day, the arm on the left side fell off upon opening the arms to pit them on. Seeing I treat my eyewear like gold, I found it odd that barely 6 months into owning these that the arm would fall right off like that... And they also agreed with me on that point to the extent they fixed the defect at no charge and without it being deemed a warranty claim. If you need eyewear at a great price with the best service in town, I highly recommend them! :)

I have read most of the other reviews and was surprised to see any negativity I first met Nikki on my job site and her knowledge and professionalism brought me to the store for all of my optical needs. Yes it is often very busy, but the staff has been beyond excellent to me. I highly recommend them on all levels. Dr Kennedy has also become my optometrist. I find her to be very thorough and provides excellent service. Regards

Don’t do it. A myriad of issues - first frame selection I put on hold as I made my choices before my checkup. Brought my prescription over the day after my appointment and the frames were gone, the ones I liked had been put back, lost, sold, nobody knew so I had to choose again. Buy one get one not really as it sounds, that is fine but beware. Made new selection. The were ready for pickup quickly that was great -but a real struggle with fit and every time I came in to get them adjusted I saw a different optician in the store and they completely readjusted them to their own way, refuting what the prior optician said. I have consistently struggled with the fit on both pairs, one pair I just won’t wear because they won’t stay on my nose and the other pair is actually painful behind my ears but they’ve been adjusted so much the legs are loose. The gold decorative trim fell off one pair and they were repaired once in the store, the second time it happened I asked for a replacement (found out I had been sold the display frames) when those were replaced the exact same gold decoration fell off again. Now I don’t even want these frames at all. I am very sure prescription from the on site optometrist isn’t right - have been told I’ll need to pay a fee to have my prescription checked. Thinking about throwing in the towel on 1300.00 of lenses and frames and starting over at a new place because a) glasses are missing decorative piece b) don’t fit/not comfortable c) can’t see, I’m wearing readers over my prescription in order to see my devices.

This is the first negative review I’ve ever given to anyone or anything. I’m not a negative guy and I’m always willing to work with people when issues arise but this experience was beyond terrible. If I could give this company a zero I would. It started off fine but when I had issues with my prescription lenses that’s when things got fun. I did everything I could to work with them but in the end they couldn’t get my prescription right and I wasn’t able to see. Period! Not to mention, a lot of money wasted. I demanded to talk to the district manager who was not willing to help in anyway, then avoided my phone calls. I was treated with absolute disrespect and unprofessionalism. What makes things worse is that I’m disabled ... I was totally dependant on them to make things right so I could see. And they didn’t.

If I could give them six stars I would, Connie is incredible and is the reason I keep going back to them for glasses. She is honest about what looks good on you and what suits your face, I am very picky with my glasses but I would let Connie pick out a pair for me and purchase them sight unseen. The place is immaculate they go above and beyond with cleaning and disinfecting, they take pride in their work and it's just such a great environment!

Factory Optical (Stonebridge location) has remarkable customer service and has high quality eyewear. I have been coming to this location for approximately 3 years now, and I haven't and will not consider going elsewhere. The customer representative that I had the pleasure of meeting at this location is friendly, welcoming, professional, and took the time to know us personally. One of the main employees named Stacey was exceptional. He helped both my mother and I pick out a pair of glasses, and took the time to find the perfect pair. Every time we stopped by, he greeted us by our names as soon as we walked in the door. He was very patient with our decisions and provided amazing customer service. I definitely recommend purchasing glasses from this location, especially with Stacey's recommendations and assistance!

My grown children are now customers and I direct any family members, friends and even strangers to them lol I appreciate that they do not pressure any sales and they are respectful of any budget. Decent service and selection. Prices for lenses are on par with everyone else in Saskatoon, but ludicrously high compared to online services. Two stars because they failed to disclose that we would need to wait over a MONTH for non-prescription sunglasses to be delivered until after we paid for them. Had I known I would have went to a competitor and I wouldn't be feeling bent over by this company. This is unacceptable to my standards and I would not recommend Factory Optical to anyone, unless they were able to compensate me for this wasted time. UPDATE: I was contacted by management to tell me they would help settle my issues, but have yet to actually do anything about it.

The arm broke right off my new glasses so went to get them fixed. Found out they were covered on warranty so got a brand new pair. A bonus because I had to get new lenses put in at the same time. When I went to pay for the lenses I find out that i didn't have to pay in the end. So very happy with this location and all its employee's. Thank you thank you for helping me see again. Hailey was our "guide" through our experience . She is an amazing representative for Factory Optical and an example of true customer service. One can see that Connie has built a terrific team and a great working atmosphere. The whole time is relaxing and no feeling of pressure. Hailey was very patient, helpful and super friendly as is everyone else that works in this store. It is GOOD OLD-FASHIONED CUSTOMER CARE and isn't a shame we need to call it old-fashioned, when this should be the standard. Went to Factory Optical with my partner because we both needed our glasses adjusted/tightened and needed a new screw that fell out of my partner's frames. When we went to the door we realized that they were only doing appointments rather than walk-ins due to Covid precautions and we were about to leave but the manager of the store came out and encouraged us to come in. Her and the other staff member were so welcoming and did an amazing job of fixing both of our pairs of glasses. The customer service experience left me committed to purchasing glasses here for life.

I had recently been told by my optometrist that I would be needing progressive lenses. As I started to look at the prices, I was soon overwhelmed by the price of one pair. My wife told me about a promotion she had heard on the radio for a two for one so I went to check it out. I was welcomed with a smile by one of the helpful staff members. After I had picked out frames, the manager Niki priced them out for me. I got a pair of progressives and a progressive sun-glass for the same price as one pair of glasses at the optometrists. The staff was incredibly caring, inquiring what I did for a living. I explained that I worked at an office and they explained that maybe I'd be happy with an office lens, something which i had not previously known existed. I decided to do this and was about to replace my sunglasses with the office lens when I was informed i could do them as a third pair for 50% off. I left the store that day with three pairs of glasses ordered, one to suit my every need. A week and a half later, the glasses were ready for pickup. When I got there, they adjusted all of them and reassured me if something was ever wrong such as my vision or fit, I could come in whenever. I would say I am overall very pleased with the staff and reasonable pricing at Factory Optical and will be returning for future purchases.

Went in there yesterday for the first time. Me and girlfriend both need new glasses. We were in there for roughly 20 minutes and not a single person came over to ask if we needed help or explain the 2 for 1 deal.. Another couple came in 10 mins after us and right away asked if they had been helped yet or not, explained everything to them and then walked right passed us without even looking at us. Probably some of the worst customer service I had ever seen. and there was maybe 6 customers in there and 3 employees. Hopefully your other locations aren't like this because we won't be going back to this one.

(we’ve had glasses since we were in kindergarten) the guy helping us was condescending and not helpful. he made us SO uncomfortable we had to leave while he wasn’t looking. we would have bought glasses if this man had not been there.

Factory Optical stonebridge is a great place for purchase of work safety glasses and reading glasses. The customer service there is great. Its quite amazing how the District Manager (Niki) could recognize me and remember my purchase after 9 months. She even went ahead to ask if the glasses ai purchased months back fit well. For my new purchase, she gave a discount making me get my order almost free. Great team with good customer service.

We had to choose glasses for my child and husband. When I went to finalize my child glasses, I was wanting to understand their deal. Joanne was very impatient with us as we reached there 4:45pm and since that time she kept saying that she is done her shift at 5:30 and I had to say to her politely that we will be done soon so don't worry. This is extremely bad customer service. The next time I went in with my husband to choose his glasses and glad this time Conney helped us. She was very very patient with us as we took long to finalize. We were only able to finalize glasses because Conney helped us so 5 star goes to her.

I recently went to factory optical to purchase some new glasses. The girls took my prescription and showed me and my wife all of my options. I was amazed at there level of care and attention. The professionalism the staff displays is something to be applauded. As a business person myself I know how hard it can be to build an environment where staff can flourish. I was in Factory Optical today. I overheard a conversation in regards to warranty work. The staff at this store are absolutely awesome and are very clear in their explanation of how warranty works. People, if you get warranty work done, REMEMBER you only get to keep your old glasses until your new ones come in. The store needs to send the old ones back to the factory. I want to give a huge shout out to the manager - Conney Westley and sales associate - Sally Matthel. Both of these ladies were so helpful and so friendly I couldn't have asked for better. This Factory Optical is the only place I will ever shop for glasses. Check them out.

I was extremely disappointed with the customer service. Walked in the store didn't get acknowledged, looked around for 10 minutes at glasses and didn't have one staff member ask if help was needed. The part the annoys me the most is that the staff was chatting and drinking coffee amongst each other. I had come to expect a lot from this store based on the service I had got in Regina but I can honestly say I will NEVER walk in the doors again.

When I first went here, I thought they were amazing, but not so much anymore. When I went for my first eye exam they told me I had boarder line glaucoma so I had to come back every so often to keep an eye on it, and my prescription did not feel right, contacts or eye glasses. I did contact them and they told me I had the right prescription. Well after finally having enough and I decided to go else where, well on my recent eye exam I have perfect eyes NO GLAUCOMA and my prescription in both my contacts and eye glasses were wrong. This makes me mad as I brought contacts through Factory so now I had to throw them out. This is not my first bad experience. My mom and father both got glasses through them, and both of them can not see out of their glasses. I did take my mom in and they told her the prescription is right and there is nothing they can do about it, actually the front clerk was rude and snarky. When you pay money for things you expect them to work for you! I am taking both my parents to where I go now, and I can bet on it they both have the wrong prescription also! Mom also got a call from them when her glasses were in, and she can swear she didn't order red frames as my mom does not like that color. But nobody is willing to help us. I just want to warn people before they go here and spend money on prescriptions that do not match their eyes or get told they are boarder line Glaucoma and spend money every time they go get it checked to find out they have healthy eyes!

Wonderful customer service. Was in the city for the day and wondered if my mom’s glasses were ready. They had just received them that morning but an awesome employee named Stacy was able to arrange for us to pick them up that afternoon. We were very grateful as it saved us another trip to Saskatoon and we were able to get on the road quickly to avoid inclement weather.

I bought 4 pairs of designer glasses. Christian Dior, Michael Kors, Kate Spade and Jimmy Choo. I struggled with fit etc given the progressive lenses. Since day one Nicky was amazing. I had trouble with choices and decisions and in 2 cases my coating went weird. Each and every time I walked in Nicky took great care of me and made me feel like I was no problem. Never a hassle. She made me feel like my business was important and for that I will keep coming back. Thanks Nicky.

I went to the Factory Optical store in Stonebridge Saskatoon last night. There was only one employee that I saw the entire time. If there had been two or more customers I don’t know how she would have helped us both. I told her I wanted to browse and did. When I couldn’t find anything she offered to help. But I told her what I was NOT looking for, as I didn’t want the same as what I already had, and she kept bringing me that exact thing. I did manage to find one pair on my own during that time that I like and she quoted me the price. The buy one get one free is a joke. You have only a select few pair to pick from for the second pair that are their out of style outdated frames. Who wants those? Secondly when she quoted the price my lenses alone were going to be $500+. I got glasses two years ago and two years before that. I paid $550 and I got two pair of glasses, progressive lenses (same as she was offering me) scratch coated, anti glare etc at Walmart. You did got a better deal if you bought two pair but had the entire store to chose from for your second pair....not a select few pair that no one wants. And let’s talk about frames....why, why, why is a bit of plastic worth $200+. The mark up they have in this store is 200%+. Whoever says that they have good prices here haven’t shopped around. Just because they have a fancy name on the side doesn’t mean anything. They come from the exact same eye glass frame factory as any other frames and cost the exact same and are literally a couple dollars to make and some one slapped a logo on the side...whoop whoop! I get compliments on the glasses I wear all the time and when I tell people where I got them they are always amazed. I wouldn’t mind shopping here for my next two pair of glasses....but why would I pay at minimum $300 more for just one pair??? Doesn’t make sense and you should save your money too....

OH MY GOODNESS !!!!!! FALYN Laidlaw was absolutely amazing ????! I am sooooo happy to have come across this place. Falyn was so professional and made me laugh. She is a total doll ! I normally buy my Glasses online because they are cheaper in price . Well NEVER again. I went to my eye Dr. Recently and my glasses I've been wearing for the past year and a half have been the incorrect prescription. I STRONGLY BELIEVE that you should never buy online glasses again especially if u have thicker lenses like me. You definitely need to check out factory optical and get properly fitted for frames . Not only was Falyn patient with me as I tried on a bazillion pairs she was honest with me . I was looking for a chance and I wanted a change for my frame style and she was incredible . She made me feel so confident in well frame style I normally wouldn't grab for . But I tried them and loved them. She Is absolutely amazing!!! She is just so kind and . Her heart is soooo big and she has a huge passion for helping people find the perfect pair or in my case 2 pairs ! She also helped worked with my very tight budget and made it work for me. It was fantastic. I met the boss of the store as well she very friendly and nice as well . The building was very clean . They used proper covid precautions. Seriously It was an amazing experience . ???? thanks for treating me sooo well ! Things have been tough for me lately and you made this so easy and enjoyable! Thanks Falyn Laidlaw!!!! I truly appreciate it! You made my Day !!!! Thanks is just not enough!!!

I highly recommend this location of Factory Optical! Having been there over the past 5-6 years I’ve noticed a marked improvement in customer service, and the environment in the store is very positive and welcoming. They let you take your time perusing the ample selection of frames, and offer genuine feedback when you try a pair on. I most appreciated the freedom take home up to five frames for five days. This was such a HUGE game changer, and it allowed me the time to make a selection I wouldn’t regret. Zoe started out my transaction, I believe it was Sally who helped me mid-way, and Hailey finished the sale off a couple of weeks later. Thanks, Hailey, for honouring the quoted price and for helping to process my insurance claim! I can’t wait for my glasses to arrive! This is definitely the location to go to when you want to be treated like your business matters and where you’re not rushed into making a purchase.

What impressed me the most was that at no time was there any question as to whether I was a current customer. I went to this store on a whim after ordering some glasses online (which I had some concerns with). A young and friendly female associate was happy to help; she checked the lenses against my Rx and made some suggestions as to why I may be having visual distortion. Although she said she could not make adjustments to the frame (as it was not from their store), I was able to find two beautiful frames there and a quote was prepared for me immediately. The selection is extensive, with many affordable options. I now understand the importance of having frames adjusted by a professional and how the fit can really affect the way your lenses work— I’ve made the decision to return my glasses to the online company and purchase from Factory Optical instead.

Factory optical, I have bought about 4 different pairs including safety glasses, for work and recreation. Niki has always taken great care of me, her staff are knowledgeable , and prompt to answer any questions you may have. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Especially if you are looking for a large selection of high end glasses at great prices.

Customer service was awesome !! Girls helped picked out the perfect glasses ! Price was very good too but customer service was the best ever . I would recommend the Stonebrige Factory Optical all day long !! Lexi was our sales clerk and she was so helpful as were the other girls working with her . Lexi took all the time I needed and helped me choose the perfect fit for my face . No other sales person has ever done that in the past . I read the reviews posted on here when I went to leave my review and was surprised at the negative feed back . I'm not sure if you've cleaned house and got new staff or what but I have had great service each time I have gone there .
