I called The Eye Guy after I had sat on my Prada Sunglasses. I don’t even remember my conversation on the phone with the optometrist as I was so frustrated and sad about what I did to my poor sunnies, all I know is she said to bring them in. When I arrived I was greeted by the optometrist herself, she must have seen the expressions my face since she knew I was the one that had just called. She promptly took my sunglasses to the back and while she worked on them we chatted. I found out she doesn’t even carry Prada but she didn’t mind working on my pair. She warned me that my sunglasses might not make it but she would try her best. Well she fixed them perfectly! If anyone is in need of new glasses or sunglasses please consider going to The Eye Guy. I had the best experience and I will definitely be buying any future glasses/sunglasses from her. Thank you so much!

Our first excellent interaction with Beth Kolthof, the new owner of The Eye Guy, occurred for us temporary residents when the frame on glasses recently purchased in our home state of Florida broke. We were walk-ins, and Beth took immediate action to call her lab group, got the frame sent in, saw that it needed a further tweak when first returned from the lab, got that done in a few days, and charged us a very modest fee. A few days later we had a new problem: one of us lost prescription glasses overboard in Lake Huron. We promptly got the prescription from our home optometrist and went back to Beth -- who again took action to get new frames and lenses in short turn-around time. In both cases, we had excellent advice, service and pricing. All done with good humour and patience. Recommend The Eye Guy as highly as possible.
