I recently visited LensCrafters Sarnia with a sunglasses emergency. I wasn't sure if they could be fixed. Amanda worked her magic and they were good as new. I appreciated this so much, as I am leaving for a trip soon and couldn't imagine driving without them. Thank you again Amanda. Also on this trip I ended up get a pair of glasses and sunglasses. Chantel was very informative and did not rush me through my choices. This was an amazing experience and would highly recommend!

Correction! The Manager called and they are fixing the problem. They were very accommodating! Past post - The store employees were kind and helpful when I went to purchase my glasses. Originally I was just going to get the frames as my benefit time was done but they convinced me on a deal for my lens. I asked for scratch proof nd anti glare. I choose LensCarfters because they had the RayBan Frames I wanted. Within a month of wearing my glasses the lens were scratched. I have been wearing glasses for 47 years and never had this problem. Even showed my previous glasses to her. They suggested it's how I clean them. I used their glass solution and the RayBan cloth. (Of which I have many). . They replaced the lens or coating I'm not sure and claimed it under faulty however they wanted to sell me insurance in case it happened again. It SHOULDN't happen again. I declined insurance as I told them if it happens again I will go somewhere more reliable. Sure enough, scratches in same place on same lens 2 months later.

Super friendly staff, great choices for frames and sunglasses (and right now a sale on lenses too!) And although there was a small wait, we never felt forgotten or looked over. The entire process was very smooth, and I look forward to coming back for my next pair of glasses when they're needed!

This is the fifth pair of glasses Amanda has helped me choose and purchase, all of them progressives. She gives excellent service and advice about frame shape, style and explains the technical aspects of measurements and the different progressive lenses.

Jessica the assistant manager was very friendly and helpful. She let us know that LensCrafter can possibly direct bill our plan. She called insurance institute and was able to direct bill for us and also let us know of the discounts available which certainly helps make the decision very easy to purchase with her. I bought some high end Oakleys with EVERYTHING On it. I'm talking polarized transitions scratch resistant ultra light and I paid for the extra warrantee as well. The transitions layer was peeling after 1 year and 1 month so that warrantee was expired. I went in and was very unhappy to hear they weren't going to cover them.... I never imagined an 800 dollar pair of glasses wouldn't last 1 year. I was told transitions don't work after a year anyways which is why I'll never buy transitions again. I waited for a day when the owner would be in because I was PISSED. She said she could sell me new lenses at cost. I paid 200 for the new lenses. They arrived 2 weeks later and when I brought my glasses in to get the new lenses put in I was told the lenses failed their quality check and they put my old ones back in. I was annoyed but I appreciate them checking for quality. They ordered a new set for me. I went in when the new set arrived and they got me an entire new set of glasses both frames and lenses. That was totally unexpected but I'm very happy with their customer service. Again I still would never recommend transitions because they're garbage after a year. Thanks lenscrafters Sarnia

I don’t recommend anyone go here for an eye exam!!!! Their optometrist is extremely rude and doesn’t seem to care about what their patient has to say. I got my eyes checked a month ago and I was rushed through seeing as they seemed to be running a bit behind that day. They way they spoke to me was a bit harsh but I brushed it aside since I’m the end I got what I had came for: the prescription. Seeing as their options in store were obscenely overpriced and expensive I went elsewhere for my glasses. After wearing the glasses for a few weeks I was still experiencing bad headaches and felt like the prescription was too strong so I booked a recheck. I was met with hostility during my recheck where they didn’t even actually recheck my eyes and was essentially just blamed for purchasing glasses that weren’t from them. All my concerns about how I was feeling (getting headaches, being dizzy, not being able to see clearly at times) went in one ear and out the other! According to them it had to be the fault of something else and wouldn’t even consider the fact the prescription could’ve been wrong. I was extremely upset because of the way I was being talked down to and being dismissed. I can’t speak much about the main store as I couldn’t afford what they had to offer, but when I was in there to check and for any other problems they were always EXTREMELY kind and helpful! I can’t really recommend buying from their store in general because of how overpriced everything is but if you want to buy from there or can afford it anyways at least you’ll be met with kind people who will listen to you and your needs. tldr: optometrist was rude and unwilling to hear the concerns of patient. blamed patient instead of making sure that the fault didn’t lay on their own mistake. main store overpriced glasses but very kind and helpful

They upsell you. I purchased a pair of perscrition safety glasses from LC in 2014. I paid $450.00. I went back to them this year to have the LH arm repaired. They said I had to purchase a new pair of glasses/frames. I shopped around and got a new frame with same lenses for $100.00. Advice: do not take LC's advice without shopping around.

I had a hard time finding a lense that fit my face and the girls took their time with me and I tried on almost every pair! I had to get a screw put in my frame because it fell out, I popped in the store and once again they were eager to help me out and sent me on my way! Good as new. 10 out of 10 recommended
