phoned to see if I could come in to get fitted for my first set of prescription glasses, and there isn't even an optometrist there today. And no mention on the person I talked to as to when they might be returning. Helpful..? ahh I still can't see so.... NO! Can not comment on competency at their jobs or how you may be treated in person, I may have to write another review extolling their personal and professional efforts. Don't hold your breath the one star is for answering the phone and not letting it go to voice mail and not telling me to "check the website"

Always have a pleasant experience here. The secretary could be a little friendlier other than that I have no complaints. Takes about two weeks for your glasses, if it’s longer than they may have a backorder. No issues getting glasses fixed or tightened.

Overal experience was absolutely poor. Staff members are in serious need of training in customer service. Reception lady has an arrogant personality, judging by class/looks and very unhelpful. It took 3 visits to have the reading glasses needed. I almost did not receive them until I started talking about how I basically donated $150. to the office. It was not my intent to have to be abrupt, I just wanted to have proper vision while reading with prescribed eye glasses and not the $6. Temps I had to purchase in the meantime. The optometrist was pleasant on my first visit, service was nice but my needs for reading glasses was some how not clear during the appointment. Second visit she may have been offended I needed a second visit as no changes were made. Third visit we had clear communication. Gentleman upfront made me feel incompetent as if I did not know the purpose of reading glasses. Will not go into any further detail than that. I was expecting an overall better quality of service. I suggest visiting the Gregory optical on Wharncliffe if you need to go to Gregory, staff is more pleasant, same price ranges and they have a better selection on eye wear.

Pleasant experience here. I even broken the arm off my work glasses so I just walked in there and they fixed them fast and for free. Great prices too. Excellent customer service.

I asked a simple question to the lady taking the phone calls and was treated very rudely, and was asked to go elsewhere to make an eye appointment, as someone whose working in an administrative position this is absolutely horrible customer service!!!!!!!!!! this needs to be brought to attention.

Called a week ago. No response. Google and site says they are open monday. Go in the doors to be told they are closed. Not courteous enough to call back and s waste of gas and time because they can not update their site.

Over all amazing experiences everytime I have gone in. I got my first pair of glasses in 10 years, and within the same week they unfortunately got bent out of shape. I walked in and my glasses were fixed right away, thank you again and I will make sure I recommend to whoever I can!

I suspect most of their business is through local business and safety glasses. My experience with attempting to get safety glasses was far from professions, respectful, or competent. An eye test where payment is required up front even though it is through a benefits / employer contract. The client is allowed to select frames and the order is made. My lenses were put into the wrong frames and apparently, Gregory's Optical is beyond mistakes. Somehow, it is all my fault for my lenses being placed into the wrong frames. Five trips to this place and laid out 80 dollars cash.... still no safety glasses.... They are Dundas and Clarke and that is exactly where they belong! I hope my employer does not pay for safety glasses that I have returned to them. Yikes. Pass, save yourself and ? your staff this sad experience!

Come to this place on a recommendation of a friend. Kim was helping me picking out the glasses. One thing to sum it up about Kim is ....she cares and it shows!!!! When you care, customers will see it. I picked it up a few days later, met the older gentleman there, he adjusted my glasses perfectly the first time and fixed my old glasses for free. PS, their prices are better than other places, would highly recommend this place.

When I was younger I had to be on assistance for a little while until I could finish school, went here for glasses, Gregory's was the only place in London that didn't treat me like garbage, and would take Ontario works benefits. Since then I have always came here, the glasses are affordable and always well done. No matter your budget, they have something for you and they won't treat you like garbage. The staff is always friendly, and helpful. My glasses have always fit good, and lasted a long time. If you want to be treated right, go here!

Will not be returning here. The administration staff lacks professionalism. Called numerous times to cancel and reschedule an appointment. There was never any answer, straight to a message that the person is not taking calls at this time. I finally got through and the woman hung up when I said cancel. They still called me the day before my canceled appointment. Stay away from here.

I took my daughter here years ago, when she was only 14 months old, and they did an excellent job finding her properly fitted glasses. It is so difficult to find an optometrist who understands how childrens glasses are supposed to fit. Her eyes were perfectly centered in the lenses, bridge was a great fit, and the arms never bothered her ears. We would still be going here if we hadn't moved away.

The receptionist lady is very unpleasant treated me extremely poorly, the older gentleman that ordered my glasses totally butchered what I wanted I did NOT get what I wanted and he insisted that it would be proper considering I went there with full intentions that they were going to support me with my needs they did not fulfil my needs at all instead they took my money. I will for sure be boycotting this place I had wished I had checked the reviews before going to this place cause looking at the reviews I would of never went there and wasted my money.

Charged me to replace a part on 5 month old safety glasses, part was of poor quality and deteriorated , replaced with new part of same quality, should have better replacement parts and should be under warranty

You have taken the one day that I could get safety glasses and closed the store. I work 9 - 5:30 in St. Thomas and now have to go where I'm not comfortable to get glasses. Poor service for the rest of the working world. No stars from me, was the only way to post.

A bad day with a great service. I accidentally step on my prescription eyeglasses when I woke up in the morning good thing still on warranty. Brock the young fellow help to fixed it on the same day so I can still have something to use, and he place an order replacement right away. I taught it will takes longer but just the following day I got call from their receptionist that my eyeglasses replacement ready already. I came the following day Brock did it on the same day again.
