There are so many things that I love about this office! I have never seen someone as dedicated and determined as Heather to making sure my lenses fit, were comfortable, affordable and durable. Heather is always professional, compassionate and friendly. She worked within what was comfortable for me and was always transparent about the costs as well as the benefits and cons of each lens that I was interested in. It took me a few appointments because I was god awful hard on my lenses but each appointment Heather was patient and willing to try different lenses until I was satisfied with the results. The staff are also friendly and welcoming, they are on the ball and work like a well oiled machine. I will always come back to this office as it is amazing and I always receive excellent service and I have never had an unpleasant experience. Heather is one of the few opticians who can fit rigid gas permeable contacts for those who, like myself, suffer from severe astigmatism. These folks have been around for a long time, have seen it all, and know their business inside and out. Especially highly recommended for new and first-time contact lens wearers.

I have been a client for 10 years and I would recommend CLS. A few years back I got frustrated as Heather seemed to have a hard time finding the perfect fit for me (I wear gas permeable lenses) and even though the lenses seemed fine to me she kept bringing me back for adjustments (at no cost). As I am very busy I got fed up with all of the appointments and decided to try my luck elsewhere the next time I needed lenses. This was a disaster! I discovered that NO ONE else in Winnipeg can fit RGP lenses (even if they say they can). I spent a lot of money on unwearable lenses and ended up back at Contact Lens Services with my tail between my legs. Things are still slow with the fittings but I have a new perspective now! The office can be a bit disorganized at times, but I have faith in Heather!

Service felt like they didn't know what exactly they were doing, got terrible product that I couldn't even see through, and they ripped me off $$,making me pay for product that didn't work. So overall iffy service, terrible product and chances are they will rip you off.

I am a person with a complicated prescription that has been wearing glasses since I was six years old and started with hard lenses in 1970.. so in my life time I have seen many doctors, eye glass fitters and contact lens fitters. (Awnie out did them all). As time went on the hard lenses became unbearable to wear so I switched to soft lenses resulting in not as good vision. Upon dropping in at contact lens services for a check up...Awnie suggested the scleral hard lens. Recalling how uncomfortable my old hard lenses were...I was reluctant to try them. With Heather's assistance...Awnie was patient and persistent to make them work for me....and she succeeded. My vision has improved significantly and with comfort...8 to 10 hours per day. Thank u Awnie and Heather for very good customer satisfaction...

Everything in this office is outdated. Spent 3 hours with the technician. Not only was she uncleanly, (blowing her nose and then attempting to put a contact in my eye) she was unable to fit me properly. At one point she put a second contact in my eye without removing the first one ... After 3 hours I still couldn't read the bottom line and then she had the gull to still try and charge me? Terrible outfit. Take your business elsewhere.

This place is a joke, and the people who run it are clowns. Not only was the doctor rude and unprofessional, the personnel didn't appear to know what they were doing. In addition, the whole office in general was disorganized and had a third rate appearance. To top it all off they broke my expensive contact lens (200+ dollars) and failed to give me any compensation but a refund on my consultation (which was covered by insurance anyway). Now I am writing this having wasted an afternoon, lost 200+ dollars, and half blind because of the loss of my lens. I will however pass on the one jewel of wisdom they gave me: "Wash your contact lens case weekly". But seriously, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

As a first time contact lens wearer I came in with many questions and a few doubts, but Heather’s knowledge and professionalism made all the difference. They also did a great job accommodating my schedule and HSA claim deadline.
