For a kiosk, there's a good selection of frames available. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My glasses weren't ready immediately due to my strong prescription. I was there on a Sunday and had my glasses Tuesday. I'm very happy with the new glasses.

Poor experience. One lens was wrong as in not my prescription. Although they replaced it through the process of “trying to adjust” to it for two weeks, then initiating a prescription check on the lens, I never once felt valued as a customer. And I’ve tried to reach out via email to the owner with no responses. I may try another Second Specs but not this one. UPDATE I am pleased to report the owner himself connected with me and offered a solution as well as an explanation for the problem. I always appreciate a business that stands behind their staff and customers. They now have a return customer!

From the first visit to my last, the staff at Second Specs in St Albert Centre were nothing short of outstanding!!!! Extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful all the way. Bought frames elsewhere. No one else will touch them. Paid a $10 deductible to cover the cost up to $300 for the frames. No brainer. Have had two sets of glasses done for less than half of what other places charge. Veronika in St. Albert is the best!

We were greeted by Hoda who was knowledgeable and helpful. She did not rush me or push to sell. She was marvellous. When what I thought was my prescription but turned out to be a receipt for my contact lenses she provided me information on how to proceed with the purchase and she would arrange for the prescription. She kept me informed as to the progress of my prescription while we were waiting and had everything done efficiently. I went to pick up my glasses today and although she did not help me , she did say hello and was very friendly. Her co-worker who helped me today was equally as friendly and professional. I highly recommend this establishment!

This eye glass outlet is an amazing supplier. This is my second time I used their services to replace my eyewear. Rose (Technician), even though she was fairly new at her job, was very efficient at determining my optical prescription using personal data supplied and helped me select the frames based on my requirements. Within 35 minutes, the glasses were ready while I shopped in the mall. Once final fitting adjustments were done and I was on my way. If you are looking for excellent quality, great eyewear and lens choice selection at costs 40% of other suppliers, this is the place. I will be back when I require another set of glasses. Please do not think that lower eyeglass prices at Second Specs mean you are purchasing a lower quality.

Ordered glasses from the WEM location and they sent the up to the St. Albert location so I wouldn’t have to brave WEM during busy, close to Christmas shopping season. The alternative pick up location was super nice and appreciated! They have a great selection of frames and their prices are very reasonable for a place that’s in the middle of a mall (not a full store). The staff at the St. Albert location (and the WEM upstairs location) were incredibly helpful and friendly! Would definitely recommend them and would buy from them again!

I was pleasantly surprised with this kiosk. I came in wanting to get a new pair of frames and my sales associate, Reilly, was very helpful! She was super friendly, and very helpful in helping me to pick out which frames worked the best for my face shape. With my frames and lenses, it all came to only about $120..and after that I was sold! My glasses were done with about 30 minutes after I paid and were ready for pick up. So far I have recieved a ton of compliments on my glasses, and am more then happy with the results! If you are looking to change up your glasses, I 100% recommend coming here :)

Having recently lost my original eyewear, I stopped at Second Specs a few days before Christmas. All I had was the paperwork and prescription from my original pair. The young lady was knowledgable and helpful with frames I needed to match as close as possible my previous eyewear. Shortly after Christmas the glasses were ready. The fit and precision of the new pair are awesome. It’s like my original pair. And pricing was about 50% of what I paid vs. the competition. Impressed allround. I’ll use Second Sorcs in the future. Great work.

Haven’t bought anything from them (yet) but wow I am blown away!! I was walking in the mall and stopped to look at the selection out of curiousity. The selection is great, but the price is even better. Once I walked up and started looking I was greeted with a smile right away. I spent a while trying on glasses, and i had told the young girl named Reilly that I wasn’t going to buy today because i don’t need glasses, but she still helped me with a smile after I asked her questions. I ended up trying so many pairs on, and i found a huge variety of ones that i absolutely loved and she gave me her card that had all the frames I liked written on it, so when i come back I can try them on again. I’m thoroughly impressed with the service Reilly gave me, she was very very knowledgeable, mature, and so kind. Some of the best service I’ve gotten. Definitely will be back to purchase.

Went here for some new, less expensive glasses. Ended up leaving with 2 pairs of prescription glasses & 1 pair of prescription sunglasses. Super cute styles to choose from, super affordable price and great staff! Got these 3 pairs for less than you would spend on 1 pair elsewhere! They also got 1 pair of my glasses done in 30 minutes so they were ready for me to take home immediately. The others will be done in 3-4 days! Awesome place, would absolutely recommend for anyone on a budget!
