I was in town with my you g family and my 10 year olds rear brake broke. I called ahead and they squeezed me in so the entire day was not wasted. All the staff was polite and fair. I also found a coat that was very well priced. I appreciated the helpful, no pressure culture of this shop. They also did great work for my sons bike.

Came in because a screw fell off of my shifter. A small friendly Aussie with long brown hair and a black toque (sorry I didn't catch his name) was super helpful and fixed me right up in a few minutes at no charge. I will be back for gear and more serious repairs thanks to this favour and the great service.

Great store. Guys there spent a solid 10 mins chopping 5 cm off my poles so they fit me, didn't try and convince to buy a more expensive pair, just did the work. Good selection of demos at good prices as well. Absolutely a go-to in town for ski or bike gear.

When the family and I are in Revelstoke a trip to Skookum is always in order. After 6 knee surgeries I was eager to get back on the mountain bike and Mike played a big role in getting my wife and me back on the trails. He advised me on some great bikes and offered a great and fair price. One year later he and his team stand by the bikes. Arranged for a service for our 4 bikes while in town. The tune ups were done expertly and efficiently. The team at Skookum are all knowlegeable, friendly and eager to help. If you are renting bikes, buying one or getting stoked for ski season Skookum is the place to be. I can't say enough good things about this place. Check it out and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Only downfall of this place is they are often so busy it's hard to pay. Great service. Staff are beyond knowledgeable, they have insight. I was able to pick up some winter gloves here out of season today and not only did they have options, but the staff helped me make a choice based on my specifc needs. This sounds so basic but I can assure you it is a lost art in retail. Have never been disappointed here.

Outstanding service, friendly advice on local trails and rides! Needed a part for one of our family’s bikes - had the part, fitted it for free and even adjusted the tire pressure and checked over the rest of the bike to make sure my daughter was good-to-go. Two thumbs up for a local shop!

Checked this place out for the first time to buy a new saddle for my bike and was super impressed. There were no seats out on display yet (pre-season) and the fella working went out of his way downstairs and came back up with a full box to choose from. He even showed me the ones that were on sale first instead of trying to push the pricier ones. I will be using this shop for all of my bike needs in Revelstoke. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Went in to demo some skis, guy was super nice and helpful. unfortunately I didn’t get to use them for the day, so I went to go return them and was told I still had to pay 45$ for demos I didn’t even get to use. After hearing from friends who live in town and have even worked here, I shouldn’t have had to pay in the first place for demos. Was pretty disappointed. Won’t be returning on my next trip to buy from here.

Had a bootfitting with Mikey to bring my old alpine shells back to life with a new pair of Intuition liners. After 3 visits total for some additional punching/heat baking and a few ski days he has my boots fitting better than ever. Staff were very patient to my concerns and interests, not pushy at all on any new products. Mikey is a seasoned bootfitter id recommend to anyone, ill be back eventually for a new pair of AT boots in a few years!

We called in to see if 2 bikes could get a tune up. We were told to bring them in right away and they would try and fit them in. Dropped them off, we said we would wait 2 hours and told them which bike was the priority. They had our number and were to call when done. Waited 2 hours, they never touched the bikes and never bothered to tell us they weren’t going to fix them. Terrible service. In Kamloops we got what we needed and told them about Skookum service. They said they have heard nothing but bad as well. Avoid them, waste of time.

Excellent customer service, particularly this guy named Sandy. Went in to get a pair of touring boots, and received 1-on-1 service for 2 hours. He helped me through the buying process and was pretty friendly. Very informative staff, definitely going to purchase all of my ski gear here from now on.

Top notch service! On a whim, I decided to try a pair of ski boots on that were on sale. Riley took the time to ask questions and analyze issues that I have had and then figure out what boots would be the best fit, both for my feet and for performance. It was clear he was passionate about finding the right boot and fixing 30 years of issues I’ve had, even after he knew I wouldn’t be purchasing from them due to timing. Quality local shops like this are priceless!

The crew at Skookum are very knowledgable and the service is consistently excellent. Often very busy, but for a good reason! Skookum carry a great range of backcountry essentials too. In particular a huge thanks to Mike for spending a lot of time on custom footbeds over multiple visits. I'm a splitboarder and had real trouble finding any snowboard stores that could assist besides offering a crappy cut-to-fit generic footbed. They are perfect - I never thought my riding could be so noticeably improved through tinkering with the footbeds!

Called this shop four minutes before they closed (like any terrible person would) and they booked me for a fork service appointment the very next day after someone else had cancelled. They had it back to me an hour after I had dropped it off, charged me a very, very reasonable price for the service done, and the fork feels incredible. Absolutely saved the day. Six stars is a more accurate rating. Side note, shop is well stocked and looks great. Think I’ll stop in and buy one of their hats on my way home.

They failed completely in mounting a Rossignol binding.. I wanted to do it on my own (was just in need of the tools in my holidays) and after 10years of doing professional downhill skiing as well as participating in the worldcup for two seasons i could have shown your technician how to do it in a proper way, but he thought that he knew better. Anyway it's a cool shop and they got nice gloves for my girl..

Awesome experience.I went in to ask about a snowboard, they took time to figure out what I needed, and explained the difference in snowboard technology from 2006 :) they didn't have any boots that fit me so recommended an other shop that would be more likely to have something, and gave me some tips on what i should look for.
