Exceptional staff, selection and quality! Ryan and his team welcome everyone that walks in like family. Rather than walls of the same glasses you see at every store they hand select from an abundant variety of unique and high quality frames, patiently helping you find the perfect fit for you. They were able to tell me the story of each brand, including personal relationships with the designers. Ryan's passion for eye wear was amazing, his knowledge about the entire process from choosing designers, to selecting and shaping the right lenses and coatings was fascinating. As a first time wearer, I went to nearly every store in the city and just saw more of the same every time, Ryan's unique selection, knowledge and passion made the purchase easy and fun! Got my glasses and sunglasses from here about 5 years ago and they are still going strong. They are MATSUDA M3028 and M3008. At this point, these have more than recovered their initial investment which is what it was. An investment. I considered how often I wear my glasses and how they may as well be a part of my face as much as my nose is. I also considered that if you spend the time and money to get eyewear that sings, it becomes an iconic part of who you are. As an example of what I mean, consider Edna Mode from the Incredibles moves. If you had to sketch her I imagine her eyewear would be in the top 3 things you would include. In conclusion, much like tires, mattresses, and shoes if you wear glasses more than once a month it is well worth your time and money to get a pair that will last and be quintessentially "you". SPEX provides this in spades. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
