Hallie was an amazing help getting my glasses picked out fitted and provided me with a great customer experience, it had felt like I was the only one in the store. Amongst picking out my glasses and getting me all arranged once I had made my choice my glasses had showed up in a very timely manner came in sooner than what I was told and hallie helped me get them all fitted for comfort, very kind and polite experience from this employee. Will be back again for my glasses because of the hospitality and personal experience

Had the greatest service at Factory Optical, I was hesitant to go but was pleasantly surprised with wonderful customer service and the best selection of Frames that I have seen in Regina! Every staff member I encountered was friendly and made sure I was taken care of. The man that helped me through the sale, I believe was Mike and he had so much knowledge on frames and lenses it made my decision a lot easier. Thank you Factory Optical!

I am not sure why previous reviews say bad customer service??? I went in today with my new prescription. I was assisted after a mere 30 seconds wait. I was shown the range of frames and was assisted in choosing. It was fantastic when I liked a frame and was told no. It's so refreshing to get great advice so we did the deal the same day. The store is beautiful too. Really wonderful experience. Thanks all.

This happened last fall but I was just thinking about my experience while looking at the useless pair of safety glasses on my desk. I was bound by a contract from my workplace that I use their services for safety glasses. I came in with an updated prescription and asked them to just cut me new lenses for my current safety frames which I had gotten from them a few years prior. Once my lenses were at the store, they discovered that they were cut for the wrong set of frames. Needing safety glasses to do my job, I asked if they had any of that frame in stock I could use while they ordered a replacement . "Not at this location." This was followed by silence. So I say "is there a way to get a rush on the correct lenses?" "No." "Can you get the frames from the other location then?" "We'll have to call. We'll call and let you know!" So I leave and continue to leave parts of my job not done since I need safety lenses to do them. I call back a few days later and they again offer me no resolution. At this point I voice my displeasure and am again met with apathy. I try to speak with the person in charge of these things and she's never seeming to be around. Once the correct size lenses are in, I come in again, get them into the frames, and take them back with me. Sidenote: I have pretty harsh astigmatism which tends to make all lenses behave somewhat different when I wear them, so they always feel a bit weird on the first couple of wears but my eyes adjust quickly. These lenses were no exception to feeling weird so I take them back to work with me and begin using them right away. Only after a couple of days it dawns on me why the vision in my left eye isn't improving. The lens is clearly cut wrong. Nothing but blur. My regular glasses and my sunglasses do not cause this with my left eye. So I call, once again, and am offered no resolution. I again voice my displeasure and am once again met with apathy. If my company treated customers like this I'd be appalled. It was at this point I've written my frames off and they sit on my desk now, collecting dust while I continue to wear lenses that offer considerably less protection while I work. Never again will I get any products or services from this business. I recommend you avoid them at all costs.

Recently purchased two pairs of glasses from them and I am pleasantly surprised. It was quick and easy and arrived less than a week later. I had an idea of what frame I wanted and the assistant there helped me find the frame that fit me. I would recommend them. My daughter also has glasses from there and they were able to replace them after they were damaged. Overall pleased with my experience!

Since they moved from Victoria and Winnipeg, customer service has suffered. My wife was put off for under a month, with replacement of lenses, with in mail, lost them, came in 4 times not ready. need to get their act together. be truthful when they don't know. going elsewhere and will spread the negative customer feedback.

I had a pair of glasses I purchased from Factory Optical in need of a new lens. The repair was going to be expensive because my glasses were discontinued, so I purchased new glasses. New glasses and sunglasses arrived in about two weeks, so they called me. I came to the shop excited to see my new glasses. I was treated like a leper. I was sat down shown my outstanding balance and a payment terminal. Once payment had cleared, I was given my new glasses, cheap cases and all, then shown the door! Deal breaker was today. I called because I was going to reschedule my eye exam because the roads are bad out this way and more snow is coming. I wasn't asked to leave a message, I was asked to email a message, my wife and I had to listen 4 times to understand the email address! So guess what, I got to read that I'm not the only person that wasn't happy. It also showed me that Factory Optical isn't the only place in Regina to care for my eyes. That said goodbye, I hope you figure out who is ruining your reputation with the unprofessional attitudes .

Expensive and poor quality. All 4 of our family members got glasses here totaling 8 pair. Some had loose creaky frames and the lenses were never quite right. They just felt cheap. Got better quality at Walmart

The customer service here is absolutely terrible! they treat you like they are doing you a huge favor by being there and act very snobby. especially the manager - (blonde lady) she is extremely rude and not helpful at all and will make extremely rude comments about any questions or problems you have . in addition to this, i was told that i could get a new pair of lenses for free within two years and once i ordered the replacement lenses within the two year period they told me they would place the order and let me know by calling me once the replacement lenses came in. they never called me and now its "too late to order the new lenses". because of these experiences at this location i will never go back again and i will tell friends & family to do the same.

I highly recommend Factory Optical! Great eye doctor and amazing customer service! I had 2 or 3 different people come and ask if I was ok or if I needed help with choosing the right frames! I look forward to getting my new glasses when they're in! The last time (2 years ago) was also a good experience!

Probably will never go back. I can't say the customer service was bad because it didn't exist. Tried on glasses for about 20 mins and no one bothered to talk to us. I would Recommend FYI Eye Doctors across the street in the Vic Square Mall instead.

If I could give these people a 0 I would. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They look and talk to you like you are lower than the ground they walk on. Snobby sales girls that act like you are invading their personal time. Roll their eyes at you. Could not be further from great sales people. They need a slap of humble with some training on how to treat people, all people. They are providing a service people need, however they do not need to shop there. I for one have had 3 bad experiences, only kept going because of selection, but got better glasses online for a fraction of the cost with out the snooty nosed looks. Won't go there again and will never recomend.

Went there two days ago, after my dog chewed my only pair of glasses. I asked for some help from a young woman and she pointed at an area, said "those are the women's frames" and when I asked if they were placed by price, she ignored that and told me the price range instead. She then turned her back to me and at that point I decided to try to find some myself, couldn't see well through all of the stickers and taking pictures to see what I looked like were not working as the lenses were too reflective for my phone camera. I gave up and left. I went to the location in Rochdale and had a much better experience. They actually helped me pick two frames, within my budget, and all within half an hour. I will not come here again. This is the location off of university park drive.

Purchased glasses from here was not happy with the perception in one set took them back on two occasions and was told I will get use to them the second time I was very vocal about my discomfort as I can’t even drive with them on... here I am a year later when my one set has been badly scratched to the point I cannot wear them and I’m taking back these frames with brand new lenses to be replaced. As I can’t justify buying new frames for a pair of glasses that hasn’t seen two weeks of use due to massive headaches that my eye did not in-fact get use to, after reading some of the views I have defiantly confirmed the issue I see reviews on here of the owner chining in that this is not an issue that happens in your stores... well from one business owner to another it most defiantly did and for this guy I will spend my money at another location from now on, Been a client since I was 12 I wish I wouldn’t have waited so long to write this review but I was just about to purchase a new pair and remember how bad this experience was.

Beware the 2 for 1 deal. Two very basic pairs with coatings will still cost you $500. You're honestly better off going to Walmart or ordering online. Also, if your spouse wants non-prescription sunglasses that is not included in the 2 for 1 deal. The existing lenses in all sunglasses must be replaced with a prescription for it to be included. Deceptive tactics.

I have been getting my glasses and contacts from Factory Optical for as long as I can remember... but these last few visits have been terrible. Long wait times. Uncomfortable space. Clueless & in compassionate staff. They have nice, expensive products but the customer service was not worth giving them my valuable time (which was wasted) and hard-earned money. Never going back... EVER.

I like the selection of glasses but my glasses took way to long to get here. I’m very disappointed since I called after it took a very long time. They said it would only take two days more and about 3 or 4 days later I called again and they didn’t explain anything they just said it would be here in another week. On top of that the ladies weren’t the nicest to me. Not happy with this.

This time, Hallie and another colleague of hers helped me and they got me set up with eye appointment, contact fitting, and glasses all in one shot efficiently. I recently went in to East location to fit some contact lenses as I often require them for sport purposes. Raman was my contact fitter and he was a delight to work with. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and patient in working with me (even though it took me forever to figure out how to put contacts in, lol). I would highly recommend this establishment and Raman in specific. Overall, the building was very clean and the staff was professional. Also, there was an associate by the name of Ali who helped me when I came back to pick-up my contact order who was also very helpful. Good people, full of smiles. 5 stars.

Worst service ever. When my glasses were ready, usually they check and adjust them accordingly so they’re comfortable, I was literally handed my glasses and waved out the door. Their markup in prices is ridiculous, I went to a different place to see if they could order the same frames, they could, and at half the price. So, really not a two-for-one deal. Really fast paced, I felt unimportant as a customer. The manager (or one of) is really unpleasant to work with, and has a terrible attitude in general from how I heard her dealing with other customers (Idk about you, but I wouldn’t like to hear how someone thinks the glasses I like were ‘ugly’).. no respect for the customer whatsoever, only about profit.

First time ever shopping at Factory Optical, and it will most likely not be my last. The selection of different brands is awesome, as well as, I appreciate the quantity of different styles to choose from. During the process of buying my glasses, I was assisted by three different sales staff at different times offering advice and service. If at all possible, don't bother going to this place on Saturdays. It is too busy, and while the staff try to help everybody, you end up having to wait quite a long time. They are open on Sundays and Thursday evenings, so save yourself the frustration and go then.

My mom took my little sister first time was to get the glasses she purchased from there fixed and they used scotch tape! Second time was to get a new pair since they aren’t capable of properly fixing glasses and they were treated terribly. Staff are SO rude. We’ve been going there for years and never experienced customer service like that!

Terrible service! I was in there for at least 10 minutes trying on glasses. I took pictures of myself with my phone , tried over 20 pairs and not 1 person came to ask me if I needed help. Obviously the staff thinks their time is better spent breaking down boxes at the front desk then helping potential customers.

It is January 11th 2022, I need new glasses. Went here as I always have since I could remember. Customer service was garbage. My family and I live out of town about 40 minute drive. I needed to get my eyes checked for the prescription I need. They told me the lady leaves at 5pm. It was 4:30pm by the time we picked out the 2 frames, and they told me they shut down for the day. I explained to them I live out of town, and it's very difficult to hall around 2 kids 40 minutes away and seeing that we still have 30 minutes till the lady is off. They did not seem to care at all, nor would they give any positive customer service towards us. As I said earlier, I've been getting glasses there since we had a factory optical in Regina. Customer service use to be a good thing there, but now it's gone down hill.

Terrible service, their premium lenses are garbage, and I'm 95% percent confident my prescription is wrong. Their 2 for 1 "deal" is a pure gimmick. I wont buy there again.

I went in 2 weeks ago to get glasses for my mom. We bought 2 pairs and they were extremely helpful. Went in today to pick up glasses, and the service we received was not the same. They were a bit rude as my mom was trying to adjust to her new glasses. Won't be going back there again. Not for my own glasses or the rest of my family's.

I have never like more of an inconvenience. Upon entering the store there was a middle age blonde lady sitting at the desk. I was not acknowledged until I sat down. I told her that i was there to get safety glasses. She stood up and grabbed the cases of glasses and put them in front of me. She continued to do what ever she was doing on the computer, while I looked at the selection. I sat there for 20 minutes, with out being taken looked after and then I got up and left. As a business owner myself, I would be extremely embarrassed of the way my staff was treating my potential customers. I can understand that certain times of the day are busier than others. However, there was no one else in the store and there were other staff members. I had dealt with the east location in the past but I will not be returning.

This is the first year in more than a decade of buying glasses from here that I chose to take my business elsewhere. Customer service at this location is the absolute worst. My friend and I went in today to try on some glasses, no one greeted us, no one helped us. A lady came running, and yelling at us saying they need to santize glasses so heres a bin for the try ons. As she walked away, she continued to gawk at us and made us feel incredibly unwelcome. Had she actually provided us with customer service and wasnt so unbearabley rude, you guys could have made 500 dollars. Two years ago i had a great experience, not sure whats happened since, but I definitely wont be back to this loctaion.

Looked at glasses for 20 minutes with ZERO service. My fiancé walked over to the men’s section and was greeted and asked if he needed help. My Fiancé said no but my girlfriend does as she’s looking for new glasses. The worker said oh ok and walked away and did not come to assist me. Are men not aloud to help women find glasses? Bought a groupon with intention of getting glasses but I don’t think I will be using it or going back.

Very poor customer service here. Don’t go here shopping for glasses for a child. I bought a pair in April for my two year old that were almost $400 in the end. No one came to help me and I ended up chasing my son around the store trying different pairs on him having no idea what size he was. The pair I ended up with were too big in the end. I went to Walmart super centre optical today to replace them, they were so helpful there and great price too! Do your research before buying glasses, this place is horrible, I learnt my lesson and will never shop here again.

Was not listened to when I went in for adjustments the first two times and the third time, I was told to just push the glasses all the way up my nose so that the frame was on the absolute top of the bridge of my nose. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL BY THEIR "CUSTOMER SERVICE "
