We recently became new customers of the Eye Studio and were very impressed with the professionalism and competency of Dr Tedra Kindopp, who was very thorough with the tests that were required and took time with us to explain the findings. We feel in great hands. The atmosphere is welcoming and everyone was very friendly, especially Esther who helped me decide on a new pair of glasses, she has a very nice manner and was helpful patient and kind. The staff at The Eye Studio are exceptional. They go above and beyond. I had Kayla helping my son and I with purchasing and being fit for glasses and it was like working with family. The Eye Studio not only does eye exams, but they really care about your eyes and your vision. I know that my family and I are in good hands.

First fitting was exceptional service and satisfaction. Second set of prescription safety glasses have me instant headaches. When I called in for advice, I was told "your brain has to adjust..." Guess what... Over a year later, the new glasses are unused on the shelf, I'm wearing my OLD glasses still, my brain is fine, and my family has re-adjusted our optometry patronage elsewhere... ... So disappointed..... ????

Absolutely 5*!! SO very happy we were referred to The Eye Studio by our optometrist with the recommendation of their vision therapy program for our son. From vision therapy, to our daughter's eye patching being corrected from the "old school" approach and then also the cause of frequent eye infections for myself figured out, our family has benefited tremendously from their practice. Dr. Kindopp and Dr. Holtom have built an amazing team around them, offering some pretty incredible treatments and therapies.

He had a student working alongside him at the time I went and I loved watching the way he was involving her in the appointment! Definitely someone to learn from! Love the Eye Studio! Our family has been making the drive to Red Deer ( from YEG) to see Dr. Holtom and team for many years. Dr. Holtom takes care of more than just your "sight" - he is able to identify and support your vision and how this even relates to an individual's day to day functioning. For example he noticed my child at age 8 wasn't meeting certain developmental milestones with her vision and, as it turned out, this was affecting school performance - as a result he brought attention to something not previously identified by any type of learning assessment. It changed the way we supported her learning at school. I'm talking about more than "seeing the board" , it was how visual information was being processed by her brain. Of course this is all my interpretation of "behavioural optometry" it's best to speak to Dr. H directly. His clinic is staffed with a vision therapist who is wonderful with children. Our family also always buys frames and lenses from the Eye Studio. The staff are very knowledgeable about various types of lenses and trends in frames...it is great to have the help of a professional to help you see better and choose frames that suit your lifestyle and fashion needs! I very much appreciate this aspect of the business! I highly recommend the Eye Studio!
