It's not worth going here. The 2 stars are for the nice reception, but everything felt rushed and the exams were not done thoroughly. I've been going to different vision centers in different cities, but they're the only ones that only took 5 minutes to do the eye exam, and didn't talk to me about my astigmatism. When the doctor was doing the eye exam, he just asked if I see the letters on the screen, which is only one size, and moved on to the other eye. He didn't try to thoroughly check if there's a better lens prescription, like how I've had my exams done. I don't know if the prescription they've given me is accurate. I have to get a second opinion to be sure. It feels like I've been robbed. I'm never going back. Update: My eye exam got rescheduled and I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Liamzon. She truly cared for her patient based on the exams she conducted, and how she carefully explained to me how the exams would work and what they entail. I can truly trust the new prescription she gave me. If you end up booking an appointment here, I would recommend requesting Dr. Liamzon.

Optometrists are fantastic and really explain to you what is going on with your eyes, going as far as showing you your 3D char result/scan and showing where the damage is. I felt very informed and understood my eye condition better after leaving. That being said, some of the receptionists are very unprofessional and rude. Particularly the older women who seem like they're irritated being asked to simply do their job. I mean, asking for your prescription because you don't remember it isn't an uncommon request.. but the one woman made it seem like it was an annoyance for her. She spoke to both my fiance and I like we were a nuisance and was extremely cutting with her tone. No smile, no "Have a nice day" (we even said it as we left!); I work in customer service.. this is basic stuff. When we asked about getting contact lenses she looked at us like we had three heads and said we'd have to come and meet a specialist and then said in the most stern, somewhat sassy, tone "And he's gone for 2 weeks". Not impressed and we'll just be ordering our contact lenses online instead.

I found a pair of frames at another store that were much more expensive than I wanted. I decided to shop around and came to Jan. I showed her a picture of the frames from the other store and she instantly pulled multiple frames just like that within my price range. Furthermore, I loved them and they fit my face properly, which was a challenge with my nose bridge and cheeks. I couldn't be happier and saved myself about $500. I get compliments on my glasses all the time now!

Best eye clinic I've ever been to! This clinic is near where I work so when I woke with extreme eye pain I called them and they said come right in. The staff were so kind and professional (one lady even gave me dark glasses to borrow while I was in the office) and the doctors I've seen so far (Ziad & Ryan) are very knowledgeable about eye disease and the causes and treatments, explaining the causes and effects clearly. I will be going here for my eye exams in the future and switching from the other mall. My family will be switching to Hauck as well for their vision needs.

I had some minor concerns about my sight a few years ago. I went to a highly recommend sports optometrist in Sherwood Park. After waiting almost 2 hours and explaining my concerns I was given the all clear and sent on my way. My concerns didn't worsen but something was still off. This time my appointment was at Hauck Vision...and this time I had three young children with me. I was a few minutes early and didn't wait even one minute. The Dr. listened to my minor concerns and she didn't think they were something to worry about. As my exam went on she took some time to push things a little further saying that because of my concerns and what she was seeing, although slight, she wanted to take a little more time to investigate my sight. She found that one of my eyes are nearsighted and one is farsighted. She even took some time to look at my babies development even though I hadn't booked her in. 5 stars and no more migraines!

I went here because I felt like I had something in my eye for over a week. They got me in promptly, and successfully removed an annoying black spec that would not work its own way out. I am very grateful to these professionals and am happy to report that it no longer feels like I have glass in my eye, and my vision is completely normal. Thank you Dr. Ziad. I have been a client at this business for many years, (for the optical side of the business). I have always had good service; on occasion, I may have had to wait for that service, as there were others ahead of me, but at my turn, I was given the same due care and diligence. When I ordered my last set of lenses I noted that the lenses I preferred (Nikon) tended to scratch easily and loose their coating. The optician suggested a newer type to me that tend to keep their coating and I wouldn't need to "baby" the lenses. (ie only use the cleaning cloth to clean the lenses- (because sometimes you are away from that cloth and your lenses are in need of attention) but that I could use a towel or tissue as well without advere affects to the lenses.) I was very hesitant about switching lens types, but she gave me a 60 day trial period where I could switch to the Nikon if I truly preferred them, at only the cost of the difference in price of the lenses. Happily I can say that I adjusted to the new lens type and am 100 % happy with them. They have truly lived up to what the optician said they would be like and I would definitely order them in the future. I have also found that it didn't matter which staff were working, they are all well trained and diligent to take care of the clients needs and wants.

DO NOT GO HERE.*** I will not be back. Many events have led up to this decision. The staff are just plain rude, the doctors and the receptionists. The young girl at the front with the big glasses and brown hair is awful and the 2 optometrists are not much better. My family and I have given this business thousands of dollars for the eye care my sister and I require and they will not be getting another cent. The first incident was about 8 months ago for my yearly eye appointment. The government covers eye exams until you are 18. My eyes had not changed but I figured I should go get them checked just incase like every other year. The male optometrist told me that I am just taking advantage of the system for my last free eye appointment which made me feel guilty for being there. Then when he was testing my eyes he asked why I could see so well. I told him I had my contacts in and he was quite upset about that too. He told me the girls at the front should have made me take them out and continued to put his own staff down to me which was very uncomfortable. When I was leaving he told me I could not order my contacts and when I went home and called I ordered them with no problem. The second incident was with my little sister, with the female optometrist. During the part of the exam where they ask if number one or two is better she answered and the lady told her the number she said looked better didn't match up with the last choice and got upset with her for saying that it made her vision clearer. The third and LAST incident happened this passed week. I called and ordered my contacts like I do every 6 months and they said yes of course we will call you when they are in. 5 days later on a Thursday, I get a call saying you can come in and get the contacts. I drive all the way across town and go in to the store to be told I can't take the contacts because I need to be sized every 2 years. (Note that I haven't been for 3 years and it's just been brought to my attention and made a huge issue right at that moment). I was not told before I ordered the contacts or before I drove all the way down to the location. They told me the person who measures your eyes will not be in until Monday and I could not get an appointment or take my contacts until Wednesday, a full week later. This was concerning for me because I need my contacts every day in order to see. I can not drive or read things in the distant with out them. Another reason this does not make sense is because if they needed to size me so badly from my eyes changing, why did they order the contacts before they sized me? I would go in to get my eyes sized, just to be given the contacts that are the old size that are sitting there that they didn't allow me to take. This place is pathetic. If I could give it no stars, I would.
