No help at all. My family and I were all looking for glasses, we walked around trying on different frames and the woman just sat at the front desk and was on the computer the entire time. Terrible service.

Excellent service, eye exam revealed issues, able to correct. Then, the excellent services of the manager and Jaylene who helped find the perfect glasses. MY Order came in early, and couldn't ask for better help & friendly services. THANKS! Just a note: I went to Calgary Hakim, bought 2 pairs. I live in Red Deer County. Both pairs were not what I ordered, (TINTING). The manager & Jaylene helped make the order right. I should have bought them there in first place!! The service is prompt, friendly & done right the first time. Kudos to them.

I have always received good service at Hakim Optical stores, but the staff at this location goes above and beyond...they really serve their customers very well. I have been helped by the ladies working here on many occasions, from really great discounts on new frames and glasses to fixing my damaged frame (even when it was my fault). They always come through when in need. These folks know the meaning of "Customer Service". ♦️

Story time! The service was great even when they screw up. I had booked an eye appointment through their online booking system. I show up but no eye doctor. It was forgotten to update his availability on the online portal. Bit annoyed. But then you have Jaylene! Offered to still walk around and try on glasses and get that part out of the way. I told my friend it felt like a 90's montage. Lol. She turned my annoyance right around. I left with 3 pairs picked out and came back a few days later for the appointment. Jaylene was there again and was even able to get me a little discount for my troubles. Awesome girl, thanks! Keep an eye out on sales cause they had 60% off over the holidays. Always sales on there. Also, the eye exam is your typical eye exam. He was great.

The ladies who work here are very friendly and extremely helpful. I am so glad I came here to find my self not one but two pairs of glasses. They have excellent deals and a very large selection of glasses to choose from. Will continue my shopping here as I have had an excellent experience both times I went in. Also the eye exams are very reasonably priced.

Bought 2 pairs of glasses. One that tints outdoors. Have been told by my optician that the tinting pair are a poor choice due to frame size and distance from my face. They don't provide the additional protection I was looking for. No education given regarding proper choices nor fit assistance. I have also been told one pair should have been a sz larger. Disappointing.

I bought 2 pairs of glasses, one regular the other sunglasses. I never received a phone call when my glasses were ready. I called Hakim in Red Deer 12 days after I bought glasses. I was told the regular glasses were in but the sunglass not in yet. It took 2 weeks to get sunglasses. When I got the sunglasses I noticed it was difficult to look out left lens. Then when I looked closer the lens didn't even fit in the frame and there were marks on both lens along the top . When I took back to store manager said she would send back. I got a call a week later from VP that said because they are polarized all glasses would have stress marks. The guy was very rude and would not let me speak. I said what about the left lens it didn't even fit the frame very obvious he said easy to fix.He then said I could get the grey regular tint lens. I called Red Deer manager the next day and said I wanted a polarized lens and would come and pick another frame. She said she can't do that as all polarized lens would have stress marks on them. I told her no, I have polarized lens now and they aren't like that. She became very rude and wouldn't let me speak. Then she said that she was tired of talking to me as it wasn't going anywhere and she refused to give me my money back. She said she would have area manager call me. It has been 2 days and I have not heard from anyone. I even called Red Deer manager again today and she said the area manger would call me today - never happened. Very disappointed in lack of customer service from the manager at Red Deer store and her not wanting to fix my problem. Also, the VP that called me and talked me out of getting polarized lens which is what I really want. I find it hard to believe that you can't make polarized lens. If this were case and all lens had stress marks then there wouldn't be such a thing as polarized lenses would there? The VP was very rude and wouldn't let me speak and feel that he bullied me into taking grey tinted lenses which I wanted polarized. Both were very rude and condescending. Terrible customer service. The manager should have given me refund on glasses so I could go someplace. I called her the day after and was told by her that they already started to make them. Really? It took 14 days to get the original sunglasses I really doubt it. The fact that she didn't want to talk to me and referred me to the area manager is disgusting. Who does that? It looked like someone bent the lenses trying to fit them in the frame and they also didn't fit in the frame - this was very obvious to see how do you sell glasses like that and give them to the customer?

Like a former Optician I can say : If you want to be properly served and if you don't want to be overcharged go to this place. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, the selection of frame and lenses is very good. Prices are very good. Strongly recommended

This place has the largest frames selection in Red Deer! Every time you go, they have added new frames to their collection. The new optical assistant, who is training to certify as an optician, has the most bubbly, helpful personality. Each time I came in, she remembered what frames caught my eye last time. She also encouraged me to take my time looking for the right frame for me. The staff doesn't hover or pressure you to buy. Overall, a great place to deal with!

My glasses broke at work and I went to Hakim and ran to the door and they were closed because the lady was going on break!! She saw me as she was driving away and drove back into the store and opened the door and let me in !!!!! Not only did she find me the exact frame but she switched my lenses and adjusted my second pair in less than 15 min!!

Got their mediocre doctor to do my eye test and was way off my prescription i went there complained about it acouples month later cuz my glasses broke. And I notice I could see better with my old glasses and they didnt wanna do a recheck and wanted me to pay for it and I paid for my lences already that are garbage now thaks to the optometris. No money back or anything just jacked my money.

Great place and great selection! Be prepared you need lots of time to look at all the frames in the store! It's like the winners of optical stores, you will find something great if you take your time and look around! Bring a friend if you can with the thousands of frames they have it helps! The girls working in the store are very helpful and knowledgeable, they will help find the right frame for you! 5+ stars
