I have been to Eyewear Experts for a few years now and have ALWAYS had very exceptional service at each visit. Today was different when I walked in though. I explained that I only had a certain amount left on my health spending for new lenses until it rolls over and that unfortunately my 2 yr old son skated across our floor with my glasses and I for sure needed the one lens replaced for now. Kayleigh (forgive me if I’ve spelled wrong) did something that no one has ever done for me, she made things work for me just so and I was able to get both lenses replaced even though my benefits wouldn’t cover both. I was kind of speechless at first because I didn’t think I was hearing her right but then she told me she’d take care of it and that we can all use some good during these times. So today my experience was Above and Beyond Exceptional!!! I will absolutely be telling everyone to visit The Eyewear Experts when it’s time for new specs!!!!❤️????❤️

My wife and I had our eyes done here and purchased our glasses and lenses and less than 1 year and a month over the purchase of my frames which are supposedly (unbreakable) broke in half just cleaning them. With lenses over $1000.00. I don't rough house my stuff folks. When I brought them back I was told there was nothing they could do for me being less than one month over a year "REALLY". This is the second pair that seemed to break in half just cleaning them only, not throwing them around. They were a lot better when they were Eye Liquidators who took care of there customers. I went to Walmart and the gentleman there helped me out hands over. I purchased Danny Gokey's and he popped the existing lenses right in and helped find the sun clips for them as well. Total cost $110 dollars folks. My lenses were $700.00 folks you do the math on the frames that broke. Now you would think that Eye Experts would have bent a bit to keep a customer such as my wife and I who have been going there for over 10 yrs. well hello Walmart goodbye Eye Experts. Funny no reply on bad reviews typical.

I have been going to eyeware experts for the last two-and-a-half years, they always have such great service, the staff are always so friendly and willing to help with whatever they possibly can. Hugo Diaz helped us today and he was very kind and helped us figure out everything we needed, he also remembered us from months ago, and that's how you know they really care about their clients. Kayleigh whiteside also helped me a couple months ago and helped me choose between glasses I wanted. I went with her opinion and I love them. She was very sweet and easy to get along with, as well as helpful. A couple days after I got my glasses I noticed a chip. I brought them in and they replaced the frame that day. I will always recommend this place to anyone needing glasses.Very affordable and VERY kind staff.

These folks are Number 1 on my list. I am a old paraplegic. They made it so I could transfer into the chair. Lifted me back into my wheelchair. Told me I didn't need a new prescription that it would "only lighten my wallet ". One of the best experiences I have had with a optometrist. 5 star.

After visiting several other stores in Red Deer I walked in here by chance on my way home, and ended up going from hopeless to WOW! The place was packed - yet I was greeted within minutes by AJ. He not only found something that worked with my insurance & budget; but also found something that fit my face and looked great on me. He was so knowledgeable about the different packages, lenses, options, costs, you name it. This guy knows his stuff and doesn't mind taking the time to explain things to make sure you're making the best choice for you. I was equally pleased with the store itself. It is very clean, and had a nice waiting room with some toys my children could entertain themselves while I looked for glasses. The selection is easily double what other stores had, from name brands to ones I'd never heard of. And the staff were all happy to be working, smiling, and really working together as a team. You could see them coordinating between one another just to make sure everyone was being looked after. If I need glasses again they will be my first stop! Two thumbs up to AJ and the Eyewear Experts!

My eyes felt like they had changed after a few months of getting glasses, and they redid all the tests at no cost! And they have all the latest technology for eye exams. Also, one of my pairs of glasses fell onto the ceramic floor within 6 months of getting them, and they broke. Eyewear Experts put the lenses in a new frame at no cost! Got some new lenses just under two years ago after the coating on my glasses had deteriorated. I was assured that the new coating was far superior to the coating on the last pair I got. Needless to say in under two years the coating on my new glasses deteriorated and everything had a yellow tinge. When I took them in I was told they were scratched and asked what I cleaned my glasses with (eyeglass cleaners from Costco). They tried to say that the scratching was the problem (sound familiar to anyone??). I said that any number of scratches should not cause them to turn yellow. The coating (lenses) apparently had a two year warranty but they wanted $55/lens for new lenses. My question was, if they are warrantied for two years why should I have to pay any money out of my pocket?

This place is by far the best one in red deer for all your eyewear needs! I come here for all my eye exams and have bought glasses here too, but being a broke student sometimes I have purchased glasses online or wherever they are cheapest. They are always willing to fix any issues I have for free whether I bought them from here or not! (today a nose pad on my sunglasses fell off, and they were more than happy to put a new one on when I stopped in). Excellent customer service, and all the staff are so kind. Very disappointed with the Eyewear Experts. I purchased a pair of Serengeti Sun Glasses which were very expensive. I had a pair prior which I lost so I new what I wanted however after I said that I would purchase them, the staff at Eyewear Experts did not even ask if they needed adjusting, they just took my name. I paid with my debit card. Poor service.

I went to eyewear experts knowing nothing about glasses. I got the pair and a spare set. I was there every day for about 2 week’s trying by to get them set up to see properly. One set just wouldn’t work so I had to get a different frame. Lisa helped me from the beginning. I thought she would get sick of seeing me because I’m sure I was there constantly for about 4 months lol. But I can now, a year and a half later, if need be, pop in and Lisa gets my glasses realigned and clean!! I love her!! She is knowledgeable, funny and very friendly! Have been getting my glasses here since we mived to Red Deer 11 years ago. I got a new pair recently. Paid for the upgraded lens, anti glare, etc. The lenses had such a reflection frim ceiling lights that I could not wear them. They explained it was probably due to the " frameless" type of frames i chose and the lens was probably defective. So i said if they are replacing the lenses, i want to pick different frames to avoid this happening again. After they finally agreed to switch out the frames, thier while attitude changed. Went back to pick new frames and no one offered to help, they were "cold" with me. After i picked new frames, i was told "i hope you love these ones cause we cant change them again". The new frames were less money and the wanted to give me credit i stead of a refund. Yes, cause i want you to keep my money for 2 years till i get new pair again! I was not impressed to say the least, especially when it was a flaw in thier product! Picking up my glasses was a similiar experience. After all these years, i will shop elsewhere next time! They are great as long as nothing goes wrong!

I am very disappointed with Eyewear Experts. On Nov 17, 2017 I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses to replace an existing pair that I did not like because of eyeball reflections. I specifically and clearly pointed out that I did not want the same problem in the new pair. I was assured that this would not be a concern. Also, I opted to get tinted lenses as opposed to Polaroids to avoid navigation screen blocking. I was shown a sample grey tint inside the store which was suitable. I went to pick up the glasses on Nov 27 and immediately noticed eyeball reflections far worse than in the original pair being replaced. Also, the tint was at a ridiculously dark level which made the lenses almost black instead of grey. Even in bright sunlight they are so dark that it is very difficult to read road signs or see details on the road. I tried to resolve this problem through the manager who offered to correct their errors if I paid an additional $100 for a coating which he says I should have ordered. He blamed me for the mistakes despite the fact that I had originally pointed out to the sales person that I wanted to ensure there would be no reflections. I was told there would be none. After his discussions with the owner, the manager said he would reduce the additional amount to $50. This is not acceptable as it was their errors; not mine. Besides, if such an amount had been included in the quote the total price would not have been competitive. I have ended up with a new pair of glasses that are totally unsuitable. I could not resolve this issue through the manager. As this is a local company there is no head office to help. I therefore hope to find a resolution through the Better Business Bureau.

The doctors are awesome! The other staff are rude, pushy, and quick to argue. They forced a pair of glasses that were the wrong prescription! I know that I'll never step foot inside one of these stores again! I also warn everyone that I know, to avoid the place like the plague!

Long story short, back in August I went to pick out my frames/sunglasses. This particular day I was not feeling good at all and ended up very dizzy and lightheaded in this business. Every staff member was making sure I was okay. They making sure I had a cold compact on my neck, water and sugars. They were not pushy what so ever at making a sale on these glasses. They offered to put aside all pairs I liked for a day when I felt better. I ended up picking out a pair of each on that visit with the help of the great staff and ended up absolutely loving my new frames and my new respect for all the ladies who were working that day.

This was my go to place for over 10+ years. My last glasses were not right, so I went back... Told I was too picky and to go somewhere else. And my Opthalmologist is not qualified to do my exams. Hmm OK, he is my specialist. Sorry but if they are not made right, and I can't see properly. Yes I'd say something. In fact I just had them checked and the optical center is way off. So if you want something done right, with accuracy and quality. Try somewhere else.

Great place. Very helpful, good prices. Update- the glasses I bought are horrible. The smear horribly, they rattle in their frames and seem to be pitted. When I called I was told it was my own fault and I was doing something wrong with cleaning. I use their cloth and a cleaner designed for eyeglasses. Though at first my experience was nice, now I will never go back. Seems that since they have my money, they don't care once u head out the door. So disappointed.

The worst place ever.After Phillip the opt gave me the wrong prescription cause was too strong got mad and give me my money back for the glasses i bought but i had a pair of Maui Jim that i ask to be change to new prescription that was the wrong one again they call me up after 3 1/2 month to tell me my Maui Jim arrived in the mean time got my eyes examined somewhere else to tell me my prescription is 1/2 of what Phillip prescribed me. I just recently got my eyes checked and the optometrist was fantastic and came back couple days later to fill my prescription and when i walked in the greeting was very welcoming but from that point it went south in the past when it was eye wear liquidators the service was excellent from start to finnish! On that day thursday 7th i was the only customer that was there at that moment! He was rearranging eye wear as he was trying to help me and wasn't focused on me! showed me a couple eye wear and he kept on fluffing the wall ! I got annoyed and said its clearly you are to busy to help me! At that point i was was leaving! Talked to another associate and he he said he was sorry while i was waiting for my perscription to take with me and was surprised by my comment and said he is one of our best ! I said you may claim that but he showed me he was more interested in fluffing up the wall then with customer service!! VERY annoyed by this!! TERRY WEATHERBY!!!!!@
