I have not had my eyes checked in years, I figured with all the high tech equipment and screening process, this would be the place to go. The visit went smoothly and detailed at every step. It turned out I needed some correction in my left eye and the doctor explained everything in such a way I felt better about having to need glasses for everyday use. They fitted me and helped me find a pair that I would look my best in. I highly recommend this place. Took one week from visit to receiving my new glasses. Thank you so much for the headache free visit. Graeme Stevens was such a pleasure to deal with.

I came in for an eye exam yesterday and saw Dr. Lim. She was great, very friendly and explained everything thoroughly. Everything from check in at front desk through the pre-test with Tracy, exam with Dr. Lim and check out with Amanda were all done with friendly professionalism, in a timely manner, which I appreciate a lot!

I got charged last year almost $500 more for my eye contacts than I did for the exact same ones (made by the same company) through a different store. So check your prices before purchasing!

Amazing experience with FYI doctors. My family and I were victims of the fire at economic lodge today where I lost my glasses that I need to drive. We are not from prince George so the fact that they made me a new pair within the hour was amazing and not only did they make me a new pair they helped me out by giving me a new set of frames for free. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience with FYI! Heidi was the employee that was assisting me the first day with my glasses and we had so much fun trying on different styles of glasses and, seeing what style suited my face the best! she was very helpful while trying them on and she was giving me her honest opinion while I was doing so! Once I found the glasses I liked the best I asked her if there was any other colors in stock! Unfortunately there wasn't any, but she looked on the website and she ordered me a different colour ! 10/10 amazing job!

I urgently needed an exam and new prescription after my young daughter thought it would be fun to snap my specs into pieces. Tracy at the front desk was extremely helpful getting me in quickly and was understanding when I arrived late from being stuck in traffic and made sure I was able to get my exam. What's more is that despite my tardiness Dr. Jackson didn't rush me at all, being thorough and explaining her findings clearly. Very personable staff and great experience all around. They will be my first choice optometrists as long as I'm near PG. Thanks ????????????

Called to order contact lenses and they won’t order any for me because my “prescription has expired.” I understand the need to renew a prescription every couple of years, but when I have my appointment booked for next month and they still will not allow me to order contacts, that is ridiculous. Not sure how they expect me to go without some for a month.

Had Dr. Lim handle my appointment and she was very kind and up beat. Very patient with me and explained everything very succinctly. Michelle helped me with choosing lenses and frame's, and she made it a very fun experience! Very expensive, but I knew that it was going to cost a pretty penny anyways because that's just how the industry is. Overall a good experience!

Michelle one of the Dispensary's was very helpful, understanding and caring towards my eye wear needs. She went above and beyond to ensure I was completely satisfied. Michelle assisted me in picking out my new frames. I was so excited with the first frames I purchased a second pair. So now I have one pair of glasses for everyday wear and the second pair of glasses for fun wear and showing off how good they look on me. Just had my eye exam front end staff were extremely rude, and got angry when I asked simple questions regarding billing. Front end staff was incpmpetent and rude. Dr Stevens was fine though but I will not go be going back.

Phone is not answered. Don't return calls when they tell you they will call. Message says open Tuesday to Friday, but also says the office is closed. Listened to this message at 12:15 PM on Tuesday. This store is a joke since covid.

Walking in today was very different and honestly felt very cold right away. Not the fault of the staff-- they are simply following the rules, but the introduction and the distancing felt cold (hence the 4 stars)..... However. the lady named Michelle, that actually helped me through the rest of the process was nothing short of fabulous, sweet, lovely, kind hearted, and super knowledgeable. I did not expect to walk out with a new pair of glasses ordered so fast--- but I did and I am so excited and happy. Thank you Michelle for turning my experience into something amazing! :)

Their "script" says to call the office when you arrive because their doors are locked and they will come out to get you. Their "script", however, does not mention, even if you arrive and call in 15 minutes prior to appointment time, that "coming out to get you" involves opening the door as they let someone else out and not bothering to call you to clarify you need to be standing at the door the whole time. As a person with a disability, standing that long was not an option. When calling back to see what was taking so long, I was told I missed my appointment even though I was sitting in the parking lot for 45 minutes waiting... Were they sitting around for 30 minutes not bothering to call me? Did they overbook? Have been with Dr Reid for +/-15 years with no issues, but the office staff seems to think we can read their minds, especially during COVID conditions... Would give office manager 0 rating if I could.

They do not consider glasses lost in a suicide attempt to require an emergency appointment for a new prescription. idk, kinda ehh about that one. I have appointments I cannot drive to and can't do many activities. It's not a fun way to recover. Went elsewhere and got an appointment in 2 weeks versus the 2-months FYI offered me.

Very happy with my experiences with FYidoctors. I have seen a couple different doctors there and have been very happy with all of them. My son also goes there and they were able to catch an eye condition and sent him off to an ophthalmologist right away. Sydney is always very happy and ready to help anyone- she gives exceptional service. Leah sold me my glasses and I can't have asked for better help! Would recommend this clinic.

I had a great experience! My optometrist retired so I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Lim. She was kind, calm and thorough. I then had a great time choosing some new frames with the help of Michelle. Due to covid-19, we were in masks, and she had to choose the glasses for me to try on. She also served as an honest and fun second opinion, since I couldn't have a companion with me. She did a fantastic job and I'm thrilled with the ones I chose. Highly recommend. :)

Customer Service is very good. My Customer Service Rep was "Grey." He was terrific, friendly, reassuring, and knowledgeable about products, costs, and options. He patiently listened to my personal preferences. I never felt rushed or neglected. My new optometrist was Dr. Graeme Stevens. He found an eye problem that required further care. Although it was a previous problem, no optometrist had found it before. He presented evidence, and made the referral. He was also understanding about what prescription preferences I had. I am very happy about all of this.

All recommendations were evidenced based and presented in a clear manner. I highly recommend Dr Jackson at FYI. Absolutely terrible customer service.. since Dr.bosdet left, the store has gone downhill in every way. take your business to any other optometrist in Prince George.. My glasses were shipped out for frame adjustments, instead they replaced my lenses with lower quality lenses without me knowing or being told, bent my frame ( talked to 3 other optometrist, (which recommended the frame be replaced). I tried to solve the issues under warranty but fyidoctors said my warranty has been used on the previous work which I did not as for, it was needed because I received a sub-par product from them in the first place. This was my experience at fyidoctors in Prince George.

I lost both of the teeny tiny screws to one of the temples of my glasses, and when I went in to ask them to fix them up for me, they said they couldn’t, not even for a fee, since fyi in Grande Prairie was where I had gotten them, and I would have to mail the glasses there for warranty, and have them fix them up. I didn’t want warranty, I just wanted to have my glasses, so I could use them again right away! Same company…….! So I went to Iris in the Pine centre mall, and they happily fixed them for no fee at all. I used to always get my glasses through FYI, but not anymore.
