A midsize Walmart store. Fairly decent stock supply compared to many Walmart stores I have visited. Has free Wi-Fi, wheelchair available. My biggest complaint is the same as with every Walmart store, not enough staff on the floor. It's rare, especially in the evening to find an associate on the floor and if you do they usually aren't very knowledgable about what is in stock and what isn't

Though things are better organized, this store continues to have bad customer service. Now that we aren't bagging our own groceries we can finally start coming more often. Milton is one of Canada's more affluent communities, this Walmart really should make an effort to be cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing. Maybe it's travelling in the USA that spoils me, but those stores are amazingly laid out, with parking lots with trees, and friendly attentive employees, and income levels there are much lower. Just makes the shopping experience better.

An extreme amount of immigrant workers, half of them can barely speak English the other half not at all, Canadian workers are getting fired and replaced because of this, the self checkout is somewhat convenient but gets rid of jobs and just adds to the mad scramble as everybody pushes around because it's very unclear where the exit of the checkout area is, management changed and the store has gone down hill, unfortunately the store still does well because it's the only big box store on pei these days but it's far from a good one, the only good people here are the workers who have been there for a while. It also doesnt help that they don't open or close when stated, the store opens at 9 then they open at 9:15, of the store closes at 10 then you are forced out by 9:45.

I always shop at this Walmart and it seems like they never have enough staff working. But the worst experience I had was today. I go there, stand in line in the freezing cold and it's almost my turn to go in and then the employee tells us there are no carts in the store so if we want one we'd have to go to the parking lot to get one. I'm just thinking ok..... so I go in then I come back to ask her if I can go grab a cart from the parking lot and come back in and she says no, I'd have to get back in line! By this point the line is huge and it's like a blizzard out! If she didn't wait till the last second to tell us there were no carts in the store then I would have grabbed one. So I just left because there was no way I was waiting in that line. Complete waste of my time!

There's meat, (formerly) frozen pizzas... which is disheartening when you have the same pizza in your cart... hope it didn't come from back there ugh! and about 50 dusty scratched up bottles of pop, candy etc... and the dust, holy.. the dust! There was a guy stocking it when I was there, there's NO WAY he didn't see the mess. Terrible.

This walmart as his high and lots of lows. Had twice a issue with discrimination and all that because a employee told there was a guarantee on the product when in fact there wasn't , so bought it for nothing. Another fact food wise, found three times rotten meat underneath counters. But has good quality fruits and cheap clothes for underneath budget or low incom. The bathroom are not very clean unfortunately.

Wasted almost 4 hours of my life trying to get photos i ordered online (which I found out in the end were lost) waited in line to talk to someone, waited no joke half an hour while they looked for my order, couldnt find it and told me to come back an hour later when the manager got off his lunch break. I came back only to find a longer line (waited another hour) to speak to the manager who was even less helpful than the girl i initially talked to (he ignored people, ignored the huge lineup, and stood there looking around randomly picking up things and putting them down again, not supporting his staff at all) other people were getting frustrated as well and just decided to leave. I stuck around only for them to tell me half an hour later to go get a memory stick (not so easy because i live far away) and drive back in to give it to them, and comeback again in another hour and it might be done. Needless to say i just walked out and did not return even though i had already payed for these pictures. Save your money and time and go somewheres else to print things off!!

I find Walmart workers (other than the cashiers) never help you when you need it. I have heard a thousand times “sorry, we are out of stock” they don’t check a computer or in the back storage to even know if it’s actually out of stock. I try to avoid it as much as possible. The bathrooms are always disgusting as well. They really need to teach their floor staff manners and customer service.

Horrible produce and meats. Some items outside of produce and meats are a great bargain, but other than that you got your same cheap old made in china products. They cut cashiers and overwork existing ones. Leaving both employees and customers pissed off. I have seen people abandon karts because lineup times to cash out is ridiculous. Cell phone department employees are scammers. Was told by Jonah that there would be a $100 gift card but after everything was done told me that I did not qualify. I asked for help transferring my old phones photo to the new phone but was told there was no wifi in the store. Confused as they were using a computer to input my info. I came this March of 2019 and we were going to pay in the self checkout with my mom and a lady said “You can only have 20 items or less” my mom said “I always pay here even If I have more than 45 items” and the lady said “go pay in the cashier” and another lady came and my mom said “I can’t I pay in the self checkout because a lady said that I can’t pay unless I have more than 20 items” and the other lady said “here you can pay in that self checkout” and while we were paying the lady came and said “you don’t have to scan little items” and my mom said “Oh my gosh JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!!” And later the lady said “I’m married to a black guy so I’m not a “rapist” ok????” And I was like “Ok so why you are discriminating my mom and why do you want me to know that your married to a black guy in public???”.Later on,The lady told this guy to check the “recive” to see if my mom was “stealing” something.When we were done the lady said “you aren’t supposed to be this rude here” and my mom said “I’m not being rude... YOU’RE Being rude” and the lady said “Go get your mom”...and I was like “...YOU WANT MY MOM TO GET HER MOM SO SHE CAN BE KICKED OUT OF THE STORE!?!?!?!?!?!?!?” And later a guy wanted to see my moms “recive” to see if my mom wasn’t stealing anything. Later my mom said to the guy “Want to see This?????” And the guy said “nonono you can go now” and my mom said “But the lady was being rude to me” and the guy was like “That’s okay” and we just got away.If the owner of this Walmart “superstore” sees this or the manager. Can't say enough about the Walmart experience. I never liked the store name or the brand. I refused to be part of what I saw as an exploitative company, but now, I enjoy shopping at Walmart for many reasons. I like to buy organic. I like buying English magazines. The produce is very good and products reasonably priced (4 boxer shorts by Hanes for $20). I luv the self checkout and the stores are airy enough to make shopping less stressful in these Covid times.

Never been so disappointed in a Walmart. Only good point was the cashier. Shelves were a mess produce was iffy very unorganized store also seemed dirty. Will not stop there again. We have probably entered over a hundred Walmart in our travels over the past 15 years so we have lots to compare with.

Customers seem to be the main problem with Walmart keeping up with covid rules. People are not giving each other space while walking through the store and now when it's more important that you return your cart to a cart return spot so it can be cleaned before use for the next customer people are still leaving carts in the middle of parking spots. Walmart is the best place to shop for general wares in New Liskeard, though I must admit Im having some problems with it. I absolutely hate that they expanded self checkout when a lot of the time I just wanna pay with cash, and it leaves employees with less jobs! (I assume they did this as a result from being short staff as I've heard they were looking for employees before this) They added a temptation isle in order to get to the checkout which I find personally disgusting as it shows how far this Walmart is willing to go to milk their customers. I understand it from a business perspective but that doesn't make it right. On the plus side, their electronic department has been very helpful with helping me find a potential new phone and the clothing is quite nice here and there.

Pretty much out right accuses you of stealing if you put the item you scanned in the bag before it registers..... Then you got to pull it back out---- then when you're done it asks (loudly) to be sure you haven't placed items in without scanning them and to not forget to check the cart for items..... While it films your face and places a screen viewing you're face a foot from your face. Didn't love it. Certainly didn't get through faster. Walking 37mins to the Wal-Mart because you have no car or bus pass in 30° weather in September is not fun, having blood blister form on your big toe is also not fun however the staff was pretty cool and it's not like were there's one either really nice lady or some guy you can talk to the staff in general was pretty cool. I also had to cut and drain the blood blister that was not fun the next day I tried to buy shoes at the Tooties at the Sea Way mall and my card was declined from it locking because I went to 3 different stores in one day also I hit a spending limit however I fixed it at the TD bank which was super easy.

I give this Walmart three stars solely because of the lack of entrances and exits into the parking lot. One entrance/exit being shared by two big box stores, Tim Hortons, Boston pizza and several other retailers is nowhere near enough. There is always a line of cars waiting to come and go from this parking lot. After a local man was hit by a car last year they announced that a second entrance was coming sometime in 2018.

I find the cashiers work hard and are friendly and kind. Never forget everyone, yes everyone has a bad day once in a while. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars are the self check out machines. I will never use them and if Walmart goes strictly to those machines, I will not use them. Walmart has already lost my on line shopping which was a twice a month, sometimes more order. They changed the delivery rules again a few months back and that was it for me. The reason I liked this shopping experience was because they deliver to the door. I’m a senior without a vehicle and that service was important to me. So I went to Amazon who has as many choices. Sometimes i pay an extra .50 cents but its worth it, AND amazon ships in good sturdy boxes, as well as all liquids are sealed in a plastic bag.

I have had the pleasure of shopping there on many occasions and most recently was looking for a specific item in their home care department. Something needs to change regarding staffing here, when you page 3 times over 45min for store standards to bikes and NO ONE COMES! What are you paying people to do? Shelves are bare, staffs rude and unhelpful IF you can find someone on the floor that’s not doing someone’s grocery shopping. They are always WELL over capacity and you can hear the greeters tell supervisors they can’t keep track of all the people coming in and out of the store, I get it’s the midst of a pandemic but get it together and employee people to actually work and represent the business because what I’ve seen in the last 6months this is absolutely unacceptable for a big box store.

Although their computer didn't accept my USB but thankfully I had the photos on my phone and could share them that way. Earlier today I attempted to do an exchange for a Christmas gift I recieved from a relative out of town. I did not have a receipt. I was unaware of Walmart's new return policy so I called customer care they advised me to obtain a photo of the receipt and speak to the store manager. My item was completely sealed and I was trying to find an item that worked for my home. I did. However the manager explained if my item was not working I could exchange it for a new one but just because I didn't want the item it was not a valid excuse for an exchange for a product that I wanted. I walked away completely unsatisfied and I work in customer service. I am baffled at my interaction today.

This rating is specifically for the Grocery Pick Up staff. I have been using this service for almost 1 year and the pick up staff is amazing. On a few occasions I had to call in and delay my pick up time. Each time the staff were courteous and compassionate. They don't keep you waiting long in the parking spot, are super friendly and helpful loading the groceries into my vehicle. Twice I had the groceries delivered and the driver (wish I knew his name) is super friendly and helpful!

This Walmart is seriously the worst. I was there the other day looking for a toy and could not find it. There was not a soul on the floor to help me so I called customer service from the store and they paged someone to my location but nobody showed up. After 10 minutes of waiting I called back but nobody picked up. I finally found the assistant manger and asked for the product, and after finding it they were out of stock even though the website said they had 10. Manger did not even say sorry. This happens here all the time.

I resent being forced to do a cashier's job at the self check out without being paid or getting a discount for my services. Then, after dropping several hundred dollars each time I shop, I have my receipt checked at the door like a common criminal. The return service has now changed and is not as flexible as it was. That was what set Walmart head and shoulders over the competition and it will be the straw that broke the camel's back to undo them. Obviously Walmart's are now foreign owned by those who are clueless about customer service.
