This place is fantastic! I will be recommending to ALL of my fellow 4-eyes. Great pricing, high quality. The pricing is really fair for the quality considering I have bad eyes and generally pay quite a bit of $ for glasses. The store is also easily accessible via bussing since it's in st-laurent. The owner is lovely to deal with and her staff is professional, and passionate about great service. I've been wearing these glasses for about a month now and they feel great. Transitions were a fantastic option.

The best place ever! Lise treated my son like family while patiently trying to teach him how to insert and remove his contacts. She actually cheered when he finally got one in! Her diligence in ensuring he left confident in his ability and knowing she was available if he had any issues was reassuring. You don't get service like this at quick-stop shops or on-line.

They were very friendly with my daughter , but when they make a mistake, they do not admit their mistake. I asked them for certain lenses for my child, but they put on another and when I called them they refused to admit the mistake and they want to pay more 100 dollars for antireflection lenses while they charged me already 100 dollars. I have 3 daughters Waring glasses and I always pay 100 dollars for antireflection lenses.

They have the best service and they costs are amazing. I was able to get an Eye-Exam and get some Blueshell lens' that they did have in the focus type i needed so they ordered the lens' and adjusted my frames in no time. They also don't push things you don't need.

This place is unbelievable. The service is just top notch! I had my glasses made here in March 2018. A couple of weeks ago, I came in to check if they could do anything for me because I had a bad scratch in them. All places in only cover manufacturer’s defect, so my hopes were not high. Well, guess what? After 15 months, they replaced them with new ones!! Free of charge. Wow. That is going out of your way to make sure your clients have the best experience! My wife just picked up 2 pairs and got the same level of service and warranty! Definitely recommend, more than a cut above average! The person dealing with you is the owner so can’t get better! Would and will go back in a flash!!

The staff at Point of View saved my life. I went to them after my frames had broken, trying to see if they could put my current lenses into new frames. In less than 36 hours they did exactly that! They fully explained my options and the whole process. On top of that, I was able to recieve a discount on the frames, making the whole thing much less expensive then what I had orginally anticipated. Overall, an amazing experience.

Just in customer service alone they were top knotch. Lise took the time to sit with me and explain my options for lenses . I went with the trifocals but they didn't work out for me personally... no issue whatsoever in having them changed up. I love my frames & were reasonably priced. In the end this is why I skipped out on bigger box store service... support your local small business and you get excellent customer care... THANKS LISE!!!!

I just can’t say thank you enough. My eyeglasses broke and my parents rushed me here. We were very kindly greeted upon entering and a very respectful woman took my glasses and went to the back room to work on them, even saying that we could go buy some coffee nearby while we waited. She not only fixed them extremely well, but took some time afterwards to make sure that they fit my face properly. Afterwards, she said it would be complimentary, which made me even more thankful than I already was. Point of View is the very definition of professionalism and friendliness. In the future we will be pursuing all our eyeglass needs here.

The customer service I received here was nothing short of amazing. They made me feel very welcome and comfortable. The owner, Lise, was super nice and made it very easy for me to make a decision on what frames to get. This considering their selection had a lot of variety. The doctor was a lot of fun and made an otherwise uncomfortable situation, getting your prescription done, a lot more bearable and interesting. Definitely one of Ottawa's Best Kept Secrets.

Wow. I just telephoned to make an appointment and they answered "hello?" . I wasn't sure I had the right number so I confirmed it was the optometrist and the guy very rudely said, "yes! We don't open til 930!". So rude. I have never been here and now I never will!!

Sleazy is the first word that comes to mind. I was in a time crunch so ended up having to buy my glasses from this place. I was asked if I wanted the anti glare coating," I asked how much?" They said "30". I said "then no." Then they told me that the price was included. How's that, if it's $30? I ordered 2 pairs of frames with progressive lenses. They told me that the first pair was $450 and the second one was free, save for the extra anti glare coating and the price of the lens, yet the total was $975. So the second pair was actually $75 more expensive than the first. They also told me that other opticians carve progressive lenses down the centre so that your field of vision is quite narrow, but they carved the better part of the lens so that your field of vision was much wider. When I picked up my glasses I was told they would get some getting used to. Three months later, I believe I've given them sufficient time. I have headaches every day and if I look at any distance, if I move my eyes slightly to the left or right, my vision goes blurry. So reading means I have to move my head back and forth like an owl. Clearly what they gave me was the narrow field of vision and not the wider one as they had stated. I emailed them today with my complaint and told them that I have no tolerance for liars and thieves and that if they don't get back to me in 48 hours and rectify the situation to my satisfaction I'm going to the BBB and the CPB. Let's see....

Fantastic service! Went in to change my lenses, to my updated prescription, on frames I purchased elsewhere years ago. Was in and out in 30 minutes, with new lenses and a new go-to spot! Very, very well priced compared to the other quotes I received, too! Thank you Lise, you’re amazing! :)

There are several opticians in the mall, but I chose to come here. Do they have the best selection? Not really. But they can order in whatever ones you see online. The reason I chose to spend my money here is because the staff member that helped me, her name was Shannon, was kind, considerate, personable and funny. I work in customer service compliance, so I will always spend my money at a place that has happy, knowledgeable, personable and kind staff. Highly recommended.

The second arm spring broke off on my glasses. Stopped off here on my way home yesterday and in just a few minutes, the fabulous Shannon found a great frame to fit my lenses. And the frame was on sale for half price!!! I think I'll get my next pair of glasses here when I need to update my prescription. So happy!

????What an awesome and friendly place.???? I was walking through the mall and I asked about my sunglasses. The problem with them was that I was missing a screw holding the plastic lens in place. They said go get you’re glasses and I’ll take a look. I went out to my car and came back with my glasses. Lise spent 10 to 15 minutes going through idk how many different sizes and lengths of screws until she found one and fixed my glasses. The two best parts of my experience there was that. A: I’m not even a customer B: I don’t even need glasses. And she took at least 20 minutes out of her busy day to serve a non client. Now that’s dedication and Incredible customer service. I’d recommend Point Of View Opticians to anyone. Great job Ladies.

Had to contend with a crack in the frame of my glasses. Francesca quickly looked at them, told me it was under warranty, and I walked out 7 minutes later with a new pair! What an amazing experience compared to other Opticians I visited. Immediately when I came in a man and a woman both greeted me with a smile and ask how they can help me today. I informed them that I don't have a lot of boxes to my children at this point time so I'm in a bit of a rush to try to get my daughter's glasses fixed. Immediately they both took action and were able to get me into a new set of frames that my daughter enjoyed. They did readjustments and made her feel special. We were also able to find frame that fits her existing lenses that were on a special deal. So not only did they help me immediately they also save me money. This place is amazing. I bought some glasses about 7 years ago there, and it was the best pair of glasses that I have ever owned. I have purchased glasses since at costco and with my optometrist but I regret both of those. My favourite glasses will always be from them, definitely excellent value for the glasses and the service is incredible. Yesterday I brought in my 80 year old mother with her broken glasses, which had been sat on. With smiles and jokes, they repaired them free of charge. It made our day! Best customer service I've ever received when purchasing glasses. Ali (who only works there Thursday evenings) held the pair of frames I was looking at when I wanted to browse at other stores. Came back with my mind made up within half an hour of closing and he said he could have them ready for me by close. Threw in an extra glasses case of my choice and cleaning solution as well. Glasses came out great and they come with an unconditional 2 year warranty for both lenses and frames. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely great customer service! My optician just moved here temporarily she and her staff were not working today. Instead of sending me away, the regular staff here searched to see if the product might have come in. But when the optician on duty noted they weren’t after her search, she insisted on doing everything she could to help me - even though my only reason for wanting lenses was to be able to wear sunglasses on the long weekend (not an urgent need by any means). She set me up with a trial pair that were close to my prescription to get me through the weekend/time until my lenses came in. With customer service like that, for a client that wasn’t even theirs, i’ll definitely be back to look at frames when I’m due for new glasses! Thank you for the great service today! ????

The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. I chose frames twice that they didn't have my preferred colour in stock and they immediately placed an order for them both times. Not only did the staff members help me choose something that actually suited my face, but were patient with my indecisive self. Also, they prepare your lens right away unlike other optical's. I placed my order, and had my glasses ready within less than 30 mins. Definitely recommend and would go back!
