Went in with a pair of glasses (from another store) where the lens had fallen out. They popped the lens back into place right away and didn't charge me for it. Very friendly and quick. That's my only experience, but it was a good one.

Here is my experience with this store. I hope my stories could help my fellow friends who are wearing glasses full-time. I found this store purely by randomness. Story One My frame legs broke unexpectedly. Since I am an on-a-budget postgraduate student, I called this store and ask if they have a repair service. Jason the own and Ryan the technician told me to come and try. Then, I brought my frame in. They tried very hard to help me! After about half hour, Ryan fixed it! (the two photos below are "before repair" and "after repair" of my broken frame) Story Two Later, I felt that I did need a new pair of lenses. Then, I came back to Jason again. First, he referred me to an excellent optometrist. Once I received my newest prescription, Jason helped me to choose a frame from frames. He had vast knowledge about frames and lenses. Quickly, he helped me to find out a best fit frame for me in terms of comfort, price, fitness, durability, and lightness. After that, Jason gave me a promotion discount. As a result, I got a France-made frame and 1.67 index lenses under $370. In conclusion, I will recommend this store to my family and friend for eyewear.

Highly recommend Chicco Optical. I bought my first pair of frames/lenses last year and was so impressed by the service that I returned this week to get lenses put in some other frames which I ordered from Turkey. I've been to many Opticians across the city and I have to say that Jason's patient and friendly service are the reason I return, not to mention they have a gorgeous selection of frames.

I highly recommend this optical store. First, for their professional advice and services. The owner gave me his professional and honest advice to assist me choosing the best fit frame. Second, for their vast selections, the shop has many selections that can fulfill everybody's need. Like me, I need a wide and big but super-light with good quality frame. I had checked out many stores, which they either do not have this kind of frame or the price is way over my budget. Poor experience. The staff got the time wrong and insisted that it was me who made this ‘wrong appointment’. Also, they kept using imperative sentences, which made me very uncomfortable. No comments on their products as I decided to leave, but hopefully they can improve their internal training.

Bought a pair of glasses from the store a month ago. There are a lot of selections that can fit different shapes of faces. I need the glasses with a bit wider fit which is usually rare to find in other stores. Even that I could still find a pair that I am really happy with from this store. I found that the optician was very professional, took time to guide me through for my best interests, and gave me his honest opinion on what might fit and what might not. Don't recommend going to Chicco Optical for an eye exam. The optometrist on-site was short with me at one point during the examination. I felt rushed so I don't think the prescription she gave me was what I needed. Plan to pay for another eye exam with a different optometrist for a second opinion. Furthermore, I was told to pay the expensive eye exam upfront BEFORE the examination, which I paid. It's unheard of; what kind of business tells the client to pay upfront for an eye exam? It's a first for me.

This is a great experience of buying glasses for my wife and me. The manager Jason didn’t just introduce the details of the glasses fram as my old experience, but used his experience and knowledge to start from my face shape, size of my eyes and funtional, etc., to help me choose the most suitable glasses frame for me. In the end, I bought two glasses, one for daily use for reading and meeting with customers, which makes me look more professional, and the other for daily driving with a wide field of view and can enhance night vision. My wife also found a frame she likes. In short, our shopping experience is definitely worthy of my 5 stars. I highly recommend Chicco-Optical.
