Have had BAD experiences with other optical stores in London which have made me hesitant to deal with my eye care issues Dropped in to get my glasses fixed (just 1 nose piece replaced) and got both replaced as well as an arm screw (which I had twist tied in place) Then when I asked how much, he said no charge Most of the people I encounter that service the public nowadays have become complacent. It has nothing to do with Covid either so please don't jump to that excuse. People seem to ask: what's in it for me ?before they ask what they can do for others It reaffirmed my faith in humanity stopping by their shop today

Update: I received my glasses and I couldn't be happier. The quality is top notch and my vision hasn't been this clear in a long time. I recommend anyone who needs high quality lenses and frames at a super affordable price to check Squints out. When I first walked in to the shop, even though Nayif was busy, he still acknowledged me and made me feel welcome. I also called ahead of time, so he knew what I was looking for and started helping me while still making sure not to ignore the other customers. We unfortunately couldn't find the style that I was interested in in the store stock, though when I told Nayef the exact pair that I wanted, he offered to order them in and offered to get me the full package deal for a much better price than I was able to find at any of the big name optometrists. Nayef was also extremely knowledgeable and able to answer every single question I threw at him, as well as educated me on some things I didn't know but was glad to find out. With all that being said, he managed to make me feel like a valued and appreciated customer all the while answering phone calls, helping other customers and being very polite overall. Westmount Optimitrists, all the stores in White Oaks and Masonvile, etc. This guy has an amazing way of making you feel comfortable, and he has the knowledge to provide valuable information to help you make a decision. Everything from sizing, fit, to lens thickness, coatings, material. I had a specific situation needing a rush job, and he went out of his way to call other stores, to get the frame i chose from his store in the colour I wanted from another, no extra costs. Squints also had convenient direct pay with my insurance which not all places do. Customer service at 100%.

I've had 3 pairs of glasses done through Squints and it has always been an exceptional experience. Nayif is a patient, honest and knowledgeable optician. Being indecisive, I spent over an hour during my first visit trying on frames and learning about the different brands. I was never rushed and he took the time to explain my full purchase (lens type and frame style) and the story behind each company as we searched. Overall, it is the best service I have ever received- from any industry, with excellent pricing and better access to technology (i.e blue coating/lenses) and high quality frames than other optical chains. I've now moved to Sudbury but still make the trip back to Squints for the excellent service, knowledge, and selection.
