First time experience with Hakim Optical. The glasses are also not organized in any way. There was no mens or womens section, glasses were all over the place. I asked about a a pair of glasses I saw online and the person helping me couldn't find it. I selected a pair and was told that my glasses would take a week to be ready and I'm into week 3 now. I'm hoping the quality of my lens are good otherwise I'm bumping this down to a 1 star.

Really bad customer service. First time I went in to see if I could get a pair of frames sent from another location. A grouchy old woman barked at me to call myself. So I did in the store and her assistant ended up having to call back and help me anyway. Today I go in to pick up the frames and they were THE WRONG FRAMES, which happens, so I just told them unfortunately they were wrong (I ordered gold, these frames were red and blue...) they told me to call the original location and insisted that they were the right frames. I called the second location and the man repeatedly said " well WE didn't make ANY mistakes" and kept suggesting I made a mistake or forgot my own colour preference. No accountability. No refunds. No help figuring out what happened. He got extremely offended that I suggested they made a mistake. So now I'm out $400 with ugly ass red and blue frames when I wanted gold.

Extremely rude and unprofessional. I came this morning to order a pair of contact lenses and I was met by the rudest woman at the counter. I had just walked in to the store didn’t do anything wrong and she instantly was sour with me. Clearly did not want to be there or assist me at all. My mask was on the entire time yet she was telling me to put it on properly ( it was properly placed) and asking if I had my two vaccine doses (which I do). All I wanted was to order some contacts!! They were not helpful at all and told me to leave and bring my prescription next time. I take COVID precautions very seriously but it seems like they instantly judged me based on the fact I am a young adult. I would not recommend ever visiting this place unless you want to be judged and treated very rudely.
