They have a really nice designer frame selection and better quality lenses than at Lenscrafters. Can't wait to pick up my glasses soon - thanks again!

The best service I have ever received buying glasses. Mehrnaz was very informative and helpful. This is definitely the place to go for your glasses. We shopped around at all the big name stores but nothing came close in service and price than Eyestar Markham. Mehrnaz went above and beyond helping me pick out frames that we liked and suited us well. She really knows her stuff - our glasses will be perfect for us and it's all thanks to Mehrnaz. Dr. Chow and her team are very friendly and professional. After putting off regular eye exams for many years, I made my first appointment to visit Dr. Lisa Chow & Dr. Mindy Chow Optometrists. My appointment was quickly arranged to meet my schedule and their staff were very professional, providing reminder calls and rescheduling when required. Meeting with Dr. Chow, she performed a comprehensive eye exam and explained the details of the tests and answered any questions I had in a way that was easy to understand. After determining I required a new prescription, she provided me with a set a test contact lenses to try for a couple of weeks and scheduled a follow-up appointment to ensure proper fit and prescription. I highly recommend Dr. Lisa Chow & Dr. Mindy Chow Optometrists, great patient support and follow up.

I was JUST at this location, and I walked around for about 5 minutes going so far as to linger at the cash/reception, and I was completely and utterly ignored. An Asian couple walked in after me, and the lady who was sitting at the desk looking bored jumped up to help them. It's a shame, because my boyfriend bought glasses from the Scarborough Town location today and the service was excellent. The two people working at the Markham location were terribly rude and lacking in customer service and I'm even sorry that my boyfriend bought glasses from this company at all, because no one deserves to be treated like that.

If I can give 0 Star, I will do that. Good decoration, good selection, good location, however, in the end, the rating was given based on the final product - prescription eye glasses. I usually don't like to go online and give a bad rating unless I am extremely disappointed about the overall quality of a service or product. Zero point for both services and final products.

This place by far has the best customer service and options for sunglasses. Myself and my bf have been here numerous times over the years. Every time we go we end up leaving with a pair of sunglasses. We always go to see Minal. She is phenomenal! She always knows exactly what we are looking for and takes her time , she is very patience, kind and has the best customer service we have ever received in any place we have been too. I would highly recommend if you are in need of a new pair of glasses or sunglasses that you go here. Make sure to ask for Minal you wont be disappointed!

There isn't a very wide selection of frames for all face shapes. The lenses are very poor quality. Overpriced (paid $300 in total for them) and basically the exact same quality as the plastic lenses you can buy online for about $40. Within the first month of getting them, they got a huge scratch on them even though I treat my glasses very carefully. They're also constantly getting smudged and dusty, and cleaning them with the cloth they provided (and any other) only moves the smudges around. When I went back to get the lenses replaced they refused to because apparently anti-smudge and anti-scratch lenses that constantly are getting smudged and scratched "does not qualify as a manufacturer's defect"

I've purchased eyeglasses and sunglasses a few times from Eye Star optical In markville and have been greeted with warmth, patience (as I can be a difficult customer) and knowledge everytime. The quality of their glasses is really good and my relationship with them somehow doesn't end after my purchase. Eye star has always welcomed me back with any concerns or adjustments that need to be made to my glasses. 5 stars for customer service for sure!!

HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE! After visiting multiple glasses and lenses shops within the mall today, my family and I decided to visit this store. Upon walking in, there was absolutely ZERO service and we were forced to wait a very long time. Even after someone came over to offer us "service" (and I use that word very loosely), they took a phone call and returned 10 minutes later. As customers who require assistance, this was very off-putting especially with purchasing a good such as glasses which requires attentive sales associates. The older woman who was assisting us was incredibly RUDE and had an ATTITUDE the entire time. I asked her what lenses she offered and she only showed me Zeiss lenses but from other stores such as Lenscrafters, they had discussed options such as Essilor. When I asked about Essilor, the woman said, "Well, we can look at the CHEAP OPTION." That remark was incredibly inappropriate and disrespectful towards any customer. I was disgusted by her remark and immediately left the store. First of all, Essilor is an equally high quality brand and second of all, no customer should be judged based on the value of their purchase. Hopefully management will reevaluate the mannerism of their employees (especially this older woman).

Great customer service and friendly staff! The selections are new and trendy with lots of selection to choose from. I got a pair of Cartier's with Carl's Zeiss lens at a great price! The lens were super thin at my high prescription -7.50. well worth it! They even took care of me when my optimatrist had to adjust my prescription. I just had to go back to them, and they ordered a lens and replaced it for free without any hassle. Will definitely come back!
