Don't buy your glasses from here. I did a few years ago and I have to keep going back because the screw on one side keeps popping out. This time I didn't even get to my car in the parking lot.

Very disappointing customer service! The old lady was very aggressive and not willing to help! We had to leave the store as we could not tolerate her behaviour !!!

I visited today after waiting many weeks to get new glasses due to the Covid-19 closures. I required an appointment, because they now restrict how many people can enter. The staff wore face shields and used sanitizer. I loved the one on one personal service. I think the new ways are better and hope they remain. Much better than being in the store with 5 other customers wanting attention. I love my new glasses and will be coming back again in the future.

The worst experience I've ever had!!! I visited the store yesterday and the lady who sit in the store was very rude. She said we only serve with appointment. Then when she realized that my husband visited the store half an hour ago and informed the guy who served him that we would come again, she turned to the staff yelling: ZAKI, your buy is here. Then, later, my husband tried some glass frame and put it back, she yelled to my husband, you can't touch those frames or put it back. We need to sanitize it, take it out! take, it, out! I felt extremely uncomfortable with her attitude. Even I felt guilty that I visited the store. It is absolutely the customers are not welcomed. This is really the worst experience I've ever had. I will not visit store again.

PLEASE CHECK YOUR GLASSES FOR SCRATCHES BECAUSE EVERYONE IN THIS STORE WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE .. claiming there is no scratch and they just arrived from the vendor. If I could give 0 stars I would. I went to this location to buy two BRAND NEW glasses and I received two USED glasses with noticeable scratches on both my glasses. You would think 'hey' maybe one was just scratched by accident but NO both were scratched which means this was deliberately done to save some money. So I go in to ask them for a refund and the manager (blonde lady -Jill to be exact) says you are not getting a refund so I ask them to order me two NEW glasses this time with no scratches. Mind you she was denying my claims of the scratch on one of the glasses, called me picky, and was being very rude. She agreed to send them back and get me new ones and after waiting 3 weeks I go in to get my apparently new glasses I see the same pair of scratched glasses in the box. Claiming they just arrived brand new. It was the same frame/lens that I returned. All the employees in this store are very rude and they all denied that there was a scratch on the frame. If I had paid for used glasses I would be totally content with it BUT I paid for brand new glasses so I should receive brand new pairs with NO SCRATCHES .. am I asking for too much ??? PLEASE CHECK YOUR GLASSES FOR SCRATCHES BECAUSE EVERYONE IN THIS STORE WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE .. claiming there is no scratch and they just arrived from the vendor. -EMRAN

The old associate, Jill reaked of cigarettes and was very unwelcoming. She made me feel unworthy of being there and belittled me when I wasn't understanding the prices. My glasses are too tight around my nose when I received them and they wouldn't do anything to help me with the issue.

Both Jill and the young man whose name escapes me (it could be Mo?) are super helpful, patient, experienced, and give great advice every time I've been in either for new frames or to make any adjustments to my existing frames. My Rx makes it very tricky for me to find frames that can actually accommodate the lenses I need. However, after spending close to 2 hours picking out my last pairs of everyday glasses & sunglasses, Jill went to the extra mile and was able to have them customize a pair of sunglasses that were meant only for fashion - not to hold Rx lenses.... and VOILÀ! They're by far my favourite sunnies ???? that I've had.

Sad to say but been visiting this Hakim out of convenience for several years and same rude service lady is there. When I see her I turn around and leave. I just dont understand why she is still there after so many complaints?!?!? Her body language, facial expressions and even blatantly rude verbally.

Except for the fact that the prices are astronomically high, the saleswoman looked down on my wife and mother as if they were third class citizens. Very unprofessional ,rude and disappointing. Yet another disappointment after returning to Canada after so many years. Shame...

Incredibly rude service over the phone. I’m not one to leave reviews but I was shocked at my treatment. I was cut off, told that I can’t be helped, and hung up on. Really surprising and sad to say the least.

I love the selection of glasses at this location and I'm happy with the two glasses that I recently purchased. Jill and Olga welcomed me and my son with good spirit and also great customer service. Jill worke out great prices for my glass. I will definitely recommend Hakeem Optical on Speers Rd to friends and family and will come back again. I cant wait to receive my glasses. Made an appointment for 1:00 PM and It didn't take until 1:30 to speak with an associate. Only 2 people are allowed in the store at a time yet there is currently 4 customers in here. My experience has not been pleasant here and I would not recommend people come to this store

Visited today, by appointment - pleased with the assistance Jill provided in choosing new frames - honest and very knowledgeable - prices are a bit high - and didn't know cheques were not accepted - I use mobility scooter: will need time to visit Bank - appreciate Jill's willingness to hold my order....

The last time I was there. The sales person was very knowledgeable and explained the different lenses. She helped us with all the discounts available to save us money which was appreciate as I didn’t have insurance at the time. Five stars excellent.

Charged hundreds for obviously used floor model glasses Staff is snobby and rude, they spend a lot of time playing with cell phones and trying to squeeze the highest possible price on cheap junky frames at 400% markup since "it just goes to insurance" Stay away, you're better off looking online or going literally anywhere except Hakim.

Wow all I have to say is stay far away from this location, The manager is a total nut job. Her attitude was so rude and beligerant that we walked away even after spending an hour picking out 2 frames, She kept raising her voice at us with a horrible attitude that left a very bad taste in our mouth, Worse customer service I've experienced since moving to Ontario from Vancouver, Buyer be ware!

Do not use this location !!!!! This location had the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE . When I called in to make an appointment, the lady on the phone was making rude comments about someone speaking in the background, she continually sighed and grunted in anger and didn’t listen to me at all. I called back right away and cancelled my appointment because I didn’t feel comfortable spending my money there, and worried about the kind of service I would’ve received had I gone into their store. It was truly a terribly phone call. Then, Today I received a call from an employee who didn’t even say hello - the first thing out of her mouth was “did you plan on coming in today orrrrr ....” my response included something along the lines of how I cancelled my appointment due to poor customer service, and this was a great example of it. The lady continued to complain saying people missed opportunities to get their eyes checked because of me. I wished her a good evening and ended the call. Absolutely atrocious service!!!! DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION if you expect friendly, courteous service. They should be shut down.

i when to this location last week to ask for info about using my benefits card and the sales lady was very unprofesional and not costumer skills. she said " the doctor is there who knows if she could see you for u eye exam and she just walked away.. in that moment i garb my wife and kid and i decide to leave. worse play ever dont go. there is a better place in upper middle rd and dundas in burlington where people is amazing nothing like the day on this location i dont get her name but she made me feel stuped just to be there .
