Just happened to walk into Eyeconcept last December. This place is now my go to optical store. The ic! berlin sunglasses I purchased are by far the best prescription sunglasses I have owned. From the salesperson, to the optrician to the manager, all treating me with the utmost respect and care. I just returned to for an eye exam and driving glasses. Top quality designs and service. Where to begin... The Eyeconcept team is absolutely amazing. Wayne is a true asset and a star. I cannot say enough about his customer service. He is honest, thoughtful, informative, knowledgeable--- the list goes on. If you're lucky enough to have Wayne help you, know your eyes are in the best of hands. Their selection of designer frames is unmatched. And trust me I would know, I've been wearing glasses since I was 3 years old. If they don't have the frames you seek they will order them. Imagine any pair of glasses or sunglasses you desire an order away. I have owned dozens of pairs of glasses over the last 3 decades, starting a rather serious collection within the last 5 years. I used to get my glasses from numerous other eyeglass centres, and I have to say beyond a shadow of a doubt the quality of lenses Eyeconcept's lab provides is far superior to any other eye place I've tried. My glasses are clearer, lighter, have no scratches, and the anti-glare, blue coating is impeccable. And yes I am guilty of wiping my glasses with a Kleenex or a t-shirt from time to time, aren't we all? Well their glasses stand the test and surpass it. I have purchased 4 pairs of eyeglasses and 2 pairs of sunglasses over the last few years from Eyeconcept and I am extremely impressed. There is nowhere else I would rather go for my eyewear needs. Their quality is simply incomparable. They are in a league of their own. So if you're looking for superior quality, an unlimited variety and exceptional customer service, please look no further. I was drawn into the store while walking to increase steps at Oakville Place by it’s obvious selection of great looking glasses. I had recently had cataract surgery on one eye and was desperate for sunglasses as mine had been prescription. The attention paid to my needs and help in choosing the correct pair was outstanding. The sales person had excellent knowledge and gentle suggestions that were very much appreciated. I left a happy customer with a fabulous new pair of Tory Burch sunglasses !

I can't say enough good things about my experience at Eyeconcept! The staff is extremely patient and friendly- it took me a total of 3 hours to chose my glasses and sunglasses and they helped me the entire time with a smile. Not pushy with sales and are genuinely there to help make the experience great. I've had my sunglasses and glasses for a year and the staff is always willing to help with any adjustment. The selection is amazing and they can order other colours of any style with no hesitation. Prices are comparable to other stores. Amazing quality of glasses and lenses - very clear and stay clean for days! This has become one of my favourite stores at Oakville Place, and if I could buy a new pair of glasses every month I would! The store is absolutely beautiful, clean and has amazing lighting! I have already recommended Eyeconcept to friends and family and they are all very happy with their glasses. Manager gave me so much attitude. Said I was not a client of his as if that justifies being rude in the workplace. He kept giving me smug looks and smirks as I was trying to explain and I asked him not to interrupt me as I find that quite rude when I was trying to be a neutral person in a situation. Currently trying to find someone to contact above him because I do not find that kind of service justifiable as no one was mean or anything to him, just clearly very frustrated at the situation at hand. COMPLETELY unprofessional and I work in customer service so I am never rude to employees as a client but I do not appreciate the sass from him at all. Hope he can relearn some customer service skills. I never lose my cool or expressions even when I’m being cussed out so I know it’s possible to remain calm and unaffected. No one was mad at him, just mad at the miscommunication. But he made it personal. EDIT: The owner and I resolved this in the store shortly after I had posted this review. The situation has been handled and we do not need to continue further. I am simply choosing not to delete my review. Thank you.

This is by far one of the best eye glass retailers I’ve ever been to—bar none. First off, every sales associate is so patient and not at all pushy. They are all well trained and knowledgeable. They really make you feel like their main priority is making sure their clients feel well served. The store is kept in pristine condition and the associates never seem annoyed, no matter how many pairs of glasses you want to try on. They make excellent recommendations backed by practical reasoning and do their absolute best to accommodate your needs. Every time I’ve purchased glasses from them I’ve worked with Wayne. I believe he’s the manager and he always goes above and beyond. Most recently he helped my daughter find her first pair of glasses. She had a really strong prescription and he made the best recommendations based on a multitude of factors and explained his reason for each suggestion. Now I must say the most impressive thing about our last experience was due to the pandemic the store was working at reduced hours. By the time my daughters glasses came in I was still at work and wouldn’t be able to pick them up that day. Wayne actually hand delivered the glasses to our front door! I couldn’t believe how thoughtful he was. He refused to even let me reimburse him for his time and going out of his way. He then made sure they fit her well and everything was all good with her new glasses. The best customer service I have ever had. The quality of the glasses and lenses are top notch and all the styles offered are up to date. There’s something for everyone, 10/10 would recommend.
