My glasses broke fully in half on Christmas and I was worried about being without a pair for weeks… But Daxten at New Look was able to do a very impressive temporary fix that looks great and is surprisingly sturdy given the break. Fantastic service and everyone there is always so nice!

I was told that I had 6 months left on my warranty when I went in to show them a chip on one lense. Was told they would call me back but I had to call them. Was then told that my warranty only covered the coatings. Who sells $1000 frame and lenses with no warranty. Going in today to have this issue rectified, may change my rating after. Went in today to talk with the manager and turns out the warranty is still in affect. New lenses are being ordered and updated at no extra charge. So still not a 5 star rating but better due to the managers efforts to correct the issue.

Amazing service and that was before I was a paying customer! I took a broken pair of glasses there and they helped me exchange the lenses into new frames for free. I then went to have an eye exam and as expected, they were brilliant!

Best customer service we have had in years- if we could give more than 5 stars we would. After the loss of glasses required to drive/work/function Kirstin went above and beyond to get a replacement. Not only was she able to source lenses from a sister store to get the glasses replaced in a couple of days she was also able to Macgyver a pair of glasses using old lenses we had lying around and a pair of frames she had on hand. We cannot thank her enough. If you need new glasses go see Kirstin at New Look Eyewear at Hillside mall. Amazing.

I had fallen and damaged my frames. I was on vacation and stopped in at the mall. The Visions staff were very friendly, and the manager, Heather, adjusted the frames and replaced the nosepieces all free of charge. She seemed very knowledgeable and competent.

My experience at Visions was not very positive. The staff did not seem happy that I wanted to order a different colour of the frames that they had in their store. I was told they would phone me about ordering them, I never received a call. Seemed like the staff did not know ordering procedures or how to call distributers.

I found them to be absolutely fantastic. I came in with a relatively new pair of sunglasses I had previously purchased at a brand name retailer. The screw in the arm had become dislodged. They were able to repair within minutes and I wanted to pay the woman for her time I was told it was free of charge. Fantastic place I highly recommend.

Finally!!! Someone who understands in customer service! What a pleasure to deal with all the staff at Visions! 1) Dr. Khan was very thorough and patient . 2) I was prescribed progressions but didn't work out. I went back and had told them about it and without a fuss made me separate glasses. 3) I also wasn't comfortable with the frames I chose.. I was expecting some resistance. I got to choose new frames without any fuss! 4) When I went to pick up my glasses there was a senior in front of me that needed a repair done. They wonderful staff had fixed it and charged him nothing. My whole experience from beginning to end was amazing! My wife also had the same wonderful experience. I highly recommend this place. I had a great experience at New Look. I was taken care of by Kirsten at the Hillside mall location in Victoria BC. I had a difficult time finding the right pair of glasses due to a wide and high bridge (or schnoz if you will). However she took as much time as was needed until we found the pair that suited me. I definitely recommend people shop for glasses there and if you are lucky enough to be served by Kirsten, you will find her infinitely patient and helpful.

Person in charge gave my glasses to a trainee to fix (so she could keep shopping on amazon) and when the trainee broke them, she said I had to pay for it unless I had a warranty. Thankfully I did, they didn't have the frames I wore and said their other location did and they would call me when they had arranged for me to pick them up. I never recieved that call, and when I went to the other location the manager there said they never recieved that call either. Miserable experience. (The manager at the Tillicum location was faaaaar more helpful)

I went in to visions HILLSIDE 3 wks ago found a pair of glasses I liked, gave them to the sales girl, and they were going to call Blue cross for approval. When i didn't hear back for 2 WEEK's, I called back, they said they'd look into the delay and call back. Next day the sales associate who helped me called back and BOLD FACE LIED. "There's a line up of glasses waiting for approval" she says. There is NO wait for approval It takes MINUTES. I called blue cross myself to check on wait. I have since gone elsewhere. And have my new glasses in less than 4 days. Id rather a business tell me they overlooked my file and made an error, instead of lying to cover their mistake.

I visited Visions this evening with my teenage daughter to get a quote for her eye glasses and contacts. The woman who helped was rude and condescending and basically dismissed me saying that the prescription (written by a well known eye surgeon) didn't provide enough information for contacts. I asked for a quote for glasses and she (angrily) blurted it out and didn't bother to write it down for me. If I were the owner of the store I would re-think her employment. Pearl Vision provided quotes for both and had no issues. I will give them my business.

Today I needed new eye pads for my glasses. I had a very pleasant experience at Visions Optical at Hillside Centre. I was greeted as I entered the store and made to feel comfortable. Anna assured me that she could help with my request. In a short time the pads were replaced and the glasses adjusted. Anna made my day. Also there was no charge for the above.

I would highly recommend looking somewhere else if you’re looking for a decent pair of glasses. I bought glasses from here about a year and a half ago but they somehow broke the other day even though they were just sitting in my glasses case. I went in to see what my options were to go about replacing it but because it was a few months over the warranty period of 1 year they basically said I was on my own. I was completely willing to pay for a new pair but after they didn’t offer some sort of discount or any other form of assistance for being a repeat customer I decided to look elsewhere.

I would love to give them less than one star. Walked in. Lady behind counter was printing off documents for an art gallery. Eventually looked up. Couldn't help me with replacement part for the glasses I purchase at her store. Suggested I come back next week and try again? Second time I have tried to get service from her. I will no longer get my eyes tested or purchase my two pairs a cycle from them.

I called to ask if they could fix my 95 year old mother's glasses today. A lovely French woman answered and said to bring them in anytime. I hurried right in and they had them fixed promptly and professionally. They also noticed that mom's nose pads were missing and replaced these, too. I was given a special cleaning cloth, some helpful suggestions and a beautiful new eyeglass case. When I pulled out my wallet to pay, I was told there was no charge! My mom was so very happy when I brought her glasses back today. Thank you Visions Optical. I would highly recommend your quick and friendly service.

Disgraceful service. I ordered a new pair of lenses from them and they will not clean regardless what product I use. The frames have to be some Dollarstore china dot com material. The eye doctor was more focussed in selling products that were not needed then helping me with what I was in need of. Now in the process of purchasing new lenses from elsewhere.
