Dr. Weinerman is professional and very friendly. She cares for our entire family and we have had nothing but great experiences at her practice. She has a great selection of frames and takes the time to make sure the style and fit is the best. We will always return to Cadboro Bay Optometry for our vision care. Doctor could not explain prescription and pushed us to buy glasses at her store. We had to got to another doctor to get a second more accurate prescription based on a proper exam and analysis. Avoid this place! The doctor prescribed a low prescription, was vague about when we should wear the glasses (she said "anytime you want"), was vague about why the glasses were necessary (she said "all teenagers should wear glasses"), and didn't even dilate our pupils to properly test the need for the prescription she gave us. Furthermore, she pushed us to purchase at her store. We went to another doctor for a second opinion who performed a more accurate exam, provided coherent explanations on the state of our eyes, gave us a different correct prescription, and didn't push us to purchase glasses at their store. We have logged a formal complaint with The College of Optometrists of British Columbia

I was amazed at how fast my vision was checked and corrections made by Dr. Weinerman and her up-to-date diagnostic tools. The visit went quickly but I never felt rushed. She took time to explain what was happening and the changes to my eyes that had taken place over the past year. With the correct lenses my vision has improved. I am very pleased with the results and already have next year's appointment in my calendar.

I had an opportunity to shadow Dr. Sehn and meet Dr. Weinerman and I can say that this is an amazing place to go to for all your eyecare needs and services! I have never been in a more welcoming atmosphere. The clinic was beautifully decorated. Dr. Sehn is very knowledgable with the work she does and is very patient to answer all my questions. I can say 5+ stars in all aspects!

She got my prescription wrong for my left eye to start with which I found out after I ordered a year's worth of contacts. I went back in and got retested and she said she would give me new contacts if I couldn't return the ones I bought. I then compared the prescription I got originally with the retested one and everything was different. When I asked about it she said the first prescription was for glasses even though I asked for my contacts prescription and then hasn't answered any of my questions about them. Then to top it off she sent me the wrong prescription for the replacement contacts and I'm left with 4 boxes of contacts I don't know if I can use or not. I will be asking for my money back Edit: She refunded me the exam money but refused to take blame for giving me my glasses prescription when I asked for my contacts prescription

I have known Dr. Weinerman for years but had my first check up a few months ago. She was very thorough and explained everything clearly, including some great advice about preventing eye damage with the supplement lutein. Her clinic is beautiful and has up to date diagnostic equipment. If you are looking for an Optometrist then your search ends here!
