People can not read sign on the floor which way to walk. Kids hanging out and looking at you. Why are you here. How many will end up with c-19. Will not be going to the mall no time soon for sure
When all hope was lost online I can Xbox series s in my hands just by walking in
Fewer stores in mall for man with Dad bod. Got my haircut though and found some deals at winners
We can find everything in micmac mall I liked the bay store Just amazing
Nice mall. Friendly people. Lots of stores. Lots of parking
Clean, helpful staff, very few people which is good considering covid. Needs more stores
Good variety of stores and services. Needs an update to its food court (mostly to just provide more seating for the busier times of year) and needs to figure out something to replace the Target location. Otherwise, its keep very clean, and most of the employees in the stores are super helpful and easy to work with. :)
Lots of stores. Huge variety. Yearly Easter egg hunt is awesome(put on by Superstore) They really need to get new escalators though. I'm annoyed that every time we go there, at least one isn't working.
Best Mall Ever. I used to go after school in grade primary. I work there for KFC.
Great spot. Always has been. Fantastic selection, easy to navigate. The mall is continuously evolving and updating although I'm still sore about them putting the end to Woody the Christmas Tree, they axed much more than a talking tree that year but that's another story. Food court is clean.
Hopefully this mall will improve with its new management. It has many vacancies and construction is constant for years, making shopping difficult. Disappointing they have not updated the name to reflect positive cultural exchange not a misunderstanding of pronunication from centuries ago!
It's always nice to visit the mall. The crowds were just right. Not to busy. Was easy to get around and go where we needed to go. The changes in the facade look nice. You can tell they really want to improve the shopping experience.
Mic Mac Mall you bring back fond memories for me, of visiting Woody and fun with friends on Saturdays, but, you should consider trying to get all of the stores back on the same page during COVID-19 with more set hours. I often go in after work and supper to find some stores open and some closed for the day. As a customer I map out where I want to go and look at individual store websites to avoid disappointment. Sadly by not having all the shops open at once, they loose that impulsive buy and contribute to the further decline of brick and mortar store fronts.
It was a very busy spot today. Obviously March break, you can always tell by the empty packages. Kids steal too much.
Lots of friendly staff in every store we went to. Kept us busy for hours and went home broke.
Big place. Lots to look at a s shop around. Great for everyone and all ages
Pretty empty and lots of wasted space around. Way to much walking between stores for someone with mobility issues.
Great place to hang out. Clothing, bedding, shoes and everything else you can find on a shopping mall. Great spaces to have a good time with your loved ones.
Great mall but seems to be less and less stores every time I go
Great little mall! Lots to see and lots of stores to shop! They have undergone some huge renovations improving the mall's overall wow factor. Wheelchair accessible, great customer service staff and lots of places to sit and chill and take a break!
I find the diversity at this mall better than Halifax shop.. more selection for the whole family rather than just strictly women's clothing/accessories/shoe stores like at Halifax shopping centre.
Winners was ok not much in the store looks like there closing
Good mall with plenty of reasonably priced stores, lots of parking and bus service.
Haven't been here for several months. Some new stores including Linen Chest. They were greeting customers and offering coffee. Staff friendly and helpful. It was a lovely intro to the store.
This is a nice mall. Unfortunatly it has has the worst food court ive ever seen in a mall
Lots of shops, and great deals.
Very pleasant place to shop, and grab a bite to eat in the very clean food court.
More cell phone stores and teen clothing stores than anything else. Still a few decent shops to keep me coming back, though.
Generally there was a good selection of stores and food offerings.
Nice clean mall, it had what I needed. I've never seen an electronic directory before but it was really user-friendly.
My favourite mall for sure!
They have a talking Christmas tree…what more do you want?
I loved this place, it's huge and with a lot of shops. They for sure support LGTB+ community and staff it's super kind and servicial.
Lots of good shopping. Very clean. Plenty of parking.
Also good as malls go. Not sure exactly what a bad mall would look like.
I mean I work there, it's a mall so you know mall things
Great mall. Lots of variety. Looking forward to the renovations being complete
Food court was very small and not many stores were opened compare to the size of the mall. Enjoyed shopping at few stores.
Keep lying about the traffic the mall gets so more stores get leases. The mall is so bare and needs more food options.
Many empty stores. Nothing special, and no where as vibrant as 10 years ago. Very few shoppers.
If u need food its there & dollar store there n cook chicken places r there n of course MacDonald n dairy queen so u have a good veriaty of everything
There's lots of stores, mostly clothing, a couple jewelry stores, drug store, a food court on third level, good selection, there's also an elevator, which is good... Some stores a bit pricey.. Overall good a mall
It's got stores, and they're open, for the most part. Better than having to do online clothes shopping, but still, a very confusing time all around.
Couldn't use my credit card at Guest Services to purchase a gift card for my daughter, because their payment machines don't have swipe capability, only tap or chip. Not good.
I'm not a mall goer as a rule. Mic Mac seems to be geared towards the average consumer. No really high end stores, a few bargain stores. All in all, it's ok.
It's my favorite mall in the HRM. The food court is good, the size of the mall is excellent. I find the store selection is very good. It's easy to find your way around the mall, and the have several places to give directions. They offer nursing mothers a lounge, and they typically provide complimentary gift wrapping during the Christmas season.
Went to the mall today and spent 4 hours shopping for Christmas. It was was a hood day. Have to go back to finish my shopping
Google keeps asking me to review this place over and over. Did when I was there a year ago. Now every time I drive by it asks again and again and again . . . Saying I wasn't there doesn't work ever! Guess Google tracking will soon have to be terminated!
Great place to get make-up, great food, and desserts! Their bathrooms are generally really clean and nice, and the people working there are really kind. Another thing i'd like to add is they have animal cruelty free makeup there!
Great mall. However, the girls at Sephora are quite stuck up. The girls at Shoppers dont know a thing about cosmetics..but was delighted at the friendliness of the girls at Body Shop. Super sweet...very frisndly girls.
Plenty of parking and great selection of retailers. The mall is undergoing a lot of renovations to rejuvenate it and keep it up to date.
Great place to get out of the weather and find all the standard shops; clothing, food, some Newfoundland Chocolate Comp. and much more...
3 levels of Great shopping. Choices for High end requirements, and budget minded individuals alike. Lots of choices from fashion to food.
Mic Mac Mall is a place in transition. There are several vacant shop areas awaiting tenants; some with signage indicating that new tenants will be arriving; some without signage. Typically, the closer we get towards Christmas, the more we start to see seasonal stores using the spaces. I have usually found the mall staff to be helpful and considerate. amenities: The washrooms are not in the best of shape and that's being diplomatic. the overall air quality can be a little difficult after about 20 minutes. I have often encountered women with tiny humans looking for the designated quiet space where they can nurse their infant - so signage is a bit of an issue there. with three levels and washrooms on every level, one would think there would be more than one hidden area in the mall for this. Not all ladies are personally comfortable nursing their baby in a more public setting. People travelling with large strollers or those persons who use wheelchairs seem to end up in long queues to use the main elevator - which can hold two large strollers and a couple of friendly adults at a time, a situation which tends to provoke many adults into taking their strollers and the occupants onto the escalators - an activity which causes everyone a certain amount of visual stress. It is nice to see there are now more areas with soft chairs / sofa type settings so that someone, (usually but not always, a man) can wait comfortably - while someone else (usually but not always, a woman) can finish shopping. the food court is always awkward to negotiate, whether it's busy or not - there is something about the layout that seems to encourage a lot of people bumping into or nearly bumping into a lot other people. fortunately, Canadians are really good at apologising and fortunately, Maritimers are a pretty darn friendly bunch. It would be so nice to see this mall undergo a renovation / modernisation because it is a convenient place to shop with the solid expected variety of stores.
A place to find all different types of stores in the line of outerwear, Jewellery, shoes, jeans etc..also the many different eating establishments. A one-stop shopping experience.
No place to sit in the mail, most stores in the mall severely over priced. It appears to be a mall for wealthy people, not every day ordinary people. What a disgrace!!
Great selection. Med size food court with choice and great access to buses
Mic Mac mall has gone down hill. When we were there at supper time every other store was closed down for the night. I thought all shops had to be open from 9:30-9:30? That's how it was when I worked there. The store was fined for closing early. It's a shame that it will just be a memory.just like penhorn!
Main entrance has only 4 accessible spaces, making the entrance quite difficult to access at high volume times for persons with special needs.
Crowded in small stores with no social distancing. I just left the mall because of people breathing down my neck in line ups. Kids running stores. Maybe you guys should get it together before you are completely shut down again!
This was once the largest shopping mall in Atlantic Canada. Over the last 25 years, many shops have come and gone. Those that remain are worth going to however several shops have closed within the past six months.
Great shops but not as busy as it used to be many years ago. Bring back the arcade ????????
Nicest mall in Nova Scotia, don't miss out.
It’s got plenty stores that are otherwise unavailable in Halifax and easy to reach if you know your way around or not.
Theres a good range of stores here, can be really busy at times but theres lots of parking so that is never a problem for us.
Wide selection of stores for clothing and accessories. Main reason I loved it was because of the Cinnabon. They are incredibly hard to find in the Maritimes
Bigger than the big mall in Halifax. Great shopping if you like shopping Under One Roof.
I love the mic mac mall for the fact that everything is one building unlike dartmouth crossing. Although the mall seems to always be under renovation and the stores are always moving around, it really is becoming a beautiful mall and has really great stores.
Always a treat to have Olivia do my nails
Enjoy the mall, fair selection of shops. Clean and not too busy
Big, open, clean and a lot of stores. Take someone who is not in a hurry so you can take your time and browse ????
Great location for shopping various stores. Very close to bus terminals which makes it great for those who travel by bus.
Spent lots of time in this mall. It feels small now, not that it is. Lots of great stores, coffee choices, food choices and more. Feels very congested at peak times of the year.
Mic Mac Mall is a great place to go. My wife and I get our hair done at one of their salon, we love to eat at the food court, and browse through the many other stores.
Been going here for years. Although the stores have changed over time, it's still a good place to shop if you're looking for anything.
Mic Mac Mall is great place for shopping. This is a large mall with lot of stores which makes the shopping easier. There are lot of branded shops inside this mall. This shopping centre had a good food court offering wide variety of foods including international foods. This mall is clean and well maintained.
A fairly large mall. Kept clean too. You can really find what you are looking for as there is pretty much literally any popular shop there. Good food court too.
The Mall has a wide variety of stores to suit most of your needs. It has a nice interior, despite it needing a bit of an upgrade. The biggest negative is that since Target left, there is a large portion of the mall that goes unused for most of the year. Overall Mic Mac is a nice mall, and is the last one left in Dartmouth.
This my favourite place to shop in the HRM - lots of choice, clean and plenty of parking. I especially like that the Bay is there as it's Canada's last department store.
good to take your kids there
The Mic Mac is a place I usually went to. However, with Dartmouth Crossings and other such locations, I just don't find myself that intrigued anymore with the Mic Mac and what it has to offer.
It changed my life I can now play the piano
Great mall with a lot of selection. Parking was easy and convenient.
Nice to explore on a hot day or rainy weather... Some of my favorite stores still here, but seems to be losing long time tennants...
It should have a cinema, grocery store and some restaurants other than fast food. Typical mall and nothing impressive.
Very nice mall it’s nothing out of the ordinary but its nice clean I gave it all you need for some shopping
Good social distancing procedures put in place. Feels nice to be able to get out and feel safe too.
Convenient, lots of parking, easy to navigate and has everything you need for shopping!
Lots of shops in one location. Fantastic maps at main entrances to help you navigate the mall.
Lots of stores and amazing styles and selections ☺️
Classic Halifax mall experience. They've gotten a bit of a face-lift in the past two years but otherwise the charm is still there in the rounded food court, giant glass ceilings and yearly holiday decorations around November - January. Highly recommended spots: H&M, Sunrise Records, Decathlon, Winners, EB Games, Lush. Vilegroove.bandcamp.com
Nice little mall with the usual compliment of clothing and jewelry stores. Winners on one end and The Bay on the other, with a big Shoppers Drug Mart, too. There are also a few one of a kind shops like Scholars Choice which has a large selection of items for teachers/classrooms!
Nothing bad to say about this place. Went here all my life and has everything a shopper needs besides a grocery store (Unless you count shoppers). Kinda wished it had a Mcdonalds but I guess there are enough nearby Mcdonalds at Dartmouth crossing (Shubie) and Nantucket (Bridge Terminal).
There isnt a whole lot left or going on in this mall. There's still good food in the food court.
This mall is so big. Great place to shop for the whole family
Great selection of services
Good for this time of year with no one following any sort of restrictions dispirite the rise in covid cases yet again
Stores close too early. I understand this is due to Covid though. Good experience otherwise.
Biggest mall in the Atlantic provinces. Lots of variety in its many shops. Something for everyone. Some good options in the overly crowded food court. Could use more seating.
There was a lot of construction last time I went. Besides that I found that there's a ridiculous amount of clothing stores.
This old Mall is still in great shape. It has 3 levels with a large bright open center area. There is something for everyone. The food court is on the top floor and serves good food.
Great location three stories of stores very few empty location. I miss having a large affordable department store like zellars and target.
It's under construction, but the deal seem to be pretty worthwhile and the standard shops set up inside.
I have been impressed with the friendly and caring staff. They are wonderful with seniors, and I suspect good with family members of all ages. I love this mall!! ❤️
Typical mall, lots of stores. Unusual Christmas tree.
Lots of vacancy. Most stores hearted towards trends and tween shoppers. Looks high end, but mostly bargain basement type stores doing clearance.
It's Atlantic Canada so there's not really much choice. As far as it goes it's pretty decent for shopping and food
A little busy but not for Saturday Hard to find a seat in the food court
It's nice, but there's a lot of clothing stores for females. It's a woman's mall, but I suppose they all are. *TRIGGERED*
One of the main malls in the area. Does have some stores like The Bay and Build-A-Bear Workshop which you can't find elsewhere in the city. Recently renovated but many stores have left due to the pandemic. Somehow looks nice and rundown at the same time
Fantastic place to shop around! Tons of excellent stores to choose from!
All stores are open..masks must be worn.
Clean, secure, beauty and very good stores to walk and buy.
Nice mall.
A decent place to shop but a little tired. Used to have some beautiful palms in the center court but they are gone; too bad. A good selection of boutiques mixed with chain operations. High end shops to everyday stores. Three levels make the trip more interesting as you get to ride one of the few remaining escalators left in the city. Incredible amount of parking.
So happy Woody is back.
Decent mall with some nice stores. The layout is confusing, and they should have an interactive map on each floor. Plenty of parking and never extremely busy.
Good selection, many escalators to get up to the 3rd floor, they could use more elevators for disabled and partners with small children in strollers
A lot of empty retail shops and different opening hours for many stores. I would recommend a mid afternoon visit to ensure all stores are open to shop. Atmosphere was not great, get in and out kinda mall.
Lots of selection and always a new store to check out
great place to shop, friendly people. Great service. and just about a lil piece of everything.
The stores here there offer a little something for everyone. It is conveniently located for people coming "to the city" to shop, as it is right off the Circumferential highway. It is also close to Dartmouth Crossing (5 mnutes) and completes that whole "city shopping" trip.
Great shopping place if they don't change store location every 20 seconds
Love shopping! But where the hell is the security though when a woman is screaming and slapping her kids in the main entrance....? FAIL
75% of the stores have polite, helpful staff but it seems Many stores are leaving the mall
Nice place. Has a lot of good shops and a food court on the third floor.
Lots of selection here! Good food options in the food court, and tons of great stores!
Wonderful variety of shops but no Grocery store.
This mall has a lot of great stores. If you need a break from shopping, you can go to the third floor where you'll find various food places. This mall is wheelchair accessible and has an elevator to go from floor to floor. They also have wheelchairs available if one is needed, but sometimes they are already being used. The best times to shop there, would be during weekday mornings or early afternoon, to avoid the rush hours. It's a great mall with a great variety of stores.
Always been my favorite mall, i prefer the mall experience to shopping. Get inside and go shop to shop.
This got to be the largest inside mall in the Atlantic Provinces. It has aged gracefully through the decades since it was built. Plenty of free parkings and handicap parkings. Built for wheel chair accessible. Plenty of polished retailers from independents to national brand names stores. It's a very spacious friendly mall with washrooms on each level. Elevators and esculators were available to each floor. Security is well presented. The food court is very well equipped with plenty to tables and chairs. Also plenty of food vendors from different international cuisines. It is truly a relaxing place for shopping and browsing. It is a must to go mall whenever you visit Halifax & Dartmouth, NS.
Great mall to check out in Dartmouth. Three floors with one of the floors being a food court. New stores always opening up all the time and due to its location - it is very accessible by bus.
Best mall in Dartmouth. 3 floors of stores.
Very nice mall. Lots of stores to choose from and visually pleasing as well.
Lots of empty stores now. Unfortunate
Good mall, bigger shop than Moncton. A must stop when going to Halifax, mostly for Lush Store, and Decathlon
Love this mall. Everything u could be looking for there
Its a mall, and there's stores, I like stores, so yeah. There's also a food court there
I Like It, Some Stores Are Better Then Others, Some Things Are Over Priced, But Still, Some Can Be Very Useful And Good! You Should Get The Employees To Know All The Stores, Because Some Don't Know, And Tell You The Wrong Direction. For Instance, I Wanted To Go To Laura's Ice Cream Place (Or Something Like That) And The Employees Sent Us On A Wild Goose Chase! All Three Floors, Not Fun. My Feet Hurt And We Had To Leave Shortly After. After they took Target out, there's really not a normal 'get everything' store there. :( Overall, 4 1/2 Dolphins.
American Eagle had the best customer service out of all places!
Great mall to visit alittle bit of everything to look at, good food and shopping and if you're trying to kill time you can do it here for sure!
had what we wanted and we were able to get some jewelry repaired fast
Clean, easy to navigate mall. Food court is a boring mess, and there's a good variety of stores to cater to most needs.
I enjoy the Spencer's, EB games sold me horizon zero dawn and I love it
put back the starbucks seating area you hooligans .. there’s no reason i should have to go up 2 floors to drink my coffee in peace
Great selection of store to shop at. Just got new boots!
Was totally disgusted at two of the three washrooms being out of order. The remaining washroom that was on the first floor only has two stalls! Dear God,I am on the top floor having lunch and now have to make a trip to the bottom and wait! And to top this, no escalators and a continuous crowded elevator! NOT IMPRESSED after travelling two hours!
They are a good hang out spot and if you have the money, a lot of stores can help you with all your needs. I think this mall caters to the more young teenagers and little kids. But they do have old navy, the bay, and a few adult clothing stores. Though mostly for women. I would like to see more male stores for just men.
This mall is HUGE, and it has changed over the years in regards to the stores that have been and are currently in the store. My favorite current store is HMV, and my favorite store that used to be in Mic Mac Mall was Zellers.
Food court could be better, but all the basic shops are here.
Great mall lots of different shops, unfortunately not many of the shops carry men's clothing in larger sizes.
Higher end stores than it used to have. Still not as high end as Halifax shopping centre. Great mall though, close to Dartmouth crossing which makes it great for people from all over to come and get all of the shopping done between here and the shopping centre.
Best mall in Nova Scotia. Don't aspect this mall similar to Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver mall's, but it's ok for Atlantic Canada.
Mic Mac Mall has a good mix of stores. You should be able to find what you need without going outside Dartmouth. During Christmas this year "Woody" the tree was out ???? 7/10 for Woody
The mall has a lot of empty space right now, lots of good stores. Covid is hurting indoor shopping.
One of my favourite Malls. It’s bigger then the one on Halifax side and has three floors. There’s a lot of updating going on in 2019, which is great! There a big Winners connected and there is even a fast oil change van outside in the parking-lot. I find its best to go there during early morning and before 3pm, typical work day I guess. Starbucks inside near the main entrance wishing small seating area. Place for breast feeding a pregnant women to sit away from the crowds. Very comfy, sat there a bit before the mall was officially opened ha ha! Lots of selection from clothes, food on top floor, music, kitchen, house supplies, and a Pharmacy. It has everything except for a grocery store.
A variety of stores located in this multi level facility in Dartmouth with nearby access to highways. Lots of parking with a variety of stores and a food court on the upper level.
All was very clean, not many people on a Friday afternoon.
Stores seem to be moving out or dont have much. Renovations are taking place but that doesn't help the stores poor selections and prices. 2 star because it is what it is and fairly clean.
Fav thing to do is put old shoes in a new shoe box and then leave it in the food court. They will be stolen in under 30 minutes. Cool experience, will do again.
When I'm free I go there for shopping
Beautiful mall!
It has all the stores you want to shop at. But the outside could use a facelift.
Grew up going to this mall!
Sad to see so many empty locations, used to be the premier shopping centre
Always busy and decent food court. Great place for gifting. But never wait till last minute as it can become hectic.
Better, arguably, than halifax shopping centre but it's on this side of the water. Not as critical now that Dartmouth Crossing is open but still good enough.
Awesome mall to get a real shopping experience also clean and a awesome food court.
????
This mall out does itself everytime. Always great shops and places to grab a bite. Beautiful bright interior that is welcoming. Love it, used to hang out here while in college.
Simply amazing, every store for what you need. food clothes technology, haircuts, you name it they have it.
Good places to shop, always busy, great places to eat in the food court!
More and More stores are closing. I think Dartmouth Crossing has an advantage here if you think logically
Good store options that are not available at other malls. Although it was 3 floors, it was well laid out with maps of the stores locations.
This was the place to hang out when I was a kid, and it’s even more hip now. Not as clean as I would like though.
Huge mall, pretty much everything you could want. Only real downside in my opinion, there's only public wifi at the food court and select shops.
Great selection of stores. Very clean. Parking gets full fast.
Good mall but you guys better not have gotten rid of Taco Bell. Is it coming back??
The better mall in Halifax. Three floors with lots to choose from. Food court isn't as nice as Halifax Shopping Centre, but store selection makes up for that.
Went there especially to see Woody to take pics for my granddaughter. Had lunch in the food court. Lots of shops for finding that perfect gift ????.
A very good mall, great stores inside, starting to look a bit dated.
Mostly clothing retailers. If you want to overspend on your clothing, go here. The only perk is it's all in the same building. Don't expect any surprises though.
Would be nice to have better businesses that are less expensive and not costly to customers
If you like shopping, you will be happy. If your the +1 for shopping, you will be less than impressed because you are going to be there for a while
Good place to park and read a book while your kid goes mall crawling with their friends. If only they would learn to take the bus...
Great mall, the renovations really make this a nice clean mall. I love the set up for Christmas. The decorations are beautiful and the polar Express beside Santa is amazing not to mention free pictures with Santa!!! Well appreciated!!
The place is starting to show its age a bit and probably due for a renovation. Still has a really wide selection of stores.
I:00 pm on Saturday. The store is busy and there's a line-up at the cash register, nine people in front of me. I wait in line, resting on my walker, fully expecting the sales person to be harried at least and perhaps cranky by the time I reach her. She's neither harried nor cranky. Instead, she is calm and patient, even though I can't find my credit card at first and then forget my pin, while there's a line of people behind me. When the transaction is complete, she steps out from behind the counter to help me get my parcels tucked into the carrier on my walker. It's amazing how one small act of kindness can brighten one's day. I'm sorry I didn't get her name.
Middle of the road, as far as malls go. The tailor here, Mic Mac Tailor, is Exceptional! The food court Pretty Yummy. Once in a blue I can find some decent clothes or products, but not always
so big so many shops but pls addmore video game we need more like mario and fortnite and ZOMBS ROYALE GEMS
People like to criticize this place right now because it's under construction. I don't believe that's a reasonable reason. Dismal has a lot of variety, is clean, has good restaurants, and seems to be enjoying a Renaissance, since they didn't seem to be doing too well a few years ago. They have stores like HomeSense, winners, the bay, and other big box stores like linen chest, SportChek, and indigo are coming soon.
Always seems to have an escalator broken down & you never know if your favourite store has called it quits and moved on to Dartmouth Crossing or not. Used to love going to Kent while the better half shopped here - now that's not an option with their recent move to Dart Crossing.
A pretty decent mall. Nice variety of shops, decent food court, and good public transit access
I don't shop in Dartmouth as a rule and it was a Sunday....so pretty quiet overall. The staff were curteous
Sooooooo depressing at 7pm. Just about everything is closed by around 6. So if you're working full-time, don't bother going over there. At least not for now.
My favorite mall. Many shops and nice food court. Christmas decoration is too good
Good mall, but doesn't have a variety of food choices. Not really big.
Great, diverse number of stores, should change their name to the proper spelling though... #Mi'kmaq
So many stores to choose from
Excellent choice of places to eat. Lots of stores . but over priced. Best place for the rich and dumb.
Want to go shopping for bargains and cool items. I recommend this mall for either shopping for a gift, for home, for you the family, plus there’s always the food court. Grab a fast bite, there’s dining with isolated areas, or take away. The food is tasty and fresh at some locations. I went to another location and this is not what I got that time. The pieces was small and dry. The fries was just what you are seeing. You need to change your attitude, screaming will not help, the line up after placing your order and the line up to place the order should not be so close together.
Mic Mac mall is timeless apart of Dartmouth's culture. Good food court and great collection of shops.
There aren't many good stores (or stores at all) here anymore, unfortunately. For most people, it would probably be better to go to the Halifax Shopping Centre.
The nursing room isnt terribly private and doesnt accommodate strollers well.
It's a nice mall but like many, full of too many empty stores as online shopping takes over. I still prefer to see items before buying
Beautiful mall, has all you could ever want to shop for. Love it!!
Everything you need for shopping is here, other stores you want to see are just close by. And it is just minutes away from Dartmouth crossing.
Nice place to hang around
The Mall has been around forever and it's ok. Parking space size is the only thing that is lacking but they need to maximize spaces to get as many people in. I much prefer a mall than a place like Dartmouth Crossing with stores placed all over the place so you have to drive to each one and you can't remember where they all are half the time. Malls are much better for convenience.
Guest Services was very helpful!
It’s nice and cleaned up but is just so bare with not many options left anymore.
Was at Mic Mac Mall for the first time in ages. Lots of the old stores still there as well as a few new ones. Mainly clothing stores. The Bay is the only big box store there and the ony one on Nova Scotia. They are trying to compete with an an outdoor shopping centre. Not sure how that is going.
Never thought I'd ever find anything at Winters for me but I was wrong they've got a lot of nice brand name clothes for a fraction of the price that you pay her the brand name stores
Mall is well flourished with stores for everyone, well lit, kept clean and tidy. The food court is tiny and there's not much room to move around. They don't even trust you to throw out your own trash in the food court, they make you give your tray to a worker who will separate the foods, plastics and garbages. All in all, don't go to the food court, but do visit the constantly-under-construction mall!
Still the best shopping experience in the Metro area.
This mall has an interesting history that they had plastered on one of their entrance corridor walls but later decided to remove for their new Winner's sign. I never cared to read the history as I already wasted 4 years of my life in college reading stuff I didn't care about, so don't quiz me on the history. As for stores, it has them. Clothing, jewellery, EB Games, Spencer's has sex toys so they even have that. There's also a food court allllll the way upstairs.
I love going to this Mall. It has a lot of choices in retail stores, information counter, bank, ATM, Food court all under one roof. Three stories of shopping in a beautiful, spacious and welcoming atmosphere.
Dipped in to see Woody the Tree, as my youngest never experienced him since we moved away. Great run into the mall for some Christmas shopping. Nice to have Decathlon in the city too.
Great place do do some quiet shopping. Get there early and it's great!
Loved it! Got everything under one roof there and loved the food as well.
Though it is not as glamours as it used to be (before Dartmouth Crossing opened), its still tons of stores under one roof. Food court on the top floor has a good selection, stroller rentals can be found on the bottom floor. You can walk around for hours and not get too bored if you are from out of town, though if you live right in Halifax I can see the "in and out" approach taking over.
Plenty of shops and attractions, but easy to find your way around. Don't do your Christmas shopping in November unless you like people watching and long lines at the checkout counters!
Big Mall has it all
Good selection of stores. Staff in each store have been very helpful, pleasant and engaging. Love shopping at mic mac.
One of the premier shopping malls in the Maritimes. One of the last places around with a big HBC/The Bay store. The mall is one of the few big multi level malls in the Maritimes as well. Good place to kill your wallet and some time.
Great mall with a wide selection of stores.
I come to shop here because I can also get an EV charge!
Went to the indigo/chapters it was really big with lots of books
Since they updated the mall, I find it really hard to manoeuvre. The signs that indicate the entrance number is not helpful. They are printed very small and in no real order that really makes sense. Maybe I'm just really bad at directions but it took me 20 mins walking around the mall to find entrance 4.
Nice clean mall, mostly clothing stores though.
Has a great variety of shops, some with great prices, others too pricey. But all in all its a great place to spend your money
People in these malls don't understand people are handicapped and have many mental illness. I have watched people bump into others in wheelchairs and push them out the way. Be kind. There needs to be lanes in there like IKEA. You people are so rude when I went in for Christmas shopping it disgusted me. It's about love... Not your materialistic items.
Lots of people at the mall today .
Favorite mall to visit.
Great place been going there since I was a kid but a lack of some good stores lately
I loved this place because of it's happy-go-lucky vibe. I especially love it because it supports LGBTQ+ with their little rainbow section. Staff are friendly and I've had jo bad experiences here!
Lots of great stores for my daughter! One stop shopping for her.
Standard mall with everything you would expect. Fairly clean. The bathrooms could use some work.
Lots of stores in a climate controlled mall witb a large food court and ample parkin'. Escalators and an elevator. Clean, spacious, bright. Nice place to shop.
Three level shopping centre. There is a fair selection of shopping, clean facilities and a satisfactory food court. This mall has done work over the last few years to imorove and bring a better selection to shoppers in an attempt not to be outdone by the Halifax Shopping Centre.
The mall has so many closed stores.
LOVE IT THERE! Very nice stores and nice people. Good kids stores too. A nice place to get gifts! Very happy! :D
We went this evening at 7pm. Website says open. There were about 3 stores open, they all closed at 7pm. Not pleased.
Good mall lots of shops good food court NL chocolate made here check it out well worth the trip
One of the escalators has been out the past two times I've been there (one month apart). Besides that nothing to complain about here.
There are so many stores and places where you can eat!!???????? BEST MALL EVER!!????????
Nice Mall to purchase all clothing and accessories. Currently, summer sales are going on in many stores like The Bay, winners, etc. Grab the opportunity if you are a shopper alcoholic. Pic- waiting for the bus...
You can find most of the shops inside this mall. Really a good one
Always a pleasure to shop here. A wide variety of stores in a clean, spacious mall environment provides a Covid friendly atmosphere for shopping.
Could not find what we went for and the food court food was less than good. Would have been better of going to the Halifax Shopping Center.
The only thing I can say is it's a mall that has many stores, the environment is terrible, and it is annoying to walk around and have the escalators not working on a regular basis is absolutely ridiculous when you need them to get to the second and third floor so have your legs nice and fresh if you don't want to squish in the elevator during a pandemic you'll be walking up a bunch of stairs.
Covid makes it quite eery. Not the malls fault tho! It was easy to shop in
Got to look around, have never really been there to much but was easy to navigate with lots of options for stores to browse through. Very clean mall was impressed after I got my hair cut at Tommy Gun's, great experience all around.
It's clean and roomy. Stores are well stocked and the employees are well mannered and curteous.
Feels and looks like a dying Mall. Seriously out of date building with a handful of good stores mixed in with a bunch of budget and local merchants (which is good too, but hardly a place to spend the afternoon) head to Halifax Shopping Centre instead.
Closely located bus stop makes us idol for no car commuters. Plenty of options for shopaholics.
Nice place to go for shopping. Food court is ok but could use a restaurant.
Easy access ..3 floors. ..food court etc. Suitable for most shopping needs.
Very crowded it seems that people weren't following guidelines social distancing rules were out the door a little uncomfortable because every day on Nova scotia's website there are always a lot of public exposures for covid-19 there
Awesome shopping compared to other cities. I'll always keep going back to the Mic Mac Mall. I love it
Always enjoy seeing what's new in th e mall, while still experiencing the old-school Mic Mac feeling (especially in the food court - thoughI DO miss the photo booth!) Still an awesome shopping experience, years later. ????
This mall has been around for a while, but the owner keeps it current. You can generally find what you are looking for without having to go to another site.
The mall is great but...... my daughter and I endured a very dis-pleasing experience at villa madina... the servers where very very very very very rude... one of the worst customer service experience!! We are from Toronto and would expect better from a smaller city. Will not order food from Villa Madina again not recommend it.
A lot of empty stores compared to the last time I was in there it's nice to see this would be nice to see this place Thrive again
Very large 3 floored mall, food court, there is only 1 elevator and it's slow and busy. Ample parking and a chapters with Starbucks is located right next door
Mall is great with lots of shopping for the small city, only draw back is the current construction inside the facility.
Very crowded, some people dont follow the social distancing rules. Some good stores though and good food Haha
First visit and it was at opening on a Tuesday so it was really slow. But seems like a decent place.
Great place to shop for anything.
Great mall! Plenty of parking areas. I like that a few of the stores have alternate entrances so you don't have to go all though the mall if you only want to go to one specific store. There's quite a few bathrooms although recently there has been some work being done to the female ones. Also, the escalators have been getting a lot of maintenance done to them too.
Mall fit for niche clothing go getters. A record store, a game store, a toy store. Etc. 50 clothing stores. Great parking. Great security. Great location.
I like this mall better than the Halifax shopping center. Never disappointed.
Love how they have everything set up for covid!
Nice mall with a huge selection of stores. Fantastic food court.
I went to the bell store to get a screen protector for my phone,I wasn't sure what size it was so I ask the sales man what one was the best one for my phone because there was only two to pick from so I bought the one he suggested and bought it i did everything in the instructions put on and noticed the edge wasn't sticking the protector was for a phone flat screen and my screen has the curved edges it's on my phone now can't that it back have to live don't rely on the sales person that is the bottom line.
I go for my favorite treat. Cinnabon. It is a 1 and a half hour trip. But it is awesome. Staff are very pleasant to talk to.
Pretty big mall, a few stores are closed due to the pandemic.
Great mall. It’s huge so you have so many options ! I like going here because they have slightly different options and stores than the HSC mall so I don’t feel like I’m just walking around the same place.
Dont shop ardenes here. Walked in with my 2 kids and was instantly followed by 4 workers when I was doing nothing wrong
Minus the reservations the mall is lovely, I like it better than Halifax shopping centre.
Emma @ koodo poor customer service, rude and pointed when speaking. Get served by another koodo member.
Love the variety of stores and the layout. Lots of options in the food court too!
It was just great to be able to shop again. It was fun.
It was great. Changed quite a bit since I was last in there. The door I entered (we always called it the main door LoL) use to have the kiosk with the map and store listings. It was gone!! I was so confused with all the changes. I was a mess trying to find what I needed. I found one at another door but I was already at the store I wanted. Took me 15 minutes to find it. I'm disabled. Anyway, other than that it was great. Honestly, I'm not really complaining, just telling you of my experience ????
The mall is cheery and bright and beautifully decorated for the Christmas season.
Great mall. Lots of shopping choices. Very clean. Lots of parking.
Been there as long as I can remember, lots of stores, good parking, pretty basic mall.
A great place to shop. Can't wait to see what she going to look like when the renovations are done.
The larger stores are getting better at helping you when you need assistance finding something. All of the smaller clothing stores are the same. When you enter the store nobody says Hi to you, you are ignored all the time you are there and nobody ever asks you if you need help finding something in the store when they can clearly see you are looking for something that's very poor customer service in any store. ????
I went here a lot as a child and I think its a wonderful mall. If you are going here, try getting the chicken shwarma from Medinas!
Great bread store. And there are the hottest baristas in One of the coffee shops
Most things here seem closed during the pandemic and there's like 10 people so it seems like a ghost small but it has the place where I'm picking up my Xbox Series X console from pre-order so that's cool.
Great mall with a wide variety of stores and a good court. Something for everyone!
Solid little mall, very clean, decent choice in stores.
Good mall and the only mall on the Dartmouth side. Ur head all the standard stores and the food city is pretty good.
For a guy in his late 20's there is not a lot for me, stockhomme might be the only clothes store I have bought from there in years and I frequent the mall often with my wife and friends. Food court is great, love the kfc/taco bell! Lush, scholars choice, and EB games all good!
Shared in another post. Amazing staff and manager.
I think for the first time ever I didn't have a problem getting a parking spot. The mall was pretty dead not sure if it's because we are in quarantine again or if it's because it was a beautiful day outside and most people wanted to be outside getting fresh air. The mall was clean, there are arrows on the floor to clearly indicate which direction to go and the security were right on the ball to help direct you if you go the wrong way.
I'm not much of a shopper but it appears the mall is going the way of the dodo but those that survive are becoming super malls like Mic Mac with lots of large high end stores. Despite that, the food court and washrooms are tired here, particularly compared to the new Halifax Shopping Centre renovations.
The mic mac mall was once a big shopping mall. Since Target closed, the mall is very empty. A lot of small businesses are failing, and the mall starts to feel empty. But, there’s the bay, and winners and homesense, so you can’t complain. Overall, a great shopping mall!
I just went to look around .. but alot of people don't practice social distance in the food court that is ...
The mall s smallish n the toilets r far
Hade a great time and the workers are supper kind 10/10
For such a large mall there are very few bathrooms, and the ones they did have were either out of order, completely out of toilet paper and hand towels, or just plain disgusting.
Nice Mall that is constantly being updated. The new wing is very modern and bright with new stores.
Had a lot of fun and everything's easy to find
Good mall. Nice selection of stores. Food court is fantastic.
This mall is a good place to shop. Lots of retail stores, plenty of free parking and a small selection of places to eat. The mall is also handicapped friendly.
An ideal place to find anything you really need or want as well as having good healthy food choices in the food court.
New renovations are making this mall look sleek and inviting ... One stop shop !
????
Good selection, some empty spots, very clean place, good food court.
So much in one place, better than outlets...it's an "inlet" mall...????
Security and management policy of this shopping center is a disgrace security had my daughter in tears after removing her from her mother.....another shopper was also spoken to very rudly and this lady ended up getting her father who also was a security guard to calm the situation. We all have had a bad year with Covid but it does not give the right to some jumped up Hitler guard to play God as people shop shame on you management and security of Mic Mac mall. I will stay far away from that establishment...and I hope lots of other people do the same.
CoVid 19 immunization. Excellent organization inside, poor consideration given to off loading and pickup of disabled people outside.
Clean shopping mall. Great selection of stores. Easy to navigate. Lots of parking.
Lots of variety in shops and has a nice food court. Always my go to place to do some shopping or hang out with friends
Nova Scotia health Pfizer vaccine location 39 Mic Mac Boulevard
I love this mall because it has everything you need in one place. It is always busy, but I like that. The premises is always clean. Close parking can be hard to find at times though.
A decent selection of stores. Clean inside. I wish they would do something about the people walking around inside with boom boxes blasting music. It's a weird thing to complain about but every time I go I run into 2 people doing this. It's a mall, show them what headphones are.
One of the bigger malls in the province. Probably the most known. Great selection of stores.
Had a great experience at the mall. A lot of stores and variety for everyone! Very clean spacious mall. We especially enjoyed build a bear ????
It's a mall, stores, food, people. Pretty clean, decent selection. Pretty good overall.
Went for Covid vaccine. Easy in and out. Kind staff
lots of stores to shop at and a great food court!
The mall was clean, parking is great, bathrooms were clean, The mall had a small display of Mic Mac aboriginal culture in the main court. I enjoyed the wide-open halls for walking.
If you like shopping, this is a mall. It's large by Atlantic Canadian standards (largest east of Montreal). Not the same since they removed Woody the tree.
Great mall. Wide variety of stores and a very clean food court.
Of the two malls here, this one is the best. Food court could be a bit bigger considering size of mall. But overall nice
Very nice place, lots of shops.
One of Nova Scotia's biggest malls and probably my personal favourite. Large amount of stores with a variety of items available for purchase meaning you can find whatever you're looking for!
Tons of options for clothing. I really enjoy that the food court has people to sort and make sure food waste, garbage and recyclables are dealt with properly.
Big place. Lots of stores and brands. Good selection in food court
A useful mall conveniently located with lots of free parking and all the usual mall stores and coffee shops. Signage to the washrooms seems to be designed to give you the grand tour rather than send you straight there.
Forty years later and Mic Mac Mall is still the mall with the most east of Montreal. Recently remodeled and provides a variety of shopping offerings outside of just fashion. The former Zellers/Target is still empty but there's lots more under the roof. Ample parking.
When I go there it always seems like there is an escalator or an elevator out of service. Friday, Dec 20, the elevator was out of service the escalator in the main Atrium was out of service the escalator at the other end was out of service and the other one was shut off. There was one elevator working that would fit 2 strollers and it is very slow. It's a good thing there wasn't an emergency because anyone in a wheelchair or with strollers wouldn't be able to get off the top floor in a hurry.
This mall really has something for everyone with a variety of stores from clothing to tech to furniture. Plus a huge selection of foods from the food court on the 3rd floor with immense parking space. I highly recommend this mall to go shopping or just go hang out
Could have stores that aren't as costly. Weather today received a nice winter jacket for low cost impressed by winners When it comes to their hiring not impressed.
Another mall that is past it's days of greatness. Needs more Woody the Talking Christmas Tree all year around.
Good selection of shops and food establishments to choose from. All stores are clean, and there seems to be something for everyone!! One of our go-to spots for our shopping needs when in the Halifax area.
Good place for shopping. Definitely check out winners as you can always find good things there
I have been there few times. This mall is best in the city/province. The mall has significant number of known stores.
Always been a nice shopping center and now under renovation.
Good shops I love lidz and winners. Too bad stores are closing left and right atm.
Lots of different clothing stores and body works is my favorite store!
Had the Micmac Big Hungry.. Sooo good.
Always love the Mic-Mac.
Great mall.Fairly easy to find your way around.Somany store to stores to shop in
Nice place to shop and they are spending a bundle on renos....it looks fabulous. At Christmas it is a cozy place to shop if that doesn't sound silly.
Mic Mac mall is pretty nice. Has a good food court, nice shops and lots of parking just kinda crowded sometimes
Malls are a dying breed but this one is still kicking.
So many shops and a great choice of food in the eating area.
Love how well the renovations are coming along. Doesn't feel like the mall I remember but that's a good thing. Feels more expanded and cant wait to see what it'll look like when all done.
This mall has a lot of great retail in one place. Everything is easily accessible with multiple elevators and lots of escalators on all floors. The renovations they are currently under going are making things much for fluid and the food court has an amazing new look! And great variety of food establishments
Its a mall. Only a few places of actual value. The dental office up on the third floor and the banks, BMO & Scotia. The rest seem pointless to me.
Very clean mall, handling the social distancing protocols very well. Food court is awesome and a great variety of shops. Also be sure to check out chapters across the way.
Woody is back wooooo hooooooo
My first time shopping here at Urban plant store and I am really impressed by the service it was phenomenal ! Tim & Victoria are great awesome worker's and I will definitely be back soon! Thankyou guys....
Have everything you need and more a must have and a all in one place to get it all.
wouldnt really recommend i go there only for ardenes that probably it but there have been soooooo many times that i have boght things and when i get home it isnt in the bag but i was charged for it and everytime they always say "sorry cant help you" i try to resone with the place but the amont of times that that has happened the amont of money hat i have lost is around $50 and i want that back to and one time that it happened i was there like 30 mins before closing and they had the gate closed for no reason and i said u dont close for another 30 mins and the girl yelled "We ArE CloSeD"
Out of all malls I've gone to across nova Scotia funny enough this is my favorite. Parking is fairly easy, plenty of stores to roam, food court upstairs if you get hungry and an ice cream shop on the second floor if you have a sweet tooth. If you plan on shopping for Christmas or just feel like going out this is the place to go!
Nice place, clean and organize. You can find here best discounts and sale products from food to stuff like shoes and clothes. Parking space will be never a problem becaue they have huge parking space.
One stop shopping, try to avoid it around Christmas if possible but if you need to do some last minute shopping this is the place to go in Dartmouth!
Great mall with lots of store selection and variety. Large food court provides lots of choices for food.
Haven't been to MicMac Mall in ages!! What a big difference there has been..Wow's new look , and clean and fantastic new washroom in the lower level!!! Bonus :)
The mall itself closes at 9 but lot of the stores closes at 7 pm. Makes no sense. Tried to get food in food court but lot of them were closing up at 645, 15 minutes before closing. Why? So yes 1 star rating. The mall needs to figure out what the hours are and stay that way throughout.
I go to the mall offten it's been in my backyard sense I was a child !
Lots of good deals always in rotation here, just shop around a little and you'll find a few gems at great prices, like the real leather belt and shoes in the picture from Aldo for $70!
Clean and lovely! Great atmosphere
A lot of parking spot. Renovation still undone, one of the entries is accessed through constructional site. Large mall with many shops and brands
I have not been to many malls, but this tops my list so far. Better than the Halifax Shopping Center which is tailored to the higher income bracket.
There are many new shops opening, and most stores allow you straight in without having to cue. It's very clean and has been modernized.
Great shopping experience. Lots of different stores to choose from. The only anchor store is The Bay which has overpriced items that can be bought elsewhere for less. We lost Sellers and Target.
Only if they upgrade their food court I would give a better rating . Some stores there that you can’t find but there like the bay , forever 21 and no be west
Loved the opening of Charmed Aroma and Winners
Currently getting updated but the mall is great. Only downside is the bathrooms are smaller and same with the food court. News stores are going to be opening soon.
Has a good selection of stores and is clean, good mall. Only downside are the kiosks in front of la chateu. They go out of the way to get your attention and borderline harass you to get it. So avoid that area. The items they sell are, well, less than ideal.
Was a great shopping experience considering the current world situation.
A nice medium sized mall. The food court could use some work, I found it really small
This mall seems to be fizzling out. The escalators are almost always broken, and there is no unique attraction to the mall. Looks like the next Penhorn.
Construction is going on forever but is looking good. The new food court is great
Love going shopping whenever I’m in town. Lots to choose from
no halloween sprit this year
It's just a nice big mall with so much selection! I'm happy to be able to shop again despite having to wear masks and keeping our distance!
Micmac Mall use to be a good place to hangout at. Now there's a lot of high end stores. I only go there for two or three stores.
Nice big mall with good stores.
Micmac has always been one of my favorite malls & continues to be. Liking the new renovations.
Is an OK place to shop if you have a lot of money to spend. They open no matter what the weather and fine retailers who do not open. The food court was recently renovated but the restaurants still suffer from the same hygienic issues
An excellent mall in Halifax. It has almost every store a girl would dream of. You can shop for hours in here and never be disappointed, especially when they have a sale on. Christmas time is the best time to shop, the mall is nicely decorated and so are the stores. They have Old Navy, Gap, Ardene, Superstore, Engrave me store, a beauty salon, pretzels store, and much more!!
They have a beautiful setup for the kids to see santa. Looks so nice and they did an excellent job on it this year. I cant wait to bring my daughter this year. She is going to love it!!
Good Mall, under construction right now but still almost all shops are open and everyone very friendly!
It was good not to busy, little to no wait. Lots of parking. Something to be said about not waiting for things to come in the mail
I love this mall, it has everything I need in a mall except a grocery store!
Many stores to shop in cloths, electronics, things to eat.
Very clean and nice place to shop, lots of cool stores and friendly people, customers and employees both!
I went there to see woody as I was there years ago with my children. My daughter went there last week and asked me to go there and see woody and have my picture taken. Surprised her my doing that and sending to her I the valley. Which she thought was cute.
Love this place alot of great stores and good food court
Haven't been here for several months. Some new stores including Linen Chest. They were greeting customers and offering coffee
Alot of stores to choose from clothing gifts drug stores shoes specialty stores and if course the Food court has all been done over looks really nice
Busy spot..prepare to wait in lineups
Lots of stores to choose from
Such a lovely mall with great shops; big box and small, local stores. Excellent Covid protocol in place.
Good shopping area. Loads of parking. Food court is not the greatest, but OK.
Mic Mac has all my favorite shopping places in one spot.
If you like shopping this is the place to go...lots of variety of stores to shop. Also the food court is nice to eat
Visited this mall this past weekend. Alot of construction and repairs, with escalators out of service. Not very accessible for people with mobility issues. There are also alot of vacant stores.
Love that they brought woody back
Great place to spend time with someone just waling around looking..... You could spend hours here... Also.....smells wonderfull!!????
Loved it. It has everything you need to buy in one stop plus have a great meal.
Large space, multiple points to get up to next floor, wheel chair accessible. Moderate to high end shops, clean area, spacious food court. Lots of parking, bus terminal. Close to Dartmouth crossing.
ARTISANS HAIR ROOM WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Went on a girls trip was there over double the time I should have been. Asked for darkest brown the gave really light brown they had to re do it. Staff not trained good enough. Was given no discount for their mistakes. No towel around neck when at sink so we felt sore for a couple days. My friend was given high lights that didn't look any at all. Hair cuts were bad. The male couldn't speak English so couldn't understand how she wanted it cut. Doesnt even deserve the one star I gave! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE EVER!!!
It's a bit confusing right now; there is a lot of construction. But with patience, it is decent. Stores you come to expect in a mall.
Best place for store options. Clean but very busy at this time of year
Not alot changes here
Been a mall rat since I was a teen, love Mic Mac hopfully some new shops will start filling the empty spaces soon
This place is OK but it's quickly dying and everybody sees it except the owners of the place.. all the stores are leaving and if any of the employees from any of the stores that are actually left in the mall try to even make a little comment on their own personal Facebook about the mall and/or how other stores are closing or that it looks weird that there are so many empty spots, they get in trouble from the mall owners and "punished"
Malls are becoming a thing of the past. Shopping parks offer better selections of shops.
1st trip in 25 years. Found shops pricey and the mall seemed dated. If you know what you are looking for its worth a look.
A very great mall, winners and homesense makes this mall a great place to go since it is so big. What makes me so happy, this mall have 3 stairs and mechanic stairs was the first time, and they have lots of stores there. I would recommend this shopping mall.
Even with protocols not being followed. Staff are doing a great job
Love this mall they have so much selection to cover everyone's needs
Social distancing 5 or more in the store..wait in line. Food court take out only.
Pretty decent mall. Food court offers a wide variety of cuisine....or...ethnic choices....not sure which is more accurate, but wide variety. Generally speaking, even towards the potential end of this pandemic, COVID protocols are expected to be followed. No real complaints.
Pretty nice mix of shopping options although is starting to show it's age a little and could use some reinvestment to stay current. A shakeup in the usual stores would be nice as well.
It's a big mall with lots of shops it's not like it use to be it's changing ever day. I was out their a few weeks ago and they are making changes to the inside of the mall.lots of places to eat or just sit and enjoy a coffie with a friend or family ...Enjoy your visit to mix Mac mall everyone.
Great mall but sad to see some many empty lots
Mic Mac Mall is looking good. All the renovations being done has really made a difference.
Not enough tables if you wanna eat in the food court especially on a saturday the biggest mall in nova scotia cant open more tables even halifax shopping center has more tables open than mic mac and scotia square has more tables open. If i was in charge of the mall id be very disappointed and id open more tables normally id put 5 stars but being close to christmas and its a busy mall and no tables open to sit and eat
Well for me it's close proximity to home. And I do like the fact that it doesn't seem to be as crowded as some other shopping centers.
Weird tree ???? Little mall, maybe the best option for a shopping mall in the city. Nothing spectacular, but the place is clean and deals with what it has.
Mic mac is a has been mall. They refused to reinvent themselves and are now really struggling with store vacancy. There really is no reason to shop here. Dartmouth crossing and halifax shopping center are far more enjoyable experience.
Mic Mac Mall is a great place to shop. There are lots of stores and I love the food court. Only problem for me is there is too much walking.
I'm going to halifax in 2 days but I do love the Mic mac Mall it is awesome tots recommend
Easy to get around and find what you're looking for.
Has decent stores and great waste disposal system but is in major need of upgrades. It's competitor HFX Shopping Centre is so clean and beautiful.
Standard mall, standard amenities. Nothing special, but nothing bad. Parts under construction
A nice place to walk around with all the shops you'd need.
Best quality products and best prices.. Great deals for childrenware, kitchen appliances, beauty products, footware and many more.. Worth to visit.. Takes 2-3 hrs atleast
I saw Woody!!! He was talking with the kids it's nice to see the excitement on their faces that he was talking to them .Merry Christmas
I love micmac everything that should be in a mall is there cant wait to see what the renovations bring
Nice mall with different kind of stores and food court opitions
The store selection was amazing. Very clean & friendly
Half empty but there's actually still plenty to do and lots to buy. If you're in the city shopping, don't forget to go here, because the selection (although limited) is very different from the selection of the Halifax Shopping Centre
Popular mall in Dartmouth. Currently undergoing modernization (2018) which extends into 2019. Typical mall pricing.
I was told they would have what I wanted and they did.
Not too busy great stores!
The original Woody is better then the new one
This mall is in Dartmouth. If you're staying in Halifax you can use the Halifax ferry to cross over to the Dartmouth side and take a bus or if you're driving you can take the bridge over. This is not an extensive mall - limited stores - very small food court. Not much in variety.
This mall has basically everything you could need - including free double stroller/wagons which we always take advantage of.
Finally a mall with amazing facilities for nursing mothers! Can't believe how nice the nursing lounge is. Well done! Mall is good too..
Only if they have something for kids. There is nothing for kids in this mall
I like micmac it's where all the stores that Halifax shopping center do not have.
Really nice mall with just about every store you need and a great food court. Plenty of space, stores and great selection. Nice atmosphere and the bathrooms are all so clean. Good location too.
Not everything open -some places change rooms not open so hard to buy things if you need to try it on.
Mic mac mall is like an old friend, spent alot of time there as a child. Its always an adventure.... however, I DO miss Woody the talking Christmas tree.
Nice food court and good to have seating in the mall where you can sit and relax
My favorite mall. Not confusing, easy layout. Lots of shops. Food court could use some work, but it is what it is.
Seems that more stores are leaving this location. It really needs some new life. I am very pleased that LUSH is still there and Soft Moc.
My friends drove up from Yarmouth a d my friend was denied a wheelchair for her disability, talk should feel ashamed ! Would give 0 stars if I could !
As a tourist and solo-traveler, I pride myself upon the best of both heritage and urban travel. I saw the mall and although it is the typical shopping mall, it is unique in one way, from what I heard, they have a mascot named Woody who only appears in winter time. But on my visit, I saw three floors and even shopped at East Coast Lifestyle. Good way to kill time too!
Variety of stores ,great savings.
Mic Mac mall has undertaken some changes with the target moving out and no anchor store moving in yet. It definitely has a different feel to Halifax Shopping Centre, much more open and barren. It feels like there is not much personality in it especially with the update the other mall has recently had. They have a record store here, which is awesome, and some good variety of shops around. The food court is still on the third level away from everything else, as is the smoke shop.it is definitely not a "pop in" type of mall since it is so large and out of the way of everything. It could definitely use a renovation or remodel to bring it up to a better standard.
Lots of stores. Good variety, except some emply stores, no grocery store, and no sit-down restaurant. Parking spots VERY small, smallest in HRM.
This Mall has it all. Great place to shop and a great food court.
One of the two shopping malls in Halifax,Dartmouth region, attracts good crowd mostly of Dartmouth with fairly good stores to choose from.
Not a bad mall. Seems to be a lot more empty spots every time I visit but that is also the case for a lot of malls. Easier access than other malls in town. Lots of stores with choices for everyone.
Lots of stores and the restaurant's are good except the KFC never has chicken.
So many amazing stores in this mall. It is highly worth any trip!!! It will take you a few days to really look through the stores and take a proper shopping trip!!! Highly recommend it!!
It has a lot of stores and is a lot more easier to shop now..love the upgrades
It was confusing at first, because I hadn't been there for several months and the much needed facelift, but I did find the store I was looking for. The electronic kiosk, however, was a hassle to work with.
Large mall with a variety of stores. Got a lot of my Christmas shopping done in a short time because most of what I wanted to buy was there.
This mall has a good selection of upper end stores. Good parking and multiple entrances makes it easy too. And it has The Bay!
Why do people who work at the mall have to clean up after people who work there. It's terrible
In the middle of a big reno so a bit disorganized. But all the escalators are working now. Will be nice when its completed.
Services are starting to fade more due to the times. Malls seem to be slowing down these days. Sad truth to today's budget system.
Wish they would get rid of the garbage revolving door clothing shops, I feel like the mall isn't as popular as it once was.
One of the bigger malls in Atlantic Canada with three levels. Plenty of parking and a decent sized food court.
Well I didnt actually come to the mall for me...so it eant too bad
I love the Mic Mac Mall. My husband and I went there for the first time this fall. It's huge. We shopped and then ate at the food court. I had shwarma and it was delicious. I would definitely shop there again.
Best mall in Nova Scotia. They have all sorts of stores and the Dartmouth crossing is close with the big box stores.
Have not been in this mall for Months. It's bright & clean was not very busy. Woody is hanging out and the Santa picture area is nice.
Love the this mall it has everything you are looking for in one spot.
Social distancing measures are in place. I visited 3 stores and employees were wearing masks and trying to ensure social distancing in the stores.
Newly renovated and updated with a while pile of shops! One store I really like is Winners. They have so much! The selection here is amazing and it is your one stop gift location.
Great place to shop and one of two Malls left in HRM.
It is a very nice place to shop and the only thing needed are uniformed police to show a presence the last time I was there an individual did a smash and grab at a jewelry store I hope they caught him.
Nice mall. Lots of empty store fronts though
It's an ok. Mall. Lots of store are closing though. Halifax Shopping Center is way better.
There is quite a few shops opened. However people are going to have to adapt in how to shop. Only certain amount of people will be allowed into the stores. Most stores have a monitor. This way of shopping is going to take some adjustments on both sides.
Always love browsing around Mic Mac Mall. Whether you're a window shopper or a big spender, you'll enjoy your time at Mic Mac Mall.
To many food suppliers not enough product vendors. Also pricing too high.
Haven't been there in a while but going there soon, hopefully next week. Great place to shop.
The renovations do look lovely, but my issue is with the newly renovated washrooms. When you can get the automatic sinks to run, the water pressure is so weak you have to touch your hands to the back of the basin to get them wet. Not to mention that all of the water runs cold, when studies have shown that you need warm water to wash away bacteria. The rest of the mall is gorgeous, I cant wait to see what else is in store ????
Its a big mall, a chapters there also, lots of stores 3 levels, food ct, thumbs up
Places come and go what can you say really it's a mall shopping is ok. Best part is the food court and there's a bus stop
Lots of parking mall is clean lots of sanitizer
Nice mall..but parking spaces too small..can get your car doors banged up...not good
Too crowded. Not really into shopping in the city anymore. People can be very rude and pushy.
I've been going here for years and quite like it. Good variety of stores.
This mall is really starting to look and feel tired inside and out. It is desperately in need of being Brough up to date everywhere. The paint over the railings that are decades old isn't quite cutting it. I also find the Decorations at Christmas time not very good. I much prefer to go to Halifax Shopping Centre where everything is nicely renovated, parking garages, great selection of stores, etc. It would be great to see Mic Mac brought back to life.
Micmac mall is all shiny and new cosmetically ...however management has old outdated manners. The Nursing lounge is hidden out of view near the bathrooms. It is one room, for one mother at a time. I dare say I never saw the inside of it as it was locked and "occupatied". Please wait little crying baby while Mommy finds a seat in which to feed you. Shame on you Mic Mac Mall. This speaks volumes to their respect for women, mothers and babies. I wish I could say breastfeeding is social accepted enough for women to feed their babies anywhere. It however is not yet. Some women are strong enough to take the sideward glances and muttered comments of disapproval while they nourish they babies in public. Other mothers need a safe place. Mic Mac Mall you have failed to provide this safe space!
Good selection of stores, wish they were open earlier than 11am for us early birds.
My daughter and I took my autistic granddaughter to see Sensitive Santa with an appointment. He was the most beautiful man and was a fabulous looking Santa. I would like to thank Mic Mac Mall and Santa and his sweet elves for providing this service.
It was very quiet at the mall this rainy evening so l was able to enjoy shopping as the staff in the places l went to were not to busy to take the time to assist me.
Stores seemed to pricey for the most part! I understand that some people work on commission, but this tactic can be very insulting! Don't enjoy being pushed to spend!
A typical mall in Dartmouth region of HRM. However similar other malls in HRM options for consumers is very limited if one is looking quality products from multinational brands in Ready to wear and footwear. Most of the products are of Chinese or Bangladesh origin.
Went to Eastlink, and they were awesome.
Nice mall, and convenient for those who live out east and don't want to drive to Halifax. Store selections aren't quite as good as Halifax Shopping Centre unfortunately, but there's still plenty of good shopping to be done here.
Good place to shop. Can be too crowded at times. Plenty of parking.
Visited decathlon for return no issues happy to help and on our way.
Very nice variety of stores. I got stuck in Bath&BodyWorks. A wide variety of creams and lotaions.
Lovely Christmas decorations. Woody and south pole train is amazing
Love this mall but can something please be done about an accessible EXIT door. I regularly get chewed out by rude customers because I have to use the ENTRANCE door as an exit. Burns me when they are capable of opening a regular door or being kind and holding it open. One man actually hit the exit sign going coming in towards me tonight and made totally uncalled for beyond rude remark. I do use a mobility device. Hence the one star.
Over priced Thank you they should consider making us flyer for all the stores in the mall for sales
It's a mall... Not much more to say here
Always interesting spots to go into mostly clothes cellular booths and a nice little food court up top out of the way of the mall traffic
I love the Mic Mac Mall. My husband and I went there for the first time this fall. It's huge. We shopped and then ate at the food court. I had shwarma and it was delicious. I would definitely shop there again.
A nice mall to shop at they have just about everything you want there and everything is inside so you don't have to get wet or cold going from store to store
I love the Mic Mac Mall. My husband and I went there for the first time this fall. It's huge. We shopped and then ate at the food court. I had shwarma and it was delicious. I would definitely shop there again.
It's ok. My daughter loves having a "shopping day" here, which honestly is the only reason I come (Dartmouth Crossing is close and better). Lots of different stores (mostly clothing). It's dated for sure but still good. We always find something. The food court needs more variety and an update though
Lots of stores not open, which is no fault of the mall itself just didn't make for the best overall shopping experience. The mall did have lots of physical measures in place and security not only patrolling but directing people in the food court who may have been confused about direction.
Mic Mac Mall is a great place to shop! It has The Bay, which is one of the best places to shop for menswear.
Great place for shopping
Plenty of stores and eateries but found alot of stores prices were high. Still, lots to see and wish for.
I love the Mic Mac Mall. My husband and I went there for the first time this fall. It's huge. We shopped and then ate at the food court. I had shwarma and it was delicious. I would definitely shop there again.
OK mall. The parking is ample, but I find the selection of retailers to be lacking. Not that I expect it, but there are absolutely no healthy food options at the food court. For a basic shopping trip, it's fine.
My son and I went there today, but being Sunday, they were closed .
Still a nice Mall with a great assortment of stores. Unfortunately there are no carts here, and no benches out for folks to stop for a rest. Very hard to shop for those with disabilities. Maybe they could put them out with do it yourself disinfecting spray and paper towels or wipes?
Large variety of stores, beautiful mall, I’ve come back to shop here many times and have always enjoyed it.
Most of the breads on the shelves are damaged l see it as mice attacks. Unhealthy????.
It is a big mall. I'm not really a fan of malls but this one was ok.
Removations to the mall are making it look and feel so much better than the time era it was stuck in. I love the updated food court and the little extension where the old target was. Cant wait to see the place all done up and modernized when the renovations are completed.
This has become my favorite mall in Nova Scotia. There are a wide variety of shops that match many different budgets. I am always able to find what I am looking for, at a fair price. There is always parking available (albeit, sometimes a little too far away). There is also a great food court with something for everyone. The mall is accessible by public transit as well b
Great store selection, smaller food court. Plenty of natural light and a clear layout make shopping here a joy.
Now that everything is back to be open, it is once again 1 stop shopping. Cinnabon has reopened as well. Glad to see the old shops coming back.
I really wish they'd change their name to one more respectful to indigenous Canadian communities.
A lot of renovations going on. Seemed like half the bathrooms were closed or had something in them not working. Great selection of stores though.
Great mall with 3 levels. Lots of parking. Many stores.
If you need to go to a mall right now this is the one. The food court is bright and cheery and there is lots of room to get around. Some entrances are closed (atleast one at the bay for now) but they are well marked and obvious. Lots of arrows on the floor to show a guy where to stand or walk. The staff do a great job keeping the mall clean and tidy including the bathrooms and parking lot.???? Good job staff!
Always has been a great place to shop and renovations are now underway to modernize and improve.
Always clean. Can be crowded at times. Great variety of stores.
I have always enjoyed this mall; bright, clean, spacious. Unfortunately it seems they are pretty much exclusively focused on the big chains that are all just variations upon very similar corporate themes. This has led to more of a humdrum experience; there are only so many ways to dress up the same thing. It would be refreshing to see some (many) small unique vendors which would add some variety to the shopping experience. I get the impression that for all the stores in the mall, they are all owned by 5 or 6 companies, with very limited imaginations. A good mall if you want boilerplate corporate offerings, lots of parking, convenient location. Unique shopping experience - sorry, not here.
For such a size mall there's only one electric outlet for charging electric vehicles. Not only that, it seems to be used by the mall vehicles all the time. Would love to see mic Mac mall keep up with the times and add more outlets for charging vehicles!!
I was at the mic mac mall getting gift cards and stopped in the food court for supper. The food was on par and kudos to the lady who who look after the food trays. She was very pleasant and always with a smile.
Between Eddie Bauer $10 electronic coupon, my military discount and a sale, I got a really nice pair of XS summer outdoor activity pants for $46. I don't nkniw why they would make cream colored activity pants when they get dirty, and men get all the blues, rust and brown colors?
Mic Mac Mall has made it very difficult for anyone with mobility issues or disabilies. They have removed all seating and resting areas and unlike the Halifax Shopping centre and majoir grocery chains, they no longer provide courtesy wheelchairs. For anyone who finds it difficult or painful to stand or walk for any distance or period, it is an impossible place to shop or visit.
Consistent quality overall. Through my many years living in Dartmouth I have always shopped here for many things such as clothing and gifts. I find their facilities to be well managed and they have a good selection of stores. Their food court is kept clean and there is a good amount of places to go get a quick bite to eat. The parking lot is a good size overall and provides lots of room to park. I think that I will continue shopping here as long as I live here.
Need to focus on renovating one thing at a time because as it stands now, it's just a clown show the escalators are down. The bathrooms are down the food court floor is down and the old target area is down. Pick one thing then fix it quickly and move to the next
Pretty nice mall under construction at the moment but it's just making it look even better! Lots of stores at affordable prices!
Used to be the best mall to go to in HRM. Now I would recommend Dartmouth Crossing or Halifax Shopping Centre way before I would recommend mic mac mall. Much better store selection at DC and HSC.
Multiple entry points to both parking and the mall make this much less frustrating. The new simple interior design is nice
Great place to go if you want a ticket on your car in a mall parking lot or need to get a covid test after. edit: autocorrect word covid... But it was real vivid in my memory.
Pretty cool mall...great deals
Not a Mall I enjoy going too.... always difficult to find a parking spot. I avoid it if possible. As Dartmouth Crossing is just up the road with the same or better stores.
Starting to run out of good stores but not a bad mall
Large mall, lots of selection of clothes and a rotating group of variety stores. Unfortunately it seems to have been harmed by the pandemic with a few places closing down, but otherwise a nice place to shop.
I love the Mic Mac Mall. My husband and I went there for the first time this fall. It's huge. We shopped and then ate at the food court. I had shwarma and it was delicious. I would definitely shop there again.
A relatively large mall in Dartmouth. You may find variety shops there.
Wish their was a microwave or bottle warmer in the nursing lounge. But other then that great visit!
I realize we are in a new normal with this Covid but respect kindness and understanding still go along way! People with disabilities still have disabilities Covid or no Covid! I took my Nephews & Mom out to supper in your food court today at 4:30 we spent $45 on our meals we sat away from others and followed all Covid protocol! We had to sit at the booth as that is the only seat that was provided for my nephew who has trouble getting up & down out of chairs. ( the booths are more stable ). We just started to eat & we’re enjoying our meal & time together. Along comes a security guard who says we need to move we can’t sit there. We explained to him our situation and he said you can’t sit in the other chairs which we explain no the issues are getting up. We need the security of the booth. He said sorry you need to go! We would of only been there 10-15 min to finish our supper and then be on our way! We were no where near anyone else !! I know there’s rules but with a disability there should be an exception especially if your not gonna provide us with another place to be able to sit and eat! We got up all our food went to garbage as we had no place to eat it!! I am so upset and disappointed as our day has been completely ruined! I’ve called your guest services and was instructed to call Manager in am.. I now have family members upset as like I said for the 10-15 min it would of taken for us to eat & leave has now turned into trying to make everyone feel better & make sense of what just happened! Thank you Mic Mac Mall for ruining our day! I suggest you find a way to make your food court more accessible to people with disabilities and maybe have a little more compassion to those if you don’t!!
Love malls in the winter. Walk around being warm and have a variety of stores and food. Free parking. My son loves the escalators.
Wonderful mall!! Everything you need is here. Great layout, tons of parking & easy access to transit. Food court has so many different varieties of places to eat.
Nice place to shop wide open areas and always has up and coming stores
Lots of services and shops under one roof... constantly adding new stores and updating their look... good food court with lots of choice... can be hard to find a parking spot near the entrance
Under construction. Not as nice as the Halifax shopping center, but it has all the stores you'd expect of a mall. No dollar store!! Sephora, TD, Scotia bank, Cibc, The Source, Bell, Telus.
Very clean, spacious, beautiful, good stores, but poor signage. If you don't go often enough to know where all the shops are, it's hard to find them. There are directories, but they are electronic, there aren't enough of them and they aren't always working. Paper directories are available from Visitor Services, buy how would you know and how would you find it?
Once the upgrades are done it will be great. But they need to fill the empty stores and keep escalators running, they are always out of service
Best mall I have ever been to. 3 floors of AWESOME shopping. Food court has a good selection of foods. Would go again for sure.
Still the best shopping in the area. Lots of free parking and recent upgrades have begun to improve the slightly dated look. Best of all you can move between stores without being out in inclement weather.
Nice mall. Very clean and orderly
