What a great crew! A small flake of material caught in my eye. It got worse overnight. I called Insight Optometry and a very nice person (Kaitlin) sent me an email giving instructions as to how to take photos of my issue. I followed the instructions, sent an email with photos, and they scheduled an appointment with me right away. I'm grateful. Dr. Bonang was a pleasure to deal with and she removed the object at no charge! I cannot recommend Insight Optometry enough. I have dealt with them now for at least a decade. They are solid.

Im a flight attendant from Toronto and had an eye emergency at work so bad that i couldn't operate. I was referred to Insight by my shuttle driver who went out of his way to contact them for me while i was being driven from the airport to the hotel. I saw Dr Rachael Noah the next morning and now i can see fine! Im so thankful they could squeeze me in last minute like that. Now i can return to my flight attendant duties. So grateful for the kindness and customer service ♡

I had an excellent experience at the Insight Optometry. I had a severe red eye that had developed to be very painful overnight, I had requested for an appointment on Friday morning, I didn't expected to be seen on that day but the kind receptionist (I think its Janelle, sorry if I got the name wrong) had given me an appointment with Dr. Roach. My experience with Dr. Roach and her assistant Noah was absolutely amazing. They both were very friendly and listened patiently to my issue. Dr. Roach took some time and tested my eye, discussed with some more specialists at Eye Care Center QE-II and referred me to one of the doctors there because of the seriousness of my issue. I am writing this review on the Saturday evening with most of my eye's redness gone and I am feeling very better now. Thanks Dr. Roach for going above and beyond on a busy Friday afternoon and doing what's right for the patient. The world needs more people like you!

I went in for my very first eye exam. I went to Insight Optomery because it was close to home and had good reviews. The office was clean, organized and modern looking. The receptionist, optometric assistant and optician were nice, helpful and informative. My optometrist was Dr. Roach. I told her I was quite nervous but she told me not to worry its not like dentist haha. I felt calm and comfortable with her. She was outgoing, understanding, and guided me through the whole exam. Nobody pressure me to buy my frame and lense here. But I was so pleased by the professional service and quality of the glasses offered. I bought myself a new pair of metallic silver glasses.

From the receptionist, to the optometrist assistant, to the optometrist and optician, every single person was friendly and efficient. My whole appointment took about forty minutes, including the purchase of a years' worth of contact lenses (the price of which was ACTUALLY about the same as clearly.com). I wasn't at all pressured to purchase through them which was a relief! They have the latest equipment and clean, pleasant facilities. Highly recommend making this your optometrist of choice!!

I called Insight optometry as one of many calls to optometrists in Halifax to help me with an emergency, a very red and irritated eye. Dr Roach took interest and agreed to see me right away....during the Covid Pandemic. I was politely screened and very professionally accessed. Dr Roach started a very delicate procedure to remove rust ring and after 4 more appointments dismissed me as been successfully treated! I have now so much respect for the training and knowledge of well trained optometrists and their scope of practice. Thank you Dr Roach and staff. I felt well cared for by a very respectful team. I guess I know where I get my next pair of glasses.

I’ve been dealing with complex eye issues since the age of 4. After four surgeries this year, including a cataract surgery and lens replacement (at the age of 28), I was feeling a little defeated. The amazing Dr.Seamone recommended I attend this clinic to see Dr. Rachel Noah. Today I walked out with wicked new glasses that make me feel super confident. Best of all, I walked out of the building and realized everything I’d been missing. I have never had the fortune of seeing this well. As I got to see the boats on the water for the first time in a long time, I felt this review was necessary. This made my birthday so memorable. Never looked forward going to any kind of doctor. Insight Optometry changed that. Staff/Receptionists always greet with a friendly smile. Dr. Sankster, Dr. Roach & Erin Muise have been nothing short of incredible. I feel like I'm walking into my own home when visiting now. Not only can I see now with my Scleral lenses..But I've gained friends in the process. Life changing experience and I cant thank them enough for all of their hard work and patience (Putting the lenses on before leaving took a few extra hours/days) :)
