Mr. Reza and the staff were very helpful in guiding me through understanding the slow but progressive deterioration of my eyesight. As there is an inevitable family history to tend with, they exhibited extreme compassion and patience taking the time to show me frames from their large selection that were not only suitable, but a comforting transition from the style that over the past 20 years I had grown so accustomed to. The change was overwhelming and emotional for me and they made it a pleasant experience.

I had an infection in my eyes, and I needed to see a doctor. I've paid $100 for visit and the doctor wasn't friendly at all. When I asked him question trying to understand what's going on with my eyes it seemed like he gave me a big favour by answering them. Also, I'm not a native speaker and usually I don't use medical terminology so it was a bit challenging for me to understand his questions. He made no effort to clarify things and was even impatient. Will never come back again.

I work in the area and needed to get a new pair of glasses (which were long overdue) before changing company health provider. I had done an eye exam before and had the prescription handy. I shopped around at a few local stores but the prices always seemed a bit much. It was after 6:00pm on Friday evening and on a whim, I decided to give Hakim Optical as most stores were already closed and I have seen Hakim’s tv ads for years. Best decision ever. I was greeted by Reza who was highly skilled, competent and provided excellent assistance with my frame selections. He answered all my questions very well ( and I had a LOT). As a bonus, there was a sale and I got 2 pairs of glasses with my preferred options for around the same price or less that what was offered at other places. Thanks Reza!!! I’m looking forward to picking them up in a few days. I will definitely recommend all my friends to you.

I had business with this particular location three times first being in 2007, most recent -- 2014. To be honest, I'm not sure why I went back as they were not the most polite. I remember coming in for replacements and they were not particularly thrilled to have my frames replaced.

Beware of the extra price they try to get from you! Almost got tricked by the cashier for fixing one screw and changing the pads. Fortunately I asked the price on the phone before so when I pointed out he gave me the half price immediately after. Then said "ok it is 10 dollars for you". I do not respect that.

I wish I can rate 0 to this store but why I have to give them 1 star? We book an eye examination at 3:10pm and we are late for like 3 minutes- our fault yes. But the doctor is so impatient for his sweet home and left without hesitation. Don't expect them to offer good service.

Make and appointment to see the optometrist and arrived 15 minutes earlier because I like to be in time. I got to see the doctor at 1:35 pm, my appointment was at 1:00 pm and It took 10 minutes to check my eyes! I don’t understand why people don’t value others people time and waste it, very unprofessional! By the way, they’ll try to sell you frames while you are waiting and give discounts just to some people!

absolutly BAD. they promissed to make my son's glasses in 3 to 5 days but it took 8-9 days while we went there 4 times! they even did not apologize for this whle they knew my son cold not see with out his glass! my son experienced unpkeasant days because he could not watch TV or go biking and they knew my son's problem. i wish i could rate them 0 because they do not deserve enen 1 star.

Unbelievably irresponsible. This review does not apply to Hakim Optical. It's specifically about this store at Finch and Yonge. I dropped my glasses there and ask them to replace my broken frame under warranty. A few days later, they called me and told me "we broke your lenses. If you'd like to order new lenses, we give you 30% discount". Unbelievable. They broke my lenses and asked me money to replace what they broke. No apologies. No responsibility. No respect.

I have done eye exam there, the doctor is very good But I have bought 3 glasses for $650 there, I have received 2 glasses with cleaning papers, when I went to receive the third one and I asked for cleaning paper, they said 1 paper for each patient no matter how many glasses you bough :((((( How much does a cleaning paper cost for you, is it as expensive as bad reputation :(

Never ever going to this store, customer service is so bad, and the price is much higher than other store. I bought Joson and Joson contact lenses, their price is 650 dollars, another store is just 495 dollars. I want to return it, but the manager said: no exchange, no return!!!

Great and timely service. I walked in with no appointment was seen right away by dr. Dadvar. Very respectful and professional service. Eye exam was done in about 15 minutes or so. I went to this location to ask a quick question . On the door was written 9 am is open but the door was locked till 10 and i had stayed out 20 minutes After knocking the door a lady showed up and without say sorry or even apologize, unlocked the door with no smile on her face I won't go to this location anymore

Got my prescription there, got my glasses from LensCrafters, the prescription was wrong so I had to redo it all and in the end I threw the new and old prescription from this place away and went back to my older one. Waste of my money and time. I’ll happily pay LensCrafters twice as much and save myself all the trouble.

I liked the selection of glasses. Be aware that the 2 for 1 is not actually 2 for 1. They were proposing me 2 glasses for 570$ when only one pair was worth 350$. The price seems to vary depending on the employee. Did not seem honest to me so I will not go back.

Reza was so helpful, he has ensured that I will get my glasses in quicker than normal turnaround time because I am going on vacation and also got me into an appointment to see the optometrist on the same day that I telephoned to ensure we had time to get the glasses done for my trip. He was also so helpful and helped picked out many glasses that would suit me and gave me helpful feedback. All the staff are always very accommodating and helpful. This place is one of the best shops to buy your frames. They have a wide variety and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I've bought two frames here 10months ago and one of them dropped from my hand and bended. I took it there since they had a one-year warranty. They guy fixed it right away without even checking the warranty paper at no cost. I appreciate how they trust their customers.
