I've been having Dr. Vahidi as my optometrist for 8 years since I decided to have Lasik done to my eyes. Even though her clinic is very far away from my place, she's the best optometrist I've ever had. She's not only very knowledgeable and professional, but also very loving, caring and friendly. Her staff is very friendly and polite too! It has always been an enjoyable experience to go for my eye exam appointments all these years!!! ???? Dr. Vahidi ????

I used their services twice over the last 5 years although I have had problems adjusting to the glasses they made for me. This spring I was due for a new pair and was about to use them again, not wanting to use a big chain and really trying to support a local business. For the first time they mentioned to me that there were different brands of lenses and that only came up in the context of justifying their high price. I discovered that the lenses they provided were poor quality and most likely contributed to my discomfort with my previous glasses. I went to another local optical store just down the street and for the same price I got top of the line quality lenses with manufacturer documentation and warranty. I may have been ignorant and should have researched the options for lenses myself, but I believe that a business that wants to maintain its customer base should go the extra mile and educate their clients on what exactly are they paying for. One customer that is not coming back!

When I purchased my glasses from North Shore Optical, they took a lot of time with me to make sure that the style looked good on me and was what I wanted. They also gave me a deal. When I later came back with an old pair of prescription sunglass that I thought I might have to discard, they gave them a complete makeover, almost as good as new.

I bought my glasses over a year ago, then my wife and I have been back already for prescription diving masks as well. This store is awesome and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for service! 6 star service!!

Incredibly knowledgeable staff who are excited to find you a pair of glasses that look good on your face and meet your needs! Upselling happens only if you ask or mention something that you are annoyed by about your current glasses. Seriously lovely people and the store is not crowded feeling, well lit, and the glasses are clean and ready to be tried on. I don't live in North Van but happy to make the trek (and a second as they do not have my lens prescription in stock).

I have been getting glasses there since I was in elementary school at least a 1/2 dozen pairs. There are so many different styles to choose from. They have excellent customer service and shop personality. They even ordered me in a specific pair when I wanted a more vintage inspired look and the blue screen protection lenses they put in have really been a life saver on my eyes in university! I really can't say enough good things about this place. I would highly recommend to anyone, you really can't beat this Mom and Pop shop!

Outstanding customer service on every visit. Fixed my husband's glasses (purchased there two years ago) on the spot today. Without them he really cannot see and he was very worried when they broke. It was not an easy repair but they took care of it quickly and also replaced some nose pads/shone everything up to look as good as new. They have a great selection of products and provide excellent advice on which frames suit you. Would not go anywhere else for our glasses and sunglasses!

I am in awe of their customer service, especially now during hard times. Came in to replace a nose pad and was told to return in 10 minutes. I was ready to pay since they were my favourite pair of glasses but when it was time to pick up my glasses and pay the lady told me I didn't need to pay! I realized once I got back to my car that not only did they fix the one nose pad but changed the 2nd one and tightened them as well! Some very lovely owners, will definitely come back!
