I'm from Toronto and am currently visiting Vancouver on tour. While out hiking with my husband I somehow managed to break my frames (long story for another time lol) Long story short, I found this Hakim on Google and it had excellent reviews so I came in on an emergency basis. The staff was super friendly and super helpful!! We were able to find frames within 10 minutes that fit my current lenses and they quickly transferred them over. I'm so happy with thier service and I highly recommend these fine folks at THIS Hakim location :)

Great customer service! I went to their store to order contact lenses and not only did my contacts arrive earlier, they also gave me an extra pair to try on. They then gave me a free small contact solution as well. I will definitely go back!

With three vacation days left, my wife and I ran out of contact lens solution. On the way to Lynn Valley, we saw Hakim Optical and stopped because we thought they might have some. Unfortunately, the 3-month packs they offered were too heavy for us to take home on the plane. Still, we didn't have to leave empty-handed. The lady at the counter was very friendly and gave us a sample -- probably enough for a week -- for free. We really appreciate this kind gesture!

DRUNK STORE MANAGER! Not so good. Been there twice and not coming back EVER again. Faranak is very nerves and I don't think she knows what she is doing. I think no licence perhaps or fake! I do not advice you go there.

Had a very pleasant experience here, manager was super accommodating and was greatly knowledgeable about the products. Another noticeable aspect was her professionalism towards other employees which you don't come by in managers nowadays it seems. Definently reccomend coming here for eyewear necessities.

One of the ladies there was very rude pushing us to choose faster although it was one hour to their closing time. Asked me not to bring my children next time! My son goes to high school and my daughter is 18 years old who actually helped me choose the frame. So we left there without buying any glasses. It might be just this lady, however, I won’t go there any more for such a bad experience I had.

terrible customer service, in another word they are not familiar with it at all. They made a lot of mistakes for a simple purchase and barely apologized. The manager, Victor, very unprofessional and rude left me no choice but leaving the store and making the final purchase at another store. I would NOT use this merchant again neither recommend it to anyone, Save both your time and your money for somewhere that customers are respected.

Have had to go back 3 times for repairs. The staff are rude, not knowledgeable and really don't seem to give a damn. Seem to care more about looking pretty than helping customers. Update!!! One of the arms on my glasses broke... the bimbos said it would be $100 to replace/repair. Went into Wallmart optical and they replaced both arms FREE
