The guy who helped find a tube was about as smart as my sock

Leticia Calderon

The guy at the counter was really nice and patient with my 100 questions. Thank you!! I got what I was looking for.

Trevor Richardson

Levi was great. Great manager, who truly understands customer service and how good customer service will bring in repeat customers. I’ll be shopping here again soon.

Jennifer Berdahl

Heard this place was good, but when we went we were ignored for 20 minutes or so until we gave up and went to Westcoast Sports across the street, where we got amazing service and good deals.

Sky Agent

Ok. The team here is helpful, knowledgeable and look for what is best for you. Selection of bikes is amazing with fair prices. Parking can be tough, BUT if drive to the back alley, there is 1 hr free parking underground. Will be back for the ski season!

Michael Prince

Awesome place to grab bike stuff! Good deals, helpful staff, huge selection of stuff. Pretty stoked that they just opened up this new location in kits

Benoit LIEGEY

Horrible customer service! First time I paid to have my skis mounted. It was supposed to be done in 2 days, and after a week I called back and they just forgot to do it. When I came the staff was not friendly at all, and I had to wait without knowing what was going on. The second time I paid to have my ski skins cut. It was again supposed to be done in the next day. 2 days later I call them back, they have not done anything. 3 days later they call me to say it is ready. And then when I come to the store, I realize it is not ready!! Next time I will try to find a smaller store with better customer service (shouldn’t be very difficult to find)

Pascal Morschbach

Staff is always friendly and super helpful. Brought in my bike which I bought 3 years ago as the valve from my tire burst and they fixed it immediately at no cost.

Jeff Xia (Jeffrey)

The service here are amazing ????

Sara

Some of the staff were super friendly and helpful in educating you on the differences between the gear options. Others just wanted to make off the cuff comments that did not educate/inform the customer and had an attitude which made the customer not want to return. For example, saying a product will match the color of your skis, seriously? This provides zero information on why you should buy that product. Perhaps try mentioning some material properties, performance characteristics, etc. That said, this was only a few of the employees; the rest were great!

I don't own a car, so my bicycle is an essential means of transportation. I recently bought two bikes from Comor. They have been very accommodating and have done maintenance quickly. The staff is extremely competent and it's clear they care about the work they do. I also found they had a large inventory of bikes and accessories. I have other bikes and I've dealt with several other shops in the city. Don't get me wrong, there are other very good stores (e.g. Reckless). But Conor is among the better ones.

Claire Johnson

The staff measured me and were so attentive in helping me pick a new saddle. Thanks a lot!

Songee Lee

Always check your receipt to make sure it says exactly what you bought. They are not gonna give you a price matching because the receipt says i bought a different color of boots which is not true!

Levi Verlaan

Comor is awesome!! I went to Comor to buy my first ski touring setup. The store was very busy but after a short wait I was provided undivided attention until I had everything that I needed. Very knowledgeable and great recommendations. They helped me find the right equipment and had very fair prices. Binding adjustments were done quickly.

Bought a pair of ski boots at Comor last week. Dallas (Ski specialist) was unbelievably knowledgeable and helpful. Helped us pick out the perfect pair of ski boots and got us an excellent price. He even offered for us to bring our skis in and have the bindings adjusted for free. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended.

Connor McCardle

Excellent service, great product selection, knowledgeable staff. They helped me with a surprise birthday gift of new skis for my girlfriend. We had all the necessary measurements and everything to get the task done but they really helped in narrowing down the selection based on her skill level and type of skiing she will be doing. They were able to get the bindings mounted on a rush request before we took off to Whistler so I could gift them to her. Great team.

I was excited to finally be able to support this store and purchase something. Unfortunate that I had to find out about the awful online customer service. This is not a testament to this specific store, but their online support is useless. Won't be shopping here again :(

Henry Phan

Exactly what we needed after day of skiing. Ordered the Margarita pizza which did not disappoint!

(Translated) It is a space that I did not really want to be because of the unkindness of the staff. When asked about things, the answer was not even coming back, and it was where racial discrimination was felt. Waiting to ask questions and talking to the staff tells other Canadians to speak and Asians avoid! It was a really bad place.

Walking into this store I knew exactly what I was there for. I spent maybe 10 minutes in the store. Great place, quality goods, and friendly enough staff. Only thing I would have to say is the vibe needs some positive saturation. Fill the room with that and I'll be sure to always get my hard goods from you.

Andrea Gee

Thank you so much, John for taking my bike in right away and for fixing it so quickly! And just overall for being a being a kind and wonderful person!! I will definitely be back if I have another bike needs!

Super disorganized staff, took bike overnight for a simple repair, didn't sell me the right sized tires, took 3 staff members over an hour of faffing about to eventually get a refund and change a tube.

'Just popped in with a broken shifter cable ... Trevor took the bike, in spite of it being moments before closing, and had it ready for me early the next morning, in time for my commute. Excellent service!

Tyler Hawkins

Best shop. Above and beyond service. I dont rate things on the internet but shop deserves the praise. Theyve helped me with challenging boot issues and today found and mounted a binding I couldnt find anywhere else. Big thanks.

Cassandra Tracy

The new store has a greater selection. I’m always able to find exactly what I need! I wish I needed more stuff so I could go there more often. Their helmets are my fave!

Amanda Manke

I have bought a variety of sports equipment from Comor Sports over the years and each time I have had an excellent experience. They have taken the time to explain the products, help with selection and get products that suit myself and my family. Would recommend this store. The Manager Brian is amazing!

Carolinx “pippiline” Klue

great place to buy skis

Matthew Wiebe

Great, friendly staff. Bought Burton snowboard boots here, and they were very helpful with sizing and finding the perfect boot. Always bringing in the best clearance deals!

Monika Kozlerová

Went to get my snowboard boots for the season and got the best service in years!!! The guy who helped me out (I'm guessing store manager) was super knowledgeable, helpful and it was obvious that he is not just trying to sell, but he actually cares about the right fit for you. I will be recommending this store to anyone in my province (Yukon) who is looking for amazing service and helpful advice on gear!

Taylor Kandler

I was looking to buy new skis and I had a friend recommend Comor to me. Unfortunately I didn’t have a great experience. The staff who helped fit me for boots, skis and bindings was quite rude and abrupt. He treated me as if I was stupid. He kept asking sarcastic and patronizing questions. Despite spending nearly $3000 here, the staff was all rude, not welcoming and unappreciative of business. I will take my purchase elsewhere next time and certainly not recommend to friends.

I've been looking for a pair of ski boots for the past month and have visited several ski shops during that time. I can say that the reps at this store truly know what they're doing. One of these reps, Zander, fitted me a pair of boots that's nearly perfect. He was respectful, listened to my concerns, answered my questions, and was overall very knowledgeable.

JDM RICER KING

Purchased some winter sporting goods, left them instore for mounting and fitting. Few weeks later they said they don't have them anymore, manager refuses to issue refund and store credit.

Matt Arthur

They took the time to run around a few of their nearby stores looking for gear for me. They were very knowledgable and helpful. They asked if I'd like my board setup and when I mentioned Im practising switching this season gave me some advice and set my bindings accordingly, explaining what they were doing as they went. Later I embarrassingly emailed to ask about my board being waxed where they immediately responded subtly explaining it came waxed (doh). All in all an experience that would definitely make this my go to store.

Jesse Chao

I was here shopping for a snowboard. There were two dudes chatting by the boards and I couldn’t tell if they were staff or customers, so I asked them if they worked there. One said “NO” and the other said “YEAH” rather rudely. Then I asked him for the price of a particular board, he just snobbed at me and said “they are all 10% off”. I wanted some clarification, but he just turned back to his buddy and continued chatting. Maybe I didn’t look like I have money to spend. Perhaps he didn’t think I was serious. Or, maybe they were mad at me for interrupting their serious bro time. Whatever the case, I’m sorry Comor. I’ll dress like a million bucks, pull up in my BMW and bring an entourage next time.

A nice restaurant with a good nigiri sushi menu. I recommend to reserve a table previously because most of the nights from Thursday to Sunday is crowded. Freshly food :)

Via online order and e-mail they sold me two pairs of skis at prices that were actually unbeatable. The experience was fantastic and the goods came as promised, in time for X-mas. Recently I had a warranty issue with one of the skis and they helped me quickly sort it out with the manufacturer. End result, I have a new pair of replacement skis on the way and will be skiing again as soon as Canada Post drops them off. Thanks to Comor Sports, I recommend you give their website a good look through as their prices and service are both fantastic.

Ray Gee

Helpful staff. Smaller set of inventory compared to the main store across the Street.

Kate Way

I totally felt looked after. The staff in Kits were expecting me when I arrived and ever so friendly. They built 2 sized bikes just to make sure the fit was perfect and even made minor adjustments right there and then for me. They recommended lockers for my wheels and not once did we feel pressured to buy more. The staff are pretty chill and I'll for sure go back in the winter.when ski season comes.

Attentive and friendly staff that ensure we are looked after. Shout-out to Brian, Store Manager, who worked with us to resolve an issue from another store by following up and adding a personal touch everytime we enter. Good service isn't limited to Brian, we thoroughly enjoyed everyone we interacted with from the phone to in-store. Staff help make informed decisions and if the person you're talking to doesn't know the answer, they go out of their way to find someone that does. Prices are fair and commensurate with surround stores. Sales, when they occur, are usually pretty competitive. Abundant selection and the ability to ping their partner store nextdoor , Pacific Boarder, is helpful. Beyond that, Brian and team have been prompt in bringing stuff in for us on a few occasions now. In short, I don't bother going anywhere else. Check them out.

Chris is most helpful, spent some quality time helping me to find the right ski boots (i have wide feet so not easy to shop for), heat moulding it and stuff. Super nice and knowledgable too! And I got the boots 40% which is a nice bonus! Definitely coming back to shop more in the future. The Comor clearance cross the street has some good deals but size selection is very limited.

This review is for Comor’s ski boot sales and fitting service, with which I had a terrible experience. In February of 2015, I walked into Comor’s Vancouver store to buy new ski boots. I was fitted into a pair of 26.5 Lange RX-100 boots that felt way too narrow. The boot fitter –guy in a knit cap with a know-it-all air– kept saying that the boots were the correct size for me, that they should fit tightly, and that they could make adjustments later. So far so good. After skiing for five days on the boots, I had serious instep and toe pain. I went back to the store, where Mr. Knit Cap “punched out” the toes. He also blamed the instep pain on my skiing style – apparently I was not leaning forward enough. Three days of skiing later, paying close attention to proper technique and posture, my toenails began to turn black and fall off, with the instep pain persisting. I went back to the store, where I was helped by a different fitter. He “punched out” the toes again. The season was over, so I waited until there was snow on the mountains again. At the beginning of the 2016 season, it was clear that I was getting nowhere in these boots. I took them back to the store, where Mr. Knit Cap was once again running the boot-fitting show. He once again blamed my problems on poor technique, said the second toe punch-out (performed by one of his coworkers) was all wrong, said he would exchange the boots for a larger size, but that the store was done with me. Since the new boots were the “wrong size” for me, they would not fit them, would not work on them, would not take them back or exchange them, and would not warranty them. I decided to cut my losses – I took the new boots, craigslisted them, and chalked the financial loss up to a bad retail experience. The next week, I visited one of the pro-shops at Whistler. The experience was night and day. These guys took the time to figure out the correct type of boot for my foot. They listened to my issues with the Lange boots, and refit me into a pair of Tecnica. They were the exact same size of the original pair Comor sold me - so size was not the problem, but fit definitely was. With a couple of minor adjustments, they Tecnica boots fit my foot like a glove - tight as a cast on the cuff and heel, with plenty of instep and toe room. I’ve never been so comfortable in ski boots, and have never had so much control. To top things off, the price was the same as the original Lange. Bottom line – the Comor boot fitters are full of hot air. They try to help three customers at the same time, and blame every problem you have with the boots on your skiing technique. The one redeeming grace of this place is that, to an extent, they stand behind what hey sell, and will exchange boots that do not work for you if you give them enough grief about it (and this is why I give them two stars rather than one). However, if your goal is to get boots that actually fit you and not waste a season in pain, go somewhere else. There are shops out there that, for the exact same price, will take the time to work with you and LISTEN TO WHAT YOU ARE TELLING THEM rather than blaming your problems on your skiing technique. TL;DR: They fit me into the wrong boots. When they didn't work, they blamed it on my technique. Go somewhere else.

I am probably THE nightmare customer. It's my first snowboard season... totally clueless about terminology etc. and probably too concerned with aesthetics/ Me and my husband have popped in here (and the other snow shops on the street) a few times over the last few weeks. Comor by far has most helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff of the bunch.

Corey Sanford

Came in Friday morning to inquire about a ski touring setup for the coming winter, and spent nearly an hour with Luke, who answered every question I had, and then some. Took me through boots, bindings, skis, probes, and beacons. Really really helpful. I'm endeared to him and the shop, I'll definitely be back to pick up some gear!

Felix Mann

Great staff and selection. The staff didn't pressure me at all into buying the skis, and when I asked if they'd be on sale they even told me about the October Thanksgiving sale where the skis I was looking to buy would probably be 40-50% off. Ended up buying the skis on the spot anyway. Bought the skis on Sunday and picked them up with the bindings attached on Wednesday. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because they overcharged me at the counter, giving me 15% off the skis instead of the shown 20ish %. Lucky I checked!

Jonathan Wong

I got some help with a Marker Tech Toe warranty from Comor on West 4th and Brian, the manager, and his staff were incredibly helpful, the warranty was handled very fast, and everything was turned around, including contact from the vendor, with a ready to ski rig in a week. Amazing service and Comor are definitely my go to for a mountain bike, backcountry and alpine ski shop in the Vancouver area.

This is a difficult review to write, because our experience was so strange...super weird. I went to Comor with a friend who is a level 2 ski instructor to purchase skis and boots as a gift for my teenager (so, not a cheap or small purchase). We'd already looked at the sale and had chosen Atomic boots, a repeat of what my teenager already wears. For skis we wanted to see what they had and get some info. We'd measured my son carefully, knew his mondo size, height, weight, and ability, but wanted the gift to be a surprise. I'd also already checked the return policy -- 30 days if returned in original condition and packaging. First we asked one employee for help, but he said "I don't know anything about boots." We asked him a few more questions, including could he point out the boot experts on the floor, but he kept shrugging so finally I asked "What is your area of expertise in this store?" And he said "Goggles"'. We found two more Comor employees and they both said "We won't sell you boots without the wearer present." I explained it was a Christmas gift, and I asked, don't you have a return policy? "Yes, 30 days, plus a few more after Xmas". So I told them, look, he's wearing these Atomic Hawks, we just want a bigger size because he's growing. They smirked at each other and said, "It'll be easier if you just bring him in."' (I guess easier for them??) So my ski instructor friend and I walked away and started looking thru the boots by ourselves. After a few minutes a fourth employee came up and asked if we needed help. We told her what we wanted and our experience so far. Well, she was awesome. Her name is Jocelyn, and she sold me Rossignol skis and the Atomic boots. So, Jocelyn gets 5 stars, but the store gets 2. Comor, up your game and hire more Jocelyns!! You can definitely afford to lose the other three employees...they almost cost you a sale. I have never yet met a customer who likes being shrugged at or discouraged from buying a planned-for Christmas gift. Smirking not so awesome either. I wanted to tell the employees who wouldn't even get off their butts to show us stuff "we were heli skiing before you were born" but honestly, smirking millennials...just not worth it. Meanwhile big kudos to the one millennial who bothered to help us! And guess what? The boots and skis fit perfectly. We had the info we needed, but only 1 out of 4 employees of Comor sports managed to figure that out.

Edmond Keung

Comor Sports staff were very helpful, bought my snowboard boots during their Black Friday Cyber Monday sales week.

Amazing service. The store manager Brian helped my size and purchase a pair of ski boots and was there for after sales support and service no matter how small the problem. I would definitely shop there again!

Eventhough the line up time was long, but it was well worth it. Really appreciate Comor Sports and their staff taking the time required to make sure their clients are shopping at a safe environment under our current COVID situation. Also customer means even staff can attend to customer better, the customer service experience was really great.

Came in looking to get some items for this season and no one wanted to help me. Of the 4 idle reps sitting and standing behind the counter, not one would help or even make eye contact as I tried to get their attention. I ended up trying on stuff until I gave up and left.

Mel Webb

My ski boots were causing serious pain in my feet and pinching despite having skiied in them a number of times. I went in for a boot fit and Finn took excellent care of me. He was super knowledgeable and went above and beyond to get me into the right boots. If you’re looking for someone to get you into the right boots, visit Finn at Comor Kitsilano — absolute legend!

Chen Charlesvan

This lady answered the phone needs more patience. Our team needs about 40 Burton snowboards. I ask for the price or any discount. She just tell me to check the website. And she is no time to talk with me. I think 40 snowboards is a big order, I can have a better customer service. Nope, she didn’t care.

Yuval Burton

Beware if you are in search of ski boots: Comor will assure you that they have many talented boot fitters, but that is simply not the case. I spent almost an hour working with someone (who shall not be named) only to find out they don't ski... and the next time I came in, no one could help me even though I called-in ahead of time and was told there were "plenty of talented boot fitters" available. On the plus side, there are a couple people at this location who know what they're talking about (namely Dallas), so go at your own risk.

John Chan

Excellent Service!!! My order had some issues with it, but they did a quick review and was able to resolve it the same day. Highly recommend Comor!

They don't carry BMX bikes But they have helped me with mine a couple times now without acting annoyed so compared to the other 2-3 shops I've been to they are giving it 110% and probably deserve 2x5 star reviews When I buy anything bike related I'll find an excuse to go here

Just got my bike tuned and the cables replaced, which I'd damaged crashing my bike. The staff had it fixed in a day & it's shifting smoother than it ever has. They also replaced my brake pads & it cost me less than my seasonal tune up there. Best price for tune ups I've found in the Kits area. Would highly recommend for bike needs.

AWESOME service. I was curious about the 3BT shape of Bataleon boards and expressed my interested in seeing what the hype was about. The sales associate immediately offered me the store demo to ride for the day in exchange for my ID. He also did a fantastic job of explaining the board shape and his personal experience with it. I have bought 2 bicycles from The Vancouver store and I really love their sales and customer service. My first bike ran into problem a few days after the purchase and it was taken care of right away. The guy in the bike department likes to talk down on your bike if it’s older. Apparently am not the only one that’s had this experience. Went somewhere else where I didn’t get any attitude.

Ainsleigh M

Not impressed at all with how I️ was treated while seeking help with my current boots. As a previous employee of two major sporting goods stores and over 10 years as an ex-racer, I’m well versed in all things ski. But the guy helping me was super impatient and rude, I️ was relating the issues I️ was having with my left ankle inside my boot (and generally know I️ pronate but that the insoles I️ currently had in them, did not combat this issue). Instead of spending $600-700 on new boots, I️ wanted to simply correct what wrong with them. There were two other customers waiting who I’m assuming were wanting new boots, he spent maybe 25 seconds with me and visibly wanted to move on to the next customer. I️ tried to finish my sentence and was mocked with him saying “and what”... this is probably the most unprofessional, rude and ignorant staff member I’ve dealt with at any ski shop. I️ was prepared to possibly purchase new boots and some expensive skis but I️ will spend my money at a place that doesn’t treat potential customers this way.

Reg Eddy

The tech Levi was exceptionally helpful!

I bought a full ski set up last year on boxing day. Unfortunately the ski boots didn't fit well which I thought would pack out and eventually work just fine. They didn't and I had nearly given up on trying to continue with the boots. This past Christmas I was informed of their boot fit guarantee. I returned yesterday with the old boots (used only 5 or 6 times) and told them my issues. After trying to work with the current pair to see if they would work they ended up doing an exchange for a pair which fit better. If only for this reason alone I wouldn't considering purchasing from elsewhere.

Matt Deeter

I upgraded my ski boots this year and found the service, knowledge, and candor of the comor staff quite helpful in the process of having boots custom fit, for the first time. Chris helped me with my initial selection, and Colin continued the process when punching the shell became necessary. Chris informed me of their fantastic boot fit policy aswell that allows me to have the boot molded, taken out on the hill, and worst case we can move to a different fitting boot if needed. Thanks guys for your help!

Christopher Garand

Phil at Comor on 4th provided absolutely amazing service to me today. I purchased a board at Comor in Whistler a couple months back. However, I forgot to grab the inserts to mount my bindings. Considering I rode my old board early season and then went on a lengthy vacation, I didn't realize I didn't have the inserts until this morning when I tried to mount the bindings to go riding tomorrow. Anyway, I came in describing my predicament and Phil provided me an extra set of inserts he had in stock. He even mounted the bindings for me! With such great service I will definitely continue to buy my gear from Comor!

Justin Marek

Bad experience. Visited on a slow night. Waited outside at the front of the line for 15 minutes while we watched 10 people leave. When we finally got let in we waited another 20 minutes while an employee helped somebody else. Then, when they were finished, they left the department to help the people who were behind us in line. We waited for another 10 minutes and nobody came to help us. Ended up leaving without buying anything and we will never go back. Don’t waste your time.

Millie Burrell-Davis

Came into CoMor on 4th this afternoon to query about a broken bike part/to see if they could order one in for us. The guy behind the counter was very rude and offered no solutions. Won't be coming back here again. Poor customer service.

Great service!

Clarence Chiu

Services received: lots of time on boot fitting, boots, binding recommendations, bindings. Other bonuses: a variety of languages are spoken by staff Staff knowledge: 4.3 / 5 Above average knowledge for > 95% of circumstances. Only thing I could not find were products/expertise on pre-molded footbeds that you can use shims on to fix canting. Staff professionalism: 4.8 / 5 I find they tend to go out of their way to alleviate concerns you might have. Prices: 4.6 / 5. I went during peak season so hard to say if they give good deals as ski shops don't give deals during that time in general. To their credit, they do price match, which I took advantage of painlessly.

What a terrible experience trying to purchase a bike from Comor Sports. I understand finding a bike is hard these days and believe me I've been calling all over Vancouver including Comor frequently. Last night, I finally found the exact bike in my size in stock so I ordered it. The payment went through and today morning it showed fulfilled/printed. Because I know inventory is super low, I even double checked and called. As soon as store opened my order is cancelled. I call customer support to learn what happened and all I get is "sorry these things happen all the time and even though you successfully ordered and paid for the bike, someone must have come in the store and bought it on the spot". Like I said, I get inventory management is not easy right now but if my payment has gone through I should be able to receive allocation on that bike rather than someone else who shows up and just buys the bike even though the bike is sold. Terrible experience.

I took my skis in to be waxed and repaired right when Covid started. I cut them a bit of slack for not getting it done at the time, obviously a tough situation for any business. However, I called multiple times over the summer to get an update and I got the same answer. It wasn’t ready. I got a call two week’s ago that they were ready. Fine, no issue. My wife went in to grab them for me because the only time I can go is on weekends and that line is insane... when she went to pay the clerk said “next time you leave your skis here for 9 months, we’ll just throw them out”. What!!!? I called you repeatedly to ask an update. Just a rude way to address a customer.

The store does not respect people's right to decide whether to wear a face "cover" or not. There is no requirement from BC Hlth Authorities to wear it in indoor public place. The local government leaves this right to people. However, the store decides the people, visiting the store, should not have their right to decide. I wonder what were the reasons and justification for this restriction. Does the store have their own higher quality scientists and the better data, which is not available to BC Hlth, so that the decision can be made? I visited the store without a covering and was politely asked to leave the store. After that, I tried to access the store's Safety plan on their website to see whether the requirement does not exist on a paper. But the link in the phrase: "SEE OUR FULL ... UPDATES AND PROTOCOLS HERE." is broken. Is this on purpose? I hope that the website link will be fixed. Finally, ended up buying a bike in different store which respects people rights. I respect my freedom of choice. And you decide yourself.

Great experience! Friendly and helpful service from all team members.

Subpar service at best. After a lengthy wait outdoors, we waited for almost 40 min inside for someone to help us with skis only to be eventually asked why we were there and told there wasn’t enough time to help us before closing. If you won’t have time to help customers, don’t ask them to wait outside and then let them in only to turn them away. The only reason I have to add another star here is for the gentleman at the door helping to direct people, he was extremely friendly and genuinely kind.

Ordered a last season board on sale, Comor sent me the wrong size (either somebody can't read or they never had the size i wanted and just tried their luck to see if i would take the wrong size) ended up taking it back but because my board was a last season on sale i could no longer get what i wanted as it was sold out, so i ended up being over $150 out of pocket to get a new board as well as missing the best half of the day (which if you know whistler prices is stupidly expensive) because of their mistake. I wouldn't order online from these crooks.

Worst shopping experience ever! Waited in line for 1 hour for no apparent reason. By the time we were at the front of the line, there were no customers left inside. Once we got in, staff was incredibly rude and standoffish. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Attempted to purchase a Specialized road bike but I'm glad that I didn't. I paid for the bike and was convince that it would arrive by the end of the week. No response from shop until I contacted them 3 weeks later. Brought new fender and handlebar stem for them to install. They put a large chip on the topped tube, scratched up my fenders and lost the fasteners for my stem. Bring your bike into this shop if you like your bike to be butchered or if you want extremely poor customer service.

Excellent overall experience buying ski boots and getting fitted. I had help from the manager, Brian, who was very knowledgeable and ensured I had the right boot and the fit before I made my final decision. I would highly recommend this shop to any skiers or snowboarders!

Doing their best to be open. It's working

Good deals, but limited size selections.

There is always a long line to get in, but once you are in the service is always good. I recently bought my snowboard boots from there and the staff were very helpful when I wanted to try on every boot that they had. I also had to go back in the get them heat fitted and staff were also very helpful then.

I was really excited to buy my first brand new bike from Comor! I placed an order for a bike not yet assembled but the staff could not locate the bike. I left my contact info with a promise for a call the next day. Unfortunately, I never heard back. I followed up and spoke with a guy named Evan who was not too pleased I called 5 minutes before closing (I work during their business hours). I again left my contact info with him but never heard back. I followed up once more during my lunch break & left my contact info one last time.. Would you believe they never called back? lol Frustrated by the sheer lack of customer service. Obviously took my business elsewhere.

After having a horrendous experience at John Henry bikes, Comor went above and beyond to help me out. I would definitely recommend this shop.

Good selection and service. Bought an awesome set of Rossi skis.

I would give a zero star if I can. People are lining up for at least an hour while only few customers inside the store. They sort customers out before the entry, and let people looking for appeals going inside first. But the customers got all mixed up after entering, which gives no point for customers lining up for snow gears for more than an hour. So disappointed, don’t recommend.

J L

Very unorganized. We had to wait in line for an hour to go in, when it was -3 degree. And for some reason they keep letting people behind us to go in. Go to Pacific Boarder, way better service.

I bought a pair of Nitro Faint 2 weeks ago and went of the fitting/heat modeling today. When I enter the door, the guy asked me if I have wear my boots or not, certainly, if I did not wear my boots, I will not come for modeling, since they doesn’t fits my left foot, I will need to do it. The without ask me why I came in for the modeling, he put my insole with the boots together to the heating machine. It’s my first time to do it, and I don’t know the proper procedure, I just sit there and waiting for the machine to be done. After 10min of heating, he through back the boots to me without any instruction. I dunno if I need to wear it or not, so according to my common sense, I put them on and tight them up. Dunno how long I need to wait, I just wait it to be cool down and then I directly left the store. I drove back to Sporting life and did the fitting again. They properly took the insole out for herring, given proper instructions and lemme tight the boots up and standing on the bar to raise my toe up for cool down. And then I checked with the technician. I will definitely send these boots back for repair. If the boots puts to the heater for 10min, the stiffness is broken and it’s not as good as the original.

I was at Comor a few weeks ago with a friend. We dealt with a man named Devon. He was the manager. I have never in my life had such a great experience buying something. He knew what he was taking about, he was respectful and treated us like kings. We talked about our experience with our other friends and people we work with, hopefully it has brought this company more business. I will most definitely go back in the future for all of my outdoor needs. Thanks for the awesome experience and service!

Had a great experience buying skis for the first time. Finn was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He patiently spent the time explaining things in detail and answering questions all the questions I had. I walked out of the store with what I was looking for and confident in making the right purchases.

Consistently good helpful service throughout ski season, from order pickup to responding on the phone. Their online ordering and pickup, at the location across the street - worked well. Specific thanks to Anna at the main store for her kind efforts to help us.

Stellar service! (Thus, as many stars as possible.) The staff here were great over the phone and in person. I was looking for a pair of skis that were in short supply and they were responsive to all my enquiries and requests, offering to get some transferred. They called back that very day as someone had just returned the skis (unused) that I was looking for and put them on hold for me to pick up the next day. I showed up about two hours after opening the next day and waited for only a short time in their well marked and socially distanced queue. Upon entering, they took my temperature and they had hand sanitizer ready and readily apparent. They are following Covid protocols very well. While in the store, the employee helping me went in to the back to look for bindings to go with the skis. During that time, three other employees made sure I was being helped; much appreciated! They were able to get the bindings mounted that day. I was not expecting such a quick turn around; much appreciated again! As I had time to kill while waiting for the bindings to be mounted, they suggested the coffee shop just around the corner--good suggestion. I really appreciate the service I received in person that day and the few days prior over the phone. Oh, and good deal on the skis!

Winnie Li

Horrible customer service!!!! Skip the line for almost 20people and let all the adults in the store, leaving a kid outside for waiting on a rainy day. The man at the entrance area didn’t let us in because we are shopping for ski boots, and he said it’s too many people. Actually we can see there is no one in that area, and he just didn’t let us in. What system is that? Let the people you like in first?? What is the meaning of the line?? We asked for an explanation and the man didn’t even want to talk to us. The worst costumer service ever!! Also we called in advance and asked for trade in. The person on the phone said it is ok to do trade in , but the man at the entrance just refuse to do so. How can they be so inconsistent and unprofessional?? Should I keep the phone recording next time before going into the store?? Will never come back to this horrible store again!

Alan xu

Worst customer support you can experienced. Not responding to any calls

Christian Kubas

Helpful staff, great selection and deals especially online. I was able to get my bindings mounted for free when I picked up my all my new gear.

Very helpful to select what type of ski boots I need

If you’re looking to buy skis or snowboarding equipment, talk to Scott. He is a total pro! Great customer service skills, excellent knowledge with the product in store....he made my first ski buying experience a total pleasure. I never felt that I was getting information that was misleading or that I was being upsold into something I didn’t need. Being in sales myself, I really appreciated his honestly and professionalism. Thank you Scott!!

This place is my favourite outdoor shop in Vancouver. The customer service blows my mind every time I come here. The guys who work here are simply awesome! They are so helpful and knowledgeable and allways friendly even if busy.

Hours of online pickup are only from 11-4 even though store hours are listed as open untill 8pm. Poor communication and staff unwilling to help. Online pickup page on their website is 404 as well so no info there. Nothing mentioned in the email I was sent for order pickup that hours were only 11-4. Dissaponting to drive 40 minutes for nothing.

Kevin Armstrong

Not sure what I'm more impressed with in terms of the product, or the service. Wanted a pair of wide fit snowboard boots. I talked to the woman at Whistler and she said she could have them shipped up from Vancouver in two days or delivered to my house. Two days later they were on my front steps and what a great pair of snowboard boots. These guys are amazing!

St Sch

Hit and miss. Some of the stsff is quite helpful and knowledgeable and others are the opposite. Also not very responsive regarding price matching (online) - took them just enough time to wait long enough till the cheaper store ran out of stock or no response at all. Makes it definitely harder to support a local business.

Renae Bartley

I had a really good experience buying Ski gear today, the representative was very knowledgable, kind and helpful. The store had Covid restrictions so there was a line & wait time but the staff were very efficient in moving it along.

My K2 boots' boa had broken after the first ride (No idea how) and I went to Comor for getting warranty. All the employees there were very kind and could get nice services. Thank you Brian and all the other employees! Really appreciated it!

Still a wait to get into the store. A wait to get help from the staff, but once there was a free staff member the service was excellent
