The doctor explained to me the results(I got explained and I was able to understand, without the medical jargon). The cherry on top was the discount I received when ordering my glasses. I feel confident I got a thorough eye exam.

I was 5 minutes late, then waited outside until someone came and unlocked the office. I was told I wasn't there on time, so the person who's appointment was 20 minutes after mine was called in first. I asked if I was going after her, and was told 'probably'. I was then told, quite defensively, 'you can leave if you want, and I'm happy to cancel your appointment.' Hugely unimpressed, didn't expect to be met with such a rude response, and I'm happy to take my business to someone else. Can't un-recommend this place enough!

I had an appointment on Oct 1st - everything was great - the doctor took time to explain what the test results were and I got my new prescription. Later that night I realized I couldn't quite read the handwritten numbers (doctors... right??) so I dropped by the next day to ask what some of the numbers were. the man behind the reception desk was so friendly and nice - he took the extra time to tell me what the numbers meant and what to look for if I was shopping online. He is a definite asset to this establishment. Well done :)

Arrived early for my appointment, was taken right in. Doc went over the images of the back of my eyes with me to show me everything and explained it all to me. Answered all my questions regarding new glasses. Best eye doctor I have used in my adult life. I have to wear glasses 24/7, and have seen a few doctors.

Hands down the best optometrist in North Bay! I've never had such a good experience before. Super friendly, informative and easy going. The optometrist even took time to teach me about my eyes and explained what he's looking for. This is the first time I felt like a doctor actually cared and wasn't just looking to push me through to get to the next appointment. Rudest secretary I have ever encountered in all my days of eye appointments due to eye disease (must be near one hundred over the years). The days of kind Dr. Schryer and staff are long over. I was a patient for nearly twenty years at this practice and have happily walked away from it today. It's a money grab and why there is a six month wait is beyond me. Don't bother, you're a number here. The secretary needs to be sacked for how she speaks to patients.

Absolutely amazing service at Northgate Optometrist! I have been to 3 different optometrist in my lifetime, and non compare to the incredible eye doctors at this office. The Office Administrator was not only wonderfully kind and informative but respectful and approachable. She wore many hats including doing my pre-testing and knew how to run that office smoothly since there was no waiting for me to get my appointment started. I felt very much safe at this location unlike others, they sanitize infront of me so I knew the equipment I'm about to put my face on is clean and safe during time like these. The staff down to earth, very efficient and quick. The doctor gave me more information than I ever gotten before and explained everything to me in a way I understood. Highly recommended!!
