Just went in to get my glasses fixed...which I did not even get there. The screw was stripped so he had to painstkingly fasten a little bolt and nut to fix them. He also adjusted and cleaned them. He asked nothing for the service (I gave him $5 for coffee at least) Amazing place will transfer my business here.

This place is hands down the best place to go to for your optical needs in the Niagara region, especially this location! I live in Mississauga but I always make the trip down to purchase my glasses from them. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, honest and the customer service is superb. Carmelia has always been very helpful. She always advises me on frames suit me the best, and always makes sure that the sizing is correct. They have the best brands that there is to offer in the highest quality. Purchases are always seamless and smooth. If anyone is in the market or in need of an upgrade for any type of glasses, this and only this location should be your one stop shop!

As cliche as it sounds I do not give reviews often, but the customer service here was so exceptional I felt like I had to! First off, Dr MacQueen was phenomenal at his job. He was thorough, and knowledgeable and was the only person to ever tell me what's actually wrong with my eyes (yet it was something I've had my whole life) he was honest and didn't try to force solutions I didn't need. His service brought me back to buy my actual glasses from the store because I wanted to make sure they had my business. When I went back, Eva (sp?) helped me right away. She greeted me at the door, was friendly, knowledgeable and treated me like we had been friends for ages. She gave me her honest opinion on frames and colours on me (which was much needed, I'm indecisive and my boyfriend was no help). She even took time to show me frames on back order she thought might suit me. I ordered two pairs, and they got me every discount possible to try to keep things affordable. This girl deserves a raise ???????? I am still waiting on the backordered pair, but I have no problem waiting because they have been nothing shy of outstanding. And they've been putting up with me excitedly calling every few days to check if they've arrived! Haha All in all, fantastic place. Highly recommend.

I've been shopping at the Vision Clinic for years now (probably the last 4-6 years, but this location for the last 2) and I get the most wonderful customer service ever! Cam always takes care of me whether I am looking for a new pair of glasses, or needing my current pair readjusted. Just recently my glasses started having hinge issues and the Vision Clinic got them replaced within a matter of weeks. My most recent order of new pairsof glasses for my fiancé and I was ready in record time and we could not be happier with them! Shopping at Vision Clinic means that no matter what, you're cared about and treated like the only customer in the store. Wow! Just wow! Amazing customer service. Everyone that worked there was unbelievably friendly and very helpful. The doctor was very nice and they practiced amazing sanitation during this Covid Pandemic. They let me know, without me even asking, that I had insurance to cover a new pair of glasses and as a student I was very happy to hear that! Vision Clinic | Glendale Ave. has been very accommodating to me. I've had to take an eye exam, my current eyeglass lenses replaced, and had to buy contact lenses. Every step of the way was perfect. I had to call for an eye exam appointment which I got the following week, the lenses on my glasses were replaced by the next week and first batch (30 days out of 90 days) were received the week after. They were very patient with my busy schedule and worked with me all the way. The store was clean and professional. I was greeted with a warm welcome every time. All my questions in person and on the phone were answered professionally and with great customer service. Special thanks to Grace who was very quick and always there to respond to my inquiries. And I wish I got the rest of the staff name as well but everyone was amazing. I 100% recommend this place to anyone for everything visual-wise and would come back!

Got my first glasses here and Grace did a wonderful job making sure that I get the lenses that I wanted and the best frames that made sure looked good one me LOL (which was Essilor Eyezen and Ralph Lauren Frames). Dr. Edgar was hilarious and I enjoyed the eye examination more than I actually should have! This was our (mine and my mother) first visit to Vision Clinic on Glendale - it is a very convenient location, close to our home, great parking, so we decided to give it a shot. It is a nice, spacious and bright office, it was tidy and felt very welcoming - at no point was it crazy busy or uncomfortable. The receptionist who answered the phone was extremely friendly and professional, ensuring we had back to back appointments on the same day for convenience and even letting us know to bring our membership cards if we have benefits so they can bill directly - this small interaction made me feel a lot better about switching from our usual optometrist. They were able to bill directly to both of our benefit providers so it was great to not have to pay out of pocket for our exams or have to be reimbursed at a later time. The actual eye exam took very little time, the doctor was thorough but efficient, and even took the time to write down some recommendations to remedy dry, red and itchy eyes - the worst during allergy season. The best part of course is getting to choose new frames. They had a fantastic deal running and huge selection and because of this it will be the first time ever both my mum and I have had two pairs of glasses at once, which helps ensure you're never stuck in a bind if you misplace a pair! Nancy, who helped us choose frames, was so wonderful. She was patient, encouraged us to try all sorts of different styles and colours, she was never overbearing or pushy, and you could tell how much she loved her job. She is such an asset. We later learned that she was the receptionist I was raving about who scheduled our appointments. Definitely give this place a shot, whether you're looking for your first pair of glasses/contacts/sunglasses or you're no longer happy at your current clinic. Both my mum and I were extremely satisfied and can't wait for our new glasses.

I had a wonderful experience with this place, using trusty google I found a high rated optometrist in my area to do my much overdue eye exam. The exam was thorough and Doctor Oliva was halarious. We laughed and I felt very comfortable through the whole process. The place was steadily busy and the staff were pleasant. One particular employee that stood out for me was Desta the receptionist. I joked with her when I heard her name and said she was Desta at the Deska and thats how I would remember her. She was very helpful with helping me pick a frame for my new glasses within my budget and was very compassionate and sensitive to my restrictions. She took care of everything for me. It was an overall great experience and I would recommend to anyone!

Incredible experience here both times I've shopped here! The first time I got a pair of prescription lenses where I had to order the frames first just to try them on (was no issue or fee to do so even if I didn't want them). I ended up loving them and ordering them and the worker rushed them for me and gave me a discount for being a student! The second time I went in for a pair of rayban sunglasses and they were incredibly accommodating and helpful with making sure I got the colour I want with the convenience of me being able to use them sooner! Alan was wonderful and really did me a generous favour! Amazing customer service at this location. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

My appointment today at The Vision Clinic was fantastic! My doctor was incredibly thorough and attentive and spent a lot of time making sure my new script was absolutely perfect for me. To the point that it put him way behind schedule. That is unheard of these days in a doctor's office and I really appreciate the time and energy he spent focusing on me and my vision. I wasn't just another number on the schedule to him and he was fully focused on me during my appointment which was a nice change from the norm. Nancy, the eye care professional who assisted me with picking out my frames and direct billing to my insurance, was incredible. She has such a warm and welcoming energy and went above and beyond to help me. She even called my insurance company to verify benefits and then took me through the process step-by-step to make sure I understood everything. She really impressed me with her thorough attention to detail and her sparkling personality. Nancy is full of awesome sauce and I don't want to see any other professional other than her on my next appointment. The Vision Clinic not only direct bills to insurance companies so that you don't have to deal with the hassle but they also accept ODSP and Ontario Works. I will never go to another eye doctor again. My boyfriend and I are both students and got our glasses chewed up by our husky today. Nancy made it very easy for us to replace them. She made room for both of us to get our eye exams as we walked in without appointments, and put our glasses on a rush so we can have them for class tomorrow! Their doctor who did our exams was also very friendly and made us feel as comfortable as possible the entire time! Ordered contacts after ordering brand name glasses. Glass frames needed to be fixed twice and are still not fixed. Waited 2 months for contacts. Requested solution for contacts and was told that they would need to be ordered. Waited another 2 months just for the solution. Walked in to the location today (October 19, 2017) quite upset. They still did not have my solution. Not impressed at all.

The service wasn't excellent; the receptionist barely held the irritation from my questions. I was on the eye exam with the doctor and asked him about my options to see better and not use glasses or lenses every day. He said just a laser surgery, which is not the case. He didn't even mention the possibility of an Intraocular lens, which is a good solution if you don't want to get a laser. Overall rushed service and bad impression.

I have used Vision clinic for years now but the receptionist at the Glendale location is unprofessional. I was running late for my eye exam, called the clinic to let them know (I'm a busy healthcare provider), the woman who answered said "okay", and I showed up 12 minutes late as mentioned. The receptionist was snarky about my tardiness although I had called. Then told me I would not be seen. I do not understand how someone like her is able to maintain a customer service position with that demeanor! No more referrals to this clinic.

This is the best eye clinic I have ever been to. I have dealt with quite a few places and have never been given such great service until I went to Vision Clinic on Glendale . When I first walked in I felt as if it was a very nice place, very clean and welcoming. Every one of the staff members were kind and greeted us with a smile ???? I went in the room when my daughter was getting her eyes checked and I thought it would be the same old feeling of them just getting it over with but it was different. He was a really friendly guy and listened to our concerns and answered any questions. We had Nancy help us with our glasses and now I will never deal with anyone else. She is absolutely the BEST. She truly does care about the people as well, it is easy to see. She is very professional. Most places I've been in the past just seem to push for me to buy the most expensive frames etc. but not this place, they tried to keep my cost as low as possible knowing my budget. Even in doing that they gave us wonderful quality glasses and service, I really just couldn't be any happier. I will never go anywhere else ????????

My husband recently purchased a pair of glasses at Vision Clinic on Glendale where Grace assisted us in selecting a great pair of glasses for him. Grace was friendly and knowledgeable and provided excellent service. Grace is also Spanish and generously offered to help us translate a short verse to Spanish which helped us immensely. Grace was very approachable and made finding a new look with a pair of glasses fun!!!

Nancy and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful from the moment I walked in the door. She sat with me looking up all the available colours for frames I had picked out so I could find exactly what I was looking for. She even ordered me a pair to try on in a different colour with no obligation to purchase. I ended up bringing my partner to get a pair as well as the service was so excellent. Everyone was helpful in making sure we were getting the frames and lenses that were right for us, and Nancy seemed as excited for our new glasses as we were! There's literally nothing bad I can say about the Vision Clinic on Glendale. Firstly, the optometrist (Dr. MacQueen) was able to diagnose me with a relatively rare refractory issue that causes me to have no depth perception - something no one in my entire adult life was able to do. He took more time and care during the exam and speaking to me afterwards than any other optometrist I've seen. To say that this clinic CHANGED MY LIFE, would be a serious understatement. Alongside the extremely supportive store manager and the fantastic receptionist, Nancy is just a gem. She was able to pick out the perfect set of frames for me and they ended up being the ones I purchased. 10/10 doesn't even seem like enough. I recommend this clinic to everyone who I speak to about my glasses. After all, I would still be living in a 2D world if it weren't for the team at Vision Care.

My experience started off rocky as the woman at the front desk was very snooty and condescending in the way she speaks to people. I work in customer service and sales and I wouldn't have a job if I talked to customers like that. I heard her speak to other customers the same way as well. It is so often how you say it not what you say. Past that the eye doctor was good and the young woman who helped me pick out my glasses was great. She made the experience by far. The older woman at the front desk should take a note on how to talk to customers from the very respectful, accommodating and effective rep who took care of me.
