The customer service is horrendous. I was on the phone explaining how my contacts were terrible and I needed a new brand and they wouldn’t refund me. I believe my trial contacts were used... they gave me two different size/prescription contacts... I feel as though they were talking down to me like I was ignorant and saying they gave me “many trial pairs” when in reality they gave me different brands for the right and left eye only two times.. p.s. (I don’t have astigmatism and I have the same prescription for both eyes)

I’ve been coming here for years and then moved to Rochester for college and went to VisionWorks so I didn’t have to making the long commute. They took me in for a regular eye exam, took photos of my eye and found that I had an astigmatism. I’ve been wearing contacts for years that did not accommodate this. Then they found an irregularity in my eye and referred me to an ophthalmologist who told me that I need eye surgery immediately. Thanks for nothing guys! Won’t be coming back ever

They close too early on Friday, I went to pick up my glasses, and contacts at 4:30 pm and they were closed. I went there for nothing and I had trouble seeing.I will still go back so please stay open later on Fri.

We loved the eye doctor but the customer service was terrible. They seemed nice at first but when we started to look they were no help at all and did not seem to care about us finding the right pair and being happy. One of the employees was exceptionally rude to us and we will be calling the manager to speak about her.

I had a great experience at West Seneca location. Though they were pretty busy, Ethan took time to listen and after trying on several styles, he picked out exactly what I was looking for! When I went to pick them up the fit was perfect. For the record, I have no vision care insurance and was wearing a pair of 3 yr old glasses -- that I hated. That pair of glasses, including eye exam, had cost me over $900 at LensCrafters. They had also helped me pick out the frames, which turned out to be way too big for my face, but I let them convince me I looked good in them. My new glasses from Sterling with exam, cost me a little over a third of old pair. That said, so far, I'm a very happy customer. Thanks to Ethan for your help and caring service.

Everyone was very polite and helpful but the wait was absolutely atrocious. I had an appointment at 6pm and didn’t get seen until 6:45pm. Only one doctor working and only two people helping customers on the floor. If you know there is one doctor, make your appointments farther apart. Also, don’t take a walk in over an appointment.

Had to leave here because of my insurance and luckily got to come back to their new location. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I was leaving for a flight a lost my glasses last minute. They whipped up a new pair for me in 30 minutes! Won’t get anywhere else from now on!

I have been going to sterling optical in main place for about 8 years when they closed the location I was upset. Walked into this location and the staff of sterling optical main place is here. I am always guaranteed a great eye exam, they always give great customer service, and my glasses were ready in 5 days I highly recommend them.

Evan and Erica were very hepful to me when picking out glasses. Most places leave you on your own. They both were picking out options for me to try and gave honest opinions. The doctor was very good to work with. He answered all my questions in a casual and understandable way. I would definitely recommend you try this store.
