The staff are nice but it is not set up 4 children, they hve no toys, no books not even a tv. The lady doc my son saw was nice but not great with kids n had no props or insentive for my 3 yr old. We were made to wait when we first arrived, then wait 4 drops then wait 15 mins 4 a sec drop with no entertainment at all. My 3 yr old told them they need toys like his doc n his dentist!! Was not the best first experience 4 my son at an eye doctor. Which they told me he needs glasses n he don't wanna go bk. hope he really does cuz I hvent noticed a thing wrong with his vision jus took him as I was taking my older son. She concluded by saying he needed glasses but couldn't explain to me anything bout it jus gave me a number n said wat it should be. I do not plan on getting glasses till she gives me a little bit of an explaination

Moe and his brother provide exceptional service and a level of care that no other optician has ever provided my daughters and I before. I live in Mississauga but drive all the way out to Hamilton because of the service the two of them provide. Furthermore, the store has a great selection of trendy and classical fashion frames and the guys always deliver on time. I had been to other optical stores before that said my pair of glasses would be ready by a certain date but those stores never delivered on their word. Spotlight always delivers on their word. I look forward to continuing going to spotlight optical for the foreseeable future. Thanks guys for all your help and service.

People who work there were very rude, it was the worst experience ever. The guy who works there literally pulled the glasses from my face when I said that I am not happy with their service. They claim that they cover special discount for staff and students from McMaster but that was a big lie. Not friendly environment at all. I am glad I left this place without buying glasses, now I bought a better pair for better price from Optical Factory. Sadly, Hamilton is getting weird.

This place is amazing. I always have people telling me where to go when I need to buy eyeglasses and I always get let down and it always a rough experience and I was getting a coffee and decided to just have a look. The selection here is awesome I found at least 20 frames I could have bought. The one thing that was awesome is they have a doctor on site and direct billed my insurance for me which made it super easy. It's one of the first positive experiences I had purchasing glasses in Hamilton. I ended up buying two Tom Ford sets which I saw at my old doctors office for around $2000 and I purchased both here for under $1000! it has been 6 months and I'm still really happy with them and no issues with the antiglare which always pissed me off before and the quality of the lenses are awesome!!! I have to admit I didn't trust them at first because of my negative expetiences but they educated me and were super transparent about what they use for lenses and why they are less expensive and no messing around with prices or fake sales. "The price is the price we make the glasses at the price we can afford too" is what Moe said (owner). I just have to say they were professional and the customer service was awesome. Never going anywhere else.

I am a fussy customer; they were patient, polite, friendly and very professional. As a mature consumer, I can easily contrast the strong customer service focus here with other retailers, where oftentimes, with no vested interest, service doesn't matter.
