I have had nothing but amazing service from Optical Factory. I like bright and bold frames and they carry a great variety of everything from classic to colourful ones, and lots of really nice affordable ones too. Fred makes sure the glasses fit right and the prescriptions are right. They even followed up a few weeks later after I got my first pair of progressives to make sure they are working out. Definitely recommend!

The optometrist is very knowledgeable and friendly but he seems to have such random hours when he is actually there. I got a trial pair of contacts used them and couldn't ever get them ordered because he wasn't there and the lady didn't seem to know what she was doing at all.

I have getting my glasses from Fred at the Optical Factory for probably 10 years or more. The quality is always excellent. I always find a frame that looks good and is a quality product. He carries the very best and latest in lenses. I have a very strong prescription and Fred always offers me the highest quality available for the best price. I live in Durham Region and when his location had to change I couldn't find what he had for a comparable price. So I make the drive to Wynford Drive to get my glasses. It's worth it. Actually the new location is right off the Don Valley so it is not that big a deal to travel down. Thanks Fred!

I have been coming to Fred at Optical Factory for a few years, and have been thoroughly impressed with the good, old-fashioned customer service that I always get—the kind that seems to be a thing of the past everywhere. I purchased an extended warranty on the last pair of glasses I got, not thinking too much about it. What I didn’t realize at the time, or had probably since forgotten, was that my lenses would be replaced by the lab, completely free of charge, if damaged within the first year. Who knew that puppies like to gnaw on lenses? Certainly not I. Indeed, my new puppy went to town on my glasses, quicker than I could stop him, one day. When I called Fred, he told me not to worry—the lenses would be replaced, free of charge! I had only to pay a $20 service charge to have them fitted to my frames. He ordered the lenses for me, and I went to see him a week later. In FIVE MINUTES, while I waited, the new lenses were put into the frame. Oh Happy Day! I’ve never encountered such excellent customer service ANYWHERE. I highly, highly reccommend Optical Factory. They will take care of you!
