Recently went here for the first time. Fantastic experience. Was really impressed by the staff who were both friendly and helpful. Nice showroom with plenty of selection, including a second floor. So much to like here. Would recommend, and will be going back again.

Next Optical is the best place to get your glasses. But the oakville owner has a bad attitude. His wife is a great person very friendly and shows respect to customers. But the guy is ill tempered and rude. If he doesn’t change his attitude he will loose customer.

Next Optical is a family run business, the owners pride themselves in taking the extra care to make their customers happy. I have been a customer at Next Optical for over 10 years and feel like family each time I return. They have an amazing selection of brand name sunglasses and prescription glasses and recently added a second floor to their showroom to accommodate their growing selection. There is also an Optometrist onsite a few days a week. The owner Bo is very accommodating and works hard to keep his customers happy. I would recommend this place to anyone who values quality products and extraordinary customer service.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I have been dealing with buying glasses for 23 years, and never have I ever been so disrespected and mistreated. The owner didn't think we would be spending enough money at his store and as a result his rudeness escalated to the point that he literally kicked us out of the store. I cannot attest to the product the store has to offer, but i can say that the costumer service is horrific. I will never go there again and I seriously warn anyone from going there. When I read the other negative reviews on Yelp before going, I didn't believe it could be that bad, but now that i have experienced it first hand, honestly, such an awful experience :(

I have worked with 3 optical stores in the past and I will definitely be returning to Next Optical. Even when the store was busy, they acknowledge you as soon as you enter and maintain professionalism. The selection is expansive along with price points for any budget and style. Hubby walked in with no appointment with broken glasses in hand, they did a quick prescription check and had an order written up in minutes.

Next optical can be described as a team of professional, dedicated and caring people who not only understand your needs, but also give suggestions( when needed). Got my glasses and sunglasses for my son from them, Pawan made our experience very good.Bhupinder and both ladies there are also very helpful. I got a very good deal in brand name frames.I am very picky, but they have amazing collection of frames at reasonable prices plus gave a good deal with excellent and professional customer service. I didn't realize that Next Optical was open during the Covid-19 lockdown and made the mistake of ordering a pair of glasses online with a prescription I had gotten before the lockdown started. Within a couple days of wearing the glasses my eyes were killing me! I realized Next Optical was open and had the lenses tested and they confirmed there was an issue with them. I immediately returned the online glasses and ordered a beautiful pair from Next Optical. My new glasses came in a couple days and my eyes feel so much better. I truly wish I had just order from Next Optical to begin with. Excellent service and a much better quality of glasses than I had ordered online for not much of a price difference.

I've been a long time customer of Next Optical in Oakville and have always found them to have exceptional service and great prices. They offer different options for lenses and explain each one carefully so you know exactly what you're getting. They ask questions about how you use your glasses and make recommendations based on feedback. They never use high pressure sales tactics in my experience. They have a huge selection of frames from well known brands. Eye exams can be arranged too and done in the same premises. I have no hesitation in recommending Next Optical to anyone looking for eyeglasses and sunglasses.

This place has amazing customer service. I had purchased a pair of glasses at 3for1 glasses in Burlington. I was in Oakville when I lost a screw. I went to 3for1 glasses in Oakville, they refused to help me because I didn't purchase them at their location. I went to Next Optical. They didn't even ask where I purchased them. They just fixed them, no questions and no charge in 2 minutes. I'm giving them 5 stars. Well deserved.

We have been coming here for years and have always been amazed at how great the service is -from the first time that we walked through the door to our visit today -there is a great selection but it's the "above and beyond" service that really sets them apart. I'm not sure about all these negative reviews in regards to the owner. My entire family has been going to Next Optical for years now! The only person we normally deal with is the owner and he has always gone above and beyond with all of our needs. We stay and continue with them due to their extreme professionalism, detail and true kindness. Something as simple as an adjustment, replacement screw, replacement nose pads - it doesn't matter what we are looking for, they are always there to help no matter what. They also always have a large selection to choose from to meet anyone and everyone's needs. To anyone reading the reviews, don't look too much into the negative ones. Go take a look for yourself and come up with your own judgment.

I'd like to recommend next optical for their customer care, patience, and time they took in helping me choose my glasses along with my contact lens experience. Trying to pick contact lenses is quite time consuming but the staff were very patient in giving me/ordering sample trials until I found the right fit for myself. I found the contact lens experience to be very personalized and custom to my needs. On each visit I found this place to always treat me with respect and gave me lot of time and patience. Would recommend next optical without hesitation.

I think all the positive reviews are from owners and friends. I went in for a repair on my sunglasses, the second I said repair, the owners attitude did a 180 and he proceeded to be rude and not helpful. I guess he only wants to sell sunglasses, not repair them. The funny thing is since they were unrepairable, I would have bought new ones their. Not anymore! Once I told him that, he proceeded to get in my face and tell me he didn't need my business. What happened to the customers always right? Terrible businessman, and I hope this review effects it. This is my first review, never been so upset leaving a business.

Run far away from this establishment unless you enjoy being treated in a condescending, righteous and uncaring owner who thinks customer service and retention is unimportant. A very pompous individual who only cares about getting your money and not following through with your satisfaction on his inferior product. There are so many other optical places around who would appreciate your business. BTW, while I was there, he was also treating another customer with the same disrespect and we both walked out together....never going back. Who runs a business like that in today's world?

Amazing selection, 2 fully stocked showrooms full of brand name products. Most of the employees are family members and they are so warm and friendly. The owner is great, the price he gave me for prescription glasses and sunglasses was very reasonable and he even offered to update my old glasses with my new prescription complimentary, the customer service is just wonderful. Extremely happy with my experience at this optical store, highly highly recommend.

My mother suffers from dementia and is under lock down in her nursing home. She broke her glasses and could not see and because of her dementia could not get an eye exam. I went to many optical places in Oakville and no one would help me because they needed a new prescription before they would consider helping. I explained that she was unable to do a vision test due to her condition. I went to my last location Next Optical where I can't believe how kind they were. They took the existing lenses and fit them into a new frame. Keep in mind that the lenses were very difficult to fit because they were a very think and strong prescription. No other optical place would attempt to fit the lenses into a frame. When I went to pick them up they said NO CHARGE, I could not believe it. They said that helping out a senior in these difficult times was their pleasure. I want the public to know how terrific the staff are and that this act of kindness should be shared. THANK YOU ALL AT NEXT OPTICAL. You gave my mother her sight back.

I purchased glasses at Next Optical in the past, and the woman working there was perfectly helpful and friendly. Recently I called in to ask for a measurement from a previous order, and a man told me in a very angry tone that he wouldn't provide it unless I came in to buy something else from them. Confused, I tried to clarify what I was asking for and why, and midway through my sentence he cut me off and hung up! Not sure if they've had a change of staff lately, but if that's the customer service now being offered, I would look elsewhere...

Went to this place a year or so ago on a recommendation from a friend. Good service and decent price. Produced my new glasses as promised for the agreed price. Unfortunately the frame broke last month, so I went back thinking it could be repaired easily by Bo or one of his team. To my surprise the glasses were under warranty and I received a new pair in a couple of days. Awesome. I'd recommend this place for sure.

Unbelievably great customer service!! Had moved to Jackson’s Point and needed my glasses fixed, but nobody here could do it. I mailed them on a Thursday and got them back by next Tuesday! They did more than I ever expected. Absolutely amazing people. I’ll make the trip next time I need glasses.
