The old guy on the shop is very rude !! He doesn’t know how to treat customers. If you’re a student and going there he will be super rude to you for no good reason !! I wanted to ask few things about the lenses and the shades I was about to buy but he was talking to me like I’m taking it for free and he’s doing me a favour lol. BAD BAD EXPERIENCE !! SUPER RUDE UNCLE !

What can I say! Absolutely blown away by the utmost professionalism by the staff at Kanda Optical and the way they ensure the safety of their employees and clients. From the moment you walk into Kanda Optical you know that all safety measures and protocols are in place to provide the most comfortable environment. I have been going to the location on 60 Cottrelle Boulevard for over 10yrs the staff has always made it such a great experience they are very helpful and knowledgeable about their products there. my family and I really love this place and appreciate everything always, Thank you ladies!!! And a big shout out to Shindini !! who always help me to make a final decision since there are so much beautiful option.

My wife and I visited this location on Saturday for her glasses and contacts. We loved the staff. Personally dealt with the store Manager, Chandni. She made us feel very comfortable and welcomed us very nicely. She knew my wife's taste for the specific type of frame she wanted right away and gave us many options. The location has quite the variety and is kept very tidy and clean. Our experience was very pleasant and would highly recommend others to visit this location as well.

My experience at Kanda Optical Cottrelle was amazing! Starting with the eye exam the optometrist was super friendly and efficient. Then the ladies in the store were extremely helpful and patient as I tried on several pairs of glasses. They helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Their service was impeccable!! Wonderful Service! I recently bought my eyeglasses there and they were trampled on and the frames were gone only a few weeks later after I bought them, the lenses were intact though. I called the store owner and asked if there were other frames that could fit my lenses. She said she would get back to me and in two days she had them, fixed them and I was extremely happy with the service and the attention!!!

Very unprofessional place..their apppointment system is sucks... Make u wait for ever ....my son appointment was at 12h30 and they made me wait over 40 min and when i mentionned it to them they told me " sometime we run out of time" ok fine i understand but you should call and let the rest of the customer know that we should expect a lil bit of delay so we dont rush to be there on time thinking of not missing our appointment... Especially when your there with small kids and they make you wait for ever then its really not a place to recommend to any parents with small kids...very unprofessional place ..seriously...im sooooo mad right now...

We have been purchasing our eyeglasses and getting our eye tests done here for several years now. That in itself should tell we have been very satisfied with the high level of courtesy and professionalism provided during our visit. The staff are all great but we mostly dealt with Chandni who is very patient and gives the best customer service with a smile and pleasant attitude. I want to say thank you for having my new glasses ready very quickly in just over a week time. There is a wide array of brand names to choose from and I got two pairs because of the affordable prices. I would highly recommend that you pay a visit to this shop to get your glasses and enjoy your shopping experience. Great customer service!

I was very thankful to get a last minute appointment to see the doctor at this location. I went there everything was very clean, staff were very friendly. I found a pair of frames that I really liked and simply asked if it was available in another color. They proceeded to say they would check in another location and I was happy to wait and reviewing my prescription I noticed that my pupil distance measurement was missing and I asked for it. I was told they only will provide it to me if I order a pair of glasses from them....mind you I selected a quite expensive frame which I was prepared to purchase was just waiting for confirmation on color availability, the ladies in the store told me I could ask the doctor that helped me that day if she would provide it, but they refused. I went back and spoke with the doctor and asked her and she said it's not a problem just ask the ladies at the front they can do it, I explained to her what is just experienced with the ladies at the front and she went to speak with them and asked them to provide it, they proceeded to speak about me and about the situation in their own language which I do not understand and refused to provide this to me which is completely unprofessional and unwarranted. They decided to tell me that the meat is a liability so they only give it if you order glasses (clearly from them). Perhaps they were concerned that I would go use the measurement to purchase something elsewhere but regardless I was committed to buying something from them anyways and I had just paid for an eye exam. Needless to say I was really upset about this and just decided to drop everything and leave, I'm not going to spend upwards of over $800 in a store where I'm going to be disrespected in this way and they're going to hold a measurement hostage after I've already paid for a portion of my service. While I may have been dressed casually etc. I'm a professional, willing and able to pay for whatever I want and because of this ridiculous behavior they lost our. This visit had the potential to be a really great visit because they had a great selection of frames and the service appeared to be on point, but it's clear that they are driven solely by money and feel that speaking another language in front of somebody about them when asked a question is acceptable and for this reason 1 star. I won't return, I'd rather pay double elsewhere. UPDATE: THE OWNER CONTACTED ME IN AN ATTEMPT TO RESOLVE. THE RESOLUTION WAS A 20% DISCOUNT. AT NO POINT AND TIME WOULD THEY ACKNOWLEDGE OR APOLOGIZE FOR THE FACT THAT SPEAKING ANOTHER LANGUAGE THAT A CUSTOMER DOESN'T UNDERSTAND AND ABOUT A CUSTOMER WAS INAPPROPRIATE, NOR THE FACT THAT PROVIDING A MEASUREMENT AFTER I PAID FOR AN EYE EXAM WAS A SALES TACTIC, THEY'RE MERELY WORRIED ABOUT RATINGS. IT'S CLEAR WHAT THE STANDARD AND WHO THEIR TARGET CLIENTS ARE RACIALLY HERE. AS A HUMAN RESOURCES PROFESSIONAL THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE TO ME. I WILL NEVER BE A CUSTOMER AGAIN.

Professional, ready to help staff has always made our selection and purchase of eye wear very smooth. They work out all the minute details with insurance companies and make the transaction as easy as possible. Will recommend them any day.

Awful service. I had scheduled an appointment for an eye exam a week prior because I have a very busy schedule as a student working and schooling full time. On the day of the appointment, I walk in and I can tell it's busy already with the amount of customers in the store. I inform then that I have an appointment and fill out their form and am told that there will be about an HOUR long wait. What is the point of an appointment if I have to wait that long anyways. It was simply a massive waste of time and the management did not seem to care about this.

Do not waste your time to see the eye doctor. He and the staff have no consideration for your time and will continuously lie to your face. I called the office at 4:30 and was told that there was an availability at 5:00. When I arrived at 5:00 (30 minutes later) I was told there were 4 people ahead of me and it would take a minimum of half an hour for the doctor to see. There was no mention of this when I called 30 minutes prior. The saleswoman suggested that I go somewhere else in the meantime. 1) I was understanding about this even though I was told 30 minutes prior that the doctor could see me at 5:00 so I left. When I returned 45 minutes later I was told that the doctor is now seeing somebody else but I was told by the saleswoman that the doctor would be seeing me next. 2) I was understanding about that as well and waited. The doctor finished with the patient in the room and then instead of calling me in, like I was told. The doctor took in a patient who came after me. When I stated that I was told I was next I was told that the other patient had an appointment. I also was told that there was an appointment available at 5:00 but this did not matter. 3) I once again waited and was told that I would be next. When the doctor finished with the next patient (it is now 6:20). I got ready to go in but without even acknowledging me the doctor called in another patient. Once again I looked at the saleswomen and she said, "Oh, he just has a follow up but you're next". By this point I had already been lied to 3 times about being next. At that point I left the office 1.5 hours after the so called availability at 5:00 without seeing the doctor. Don't bother wasting your time and being continuously lied to.

My experience shopping for both prescription glasses and sunglasses has always been tremendous. The staff is very patient and helpful, especially the store manager Chandni who is very courteous and knowledgeable. I have bought many glasses from this location in the past 4-5 years and always return back when buying a new one as they have a great selection of glasses. I have never had any complaints every time I shopped there any also they always dealt very diligently with any questions I had.
