Poor customer service. Employee followed me around the store as if I was a criminal and made very rude pointed comments. Store is very overwhelming regarding organization. Everything is in your face and not orderly at all. Very hard to find what youre looking for.

Made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for an eye test and they called to cancel it the day before telling me the only option to reschedule was in another 2 weeks at earliest, with no explanation I found it very unprofessional and chose to cancel in favour of a competitor across the street that was able to accomodate me in 2 days. I don't make appointments frivolously and my need for the results were time sensitive which is what prompted me to write this review. I realize this isn't indicative of the store being overall incompetent which is why I didn't rate it 1 star, walking in to make the appointment was perfectly pleasant and the person who helped me was very helpful and nice.

Stuff is nice as long as you’re buying from them once you order your glasses then the service is terrible. Bought two pair of glasses didn’t have me try them on so they could be adjusted, I just tried them on and told her they’re too tight she told me to come back next week, I said they need to be fixed now they’ll give me a headache. Pretended to fix them but didn’t ! ..Went back two weeks later to get them readjusted to make them bigger she went in the back but there is still no difference then she told me she can not fix them anymore! But the whole thing was really over my husband didn’t end up getting his glasses from them , he went somewhere else. So the girl was just RUDE!! Would never recommend.

Excellent customer service. Trina is a lifesaver! She went out of her way to fix my son's broken glasses. She was very helpful and put tremendous effort to get them fixed right away. Thanks to her, my son can attend school tomorrow and will not suffer for his vision. Thank you Trina you are a great asset, you made my day!

After lengthy injections and final surgery, I was finally cleared to get prescription glasses. After examination and determining prescription FYI quoted me over $600 to put medium priced lenses in my almost new frames. It seemed excessive for lenses only so I called Hakim and they said to come right over with the prescription. After discussing history and my conditions at Hakim, they advised that "elite" would be better and quoted both mid price and "elite" to me. The "elite" were almost $200 cheaper than the mid=range lenses quoted by FYI. I am a sucker for good value and really appreciate the great service provided at this site. Keep up the great work.

Not recommended. Went in looking for an eye exam - Website and store front says exams available here. Told not available and would need to go to another optometrist. Which is fine but then decided to look at some glasses was offered no help and felt very unwanted in the store so decided to leave. Will look elsewhere when I purchase glasses

Great customers service. Received my glasses fast, ended up getting two pairs for the price of one anywhere else. Needed some repair work from breaking them when I fell asleep with them on, it was done on the spot and under warranty. Affordable glasses, great customer service. Remember when it comes to any product, quality is usually price dependant.

Worst customer service ever. They messed up my eye prescription for my 2 pairs of glasses and my contact lenses then told me there was nothing they could do for me but for me to write a letter to head office. 3 years later I still have got letter or email from them. I called head office and they tell me they never got a letter. Head office got the area manager to call me and he didn't care. This place is a the worst place and it should be shut down for good. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Their "in house" optometrist was only available one day a week. The lenses I got using his prescription caused awful eye strain. I eventually got them to get me new lenses using my old prescription (which still works fine for other glasses/contacts) but I still had the same eye strain effect. Not sure if they even changed the lenses... My eyes still hurt and I'm out the money...

my prescription was not done properly,i brought them back and the"receptionist" or whoever she was gave me a song and dance on how I have to go back to my optometrist for and examination.she never took the time to listen and hear my concern. She remained very sarcastic through out my stay in the store. I now that they will tell me it's not their problem. There is a lot more to this story but little space to tell it. I will never ever purchase form this location nor any other. the worst customer service

Avoid this location. The manager at least tried to help me, but both he and the clerk had attitude and the clerk was extremely obstructive, even going so far as to say the manager didn't understand the difficulties of what I was asking. Go to the location at 5 corners in Niagara Falls. Infinitely better customer service.

Wow never have I had issues with getting a new pair of glasses.. but this place was horrible. Firstly, the eye doctor was very rude and short with me when I had questions, felt like he rushed the test. I chose out my frames there as well as the anti reflective lenses and waited a week for them to call me, upon leaving I noticed within 20 minutes that there was a circular shape of numerous scratches on the one lens. Brought them back, the ladies said they had no clue what it could’ve been from, I even questioned if it was from some kind of clamp or something during the cutting process. They had no clue. But said they’d resolve it, another week later and right from the second she handed them to me I could see the EXACT same markings! I said what are these from it’s gotta be something?? She assured me it was a new lense and even showed me the old one. But STILL had no explanation.. I had much patience with them as they took back my glasses again for another week. Picked them up 2 days ago I asked her if they checked over them good, she said yes, I inspected them left and later realized again there is still some of the same type of markings. I still have no clue what the explanation is, not sure if it is something with the anti reflective coating.. they had no answers for me. but I have no more patience to deal with this place, I will not be going back as I’ve already been to this place WAY more times than necessary.. for ONE pair of glasses that still aren’t proper.
