What a wonderful experience! They are so friendly and helpful every step of the way. They have a great eye for what looks good (and are honest about it ). You don't feel rushed and employees take their time when waiting on you! We brought my daughter there I of course got my pair there and this is where when my hubby is due will go. A1 service !

I called to find out my pupillary distance, which they have on file, to be told it was going to cost 50 dollars just to have someone go to a filing cabinet! Last time I darken their door!

Hakim Optical is best for regular glasses, but if you are looking for fashionable glasses, then I would say collections are super limited. They need to add more varieties if they want to expand their target groups.

If you look at the pictures of the store front there is a clear sign that says eye exams... if you call they tell you they don't do eye exams.(i was parked in front of the building when i called about an appointment) I know I need glasses but something seems amiss here... I'm not sure why they keep the illuminated sign up.. maybe they just don't have a dr. atm but the guy made it sound like they just don't do them at all.. but please take the eye exam sign down or at least turn it off!

Just bought quality sunglasses, they were cheaper than the other Optical I visited ,half the price ,the customer service was good got everything you would get with prescription glasses ,guarantee, case and glass cleaner ,so I'm a happy camper!! ????

I normally shop for glasses online, but Hakim Optical will make you a believer in going to a brick-and-mortar store. They have a great selection of super unusual, cool frames, and I had a great customer service experience with Leo Moore. Super friendly and professional. I get compliments on my new glasses that he picked out for me almost every day. Thanks guys!

I am new to the glasses world, & as a grad student didn't want to spend a lot of money but wanted a good looking pair. Hakim had lots of options and I found I pair I love! The staff went about and beyond for me, especially when I realized after I picked up my new glasses that my optometrist (not Hakim) had given me an old prescription. Hakim had no issues replacing my lenses with the new (right) prescription, no hassle at all! I will continue to give Hakim my business & would 10/10 recommend them to anyone in the market for new glasses!

Just picked up my new glasses today! The staff is amazing and I have never been provided with better service!! They are more than willing to explain new lenses, fits, and specials; as well as going above and beyond to make sure you have exactly what you need when you leave. Extremely poor customer service! I went to Hakim Optical to get my temple bent back to normal. I was asked if I bought my frames there and how long ago. He didn’t look at my glasses but told me that there’s a very good change that if he tried to bend the arm that the glasses would break. I went to Walmart Optical showed the man my glasses. He looked at them said that the frames look sturdy and offered to fix them. Left the Walmart Optical store with fixed glasses and a huge sense of relief. Not happy with Hakim Customer Service! Seems just wants to sell glasses not assist in maintenance or provide customer service.

I had been searching for glasses for several months and dropped in to Hakim determined to finally make a purchase. Leo was extremely helpful. I have a hard time picking glasses that suit my face. I told Leo some options that interested me and he was able to quickly pick out 3 frames that look awesome. Thank you Leo and Donnie for excellent customer service and great value for my new specs.

The staff here are amazing. They took their time and explained my prescription and the pros and cons of each pair of glasses I looked at. They did not pressure me and provided very good advice. I am more then pleased with the service and experience I had at HaKim in SJ

I called a few days in advance to ask some questions about the inventory they carry including their hours of operation. They told me they close at 7pm. So I drove an hour to get to the city to go and shop for a few new pairs of glasses, however, when I arrived at the McAllister Drive Saint John location at 5pm,, the lights were off and the covid checklist said to call a phone number in order to gain access. I called and the guy said because he didnt get a lunch break, he decided to close 2 hrs early. This is completely unacceptable and terrible service. Hakim optical is NOT a reliable optical to shop at clearly... I'll never return in the future... pathetic!

Fantastic service. I went into the store with my new perscription just to shop for price. The man who waited on me was great. He was able to pick out 4 pairs of glasses which I loved such a short period of time. It would have taken me hours and I probably wouldn't have been able to find so many pairs to choose from. He gave me a price with everything I wanted in my glasses and the price was great. I definitely will be purchasing my new glasses at Hakim Optical

Hakim optical has a customer for life. I ruined my glasses this past friday and it was a long weekend so i couldnt chose lenses and frames until the next tuesday. I went in to see Leo and he assured me that i will see again before the weekend. Today is thursday so about 48 hours later i have both of my new frames . This was amazing because anyone that has ever lost or wrecked there glasses knows its tragic not to see. ThanKS Again Leo.

I had been shopping around for new glasses for over a month. I’m a gal who know what she’s looking for! On hubby’s suggestion, We stumbled into Hakim Optical in Saint John NB and low and behold, who did we see??!! None other than Mr Leo Moore!!!! You have no idea how excited I was to see his face!! ????????????. I only wish I had have know he went there years ago!!! Now, Leo KNOWS exactly what I want!! Always did!! I’d tell him what I was looking for and I ended up chosing the first set of frames he suggested!! AMAZING!! (This was store #6 we had tried—finally found something I wanted!!). Our family had gone to Leo for years in Sussex and nothing could fill the void when needing new glasses. Leo’s customer service is outstanding!! The only negative thing I have to say is that I wish I had have know Leo was there years ago!!! So happy!!!!
