Fantastic staff. I purchased a large item here that had to be partially disassembled. The store manager was excellent. He made sure I had lots of help with taking it apart and loading it in my car. The gentleman who took it apart and helped me load it in my car is very friendly and helpful. Great experience with the store manager and staff. Thank you!

Buyer beware, while walking through the store looking for a few things I notice these 2 coolers, both well above the safe storage temperature. I mentioned it to a staff member, who asked me what I wanted him to do about it and I say do something about it, as it is not safe.

Had to look for quite a while before I could find an employee for assistance. Two employees were walking straight toward me, and when I said “Excuse me,” the woman looked directly at me and ignored me and walked away. I followed and said “Excuse me,” again and she barely glanced over her shoulder before saying “One second,” in a rude tone. The two employees proceeded to ignore me for a solid two seconds while I waited. When they finally asked me what I wanted they proved to be very unhelpful. Definitely wouldn’t come back here due to bad customer service.

Most walmart stores have a greeter, this one has apparently an insulter, my wife and I were just stopped by this guy for no apparent reason and he reached into the bag we were carrying and grabbed our receipt "to check it", wouldn't you think that if that was what he was actually doing, he'd see what was in the bag to see if the contents matched the receipt? I guess that's not important. Very tactless and insulting behavior, if I had been alone our purchase would have been returned on the spot. Not happy!!!

Pet Food Dept. is such a disappointment. Flavors of Friskies indoor canned cat food have been taken off the shelves, and a lot of the time there are no 12 can boxes of the Indoor flavors. Frequently out of stock in canned and dry foods, and litter. I no longer shop there if I can help it.

Shelves are rarely to never stocked (I have gone through and had this issue anywhere between noon and 7pm and had this issue) The actual cash wait times are too long, they really need more cashes or a quick checkout like they used to have. Helpful staff....lost 20 minutes of my day with a mis-priced item at self check out. Remove these machines.... every time I use them there is always a human to assist....and they usually have to. I was in store early and it took some time for a human to help.... then it took her 15 minutes to sort it out. I estimate you have a 20% fail rate. And while 80% success may look good on a balance sheet...the issues the 20% fails cause, erodes your customer's confidence. I will not use them again and almost left your store before checkout over a $1 price difference. Store was clean...I found everything I needed... up until checkout I was a very pleased customer.

So disappointment today! I was wondering why they don't carry the large Nescafe instant coffee anymore. So I saw a clerk in a aisle. Hi sir do you still carry the Nescafe Instant coffee and he held his mask close to his face and very Rudley said NO. Then went back to what he was doing. I just wanted to know why or could you find out if you can get it. So ya I walked away right away because he obviously did not want to help. So HEY WAL-MART what the heck. Maybe remind your employees that having customers heĺp you keep your job but if your rude. Then forget it I'll go to the superstore.

I love the fact that this is Supercentre. I can pick up some grocery items at the same time as other house hold essential I may need. There is also a McDonald's in here, so it is great to get our little girl an ice cream to eat in the cart while we shop - win - win. Friendly cashiers as well.

It was nuts in there today. Also wasn't really happy that I couldn't use a store credit card that my wife sent me a picture of at the register. She sent me a picture of the bar code on the card. I asked how to use it at the self checkout and the employee said it couldn't be used. You would think in store credit would be an opinion on their self serve machines. Very disappointed in this. People now a days are using their phones more than ever. If the bar code is readable it should be able to be used. On a semi positive note I got a free cookie that they were giving out to the many people in line.

The self checkouts are really cramped up and become inconvenient easily. Really wish they would bring back some human checkout prioritization. This Walmart also desperately needs a backroom expansion! This store is capable of producing Haligonian sales numbers so it doesn't make sense to have a backroom the size of a small rural town's.

Old lady cashiers treat and watch you like you’re a shoplifter. They charge 5 cents a bag and if you bring your own bags they just sit everything on the other side of the checkout to bag yourself. The company and service at this location have greatly decreased. Wish I could give them a 0 star rating.

This store is in need of an update or replacement. The population of Truro and the surrounding area has increased to the point that the traffic and layout of this store does not suit the customer. It consistently has empty shelf items and is showing its age. the grocery section in the center does not work and having a pillar in the middle of an aisle blocks traffic or forces a shopper to rush. we go to New Glasgow no as it has more room and more items.

This Walmart isn't as good as the one in Trail, quite a bit smaller and the grocery department isn't nearly as good. They don't really do produce and there's only some dairy and beverage fridges in the front. Not really the one to go to if you want groceries but there is a Save-On-Foods close by.

Went there a couple of times to shop and today at the checkout I did not see the staff member asking to see other people's receipts ... she approached us and request to see our receipt we showed her and as we left the store we did not notice her requesting to see the people's receipts after us. This was unacceptable as we were the only people of color and made us feel unwelcome especially coming from Ontario. I will not ever shop there again.

It is a walmart. Unlike the USA our walmart does not carry liquor or cigarettes. It is smaller and has less product than Walmarts in the USA. But usually a one stop shop if you need a little of this and a little of that. Huge parking lot. Sometimes RVs and campers will set up for the night while on the road. Seems like a general walmart thing that they seem to allow. Staff is friendly (I am here more than I like to admit) Isles are a little narrow when moving through with a cart. Macdonalds inside, automotive service centre, optomatrist, and passport and family photos. Like I said. It's Walmart. They probably got what you need.

After ordering nuggets (without receiving any sauce by the way), I promptly slipped on some sprite with no ice near the tray area and broke both my feet. The recovery took months of physio, but the chicken nuggies were pretty good. 5 stars.

I have never had a problem with this store until recently. In the last few days I have gone in to purchase, only a few items, and noticed that the shelves are not being filled during the night shiift. I don't know if it is the employee or the store. But if the customer has been in the store and it is not on your shelves they will start going else where. While I was there today I did complain to one of the staff members. There was a man in front of me with a full cart in the express lane; the cashier said nothing can be done about it. Why have the express if you are not going to follow with the quide lines of the "express lanes". Try put a sign up in various language so every one will know the meaning of express. I hope the next time I go there the shelves will be filled.

I guess from a customers perspective it’d be alright. From a workers perspective is a whole different story. Just got to say, some of the management isn’t too spectacular. Garbage laying around the store, constantly finding it behind and under other products, or sometimes out in the open. There are some friendly people here don’t get me wrong. My experience with the store was something else. An elderly cashier served me. I had a coupon on an item and told her that it was there. She went into a tirade that they do not have time to remove coupons. I completely understand this but I could have been told in a nice manner not like I was being scolded. I also understand that it is hard to get staff but this level of customer service is appauling. The customer beside could not believe what this cashier was getting on with. Surely Walmart can do better than this.

Worked there 15 years ago. Had asked for the day off for my sons christmas concert, but the manager forgot to give me it off even after asking ahead of time. And I came to work that day and asked of I could leave 1 hour to see me sons concert(he was 5) but she told me if I left for an hour that I will be fired. So of course I left and was fired because of it, and she even went so far as to put me a a no hire at Walmart forever and lied and said I was a bad worker. Any of my co workers would have disagreed with her and I never was late or missed work. To this day I cannot work at walmart because of this and I refuse to buy anything there as well.

Usually don't review Walmarts as we tend to patronize them while traveling in our RV. In contrast to the nicest one (On Rt 90 east of Destin, FL) which I would rate a five star this one is a two star. The staff was very lack-luster no joy here. Many of the shelves in the grocery section were bare, reminded me of the Soviet Union.

Pretty swanky place???? but can yall stock up on bts albums? It's just that the only places i know of where I can buy bts albums is walmart or sarah and Tom's in Halifax. Sarah and Tom's is farther away but has far more selection and Walmart is closer, but has less albums.
